@ Dood-san Thanks! for liking my sliding sig! I thought it looks kinda cool & if you don't know what anime series the character is from just hover over the pic to recieve the name of it. It will be constantly changing when new series are out. As promised here is a promo video for the 2nd season. You can see it or download it at the official homepage. ef ~a tale of melodies~ homepage http://www.ef-melo.com/top.html The homepage has the exact scene in the new game with Yuko holding a child Mizuki! |

I believe the first season was overlooked by many anime fans because of its abstract nature. Hopefully, the second season will attract their attention because it is truly a great series. The opening sequences for both visual novels were breathtaking, I have to add. |

Finally was able to complete the ef -the latter tale- visual novel & it was worth every minute/hour/week..whatever it took to finish it. All the questions are revealed in this last chapter from the origins of Yuko & her relationship with Yu. The Chichiro scenario played nearly identical to the first anime. This game mainly focused on Mizuki (pigtails) & Yuko. Mizuki's scenario is just as sweet as the other characters (Miyako, Kei & Chichiro) but her role in the story is vital in Yuko's scenario. I'm not gonna spoil the ending but lets just say it is heartbreaking...reminds me of another tear-jerker of a visual novel whose main character share a similar spelling to Mizuki. The music is absolutely stunning as usual...there is a gut-wrenching piano rendition of Yuukyuu no Tsubasa called 'To meet you Someday', that if you hear it will rip at you.Emotional stuff to say the least. After witnessing this masterpiece of a game i can't wait for the 2nd season of ef. Just so you know that if it is anything identical to the game than we're in for a treat. Probably next to CLANNAD's after story this is going to be the most emotional series of the year. If you are looking to cry than seeing ef -a tale of melodies- is your choice. I attempted to record the end sequence to the game using my camera...there is no real spoiler (unless you understand japanese) when you see this. The animation is similar to the ones used for the anime. The end song is called 'Ever Forever' by Hitomi Harada. Some things you need to know. The video is poor of course due to using a camera. I had to use a recording device to capture the audio cause it was too quiet using the camera. Also for some reason the audio & video aren't in sync...again due to my rushed attempt to make this. I'm trying to see if i can borrow my friends camcorder to make a better version of this, at least this will give you a taste for the new season. Enjoy. Again yes i know the quality is horrendous....XD |
