Now that I've finished playing most of the game, I've gone back and started rewatching the series, and is it just me, or did anyone else notice that the music in the anime is the SAME EXACT music as in the game? I thought that was pretty amusing.

If you have played Kanon and Air, they are all the same music, most of the time different remixes or versions. Thats why there are 3 version of Chiisana Te No Hira, and 3 3 versions of Megu Meru. xD  |

@ Shige-san You are welcome to join us celebrate the release of the new season!! The more the merrier!! Everyone who see this will be in for a treat as some of us who have played the visual novel already know. Next to 'ef ~a tale of melodies~' this will be the most emotional series this season in my opinion. *Off topic* Everyone should see ef!!! I finished the 2nd game & MY GOD!!! is it a masterpiece. Like i said i tried to capture the ending but so far the quality is bad. You can see a bad video of it on the ef thread but WARNING it does contain spoilers!!! Anyways back on topic. @ h4x0r-san All the anime series based on Key visual novels use the same music featured in the game. Just like AIR & KANON before it CLANNAD like you have noticed uses the game OST as well. Although CLANNAD also uses music from there remix CDs like Memento. I can see why they kept the same music cause Jun Maeda-san & Shinji Orito-san are great composers & song writers..these 2 are responsible for the majority of the music heard in Key games. If there is a LITTLE BUSTERS! anime series expect to hear those music in it as well! If you want to hear every song made for CLANNAD just visit my profile cause the imeem playlist i have up contains ALL the songs for the game as well as the movie, piano, and remix CDs. There are over 100 peices of music. It is my most popular playlist on imeem...the majority of the music i uploaded myself. You can tell cause i rename every song. Take a listen to it if you have the time. @ Xiao-san As you probably know there are also multiple versions of MagMell aka.megumeru. As i mentioned above you can hear all the versions on the playlist. There are more than 3 versions of Megumeru in fact unfortunately LIA hasn't done a version of it yet T__T! @ DAngel-san If you really like LIA i suggest you try to obtain in anyway shape or form her box collection. I think it was released earlier this year....it contains 3 CDs with over 40+ songs. Great collection of some of her most popular songs as well as never released tracks. The 1st disc contains her more energetic songs, the 2nd has more ballads, while the last one is the remixed songs.  |

Hmm, thanks for the tip there Izumo. I'm a bit upset/depressed right now, so I'm just trying to get things together. Umm, I'll wiki Lia's info to see what I need to search for. Thanks again. [EDIT] Is it her Collection Album? Wiki has two up, and her 'new moon' singles album after that, not three?

@ DAngel-san The box set includes 'Diamond Days', 'Crystal Voice', & 'Spectrum Rays'. All 3 were release on 3 different days (i think or was it simutaneously?) & you had the option of getting each seperately. Or if you pre-ordered than you were able to get all 3 in a limited edition box set (which i have). The booklets show pics of Lia each different for each CD....she's a looker thats for sure!! Her new album has new songs mostly but do contain the Gunslinger Girl 2 songs as well as Yakuso the image song for the CLANNAD movie (strange it wasn't really in the movie but played mostly for the trailers & previews). |

Kya~ A 'after story' arc after Tomoya and Nagisa became a couple?? Clannad is quite a balance anime in terms of its plot. This series mostly focus on family and friends love and didnt go too over with romance between a boy and a girl..... Well,im gald that a 'after story' arc will be coming out and i hope it will be a good ending towards the series

@ Xiao-san There may well be one already but i haven't really did a search for it yet. If there isn't one than be my guest, i would love to contribute what i know & love about Lia. She's probably in my top 5 in japanese singers maybe top 2. @ DAngel-san Her discography isn't totally huge like compared to say KOTOKO but it is fairly sized. What i like is that they are mostly albums she doesn't release alot of singles other than a select few. You are gonna love her collection box it is worth every penny & in your case every spent second. *********************** Continuing the talk on Lia, i do wonder how the new OP/ED will sound like. Will the OP be as great as the one for AIR? or will it be more of a ballad. The same goes with the ED song. Well most ending themes are slow songs so it'll be interesting to hear. Also i wonder if they will use a melody of a CLANNAD song as the base for the new ones, like what they did with Dango using Chiisana? Anyways in some related news & i'm not sure if this will have any bearing on the new season but according to reports it seems that ADV has acquired the license for CLANNAD. Not really suprising cause they did get AIR & KANON, which they did a very good job on dubbing. If you want to read about it here is the source: ADV licenses CLANNAD  Again not sure what impact it will have on the new season but personally i think it won't have too much affect. I assume this license is for the 1st season &/or the movie. However i do expect that once the After Story is complete than ADV will reveal the licenese for this at a later date. |

[@Izumo] Yeah, true that. I hope to continue to hear great stuff from her in the future. I'm not worried about someone not subbing it either, cause really, there's always someone who subs the anime. This licensing thing, I'm not worried about at all. I'll be expecting it come this Friday (or Saturday (subbed episode)). [@Xiao] Haha, just make the thread on her. It doesn't have to be like, all detailed.
