thanks a lot gendou-san. Yeah I know. I'm really bad at english. I'm a Filipino. [Of course from Philippines. ^.^] And I don't like English subject. But I do love english and want to learn more about english and the language itself. Thanks again gendou-san. [edit], Okay, another stupid question Gendou-san... Question: It says in the Anime topic in the forum said 'Talk about anime.' But what if a thread says [This is not existing though. Just thinking] 'What if [game name] be converted to an anime?' or something like that, is it against the rules? Since there's a game involved isn't it be moved to Games or Others topic? [Again, I did read the FAQ but can't find it there or not read thoroughly.] Thanks in advance Gendou-san... |

1. Of course you aren't requited to donate in order to download, the very word "donate" implies a voluntary action. If you had to send money to download, it would be called "paying". This is a free website. 2. You may choose any name you want to put on your avatar. That's why it's called a "nickname". It's not your account name (but it could be) or your real name (but it could be) but the name you want people to call you by. Lord of Flames, you seem confused by common English words. Invest in a thesaurus.

Gendou-san... I know this is a stupid question but... Question: Is it okay to you that some [including me.] users download musics here without donating? [Despite that I want to donate. the only problem is I'm just a kid you see. I'll be a high schooler this year. I cannot lend money from my parents since we had enough money for ourselves.] I'm just asking this out of curiosity because I think downloading here without donating something is like freeloading isn't it? And another stupid question: Is putting a different name to your avatar instead of your nickname disobey some rules? [I did read the FAQ but I think it's not there or I didn't read it up fully. If you would not want to answer, then just ignore this message...] Thanks in advance... |

1. I pay hosting fees out of my personal bank account, while donations are deposited into it. So, any difference comes out of my account balance! 2. Donations do, in fact, cover the cost, 9 months out of 10. Recently, with the recession, there have been a few months in a row that were well under. It doesn't help that I'm also looking for work right now. :P

@jaina- "What do you do if the donations don't reach the required amount?" With no ad revenue or affiliates the only way would be for him to pay it out of his own pocket. At $250+ a month, I doubt donations always (if ever) cover the costs. @Gendou- Come to think of it, has there ever been a month where you received enough donations to cover hosting costs? Can you remember the closest you've come to covering it with donations?    |

It's correct in theory, but that's the NICKNAME not the user name. The user name like the admin said is very tricky to handle.  |

If I remember correctly you can change your nickname anytime you want to. A nickname is something you chose and is easily applicable to change. For your username on the other hand. Think of it as having a game file thats really good but you dont like the name would you give it up just to get a new name? Did i get that right gendou?

15. It's possible, but complex. The username is the primary key of the user table, and there are many foreign keys.
