Yeah, I just got around to watching the first two episodes of Gokaiger and I like it way the hell more than Megaforce (even just in terms of concept really). I'm going to stick with this one.    |

| @Jonathon: Cool. If you do decide to get into more Sentai, I recommend Gekiranger, Magiranger, Jetman, Dairanger, and Liveman for when you finish Gokaiger. |

@Samurai - I'm up to Episode 9 now, although I think there's like 50+ episodes to Gokaiger right? It might take a bit. I'll look into those once I do finish it though, thanks. One thing I enjoy about Gokaiger (and this is probably true for all of the other Sentai series) is that they don't stand around talking all the time. When the bad guys show up they just transform and immediately open fire, so there's very little of this standing around and discussing the morals of the bad guys plan or similar nonsense. I saw another episode of Megaforce today on TV and it seemed so much more boring in comparison (and the episode I saw was supposedly the 'season finale'). |

Well, Gokaigers are pirates after all. Of course they quickly engage in battle, right? xD gokaiger have 50 eps i think, plus one movie and two more crossovers. |

| Sadly, MegaForce isn't living up to what it could be. The first half seems to be an attempt to recreate MMPR. I'm sorry but it just gives off the feeling that Saban is trying to go back to golden days. PR Samurai had somewhat the same feel to it. As much as it hurts to say this, if the season after Super MegaForce tries to reprise the MMPR formula, then I'm probably gonna quit the franchise all together. Seeing this much of a blatant nostalgia cash is giving me a headache. I know its an anniversary season but the first half so far has just been gaining hype via MMPR syndrome. The writing is painful and I'm predicting massive pacing issues for Super MegaForce. I know its only had nine episodes so far but it being split between two years really isn't helping my mood and only serves to drag the series out. |
