OOC: Oh Kingpeon, I thought you were referring to the fact that her brother was unwillingly drafted into the knightmares... haha, no you were right, but I edited my post and we can just leave it the way it is now... gosh, I'm sorry... lol And Jon if you have an idea on how I can further incorporate Anke's brother in this let me know, I have a few ideas, but I want your advice first :) again, terribly sorry about the whole Anke's brother thing u.u'' ANKE Stormcaller Mansion "I agree with you Vivian, Toorop is not trust worthy, I keep getting the feeling that he is working against us... anyway we'll need to get away during the night time in order to shake him... Besides I have an even funnier gut feeling about all this... as you already know..." she looked at Vivian and forced a smile. She stood up stretched and sighed. "Well I'm going to go pack up and get ready to move out, perhaps we should leave tonight just after midnight... Toorop seems to be in his room by then on most nights, and it's a quiet time to travel. The snow melted some this week so the roads will be easier to navigate anyway and the moon will give us plenty of light." With that Anke walked out of the library and down the hall back to her's and Vivian's room. She laid down on the bed and closed her eyes throwing her arms over her head. I had forgotten about the incident with the cold ones there for a moment, and I'm worried about my family... Especially now that I think my house and my body are in danger, I'd really hate to drag everyone into this with me. She sighed and turned onto her side, punching her pillow to make it softer, I don't think I reacted very well to Vincent's confrontation either, I bet I just made him mad at me, god, but I don't know what's up with me either, he just confused me more today... I'm not sure where to go from here...?  |

@Anke - I don't have any advice in particular since I'm not sure what your ideas are. Whatever you want to go ahead with is fine by me. [Outside Stormcaller Mansion] Vincent smiled slightly and leaned back. "My name is Vincent Vinland. To answer your question, if I didn't discuss things with the other members of my group then I certainly am not going to discuss them with you." He shifted his eyes momentarily to the animal on his shoulder before looking back to Talisman. "So why exactly are you still hanging around? You didn't seem that eager to be around us when we first found you, and it cannot be very comfortable having everyone keep a watchful eye on you."    |

[Vivian][Stormcaller Mansion] Vivian saw the look on Anke's face when she smiled at her, and Vivian could tell that it wasn't a real smile. Something's up with her, Vivian thought, I've seen many of her true smiles, even a smile when she doesn't even feel like it, but that looks more like a pained smile. When Anke suggested leaving at midnight and walked out, Vivian sighed. "I agree with Anke," Vivian said, "We'll leave around midnight and go to her place. Let's pack everything up, get a few disguises on, and move out. I might be able to help with the disguised part, there might be a spell in Picasso for that. But for now I'll go and help Anke." Vivian turned to Fenris, and leaned in and quickly kissed him, then stayed close after it. "I have to help her out alone," Vivian whispered, "If you know what I mean." With that, Vivian let go of his hand and walked out of the room to go back to the room she shared with Anke. She quietly went in and shut the door behind her. She sat on the edge of Anke's bed and put an arm on Anke's back. "Things are a bit of a mess at the moment, aren't they?" Vivian said, "People coming after us, threatening our lives as well as those of our loved ones. But they just don't know of our situation. They are told the lies that Alexandderson, or whoever else is in on this, and the sad part is... They might believe it too. For all they know, we could be dead, he could be telling them that we fatally died somehow." She got a little chuckle at the thought, although she too had tears in her eyes. The worst part is, Vivian thought, Is that it's the truth too. "But, someday, things will work out," Vivian continued, "We will all get to live our lives the way we want to, without the Knightmares or Alexanderson looming over everything we do. We'll all stick by each other. I know I'm there to help you out, along with Fenris, Aeon, and Vincent. I've trusted my life with all of you, and you all did your fair share to help out in times of a crisis. The five of us were all in this together since we left the academy. I still don't trust Toorop yet, but as for everyone else I'm pretty sure we'll continue this trust, and make it out of this situation somehow." She went down closer to hug Anke. "You're my best friend," Vivian said, "Whatever your problem, whenever it happens to come around, I'll be there for you. You can count on that." She continued to hug Anke, hoping that her talk from her own heart helped cheer her friend up.  |

