Anyway, they apparently were once a group of scientist, studying monsters in order to prevent them from rampaging... although when they finally found a way to control it, some of them stole all the data and ran, tempted by power. The next day, remaining scientists were slaughtered by monsters... Hono: Where can i find them? Lian: I don't know... Their whereabouts are even more classified, so i don't have such information. Hono: Who has? Lian: Dunno... probably some big shot of underground society knows, but i don't. Hono: I see... i thank you for valuable information. I'll keep my part of promise. ~Hotel-25th floor~ The King Wyvern escort them to the 25th floor. A large room that was meant to be a restaurant have turn into the nest of the wyvern that attack this place. The surrounding is horrible as Night and his team enter, all the wyvern that is having dinner inside the restaurant suddenly stop eating. They look at Night and open a path, at the end of that bloody path is a man sitting on a table. Judging from his appearance, this man is tall, wears a white robe and black jeans. His messy hair cover his face but then he straighten his hair to the back and push his glasses. Kiba: "Welcome professor, welcome to this beautiful 25th floor restaurant....well it use to be, hehehe...now it is just an ugly wyvern nest" Night: "Who're you?" Kiba: "Hihihi...My name is Kiba....as you can see here, I'm a monster master, well you can also call me The Wyvern Master. I have the power to control the Wyvern" Dynast: "A Wyvern Master?" Lex: "What do you want?" Kiba: "Shut up...I don't have any business with the Guild's operatives. Actually...my target is you Professor Night Enders" Night: "What do you want with me?" Kiba: "3 years ago, you uncovered an ancient ruin of the Wyvern Emperor in the desert continent. The ruin contain the body of an emperor and his 4 ultimate Wyvern that suppose to be the strongest Wyvern ever exist. You record everything inside the ruin but unfortunately after a month, a tragic accident happen and the ruin was destroyed" Sylendra: "So what is it that you after?" Night: "The record of the Ultimate Wyvern, The Emperor's Ancient Scrolls and the Ultimate Wyvern sample" Kiba: "Hehehe...that's correct, an archaelogist like you is very hard to find. Yes I want all of that...As you can see, I manage to breed a special kind of Wyvern that is the King Wyvern, I get this data from someone that is stupid enough to let me hold of the King's Record..." Dynast: "Largo.." Kiba: "The he started to brag about another breed of the Wyvern...the Ultimate Wyvern, that's when I become interested to get my hand on this one but he said the only one that possesed the record is you..." Kiba raise his hand signalling his wyverns to kneel down and he jump off the table. He start walking towards Night and the others, but in the middle of the way, he stop in front of a table and pick up his cigarettes. He light one cigarette and look at Night offering him one. Night accept the offer and Kiba toss the cigarettes. Kiba: "Well, since you already know about what I want...this will make everything easy. I want all the record and sample from you...well for us Monster Master, we love to explore the world of the monster and my specialty of course..the Wyvern" Dynast: "what do you mean by 'us monster master'?" Kiba: "I'm not the only one monster master that exist in this world...there's more of us...and in ranking...I rank the 10th place..here" *show the X tattoo that represent no. 10 on his neck* Night: "I see" *blow smoke* Kiba: "Every one of us have different abilities and control different type of monster...but usually one can only control one type of monster..." Claw: "Wait...there's one in the subway that use various monster...not just one" Kiba: "Hahaha!...So you've seen my boss, you're lucky that you manage to see him. He is hard to track but among us monster master...he's the only one that can control various master" Night: "Kiba...it's clear that your intention in creating the ultimate wyvern is not a good one....what if I refuse to give you the record?" Kiba: "Hehehehe....then, you can say goodbye to these people....open the curtain" *clap his hand* A wyvern that kneel near the curtain stand and open the curtain. Under the light of moon, 3 person was hanged right in front the window. All of them seems unconcious. Night and the others can't help but show a worried face, it was Leona, Julia and Wasp. Night: "LEONA!!" |

