The series sure ends to quickly.. Well, it's obvious that they only make the anime until episode 12 coz if they continue to make more episode of Sekirei, I bet that the anime will surpass the manga's story.. So that's why they make season 2 so that the author of the manga have time to think the next storyline for Sekirei.. But anyway, does anybody here know when will Sekirei 2 be airing.. I'm guessing that maybe Sekirei 2 will be announce airing next year..  |

Probably this winter or early next year is what i expect the new season to air since they did already show a trailer for it. Here: This season will continue where the last left off, obviously which hopefully adds more content that were in the original manga. Started reading abit of the manga & it's really a fun series to follow. There is alot of cool things that happen...looking forward to seeing it in the 2nd season. Love to see "Landlady" Miya-san in more of a role...seeing the trailer in the beginning where she shows her power!!! WOW!!! She's my fave character followed closely by the oh so adorable Ku-chan!!!  |

How far have you dug into the manga, Izumo? I always wanted to get more into it, I did read a bit of the first Chapter some time back just to see the comparison. So the "follow up" will be called "Pure Engagement", aka the second season of Sekirei, interesting. It better be good though, but I hope it's longer. There's only a few titles I end up saying I "love" and continue. Hmm, I wonder if there's a game title for this series.

Well DAngel-san i have read up to the end of volume 6. The first chapter of the manga was the last episode of the 1st season. In the volume Minato acquires another Sekirei among other things. You can read it for yourself here: http://www.onemanga.com/Sekirei/ It's translated which is the great thing about it however it's a shame it's not downloadable. Judging from what i read i think this will be as good or better than the first season...the first was like a character introduction. The 2nd will probably be more climactic with loads of battles. I saw a beach omake chapter while i was browsing...expect to see that either in the series or as a DVD extra. If something like Ikki Tousen got a fighting game made i don't see why Sekirei won't have one also. |

The offical website updated recently which now includes samples of the opening "ç´„æŸ I'm with You (Yakusoku I'm with You)" & ending "SURVIVE BABY SURVIVE!" themes for the new series. There is also a new PV that features the new songs as well. November 4th is when the CD will be out! The songs sound just as good as the ones from the first series. Well at least the first 2 mins or so before the cast resumes the show. *EDIT 2* Well i guess there is a video game made for this series as well, it looks like more a visual novel rather than some action beat'en up. The music is pretty good, I love it. rofl, he had a baby, with Kuu-chan!?!? O.o` I'm exciting for this Spring line-up. As always, I'll be watching my most anticipated titles.