[Talisman] Talisman couldn’t help but laugh at the remark Vincent had given him. He tied his sword bag to the back of his shoulder and put his hand in his pockets underneath his cape. Talisman took a deep breath as he watched the steam float away into nothing from the cold air. -Guess he’s right,- thought Talisman. –Tho I guess its instinct to sense that’s something is going on.- "So why exactly are you still hanging around?†Vincent asked Talisman. “You didn't seem that eager to be around us when we first found you, and it cannot be very comfortable having everyone keep a watchful eye on you." Talisman didn’t expect Vincent to ask him of Talisman’s reasons for staying, but he expected as much seeing as no one trusted him. Talisman patted Kota’s head as he felt him lean his head down over Talisman’s shoulder and put his hand back into his pocket under his cape. He took another deep breath before answering Vincent. “Seemed like a good idea at the time I guess.†sighed Talisman. He paused for a moment and slightly smiled before continuing. “It was mostly my instinct for what I am that was talking at the time, I didn’t want to stay because I don’t like being cared for, or in this case healed, by others, three an’ a half years alone traveling taught me to fend for myself. But you’re right, everyone keeping an eye on me isn’t really comfortable, but you get used to it over time, for me tho, most of my life was like that, kept a close eye on by my masters and some others. Anyways, I wasn’t planning to stay long, to be honest I figured if I leave you guys would chase after me to bring me back.†Talisman kept silent for a few moments and stared off into the distance. -Honestly, I would like to know what I’m doing here.- thought Talisman. –I’m starting to get bored just sitting around doing nothing.- As Talisman stared off, suddenly, he loudly sneezed. -Huh. Looks like someone’s talking about me,- thought Talisman as he rubbed his nose. –Most likely it’s the rest of the group. That or its getting colder.- “By the way,†said Talisman. “I know it’s not any of my business, but did you get into a fight with that girl earlier? I mean, seeing as that I found you out here with your mind wandering about and that girl nowhere around here, I couldn’t help but wonder.†A small gust of wind came through the area as Talisman waited for a reply from Vincent. Talisman felt the breeze hit his face, and he felt cold. As the breeze came by it carried a scent that Talisman noticed right away. His nose started to twitch as he tried to figure out where it’s coming from, he had no luck. -What’s this scent,- thought Talisman. –The wind carried it through here, but I’m having no luck finding out where it came from. I know I have smelt this scent before, it’s very familiar, but I can’t remember where I smelt it before. I get the feeling we might be in for a surprise.- Talisman looked at Kota and saw that his ears were perked up and he was sniffing his nose. Talisman kept his face calm as trying not to let Vincent know something was up. Instead Talisman waited patiently for Vincent’s answer to his question.    |

Aeon | Mansion Library "And then there were two." Aeon commented as Anke left, with Vivian following soon after. They had decided to head over to Anke's now. There seemed to be some issues that could be resolved there, like getting her real body back and maybe dealing with a source of attacks. Aeon found a book that looked interested and pulled it out and opened it to a random page. As he was reading through it he paused and looked up at Fenris. "Hey Fenris, how do the Stormcallers treat their enemies after a war is over?" Aeon asked, "are Stormcallers the 'respect your old enemies' type and treat them amicably or the type to hold a grudge and continue to treat them as enemies?" |

