slowpoke here! i finally go to see CLANNAD!(well im still on ep 20,i tried to do a marathon last night but was too tired to watch the last 3...i mean what's the use of watching if i can barely understand what's going on ^^) and it's damn good!hahaha lot's of KAWAII moments especially with fuko's story... and i love how fuko appears randomly with a magical girl-like entrance the first two arcs (fuko and kotomi) kinda reminds me of kanon ^^(maybe because of fuko's situation and tomoya "forgetting" his past in the kotomi arc) and is it just me or did i just saw kagami and tsukasa in Kyou and Ryou? anyway tomoyo and the sister's arc seems kinda short...i was expecting a bit more on their story... so far so good...looks like the real treat will be on the second season... i cant wait... and finally...would watching the movie spoil the second season or not? |

@Z Well.. Basically because Fuko's condition resemble Ayu... and Kotomi Resemble Mai XDD No.. Watching the movie won't spoil the 2nd Season.. Well.. Maybe a little.. Just a little bit.. But not the whole part.. Since the one who created The movie and the series are different.. and so.. The Scene will be totally different.. (The Movie is somewhat less comedic than the series.. Tomoya Sure looks really gloomy in the movie, if you ask me XD) But I Suggest you to check it out XDD I Prefer the series though...  |

@zparticus:yeah many people also said like that, even there's some clannad parody in lucky star pic i found (kyou=kagami, ryou=tsukasa, konata=fuko,dll) & yes i agree with you about tomoyo & fujibayashi's arc, i also heard that clannad fans protested about this to kyo-ani cant wait for the after story...  visit aolas.soup.io for your usual dose of seiyuu pics |

finally saw the last 4 episodes of clannad it was sure worth the wait!hahaha i love the ending! even though it left me craving for more, i really enjoyed the perfect balance of comedy and drama in this series ^_^ I LOVE CLANNAD!hahaha @renma i meant storywise ^^..i read on how the movie and the series differs but will the overall story be spoiled? @hayate my thoughts exactly!kyou was barely fleshed out >.< i want more KYOU!hahaha mind posting that clannad parody in lucky star pic? thanks @kay nice vid!hahaha sunohara does remind me of that blonde boy in higurashi (forgot the name) |

@Z No.. Not at all.. Except.. For some Few minutes nearing the end of the movie, it shows The adult Tomoya and the others.. and some other spoilers.. Well.. On second thought.. It'll spoil the 2nd Season XDD I found this one while looking through koichan XDD Fuko pwning Nanaya Shiki >.> (Warning: You might want to read Tsukihime or play melty blood to understand the doujin XD)  |

@ Z-san heh...glad to see you aboard the CLANNAD bandwagon! I also have to commend you on 'power watching' the entire series to get caught up so you can participate in the thread. That shows some dedication & as a fellow CLANNAD fan i'm deeply moved by your desire & love of the series! *group hug!!!* Anyways only a month & some away until the last DVD is released & thus we will be able to see the 'last' episode FINALLY!...i've been saying that alot lately....i feel like the ROCK. If you don't know who that is....well i don't know what to say about that XP. I'm contemplating if i should get the PSP version since i already have almost all the versions released so far. I don't know if the PSP version has any extra do-dads that will make it worth picking up. The movie ending is just one of the possible endings that you can have in the story. It is basically the 'normal' ending if you just breezed through the game. The 'After Story' will expand on that ending to hopefully give us the 'True' ending of the game. I say True ending for Nagisa ONLY.  @ Darky-san I don't see what is wrong with the first one, if you were trying to do a pixelated one it is perfect! I like the 3rd version...the wireframe one looks cool as well. @ Hayate-san Those who complained about the shortness of Tomoyo's & the sisters involvement in the anime series must be fans of them. The anime follows Nagisa's story arc, expanding either Tomoyo's or the sister's arc will deviate from having a Nagisa true ending. Characters like Fuko & Kotomi have little influence in the overall ending for Nagisa, so fully telling their scenarios can be done. With Fuko she played a significant role in obtaining Nagisa's ending which is why her part in the anime is so large. Kotomi's arc is by itself (not including her 'love' ending), finishing it like i said will have no influence...it's a standalone scenario. The way the anime was done i had my doubts as some already know. looking back i liked how Kyoto handled the series. They did a bang-up job in trying to satisfy the fans of the overall story & not just each individual character. I have really high hopes for the 'After Story' arc but i will no longer have any doubts on how Kyoto will handle it from now on.  |

@izumo well i did swore to myself that id marathon the anime once it's done (though it did took me a month to get the dvd from the pirates,yes they sell the fan subs burned into dvds,but for dirt cheap prices i dont mind XD)just like what i did with kanon...only i started kanon midday and ended at night... and i have to thank you for introducing me to the world of Key and other visual novel animes in general!HAHAHAHA thank pal! ^_^ ROCK? the wrestler? anyway i hope this would be popular over western audiences so that one day i could play an official english translation of key games...*sigh* or i can always start studying Japanese >.< hahahaha |

So i guess that is the special episode that will come with the last DVD volume eh? So my guess of it being a recap episode was a tad off...XD Well this is a much better idea by Key/Kyoto instead of a boring recap episode. There are ALOT of Tomoyo fans out there so i'm not suprised by this move. My curiosity is if it will follow the visual novel or will it be a completely different story ala School Days OVAs. Maybe it could be like that dungeon crawler featured in the game :D That would be so cool!! *EDIT* Nevermind i found out that it is just Tomoya & Tomoyo going out on a date of some sorts. Not in the same timeline as the anime but in an alternate reality. It could well be a dream sequence. Less than a month away from the last DVD...i've been buying the DVDs & so far all the little extras that they added are making it worthwhile. For example each DVD had something different...like a pack of Ryou's playing cards, storyboards of the Opening credits, character designs, a minature Dango music box, a keychain, a box to house all volumes...etc. Now this DVD special is going to top it off!!!! Can't WAIT!!! *EDIT* That pic that Aolos-san posted reminded me of this... |

So the 24th episode with the Tomoyo route is out. I downloaded it immediately and found out that it's not subbed yet..... DAMMITTTT!!! But i watched it anyway, i liked it. And i liked Tomoyo. A LOT. She's such a great girl. You know, it's like witnessing I''s all over again if you know what i mean :P Here's a little something to motivate you to watching it...  |

ya the intro music got to me the first 5 months before the series came out too. I loved Clannad more than Air and Kanon I think. Im not sure i want to watch the after story unless its the story of ucchi growing up. Cause i watched the movie and i dont to go through the sad heart breaking moment again. i cried in this and Air theyre both sad o and maybe in kanon when the foxgirl dies.  |
