Hmm...right now, Caramelldansen is pretty addictive, but I think the 1 anime song i have listened to most is: Nakushita Kotoba by No Regret Life (one of the Naruto endings) though currently I am also addicted to I Wanna Be by Stance Punks (soul eater ending) EDIT: I thought I would add this, even though it isn't anime. The Soundtrack to The World Ends with You is incredible, I wouldn't be able to pick 1 song from it over the others. EDIT2: Spelled Caramelldansen right. |

Just about every song made by FUNTA and Under17. Both have a similar style fast paced hyper techno-pop tune with singers that have impish munch kin voices. FUNTA songs Kao Dekai (Dr. Slump movie) S-U-K-I (Popotan ending theme) Wake Up Angel (Pitaten opening theme) We are all Dreamer (Pitaten) Sunao no Mama (Nanaka 6/17) Under17 Popotan (opening theme) Gemstone (Popotan, in collaboration with FUNTA) Magi-Ku Ganbare Tama-Chan She Know Be Nostalgia |

Wana and Daybreaks Bell are both stuck in my head currently. Unfortunately they are vying for space with Can't Touch This and The Time Warp. Is confusing. |

Just today, I was more than pleasantly surprised to find all 8 albums of MOSAIC.WAV in of all places, the US edition of iTunes. This is for those that likes Gamewave (a new wave of Electronic that is inspired from video game music) with anime inspired chipmunk or munchkin vocals, characterized by insanely high energy or hyper style---call it Magic Girls meet Electronic. In Japan, its either called Techno-Punk or Akibapop (short for Akihabara Pop), and you may have encountered the type from the music of Under17 and FUNTA (themes for Popotan, DearS, Pitaten, Nurse Witch Komiugi, Nanako 6/17, etc,.) I would probably say the song that best represents this collection is "We Love Akibapop!" I was also surprised to see in the US iTunes store, recent albums by "Halko Momoi" which is what Haruko Momoi now goes under, formerly of Under17. |