[Stormcaller Mansion] Aeon: "Hey Fenris, how do the Stormcallers treat their enemies after a war is over? Fenris: Well it all depends on how the enemy has acted, but they tend to treat them with respect, there's always exceptions of course, but that's how it mostly happens. Now if you'll excuse me. Fenris rose from the couch and left the room searching for Ranek, whom he found in one of the smaller studies. Fenris: We're leaving tonight. Ranek closed the book he had been reading and gestured for Fenris to sit down. Ranek: So your course is set then? Fenris: It is, but I can't help but wonder how we are going to get to the West? Ranek smiled slyly. Ranek: I might have a solution for you, Moriar! Fenris was shocked when he heard the name, Moriar Blackwing, leader of the Ravenguard. Ravenguard were messengers of the Fang's masters, but why was Moriar was here... Moriar stepped forward and handed Fenris a piece of parchment, that was sealed with Morkai's personal seal. Fenris cracked it open and read it. After reading it he started laughing. Fenris: That old man sure knows his stuff, this helps immeasurably. How many did you take with you Moriar? Moriar: I have only two Ravenguards with me, as Morkai suspected we'd be getting company here. Fenris: So it would seem, so if we take the traditionally sized messenger force, there will be ten of us. So we need two more... Ranek could you spare Sven and Ragnar? Ranek: Old friend and an eye, good choice, they'll be ready. When are you leaving? Fenris: Midnight. Moriar: I shall get my men ready, we'll meet you at the small courtyard. Ranek: I'll go tell Ragnar and Sven and get them ready. Fenris: I'll go tell my friends. Ranek could you send someone to inform Aeon and Vincent that their presence would be appreciated at the room we're staying in? Ranek: Certainly. The three of them shook hands and departed from the study, each going to different direction. Fenris headed for the rooms they had been staying in. He could hear Vivian and Anke talking in their room, but he decided not to disturb them, it was past midday, but they still had plenty of time to get ready. Instead he laid down on one of the couches and started dozing off.   |

Aeon | Stormcaller Mansion After Fenris had gave his answer and left Aeon returned to looking through the book he opened earlier. "That guy sure is abrupt" Aeon said to himself, "maybe he doesn't like me." Aeon laughed at the thought, but didn't disregard it as a possibility. Aeon sighed as he flipped through the pages. "This is going to take way too long. I hate using this method but..." he said, as he gathered magic and some of the books started to float off the shelves, and flip through pages. Aeon closed his eyes and took a breath. "Let's see if I can find what I'm looking for by the end of the day" Aeon said, grinning to himself, as his magic began the scan of the pages. |

[Talisman] Vincent’s question caught Talisman off guard; he was surprised that such a question would come up. Talisman didn’t know how to react, but he suddenly felt his heart throb with pain. Talisman pushed his hand against his chest, and forced himself to keep calm as he forced himself to crack a smile. -I don’t know,- Talisman thought. –Yuri is the only person that comes to mind.- “I - I’m not really sure, what I mean is I honestly can’t remember,†said Talisman slightly depressed. “I guess I do have someone like that.†Talisman reached into his bags bottom pocket and pulled out a worn picture of Yuri. He walked up to the railing and leaned his arms on it as he stared at the picture. Talisman then reached into his pocket on the side of his leg and pulled out another picture, the one he always carried with him, only the picture had both Yuri and Talisman, both smiling and Talisman without his headband on. In the picture they sat up near the forest in Shinmei together on the ground with Yuri in front of Talisman with his arms wrapped around her waist and Yuri holding Talisman’s headband and her hand placed over his knee. Talisman stared at the pictures for a few seconds before showing them both to Vincent.  “The girl in the pictures, her name is Yuri,†said Talisman smiling a bit. “I met her years back while I was still at Shinmei. I was told we were always around each other. But, a few years back that all disappeared. I don’t know how it happened but, I have hardly any memory whatsoever of me and her together. These pictures were given to me by Master, the person who raised me when I was little.†Talisman paused for awhile rubbing the back of his head, he collected his thoughts before continuing. “I only have fragments of my memory with Yuri, my childhood and everything I have full memory of it, that went untouched, but for some reason, my memories of Yuri were wiped clean from me. When I first started off I remembered glimpses of her such as seeing her around and that’s it. Now, in the three years that have past I’ve managed to retrieve some memory, but it’s not in order.†explained Talisman. He then pointed to the picture of him and Yuri. “Sad part is, I don’t even have memory of the time this picture was taken. As you can see in the picture I have the ears and tail of a Dog. Yuri still wanted to be with me even tho she knew what I am. My master told me about most of the time I spent with Yuri, but even then Master didn’t know much. My guess is that she is that special someone to me.†Talisman took the pictures and pushed them into his jacket pocket, then turned his head to Vincent. “By the way,†said Talisman. “Now that you know what I really am and what I have told you about Yuri. Could you do a favor for me, and not tell anyone in or outside of your group about any of it?†Talisman stared off into the sky as he waited for a reply from Vincent. |

