Do you want a fight!!!???" sia took out her staff Rou: "SIA!!" grabbed sia and dragged her, Sia: "Let me fight him!!! let me!!!" Rou hugged Sia from behind so she couldn't escaped, but Sia still resisted to calm down, so Rou tighten his hugged Rou: "Hey!! calm down!!!" eventually sia stopped moving Rou: "phew...at last" but then sia's hand touched Rou's arm Sia: "maybe I should do this often Rou-sama, to get a hug from you" Rou: "!!!!!" Rou let go his hugged but then Sia: " Let me fight him!!! let me fight him!!!!" Rou: "SIA!!!!!!!" Sia: "alright... i'll stop..... but could you hug me again?" Lots of things to type combined with lots of homework and studying for finals might slow down my posting time up until summer) (Here's an explanation of why I was pushing for people to have more than 1 character. You'll see that I'm using the system in the post below, but it's optional to use it for this fight. Reading through it is highly recommended~!) About Vanguards and Support Characters; Switching, Support Attacks, and Support Defense actions ~Fighting Battles: The Vanguards and the Support~ When a player has more than 2 characters in a battle, for the sake of not having a player have to post multiple times in a single round, the characters in that player's control is broken into a vanguard and support team At the start of the battle, you'll list out whom you want to have as the Vanguard and whom you want to have as your support character. Like this: Eguor Traeh (Vanguard) HP 80/80 SU 45/45 ATK 35 MAG 25 DEF 20 SPD 18 Kanna Kuubashi (Support X3) HP 40/40 SU 60/60 ATK 15 MAG 30 DEF 15 SPD 16 Youoh Suohtoma (Vanguard) HP 90/90 SU 50/50 ATK 25 MAG 20 DEF 15 SPD 24 Target HP: Inf SU Inf (other stats not needed) Your support character goes behind the Vanguard character. In this case, Kanna. Youoh can also be a Support character along with Kanna, but I decided against it, since she's important for offence, so she's a Vanguard. Youoh->Eguor->Kanna->Target In the middle of a fight you can switch between your vanguard and support characters. In this case, Kanna can Switch with Youoh or Eguor. But wait! Did you notice the X3 By Kanna's name? That's the Trade Counter (TC) it expresses the amount of rounds it will take before Kanna can switch. ~Three Turns Later~ Eguor (V) HP 80/80 SU 45/45 STatus: Okay Kannna (S - Ready!) HP 40/40 SU 60/60 Status: Standby Youoh (V) HP 12/90 SU 30/50 Status: Critical! Youoh: *holding one of her shoulders* Kusou.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Uh oh! Youoh took a good amount of damage in those three turns. It's Youoh's turn. Kanna's TC counter is done. So she can switch. ATK Options: ATTACK/GUARD/SKILL/ITEM/SWITCH/RUN Youoh->Switch->Kanna Kanna: *runs in front of Youoh* Youoh: *runs off the screen* Kanna: Ikuyou!!! Eguor (V) HP 80/80 SU 45/45 Status: Okay Kannna (V) HP 40/40 SU 60/60 Status: Alright! Youoh (S - X3) HP 12/90 SU 30/50 Status: Critical! Now Kanna's on the screen. When you do the switch command at the turn of the battle, the Support character takes the Vanguard's place, and can then do an action... So... Kanna->ATK->Target Kanna: *pulls a rubber ball out of her skirt pocket, and throws it at the target* Target took 15 Damage! Kanna was able to do an action in youoh's place. Next turn, Kanna will be able to perform another action in her usual turn-spot after Eguor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Once again, it's three turns later. Youoh's been in the sidelines, and has gained a bit of energy, why dont we look? Eguor (V) HP 80/80 SU 45/45 Status: Okay Kannna (V) HP 40/40 SU 60/60 Status: Alright! Youoh (S - Ready!) HP 12/90 SU 36/50 Status: Critical! You notice some of Youoh's SU points got regenerated? Of course! Every round, all Support Characters Regain 2 SU points. Pretty nifty, eh? The switch command isnt the only way you can switch. A Support can switch with a vanguard when the vanguard is attacked, or right after a vanguard attacks. Let's just look at this example... Eguor->Atk->Target Eguor: *runs towards the target* Ghh-... *thrusts his fist into the target* Target took 35 Damage! Support Command->Youoh Youoh: *runs forward, and strikes the ememy* Target Took 25 Damage! Eguor (S - X3) HP 80/80 SU 45/45 Status: Okay Kannna (V) HP 40/40 SU 60/60 Status: Alright! Youoh (V) HP 12/90 SU 36/50 Status: Critical! