@DA : I agree with you, but the lowered prices that the PSN+ Isn't bad gotta give it that at least. I'm not much of a online player, so I would have been content just to play my games. I only access the store anyways :p I have no intention of jumping ship to the XBOX 360. It didn't appeal to me then and it doesn't appeal to me now.

Yeah, that's good to hear. :D Btw, anyone else thinking of getting Brink? The release date is closer than I thought so I gotta think last time if I'm going to pre-order. I'm bummed Portal 2 dropped in price so much... but hopefully I can beat it with someone (co-op) than trade it in!!!

Oh yeah, I know you and your brothers are getting it, so I hope we can play together. It's been since what, BF since we last played online together. You still have your mic? When do you plan on getting it? It comes out next Tuesday I think (the 10th), I'll have to recheck but I saw that date on GF. Hopefully online's okay with the whole PSN thing coming back, although I don't know a date when it's coming back yet. They had a press conference last night so you can check out the details on that. They said everything's okay, you might have to re-make a new password since I think it was reset, but no biggie. Maiku do you have Portal 2? I'm not sure if Jon beat co-op yet with his friend. My GF month started yesterday, so I gotta hurry up and send in inFAMOUS and EAMMA. I'll have to quickly speed rush as best I can on inFAMOUS though I'll do it on the easier level since I got the hard trophy anyways and you earn XP faster.

In the end, i won't switch to Xbox, I was just angry then haha. @DA: Maiku doesn't, but I have Portal 2. I haven't started Co-Op either so we could game after PSN is back up

I don't have Portal 2 and probably won't be getting Portal 2 unless a friend gives it to me for my Birthday or something (which seems fairly likely at this point in time). As for Brink, I'll be holding off on getting it until I return home, which will be on like May 26th. And I still have my mic. |

[@Haseo] Yeah I thought so, you're not an idiot. :D And didn't know you had Portal 2, how far into co-op are you in? You beat single-player too? I haven't started co-op at all, just after I beat the single campaign PSN ironically went down. When it's back up send me a PM and we'll try to play together. Do you have a mic? I don't believe we ever played online together, maybe MW2 in the past, I can't remember. [@Maiku] They're releasing a DLC pack in the summer, but I'll probably have sold it by then. Not sure if I'll trade it in, my one friend wants to play it maybe I'll sell it to him for 30-35. Who knows. I'll wait until later this week to see about Brink. If it looks interesting enough/more people get it, I might get it. I never find people to play with online, and I might cancel my GF subscription soon. We'll see. [EDIT] Pre-ordered Brink, can't wait for it next week. Checked out Catherine, and no pre-order bonus except for a nice CD and a book. No credit though. I'll wait a bit to see if I'll buy that or if I still have GF, rent it. ...and still no news for Team Ico bundle. :(

@DA: I just finished the single player right now, and this was one of the best, if not the best game I'm ever played. It's been a long time since I thoroughly enjoyed a game as much as this. The witty humour, the vivid environments, the gameplay itself-- it's all amazing. I have yet to touch co-op and I'm looking forward to it. The last time we played was with Jc, Izumo, Jon, and Maiku on the KZ3 beta, and yea I have a mic don't worry :P

Oh yeah that's right, I forgot. lol nobody was like using their mics then. I know I have you on PSN, what is your PSN again? I have a bunch of random PSNs that I keep forgetting which one is yours. Is it the DSG one? lol, too lazy to check and obviously I can't find out. I hope it's up soon though, I sent in my GF games yesterday so I should hopefully have two more this Saturday if anything. But Brink will be here soon, although as far as I know I'm the only one getting it on release date. Are you interested in it? The game looks really fun and hopefully has squad chat. You can get into squads or like 7 I think so possibly. The story seems like your cliche war, this team vs. that team plotline, but online seems fun, plus you have to love the customization you get and different pre-order bundle packs. I got the amazon one. About Portal 2, yeah the voice acting was really good, smooth, and so natural. I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially when Glados joins you. Wheatley has a really good voice actor as well, whoever he may be, he deserves that paycheck. And yeah, immediately when PSN is up let's set up some dates and try to beat it together. I'm not sure how co-op works though in terms of the trophies, where as you just beat the levels and get the level trophies. I know there's some where you'll have to work intentionally to earn them but doesn't seem too difficult. It'll definitely be better with mics for sure, communication is a must. I saw some of the levels, so it's gonna be a few challenges as well. lol with Brink to my collection, I'll have 3 games, though I want to beat Portal 2 immediately so I can trade it in while it's still around 30. Also I'm guessing when PSN is up again, the PSN+ thing starts for everyone? Though I guess it'll be easy to find out cause you'll have the icon on your PSN profile card on the friends list.