Hono: Is there really a reason to knock her out. After all, she honestly answered all our questions, so i don't think there's any need for violence. And she's tied up anyway, moreover it was I, who tied her up... so she won't be able to undo it on her own. Kaze: Jeez, i already feel pity for her... being tied up by Hono... i don't want to experience it ever again... Hono: That's only cuz you was... well, enough arguing. Anyway, this way at least she'll walk on her own. Or is there anyone who wants to carry her? Well, Kaze'd do it if she was cute like Alisa... Kaze: Oh yeah, if it's someone cute and small - i'd carry three or four at a time. Hono: Jeez... well, anyway, i'm against it. Don't worry, all of them are still alive but for how long...it will decision" Night: "Let her go!!" Kiba: "The record first Professor....I want that thing first" Dynast: "Night..." Night: "I don't have it on my body..." Kiba: "Then go get it, don't worry...I'll wait but remember this every 5 minutes pass...there will be a new scar on those 3 body. If you want them to be alive when you return, please make it fast okay?" Night and his team turn around but Kiba then suddenly Kiba said something Kiba: "By the way....just for a reminder, you have to face all the Wyvern outside this room on your own, I can't stop them from searching their prey....cause that is their order. So, goodluck...hahahaha!!" Night and his team run outside the room and as Kiba said, outside, the Wyvern is flooding the hall and they're searching for something to eat. Night charge his whip with burning energy and release a straight burning thrust to open a path. He then run towards the stairs and head to his room. |

Hono: Well, considering your crimes - your debt'll be pretty big. Lian: It's still the best of options i have. Kaze: What's this Prisoner's Transmitter? Hono: The guild will implant a device inside her body. With it she won't be able to go against the guild. Kaze: Magic? Hono: No, i think it's sorta connected to radiowaves... hell if i know, it's one of the guild's secrets. Kaze: So, what's with this transmitter? Hono: After this she'll be a temporary member of a guild. Depending on her crimes she'll have a debt to pay off to the guild. She'll have to pay off this debt by doing missions for the guild. She has the right of choise of the missions, but if she won't do any of them once a month... in case there are reasonable missions avaliable... well, anyway, in this case her debt'll be increased on 5%. In case she won't do any mission in half a year she'll be imprisoned for a year. After a year she'll have another chance. With this transmitter she won't be allowed to leave the city unless the mission depends on it. Well, the guild will observe her every move... After she pays off the debt - they'll remove the transmitter and she'll be free again. I'd say they'll give her a debt of about one million gold. Lian: How much was the reward for capturing me? Hono: 30000 if i'm correct... Lian: Whew... i'd take several years to pay it off then... Hono: It provides partial freedom. And it's anyway better than imprisonment... moreover, we might need you soon. Lian: But how would you do it? Hono: Oh, it's easy... WE'll give the guild a quest to investigate it... So you'll just accept our quest and get the reward. Easy? Lian: You have the deal... depending on how much you'll pay. Hono: Heh... We've left the alleyways. Anyway, i suggest we'll catch a taxi or something. I don't want us to be seen walking around, carrying a woman. |

Along the way, they use Sylendra's sleep cartridge to avoid meaningless fight and continue running along the hall, but even with the sleep gas, the effect is only temporary, it won't be long until all the Wyvern awake. Night: "Lex....how long do you think the reinforcement will come?" Lex: "45 minutes at least....if the Guild change their mind, they won't be coming here at all" Dynast: "How about the military?" Night: "They won't stand a chance against these type of enemies. Coming here is the same as committing suicides" Nakamura: "Night, my sniper team get the vision on Leona and the others but there's nothing they can do" Sylendra: "Night, this my last sleep cartridge..." Night: *take the cartridge* "Okay..." Nakamura: "Lex...we can use the distress signal right? Sending it to the HQ, they have no other way but to send someone here. Send the Class S signal" Lex: "You're right! I forgot about that...let see" *Lex send a S class Distress signal to the HQ* |

