Hey everybody! Finally got some real free time to post! From now until mid May, I probably won't have much time to draw or anything, so good luck all! Now then, THANKS SO MUCH ALL OF YOU FOR YOU COMMENTS!! I'm glad Izumo liked it, it was fun to draw though! Right then, @Eureka, thank you very much! That's a truly meaningful comment, and I thank you again for it! Your new pics are amazing though! Pic 1: WHOA! He looks AWESOME!!! I love the glare and the dark pose, very intimidating and I can tell you've totally begun to master the BLEACH style of art! Definitely one of ya best! Pic 2: Haseo came out fantastically, his dark pose and adventurous expression fits completely perfectly! Quite impressive and ya skill never disappoints! Really cool job E-chan, and I forgot to say earlier, but I really like ya siggy! @Roylover, thanks very much for ya comments! And welcome to the thread! Pic 1: Both Sothe and Tormod look amazing with your coloring style! It's very vibrant and eyecatching, quite stylish too! Great to have such a talent here! @Izumo, you're quite welcome again! The attention to general detail and perspective is readily apparent, it's a pleasure to see! LOL it does look like the real one indeed. Nice drawing and no flaws into it. ^^ By looking at it, it must have taken you quite alot of time to draw it.  |

@Korento: It is great to see some original character artwork design. I really like the full length illustration of the two characters. The detail is great. I can see a lot of creativity. You kind of art are ones that makes me feel like I want ot draw more. Inspirational! Please show us more. @Eureka: Looks like you drew too really mean dudes. Did you use ink or was it pencil that you used? It looks great. I am impressed with the expression. Very convincing. BTW, check out my profile for my age. I am probably a statistical anomaly here as far as age goes. By my mind is permanently stuck at age 16. ^__^ @Ichvon: you had the Belldandy pic in the first post of the manga drawing request thread. I think it was partially shown. I am glad you gave us the whole thing. It looks very nice, indeed.  |

Eureka:: *see's Byakuya* (O.O) Oh, sweet BLEACH drawing. It's really nice; same with the one below, too. XD korento:: Woah, you're character designs are pretty nice. Very creative and I like the way you drew them on each angel (on the side, front, etc.). Nice stuff. Ich:: I think I've seen one or two before, but they're still nice drawings. Very nice. I also like the village, house thing, too. XD Cerestrial:: Oh, this is new. I've never seen an image like this posted here before, way to go. It looks so straight, and mistakes are kind of final on chalk? I did this last year, but yours is really nice. So balanced and straight. Perfect nearly. ^^, Raylover:: Nice use of color and an even balance of coloring there as well. I like the placement of the characters and everything fits nice, too. mr.mushroom: You have a nice use of colors as well. In the second image, some parts were correct on the ribbon but some parts were... I forget the art terms I learned last year... Well, I think you know what I mean. Nice images though, don't get me wrong. XD Oh, mind me going backwards. I haven't been here in a while and I'm kind of rushing right now. Great stuff guys; keep it up.

@ Izumo - Thanks for the welcome! @ Eureka - Thanks! I'll do more Prisma pencils, but my sibling is warning me not to use it so much. Doing a picture like that takes a lot of led out of the pencils. And, true, Roxas teeth make him look rather vicious. And in your second post, the two pictures you put up are rather nice indeed. I like how you work with details. I'm always very lazy with it. @ Pappy - Oh, I know. I did something like that back in middle school. It was hard. Thanks for the comment. Color pencils aren't too hard after you get the hang of it. @ Cerestial - I'll probably do more. It's fun to use that medium. However, it isn't as hard as you make it sound. And that drawing is very nice, I must say. Neat! @ Without You - They really are of primary colors. XD It's just how they are designed. I just work with the colors. Well, they look older than they really are. I was aiming for the sequel look they get in the upcoming game (which is around 17-19 years old). @ Ich - Oh, well, that's something I find difficult. I think it's more that I'm lazy to do it rather than I'm unable to do it. Anyways, by how you sketched everything, you did well to show what you want to show. Good job! On your second post, you did a very nice job on copying that one Belldandy picture. Many artists find it hard to copy others work, but it's very important on copying others work because you get the hang of that certain artist's style. Kudos to you! @ Korento - Thanks! Really, color pencils aren't too hard to use once you get to know how to use it. Oh, and I love your style. It's elegant and rather realistic, too! The only thing that I find strange is Pandora's neck. It's a bit thick for a girl since, from the looks of it, she is a fine lady who doesn't really have a strong build. Over all, beautiful work here! @ Rea - Thanks for dropping by! :D @ Roq - Thanks for the welcoming and comment! I'm all about setup and emotions when it comes to doing my art. @ Dangel - Thanks! It's just how I work...I like to make things rather dynamic. @ Ness9411 - You just use html codes to display them. eg. < img src= " YOUR LINK " alt= " NAME OF PICTURE " > To display the link... < a href= " YOUR LINK " > TITLE OF YOUR PICTURE < /a > Easy as that. ^_^...and of course, without spaces. -----------------------------  Another Sothe and Tormod of Fire Emblem, but, this time, they're younger. I did this in Photoshop and it probably took me about 4-5 hours to color it. As you can see, the lineart of the picture isn't really...all that well done. However, it was one of those sketchy outlines, good coloring pictures. Also, I'm very lazy with backgrounds. Thus, why the background is so...lame.  |

That is another awesome pic!...i agree with the negative photo comparison....it looks like it was done with chalk on a board...impressive! @ Ich-san There is no shame in being a photo-artist....it is how doujin creators get started...which i can see you doing...in fact the "Lets make a manga" thread is a nice start. Being a fan artist i think is a good approach....is originality a good thing...of course but it does have its negatives...coming up with the ideas do take a long time.....believe me i know! 1: Why didn't you add BG to your pics before...the Kakashi pic was the first to show off your imagination....backgrounds are mostly visual & anything added to a pic can make all the difference... 2: The pic of Bell is absolutely fine...i can still see all the detail & work done on her....great pic...i feel heavenly looking at it...maybe cause she's such a beautiful character which you definitely did justice to. @ Korento Welcome to the thread....i believe this is our first time here is it not...if not....sorry i never noticed you before...*bows* I should cause those are just awesome character designs...looks like something out Ragnarok....nice fantasy style clothing & detail for each character. @Korento:I can view your pics at work because of firewall but I will comment on them tonight when I get home. @Kana: Here are my comment on your artwork: Pro: You got the basic elements down for character drawing. That means the head, body, proportion, clothing, and facial expression. You even drew your characters in different views. Your skill level is probably above 95% of the population. Most people can't draw a straight line to save their lives.(exegeration, I know) >__< Con: The overall look of the drawing is good. There is a message there. You just need to work on the finer detail. It could be as simple as having a darker outline. Use of various pressure on your pencil can create great number of variety of looks and feels. Go to the anime request gallery to see some examples of lineart character drawing. Keep at it. Glad to see you post here. |