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you can see, the target took a total of 60 Damage! When you do a "Support Attack", a support character will do a normal attack after the vanguard character attacks. After that, the Support takes the place of the vanguard, and the vanguard goes into support. Pretty nifty! The final command you can do with switching is the "Support Defend" In this, the support character goes in and takes the place of the good guy defending. So... lets see... three turns later. Eguor (S - Ready!) HP 80/80 SU 45/45 STatus: Standby Kannna (V) HP 40/40 SU 60/60 Status: Okay Youoh (V) HP 12/90 SU 36/50 Status: Critical! Target->Attack->Youoh Youoh: Wait! The Target can attack!? Support Defend->Eguor Eguor: *runs infront of youoh, and raises his arms in defense* Target: *falls on Eguor's foot* Eguor took 1 Damage! Eguor (V) HP 79/80 SU 45/45 STatus: Standby Kannna (V) HP 40/40 SU 60/60 Status: Okay Youoh (S - X3) HP 12/90 SU 36/50 Status: Critical! As you can see, an attack averted thanks to Support Defend. When you do a support defend attack, the Support will come in, and take the damage. When you do any of the support defend actions, it's a race against time to declare you do the action before someone else posts. Or else, the support action is null and void. Also, when you do support defend, it's up to the person who states that they used it (As in you) to re-do the calculations. Other Notes: You can only do this with your own characters. You can do the support/switch commands with others if you have their permission. Can only be done with people with more than 1 Character under their control. (Eg. Kay, Key, Me) Using this system is optional. Unless otherwise stated when the battle initiation post is written. (Usually, it's when there's a lot of characters in a single battle) MAKE SURE TO WRITE DOWN WHO YOU ASSIGN AS YOUR VANGUARD AND SUPPORT IN YOU CHARACTER PROFILES. Those will be used to refer to who to put as vanguard and support at the start of a fight in the attack initiation post. After performing a "switch" the new Vanguard character's turn slot goes back to it's normal turn place (Eg. After Eguor in Kanna's Case) the next round. The Standard for the TC counter is 3 turns. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Girl's dorm, front desk~ Liza: *looks at Senna* Sure! @ugo hahahah you're right, the enemies rather weak, anyway if i want to make Sia and Rou both vanguard, that mean either Sia or Rou has to switch with other player right??? or i can do them both as vanguard??? well initially Sia is support, but some skill later on in my mind is status buff, so..... how do i do that?? @ Key: If you do put one of your characters as vanguard, and another as Support, you can only switch between rou and sia. to switch with another player character, you'll need the permission from that person to do so. For sia's latter status buffs, just give me a proposal on the skill via PM. I cant name all the possible types of skills, only make calculations on ones that come to mind or are presented. Finally, yeah, if you cant see the battle initiation post when you scroll down the page after hitting reply, you could re-post the stats. You seem to have the right idea on the Turn Switch counter. Sia's normal turn place has already been gone over, so the TC is knocked down to X2. When Eguor finishes his turn, and Kanna's usual spot is gone over, her TC counter will also be down to X2 turns till she can switch. @ All: Make sure when writing down your characters su and hp amounts make it XX/XX. Senna was known as the Ice Wind Senna and I was called Asuras the Flame Demon... *looks in the distance as the other female students walked right past them, laughing a some silly joke* Asuras: but the Headmaster was kind enough to give us a second chance by getting us recommendations into this Campus...and that's how we got here ~Living room~ *rummaging through her bags* Senna: ah, found it...the Basic Crystal...Asuras took this off of Berserker after getting expelled...I thought I'd never see him using it again...he should just call it by it's proper name though... *zips up her baggage and returns to the front desk* ~Girls dorm, front desk~ Senna: hey, Asuras, I found the crystal Asuras: ah, thanks! *takes out his gloves and reattached the crystals* Asuras: never thought I'd use them again..i wonder why Berserker doesn't accept any other crystals but this one...
