Currently, she is the weakest, thus her ranking makes sense. Although, as the anime continues, she will get stronger. Eventually, she'll be able to take down Priscilla, the awakened one who took down Teresa in a flash when Clare was younger. The current #1, can't even handle Priscilla yet, since Priscilla was also a #1 at such a young age, too, but foolishly passed her limits.

@DA Comparing sword techniques, Irene's flash sword is way cooler than Ophelia's snake sword IMHO, the snake sword did not seem real to me.. unlike the sword that the bandit leader had (falcon sword was it?) the snake sword did not really bend like a snake. It only seemed that way cos Ophelia moved her arm and vibrated the sword at a crazy speed. Although, I din understand why Clare could not block her so-called snake sword. Think there's no way she can get her arm back other than by regenerating it.. since Claymores can learn techniques from each other, she can learn regen as well from the other 'half-awakened' Claymore from back when she fought that male awakened being. It was actually Ophelia who said it.. there are 2 types of Claymores, the defending type and the attacking type. Clare is an attacking type, so she does not regenerate wounds well, dun even talk about regenerating a body part.. XD Clare using Irene's arm? Whoa.. sounds similar to Fate/Stay Night.. XD Hmm.. I have to disagree though.. i think Irene did not regenerate her arm back because she did not know how back then. After the battle, she faked her death and hid her yoki and did not have any contact with any other claymores until now. Also, unless Ophelia comes after her (which could be a possibility, since Irene did seriously injure her), Irene would not fight. Although it's quite slim cos Irene's yoki is suppressed. Uhh.. dun take my word for it though, I've been wrong before.. *thinks about the bro-sis thingy* aahahha.. Kinda ashamed to admit that earlier on, juz from watching the OP, I did not like Irene, rather, I thought Ophelia looked rather cool. Man.. no wonder I alwiz seem to be fall into the wrong company XD I find Irene soooo uber cool now, the way she deflected those attacks from that arrogant Ophelia XD @Akia It's hard to think that Clare could win Orphelia with one hand... So she would probably learn how to regenerate it or somehow gets it back... But if you think about it, all this while the Claymores have been handling their..err.. claymore with one hand. The problem now is that, Clare is right-handed so she has to learn to handle her sword with her left for the moment. I dun think it would be a problem even if she did not get her right arm back.. although I do think she would eventually regenerate it back XD @darkfinal89 I dun want to spoil it for you, so I'll just say this.. other Claymores are 1/2 human, 1/2 yoma. Clare is only 1/4 yoma so like it or not, she is ranked #47 in the organisation. Root for the underdog~! XD There's still no mention of how they can go up in rank though. Other than the top 5, the ranking does not really mean all that much XD

I don't think she could've restored her left arm, because she lost it during a battle. The other Claymores she was with that day, probably weren't regenerating types, as well. They well called to take down "Teresa of the Faint Smile", where at that certain time, she was the strongest Claymore. Also, if she restored it, Priscilla would've killed her. Clare couldn't of blocked Orphelia's "Snake Sword" Technique because she's not trained enough [in battle] to deal with those, more advanced moves yet. She doesn't even have any moves to call her own yet. Flash Sword will be the first move she's taking under wing from Irene. I think Irene will die soon, but Irene would prefer that to be her fate. Teaching Clare her signature move, will be the last act she'll be able to commit in this world, and then she'll die happily ever after without any type of regrets. And about "regenerating", I think that's a hard move on her part, to pull off smoothly. She couldn't heal her legs together in time to save her right arm during her encounter with Orphelia, so "regeneration" at this point, seems rather complicated, although she might learn it later on. You can't really say for sure she'll meet any Claymore from her last party, the same way she met Irene. Those wounds she left for Orphelia were just enough to escape. They did injure her mentally, though, and she might Awaken herself now... or, she might've done it already, I don't remember.

LOL~ Claymores aren't really models now. Much of it is 'cause of their eyes. ^_^; But, I agree with you about Teresa~ :3 It should be out after I sleep, so I'll be dLing it later hopefully.

I'm waiting for episode 14 too. I hope it's a battle btw clare and the awaken orphelia. Most importantly, i hope clare defeats her using the flash sword she learned from irene. CLARE, PLEASE BECOME STRONGER!!! i cant stand the fact teresa died and the fact about clare being last. if she defeats orphelia, maybe she can get promoted? |

She's done many things that should've gotten her a higher rank, but she still remains last, sadly. If she's ranked last, I wonder if there are more then 47 Claymores. I have 14 now, so I'll watch it in a few minutes. ¯3¯ [e d i t][spoiler] Woah, this episode was pretty intense. I never thought she'd learn it that quickly, although she still has a long way until she fully masters it. Getting used to the released Yoki with her "arm", is a complicated enough task as it is. I was right about her using Irene's arm, but now this new Claymore comes in, Rafaela, ranked fifth among Claymores, might kill Irene now. In the end, Ophelia didn't look that bad. XD I kind of adored her voice; not sure why I was listening to closely and clearly to that, but whatever. ¯3¯

Episode 14 is not too bad. At least, clare has gotten much stronger. That's the most i will say for now, many people out there may not have watch it yet. :D |

She turned out to be a sweetheart who cared only for her brother. They can finally be re-united in the other world, so touching. T-T Also, the guy's name is Raki, right? The kid who Clare hung around with? Her "Clare" (Teresa and the younger Clare). I'm curious to see where he went. He must be training for his Claymore lover! XD
