Elfen Lied may be the bloodiest anime i've seen yet; you could probably fill a swimming pool with the blood that was spilt in the entire series, hahaha! However, it's a very good anime, i liked it very much from the story to the characters. I loved the opening song too!   |

It is a pity that they ended the series without featuring Kouta and friends heading to the island to rescue Lucy/Nyuu. I am quite tempted to purchase the manga so that I can read the actual ending. Even with all the blood and nudity, I believe Elfen Lied has plenty of hidden meanings within its storyline.  |

Okay without the blood and nudity Elfen Lied would not of gotten its message through it's viewers of being such a serious anime. Although i think the nudity is kidna unnecessary and could of been avoided 1/2 the time but it's okay i read the manga it's so much better and the anime had end so soon gahhh i wish there will be a season 2 to finish off the story line the manga has created.  |

yeah elfen lied may be the bloodiest but its my top 1 anime.. i like the story..and also the character..i downloaded the manga but incomplete...what is the last manga volume of elfen lied?.. |

@SkyL: Lol, I know, right. I really need to find this manga. Elfen Lied was a great anime which without the violence, wouldn't get Lucy's emotions or the story's point across to the viewer. But the only thing I could do without is the nudity. I know, I know, it's fanservice, right? But everytime I try to show someone this anime, they are turned away 15 mins into it. And don't even get me started on the later episodes. Hopefully the manga doesn't have all this in it, so I can introduce it to people. It's a shame to be denied such a great anime because of a animator with a loli complex, rofl.   |

| "SPOILER ALERT" "SPOILER ALERT" Nope she's dead, but there's a clone Mariko that fight's Nana and Kurama shoots her and save's Nana,so the clone Mariko never last's long hahaha, oh and in the manga Nana never dies(I had to add that since Nana is my fav character yahoo!!) you should start reading the manga it's pretty good, I think they still have some over at mangavolume(although the last couple of chapters aren't translated into English yet) but if you don't want to bother looking for it then you can just go to wikipedia they've got pretty much all the major events that happen in the manga. |

im "feeling" it hahahaha im on ep 7 and i just gotta say this is one of the best scenes in the anime NANA ROCKET PUNCH! MAZINGER Z STYLE!hahaha OH YEAH! hahaha that was soooo awesome hahaha and about the violence hmmm not too sure if i would pity the victims or laugh at em (well blame AMV hell 0 for that...it made the killings look all goofy hahahaa) so far..so good...^^V anyone has an image/gif of that scene rocket punch? |

Elfen lied is so great!! I love Nyu a lot also also i like too much Lucy, the is a wonderful anime, and also the intro song.. and i think that lucy is still alive, cause she is the original diclonius and also i dont think the director of that laboratories would sent the order to kill her.. anyways hope theres a future ova ^__^ Elfen lied plot is amazing .. and is a sad story .. but i feel more sad about lucy and how she suffers just for being different and also how she met kouta and the scene when she apologizes to him and kouta tells her that he cant forgive her.. and with lilium as the background music.. its really sad and memorable T_T..^^ its one of my favorite series..^^

I love this anime also... The last episode was really sad, but beautiful... I can only use the word beautiful for this anime... However, I think lucy is dead already, the last scene was just giving us hope and trying to make an unforgettable scene for us. |
