you can found the orb on the left part of main menu. you will get orb after you finished certain of char problem/route.this orb will decide you can play after story or not. to unlock after story you must get 8 orb from misae,tomoyo,kyou,kappei,kotomi,sunohara,koumura,yukine, bnd play fuko then nagisa route in the last. but 1 orb will dissapeared for mking wish for fuko

No i don't mind telling how much i spent on this. I ordered from cdjapan.com & each DVD was about $40, so if you do the math it's close to $350. But being a huge fan of the game/series it is worth it in my mind.

The signatures were done than copied onto the booklet. The book is about the size of a manga graphic novel. Fairly sized.

That's great you are giving the game a try. The game is indeed deep & without any walkthrough it took me close to 6 - 8 months to complete. I tend not to use any walkthroughs cause i feel it lowers the fun of it & overall experience. I haven't played it in a long time since i already uncovered everything. I got the game when it first came out in 2004, the last time i played it was in 2006 or so.

In accordance to size of each scenarios, the largest of course is Nagisa's, followed by Fuko, Tomoyo, Kotomi, the sisters, Misae/Sunohara,Yukine etc are all roughly the same size give or take.

Enjoy the vn cause it's an experience that will last a long time...A question though, are you playing the game with the voice patch? The original had no voices but there is a patch for it, or do you have the latest release which includes the voices.

Actually no, I'm playing the voiceless version. I've never played a VN all the way through that had voices before, but all I know is I got through F/SN that way, and it doesn't bother me that much.

Any idea where I could find it? Or do you have to buy it?

Oh, and about those DVDs, holy cow you got them for only $40 each?? Normally cdjapan.co.jp has them for 50 or so each or more (for most DVDs)....dang...

Plus those DVD cases have holy cow awesome artwork... *drool*

Originally they were about $50 but when i ordered each DVD i used my points to lower the prices to around $40. The DVDs are the limited edition versions & are the only ones that has the special extras included. The regular ones don't come with anything.

The voice patch is about 1 GB in size so if you are willing to take the time to download it here is the link to it from isohunt (Clannad voice patch torrent). As you can see there is a fairly number of seeders so it may not take as long. Once you have it it's pretty simple to add it to your game. If you are having difficulties fee free to ask.

Yeah it's interesting to see how the seiyuu's sign their autographs. Always wondered how Ai Nonaka-san, Yuichi Nakamura-san, Mai Nakahara-san, etc autographs looked like. One of the DVDs included a box to hold all the DVDs as well the last DVD included a box to hold the booklets. Right now they are on my shelves, next to the CLANNAD game.

I'm fortunate to have thejob i do have but i do have to be careful of not going overboard. I keep a budget to keep track of how much i can spend.

Anyways found this link (just by searching for some CLANNAD info about the new season) for those who do not have this yet. I won't say what it is, you'll have to see it for yourselves. The actually link that worked that i tried was the last one. I already have this but this looks like it has been translated into english, ytto check but it looks that way. Size is about 250 MB.

I've played it already, the only difference from this one & the one i've played already is that this has more characters available from the start. The one i played before had only a few of the characters playable (mostly the early bosses) this one has Fuko the later bosses playable. Suigintou from Rozen Maiden is an awesome character, Fuko is cool to use, Ai Enma is super strong but super slow & she can't jump. Hatsune is okay, she's similar to a character named Mikuru.

Ah yes, took a while to dL for some reason, but I've played a bit of it already.
That Suigintou character is awesome, her moves are sweet!
The game isn't translated, I must've did something wrong or something though my thing is set to Japanese.
Maybe I gotta use that other option they've offered, who knows.
Since it was still in Japanese, I clicked what would've been the save option,
though some pop came up but only had an "okay" button or whatever, so I clicked it. Not sure what it said though.

I guess I'll just play it to mix around the characters, then maybe delete it later, who knows.
I might clean out the games I don't play anymore to clear up some space for anime, though I'm still in a good area (for now).

It seems there's also friendly fire in the game, haha.
Overall it's okay, like the other Tomoyo Fighter games.
I guess I'll play it whenever I'm bored, if I haven't deleted it already.

