@Kiba: Shouldn't it be urusai? Anyway, adding one for me: ココナットã®é¦™ã‚Š (The smell of coconuts). Not really a "Japanese phrase", but since I heard it in a song, I just like repeating it over and over again... O_O ![]() ![]() |

Urusai is often said as Urusei or Uruse for more rudeness. my favorite phrase is the classis Osakaben: ãªã‚“ã§ã‚„ãã‚“ Nandeyanen, which is like What the hell? or Why the hell? ãªã‚“ã§ã‚„ãん? |

"Sa, yudan sezu ni ikou." It means, "Let's not get careless" or "Don't let your guard down". Some people might know that this is one of Tezuka Kunimitsu's notable quotes. And he sounds absolutely AWESOME when he says it!!! I was a person back then. I could smile and laugh and... feel. All the colors... all the hurt... all the laughing... it all went away. All of them. They used words like brain damage... and cerebral trauma. But even then I understood. I was safe... safe from the bad thing. |