[Outside Stormcaller Mansion] 'At least you're making progress, there's still hope you'll wind up with that girl, as long as you keep at it anyway.' Vincent crossed his arms and closed his eyes, refraining from commenting on the answer to his question and instead merely thinking about it. "Don't worry. It's not as if I have anything to gain from telling others, unless you give me a reason to. I have little interest in gossiping about others." [Forest Near Stormcaller Mansion] Maria turned back to Arumuat and addressed him quietly. "You're friends are here." Arumuat moved silently over to Maria's location and peered through the brush. Most of the group was composed of bandits, with only a few weak looking individuals. "Good, I was rather afraid of ending up with a bunch of money grubbing weaklings, but it appears as though I managed to get a bunch of money grubbing brawlers at the least." He turned to his companions. "Get ready to move out. When they start their attack on the house we'll need to be close by so that we're ready to pick off the targets as planned." |

Vivian's words were comforting in a weird way, but they didn't help much. Anke allowed her friend to continue talking with out interruption though. "But, someday, things will work out. I mean he can be so trustworthy at times and then so cold hearted at other times." She stopped and looked her best friend in the eye, "but I'm really happy for you and Fenris! I can just ride on that happiness for now, and I'll be fine, ok?" |

OOC @ Anke- It's no problem. I know how you must feel... My finals/regents exams are coming up next month (like I'm looking forward to them lol). [Vivian][Stormcaller Mansion] Vivian saw that Anke was comforted by her, and she smiled. "You don't have to go on my happiness," Vivian thought, "Just try to make some of your own. And this thing with Vincent... I'm sure it will solve itself somehow. He seems to like you as well, but... He just doesn't know what to do. Which is normal enough. Unless if there's something that he told you that might have to dp with it. But either way, I'm sure it will go alright." "And with Fenris..." Vivian continued, "It was just... Amazing. Everything about it... It was so unexpected, but welcomed, you know? Everyone probably think's we're nuts by doing this sort of thing so early, but I love him. I really do. Plus... I don't know whether I'll be alive or dead by tomorrow. Sad thing to say, but I've had to learn that since we left the Academy. So I just take things as they come, I guess..." Vivian thought about how things were back at the academy. It seemed so... Different. "We've all changed so much since we've left the Academy." Vivian said suddenly. |

Aeon | Stormcaller Mansion After a short time Aeon had narrows his search down to two books. Taking them both with him he wandered back to the common room where he and the others had stayed the past week. Aeon wandered into a corner of the room, sat down, and started to read the books that he had found in the library while he waited for the others to return. He suspected they were going to plan how they were going to leave tonight, they seemed to like to plan all their moves. |

He got up and walked forward a little bit, addressing Talisman as he went. "What do you make of that?" He put his hands in to his pockets and crouched, before jumping straight up, high in to the air. Whatever it was, it was moving towards the mansion, but Vincent couldn't quite make out what the mass was from this distance. He landed back next to Talisman and turned towards the house, calling out in to it. "Hey! Some of you may want to come and have a look at this! Company's coming!" |