I played up to stage 13... or was it 9 today,
while I was waiting for an anime episode to finish dLing.
I chose the same girl again, and it doesn't matter what other player I choose to help me,
though he/she gets in the way and doesn't really help much,
though friendly fire is hardly a big deal since the damage is nothing.

I've pretty much gotten how the game works,
how to save and resume where you left off, etc.

During the Rider stage(s), that was an annoyance.
Not only that, I ran into a huge glitch where I kept falling off the edge (bottom of the screen)
over and over and over again, numerous times over.
I closed the game out so I wouldn't waste my credits,
but after that, I got back into it and everything worked out fine again.

I also learned a few extra moves that you can do,
so I might change around with characters and see who has the best moves,
but so far I'm so loving Suigintou, which reminds me I still haven't seen the anime yet. :P

Did you beat the game already, Izumo? I was wondering how many stages it had.

You're welcome! Unfortunately there is no patch for 'those scenes' in the game, so no such luck.

There are 14-5 stages in the game...or was it 13-5, i forget. I juat know it is in the teens. When you finish it there really isn't any 'real' ending unlike the other versions of the game. Well that is for the other characters other than Tomoyo &/or Sunohara. I haven't tried this version of the game with them yet.

I played & finished using Suigintou, Fuko, Kyou, the kill bill yo-yo gal, Kuma, Ai Emma, Hatsune, & girl with the broom stick. Ai Emma is super strong & you can breeze through the game with her, since she can't run/jump the baddies riding things can be a nuisance. Fastest time for me so far is 14 mins using Ai.

I'm trying to unlock Kotomi which i've yet to do so....:(

The 3rd option in the file deletes all your records so DO NOT click on that function!!! You lose all the characters you unlocked in the game!!! The 2nd option is the cheat. Type in the code during play & as soon as you go to a new area you can use that character.

 danchou just try to use tomoyo for thousand kick moves and sunohara for throwing knifes. wee . are you beating the game already in many times? :3

trying to beat the punk. and you will unlock kotomi based on the other forums.

[@Izumo] There's 14-5 (or was it 8?) levels/stages in the game.
I beat it yesterday with Suigintou and the one dude Fuko's sister married in Clannad. :P
I might choose a better side character next or just go by myself since it might be faster.

I'll try playing more later on and try to use different characters. Overall, it's kinda fun if you're ever bored.
I played the one featured mode where you fight like, all these bosses at once, that was kinda fun,
knocking them all out at once and whatnot. >:3

I don't get like, the gigantic, tall black dude, lol.
And did you see that weird Pumpkin shaped monster thing? O.o`

Well, speaking of Tomoyo in general, I just started on her route earlier today, and I have to say, she' a bit more advancing than I thought she'd have been...I've been really impressed overall.

...so much left to play though...

@ All who have downloaded the TF game
If you go to the Chinchilla Soft homepage you can download an update patch that unlocks several of the characters that weren't available at the start. I'm not sure how many it will unlock for you cause i already unlocked several characters before i added the patch.

Here is a screenshot of what i have done so far in the game.


I do know that when i added the patch it made Nagisa, Hatsune & that weird baby looking guy next to Nagisa.

Nagisa is so cute & cheap when you use her. First of all she can't run. Second her special move is adorable (she sings the dango song), some of her moves has her dad Akio come out and slash with a sword, another has Sanae drop a bun for health (or poison :P). She has this one move that she throws the dango family at the enemy. I say it's cheap cause you can spam it...the first few don't do much but when dad,mom & granpa dango come out they can literally demolish the enemy.

Hatsune plays exactly like Mikuru the other vocloid in the game. I mentioned Ai Enma is super strong, so is those chinese waitress characters, the girl in the bottom left corner is also super strong! Her special move can defeat bosses in one hit if the move hits right.

So far i'm having difficulties unlocking the 3rd version of Tomoyo which is her in the summer school outfit. The male characters basically all suck, they are slow some extremely slow. Some can't jump or run. I'll post another pick when i unlock all the characters.