@DA - I still think that's a good pre-order. You should see the Love is Over Deluxe edition they just announced though. You apparently get stuff like the pair of boxers that the character in the game wears. Looks pretty silly. Also, me and my friend did finish Portal 2 Co-Op. If you still want to play then I am up for it, although I will be selling it off to a co-worker soon. Another co-worker has it borrowed right now while I play her copy of Batman: AA, but the PSN won't be up until later this week anyway so it isn't that big of a deal.    |

Oh yeah, I just googled it and saw! That's a lot of stuff. Wondering if that comes with the CD/Art Book already though. I don't see that offer on amazon yet, so it'll probably be offered soon. If at the same price, that'll make me pre-order it. lol, I'll wear the boxers maybe not the shirt and not sure about the pillow case. At first when I saw the pizza box, I was like theyre gonna send you a real pizza but no. T_T Also, the game has online co-op apparently, that's really interesting. And yeah whatever's the case, I'll play with anyone available. How much of the co-op trophies did you get? I just want to beat it and sell it off myself as early as possible too. If it comes down to beating it first before playing Brink, I'll do that, sell it, then start Brink. I'm still check when PSN's gonna be back up.

The next Assassin's Creed is Assassin's Creed: Revelations woohoo The game will feature all three of the series' major characters so far, Altaïr ibn La-Ahad, Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Desmond Miles. The game will be the first major installment in the franchise in which Altair is a playable main character, since the first game. The game is being described as the last chapter in Ezio's story, following Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood both of which were closely linked in terms of story. It will take Ezio to the city of Constantinople (now known as Istanbul), at the peak of the Ottoman Empire. The game will also continue Desmond's story in the modern day following the events of Brotherhood.    |

Yeah this info was leaked, but no biggie. Game of the year I'd say. However I'm a bit skeptical on the three characters parts. Not sure how that'd play out. Only cause we don't know where the current setting (time wise) will take place. Desmond's wherebaouts are unknown, Brotherhood's ending left a lot of questions (like every AC does). I'm sure we'll find out more info around E3 this year and I'll look forward to it. Also Ubisoft confirmed earlier that there was going to be a new setting and character. As far as your post, the new setting seems right but unless they mean using Altair again, I'm still puzzled. I had a hunch that it'd be more about the Russian part (or the Soviet Union at this time), cause in the comic book series, it takes place there and also the e-mail messages from Brotherhood. I'll wait and see more info but yeah, definitely excited even more for it. It's gonna be intense and hopefully the last AC. On another note, PSN is not up yet. Guess it might be up for me later tonight or something, I'unno. Anyone else get on?

Yeah it's 5:30+PM and nothing. I'll check later, no big deal if nobodys on to play Portal 2 which anyways. I think one thing they said was that the store won't be up right away. Besides the commendation, they're adding stuff to the store for free, but I think they're taking a bit more of an extra step after the whole incident. Today was the day PSN "was going to be back online" but maybe it's just in waves or something since PSN entirely was affected. I checked my credit card and luckily nothing was used or stolen or bought. I suggest you guys do the same as well. Other than the update which makes you change your passwords, I won't have my friend's PSN+ account anymore. :( (XD) Although I plan to milk PSN+ for free whenever they start it. Cause Brink is coming next week and I'd like to play that online. But my next GF games were sent today, so we'll see... Hopefully they add decent games cause the ones that are for free are really... dull. But I know at the least, they're trying to take small steps since the hack so I don't blame them. I'm just hoping they add quality stuff when we get the free PSN+ month like avatars or smaller games with trophy support. Those are really the only thing interesting to me cause PSN in general has a lot of spam material. More on E3, I think Sony's going to be huge but it depends when they release the Ico bundle. Cause every Sony fan, at least me alike, are waiting for that bundle dyingly. Also Dice will most likely show more Battlefield 3 footage, and maybe more sneak peak at AC3 (AC:R) for Ubisoft's presentation. I remember last year they showed a few things, I think Brotherhood too, can't remember for sure. A lot of promise for Sony this year again, and Nintendo will probably have your typical good presentation. I don't expect anything interesting from the XBOX at all, just more shooters and probably Kinect games. Oh, maybe a surprise look at ME2? Maybe it's too soon. [EDIT] PlayStation Network back online very soon, says Sony http://t.co/byQSuBS via @AddThis I just read more around that it might be up next week instead of this week. According to CNET, they expect another hack-attack this weekend. Sony's in a tight pinch.