[Talisman] Talisman laughed a bit at the answer Vincent gave him. -Hm, hm, well I better not give him a reason,- thought Talisman. –Tho, I’m one that believes in the possibility.- "What do you make of that?" asked Vincent as he walk forward. Vincent jumped high into the air as Talisman looked into the direction Vincent pointed at. Vincent landed next to Talisman and called out to the others in the house. "Hey! Some of you may want to come and have a look at this! Company's coming!" called out Vincent. Talisman pulled up his headband a bit so he could see well. Kota climbed out of Talismans satchel on his back and landed on the ground staring in the same direction as the others and perked his ears. Talisman pushed off the ground while muttering a word and appeared on the roof of the house for a better view, Kota noticed and followed after. “This doesn’t look good,†Kota whispered to Talisman. “What’s going on?†“Don’t know, but I think my wish has been answered,†answered Talisman. Talisman formed a circle with his fingers and held his hand in front of his eye. "Clara Visibilitas." Talisman’s vision focused to the distances where the movement was. Kota climbed onto Talismans shoulder to see through his hand. Talisman and Kota saw a line of people headed towards the mansion. Talisman cursed as did Kota. Talisman took his bag off his back pulling out a stack of his paper charms, pushing them into his inner jacket pocket and untied his sword bag from his shoulder. Talisman also took his military patch from his bag making sure no one would see it and forced it down into his boot and took his pictures from in his jacket and put them into his bag. Talisman jumped down off the roof throwing his bag into his room from the open window as he fell and landed beside Vincent as Kota followed after. -What’s going on? – thought Talisman as he loosened the collar to his cape. –If they are what I think they are I’m in for some work. Heh, who knows, maybe I can have some fun with this prey I see in front of me.- “This might be problematic,†Talisman said to Vincent. “They all look like mercs, quite a few groups of them, I’m not sure how many I didn’t stop to count. Kota stay close we may have a fight on our hands.†Kota nodded his head at Talisman’s order and grew to his normal size which was to the height of Talisman’s hip. Talisman pulled his sword from its bag and tied the bag to the side of his belt next to his sash, he readjusted his gloves on his hands as he gripped his sword’s sheath tightly, and turned to Vincent. “I hope you can fight pretty well with those swords of yours, Vinland.†said Talisman patting Kota’s head. “They aren’t anyone I know of. What do want to do about them, Vinland?†Talisman stared out into the distance while waiting for a reply. |

[Stormcaller Mansion] Messenger had found Aeon in the library. Messenger: Aeon, Fenris asked you to get to the rooms you were staying in. With that the messenger left to run other errands. Fenris [Stormcaller Mansion] Fenris awoke from his sleep as he heard the door behind him close, he looked and saw Moriar standing there with a stack of black clothing with him. Fenris: Ah, Moriar what brings you... Fenris focused his gaze on the clothes Moriar was handing to him. Fenris: Are these? Moriar: Yes, they are indeed cloaks of the Ravenguard, you and your friends are accepted as temporary members for the duration of the trip. Moriar handed Fenris a parchment. Moriar: On the authority of Morkai and approved by the masters of The Fang. Fenris: The old mand really thinks of everything, I need to really thank him when I see him. Moriar: The others are ready to leave, we are waiting at the gates. with that Moriar left the room leaving Fenris standing there with a stack of cloaks. He pulled one out of the stack leaving the rest on the table and put the cloak on. A sense of lightness filled him as the magic woven into the cloak lessened his weight, the hood, when put on, would conceal his identity magically while shrouding his magic, other magically attuned people could still tell he had magic, but they couldn't tell what kind of magic it was. He then heard Vincent shouting from the outside. Vincent: "Hey! Some of you may want to come and have a look at this! Company's coming!" Fenris opened the window and stuck his head out, he couldn't see anyone yet, but he could sense them out there. Fenris: Vincent! Get inside, we need to get ready. He then went and opened the door to the room Anke and Vivian were in. Fenris: Excuse me, but we need to get going. It seems that the Mansion is... He was interrupted as Ranek slammed the door open. Ranek: Fenris, it seems you are the targets of this attack. Fenris: What! How do you know? Ranek: Our scouts returned just now and they say the force isn't quite large enough to seriously threaten the Mansion, but large enough that we need to use most of our current forces to engage them. And if that's the case and they are used as a distraction, the most logical reason is that they are after your group. Fenris: And we thought we still had some time. Ranek, I'll leave the Stormcallers to you, try to leave some parts of the Mansion standing will you? Ranek: Allright, I'll see what I can do. Ranek left the room and began shouting orders as he went, Fenris picked up two of the cloaks and handed them to Vivian and Anke. Fenris: Pack up quickly and put these cloaks on, it seems we need to leave sooner than we had thought. |