If so - i was helping out then... but well, who knows... maybe it wasn't you. Hono: I think it wasn't... that guy's name started on G or something... well, maybe Ocelot was there too, i didn't participate in it anyway. Hono and Kaze moved the Lian into the APC and then got in themselves. Kaze: Well, lemme say... from our point of view - those chairs are something unnecessary, the APC should operate without it... Hono: And from any VIP's point of view - those chairs are just too cheap... Although if i were to choose - i'd buy them - despite ordinary design they're comfortable and simple... i'd say you have a good eye for furniture - that's for sure. |

Operator: "Got it...Lex Silver, Guild's Agent Commander, Code no. 42113Silver, member of 3rd team. Location of the signal is....The Hotel...It seems that the place is being attacked by Wyverns..." Captain: "Lex...send a message to all Guild's operative on field...tell them to start heading towards the Hotel and support Lex" Operator: "Yes sir...TO ALL GUILD MEMBER ON FIELD...PLEASE HEAD TOWARDS THE HOTEL LOCATED AT THE 5TH STREET IN THE BUSINESS DISTRICT...OUR AGENT NEEDS HELP, I REPEAT...OUR AGENT NEEDS HELP. PLEASE PROVIDE THE SUPPORT AND DESTROY ALL THE ENEMY!!" ~Hotel-27th floor-Night's Suite~ Night enter his room and search his bag. He toss everything outside the bag frantically until he found a black case marked 'Wyvern'. Dynast, Sylendra and Claw are guarding the door while waiting for Night to come out. The hallway is full of Sleeping gas from Sylendra's cartridge and the body of fully grown Wyverns. As time goes by, Night came out and all of them head back towards the Bloody restaurant where Kiba is waiting for the item in his hand. 15 minute have pass...Night is worried. Night: "We've got what he wants but I doubt he'll let Leona and the others go after we gave him this. We need a backup plan" Dynast: "I agree, we need to make sure that Leona and the others save first" Lex: "Night, the guild got my signal, we can expect help from the other guild member...but it's going to take some time before they get here" Nakamura: "My sniper team said the team outside have decrease in number. About half of them....the Wyvern is pushing them back" Sylendra: "I've got a plan..." |

Hono: Guess you guys have lots to remember... well, as expected of two former soldiers and comrades meeting each other. Cat-lover and a revolver-lover, huh... well, in a way you have something, that connects you to both of us then. After all - i'm cat in a way and Kaze just loves revolvers... says they're the best firearms... Kaze: They are... just think about it - they have both firepower and precision. Not to mention them being small and light. Hono: You know i don't use weapon. Kaze: Yeah... come to think of it despite their power i can't use my ougi with them... Hono: Oh, you mean those... i've only seen two of them if i'm correct. Kaze: One... those were two different versions of one attack. Hono: Oh... keep your crossbow with you just in case you need them again. Kaze: Of course... by the way, isn't it the guild building? That means we've arrived. Hono: WOW, for you to recognize a building... impossible! Kaze: Hey, i'm not that bad. Hono: No, you're exactly THAT bad... you can't even find a way in a small village. AND, she's a receptionist, so most guild members have to report to her. Anyway, thanks for the ride. Lian! Lian: Yeah, yeah... i'm coming already... Having said that, Lian, escorted by Hono and Kaze got out of the APC and headed for the guild. Surprisingly, there was noone at the reception. Kaze: Where's Rin-san? Hono: Dunno. Rin(entering the building): Over here. Hono: Oh, here you are. Where'd you go? Rin: Just a few small paperworks. Is that your target? The one who attacked strong people? Hono: Yeah. Her name's Lian. And well... we request the use of Transmitter. Rin: Oh... but why? Hono: Well, she's not THAT bad of a person. And we had a deal - information in exchange for transmitter... and we need her in a way. Rin: Okay... you two, take her away and install transmitter. A couple of stout men took Lian away deeper into the Guild. Rin: So, what do you need her for? Hono: We want to infiltrate the underworld. They seems to have some information on Monster Drivers. Rin: I see... but you think she'll help you? Hono: We'll submit a quest. That way there's no problem? Rin: You're right... and you'll both benefit from it... nice idea. Yeah, i'm kinda interested in those Monster Drivers as well, so i'll pay one quarter of the reward for you. Hono: Thanks.