I'm interested to see what Sony will bring out at E3, especially since most of their franchises already have sequels announced (R3, U3, etc.). We'll probably see a lot of good footage for all of those (I'm especially interested in U3). I don't really care about the Microsoft conference, though I hope Kingdoms will be shown, and all those 'hardcore' kinect games, like the one by the guy who made Panzer Dragoon Saga (or whatever it was called). Number one most forward to for me will be Nintendo's. They're set to announce their new home console, Project Cafe. Word on the street is it'll be playable, so I can't wait to see some footage and to see what the hardware will look like. I expect to see a lot of sweet new titles for my 3DS, hopefully original titles and not remakes (hoping for a new FE, AW, Pikmin, some new IPs, and solid RPGs). The device is already a part of my daily habits, but I really only have one game, and as enjoyable as GRSW is, it certainly isn't any FE or Disgaea. 1 month away D: The suspense is killing me. |

Yeah I noticed this year is the year of the "triquals". Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3, Assassin's Creed 3 (Revelations), and more. But seriously, if PSN is down longer it'll definitely hurt their showcase. I've been reading articles from various sources online and user comments. Some user called in and said they might not be up until June, which I hope is not the case and can't be. Although it was 'scheduled' to be up yesterday, rumored of another attack, as I said previously, was spread on the internet. These hackers apparently are talking to CNET themselves but I don't think it'd be wise to attack again so soon, especially now that this has become a federal-FBI-world international case now. There's also people saying it's available in some areas of the world. PSN was up briefly yesterday but only for testing, although I don't like the way they're publicly explaining the situation and replying to customers and users, they're doing the smart thing by using extra time to make sure it's relaunch is safer than before. I just hope it's up at least this week, and fully up, meaning with new security!! I checked the price of Portal 2, and jesus christ is dropped down to almost 30$ already. Trade in price is only 2$ less, so what I might do is sell it, when it drops again, possibly buy it again, then sell it, though I'm worried it'll drop in trade in price again so we'll see. No way a game can cost less than what it's worth when traded in so we'll see. It's common for people to not have played co-op mode yet, as myself, and also with a DLC pack releasing in the summer it hopefully doesn't drop anymore. I just want to beat co-op, get whatever trophies come with it, than trade it in. Brink will be here next week and I also have GF as side dishes even though patiently sending in and waiting for games is a drag. Also note, some games might delay releases due to PSN being down. ME3 already said that. I've decided to trade in Portal 2, cause amazon switched the game price for some reason. Before the trade-in-price drops any lower than what it is now, I'll trade it in, however I'll rent it later whenever PSN is back up so we can play co-op. Hopefully someone has it still cause I don't know anyone else who might have it. I should've rented it from GF before cause it has no keep value. Although they said PSN will be up this week, whenever we can play Portal 2 I'll move it on top of my gameQ.

@DA - I'll probably be trading in my copy when I get it back from my co-worker. Not sure what I will put it towards yet though. Maybe I'll just put it towards my Love is Over version of Catherine. I bought White Knight Chronicles and Suikoden: Tierkreis today. Decided to ignore my current debts and buy something for myself on my birthday. I also picked up Ratched and Clank: A Crack in Time earlier in the week and have been playing that lately. Don't know if anyone else is still willing to play White Knight Chronicles. I know I ask that pretty much every time I come here, but I actually went ahead and got the game this time. Once I get started on the game, I would love to play with anyone that still has interest in it. I will be starting at the lowest level though. |

I really don't want to be the one who has to tell you this, Jon, but I think WKC2 comes with WKC remastered. I'd play WKC with you, but PSN is currently down, and by the time it's up I'll be knee deep in finals. |

[@Jon] Hmm, where are you trading it in? Gamestop or Amazon? Tell me what you get for it if Gamestop. I sent my copy in over the weekend so in a few days I'll have it added to my online trade in account. 28$ is fair for it now. Brink comes tomorrow so I'll be happy trying this new shooter out. I played Terminator: Salvation, zomg the worst game (or one of the top five worst) I've ever played. >_<;; I also tried BB:CS and I'm gonna send both of them back this week or tomorrow. I'm trying to still play Homefront from GF but every time it's available I have games rented out then now when I'm about to send them back it's back down to "low" status. I really want to try it out, though my hopes might be a bit high. Still trying to get the Sly collection as well and MvC3 to try out. Ratchet and Clank is fun I have that game on my GameQ as well, I'm sure I can plat that possibly if I ever try it.