Aeon | Common room Aeon looked up from his book when Ranek burst through the door and exclaimed that they were under attack, and the aggressors were after his travelling companions. "Alright" Aeon said as he walked up to Fenris "so we're leaving and letting the stormcallers take care of themselves? Should we take the time to lend them a hand?" Aeon asked, but before he recieved an answer he turned to leave. "Well whatever you decide, I'll be right behind you" he said to Fenris. After he said that he teleported to the roof. "Been a week since I last fought" Aeon said to himself "well, the least I can do for my wonderful hosts is help them a bit with this little problem." Aeon glanced around and saw where the enemy was coming from. Thanks to Ranek, Aeon knew that they were an enemy, so he didn't have to hold back. "It'll be about two shots before they realize I'm the most dangerous person at this distance and try to stop me, so I'll take one shot and leave it at that. If anything it will scare them into slowing down." It was about this point that Aeon realized he was talking to himself and grinned, "Guess it's like old times again" he said to himself before starting to gather magic. |

[Vivian][Stormcaller Mansion] Before Anke could respond to her, Fenris opened the door to the room Anke and Vivian shared. "Excuse me," Fneris said, "But we need to get going. It seems that the Mansion is..." Ranek entered the area they were in and then told them that it was their group that was under attack, and from the looks of it there was a large force coming to distract the forces of the Stormcaller Mansion. He then left the room, and Fenris handed two cloaks to Vivian and Anke. "Pack up quickly and put these cloaks on," Fenris said, "It seems we need to leave sooner than we had thought." Vivian nodded, and slipped her cloak on. She could immediately tell that her sense on magic was concealed, and she threw Anke's cloak over her as well. Vivian ran around the room, quickly packing things up into Anke's bag and a bag that Vivian had found around the mansion. It was at first something that she found while looking through the mansion, it was good sized bag, and it seemed easy to carry, so Vivian took it and was going to ask Fenris later if she could take it with her. But there's no time for asking that now, Vivian thought as she threw the few clothes she had with her into the bag. She placed Anke's bag that she had packed for her over on her bed, and took her own bag and threw the strap over her shoulder and went out to the bathroom closest to the room. She put some medical supplies in her bag, and then went back over to Fenris. "I'm ready." Vivian said, "So I'm assuming we have decided to head West? Or are we heading somewhere else?" |

[Outside Stormcaller Mansion] Vincent heard Fenris call back to them to get inside. He seemed more concerned and shaken than usual. He turned towards Talisman. "Well, either get inside or get lost, because things are about to get hectic." He kept looking at the approaching group and noticed three other figures joining them before seeing a magic barrier go up. "I see, so their back huh. I was wondering if they had given up or not." |

[Stormcaller Mansion] Aeon: "Should we take the time to lend them a hand?" Fenris handed one of the cloaks to Aeon. Fenris: You can help if you want, but don't take too long we need to get going, meet us at the gates. Aeon teleported away, leaving Fenris, Vivian and Anke in the room, Vincent was coming towards them from the outside. Fenris tossed the last cloak to Vincent. Fenris: Vincent I know you're not comfortable with magic, but I would ask you wear it nonetheless. You should pack up quickly, were leaving. Oh, and Toorop, you're free to leave as well. He then went to collect his personal effects, which had been packed for leaving since their arrival, Ranek would have arranged rations for them so that side was in order. Only thing left was for them to get to the gates. He put out the fire pit in the middle of the room then pulled the hood of the cloak over his head. The illusion took over making him appear smaller, he knew that the illusion was fixed, so for Anke and Vivian, it would actually make them look bigger. In the end when the cloaks were on they would all look exactly the same. Vivian: "I'm ready. So I'm assuming we have decided to head West? Or are we heading somewhere else?" Fenris: Yeah, that's what we decided isn't it, but does Anke want to visit her home first? |
