Hey thanks a lot. And also, if you want an avatar, I can get my lazy butt off the chair (not really) and make one for you. PM me your request with an image because I hate finding an image unless I'll use one of my own or find one myself. Until then, good luck making avatars for n00bs.

@Sukazu: If you have photoshop/image ready, they aren't too hard (the basic stuff anyways), but if it get too over elaborate, you could get over 100kb avis (and we all know we cant have that....). Take Kanayuki's sig for example. In image ready, you make "frames" or points in animation and long long they should stay around. In Kana's, its the sudden changing of three still images, each picture getting its own "frame" in the animation for what seems to be about .5 seconds. In mine, I have 5 layers (Background, Haseo 1, Gun, Haseo 2, and the text. Like in Kana's I want to switch between two frames also (Bgd, Haseo1, and Gun to the [unseeable] Bgd, Haseo2, and Text). I do this by taking two new frames, and set each frame with its appropriate layers, but I don't want a sudden change between the two images like in Kana's. That where "tween" comes in. By tweening between the two frames with 10 extra frame, image ready sets the opacity of each layer to go from 0 to its normal value or vice versa, depending on the layer, while not touching the Bgd layer because there is no difference in the Bgd of either frame. This give me that slower, smoother, transition. To return to the first frame, I make a now a temporary 13th frame with the first image's setup and tween again 10 frames from the second image to the third image frame and then delete the now 23rd frame (the temporary frame made earlier) and the animation will loop back to the first frame with that image information. After setting the times of all the frames and export settings, you "Save Optimized As..." as a GIF. So I guess if someone really wants animation, they could come to me for simple things. I'm still messing around with it to make it look better, but cant really do so much with the approximate 50kb limit. (BTW ~ I wasn't planning a long explaination nor do I expect you wanted one... I kind of got carried away...)

So straight and fast when I read it. Lolz~! Honestly, I did success with making avatar but I forgot how to do it. I thought you can do gif by just adding pic by pic. I never thing about layers at all. But then, I saw a tutorial and then got it that I should make layers. That's why I can do a gif. And talking about gifs, don't ask me to make one. I'm not that good in making one for everyone else. Even my current one is just experimental avatar. Ask someone else to do avatars~!! @ TOD Not sig, but avatar actually.

(Another long post...) @Kana: Good I wrote that well. The pic by pic idea works too, but yeah, placing them all on separate layers and alternating them is the easier way to do it (and to stay close to the original idea of animation). Some of my early attempts at animation:    Also, I mix up avi and sig often.... @Sukaku: Glad I could help. I basically taught myself the animation process in Imageready, so it shouldn't be that hard. @Dragonfly: That avi isn't that bad, but by technique, do you mean something like:  (Only because his image code was closest.)From the look at it, it takes quite alot of careful layering and arranging, a project I haven't tried nor I think I have the patience for... As for animation, this is a little advanced:  I was playing around with one avatar request's animation only to go over 100kb. Disappointing, so I'm sticking to the simple stuff. Recent Animations: Made for Kazuki:  ~ I took three layers, made stripes of different colors, and smudged them together into a cool "color mess", and it just tweens between them. Made for Edo-chan:  ~ Really basic, but it turned out really good. The background is a gradent and a "color mess" layer, and the animation is a tweening in and out of the Flamel Cross behind Ed's scarf(?).

I would like it to have Eureka from Eureka Seven, and Huey from the Boondocks. Could you also put the words "I never really cared... Until I met you." ? This would be fantastic! @ Dark Yesh, u are still good in it. Don't worry, even if u use Paint it still turned out great @ TOD Thanks to you, I finally able to make my current avatar and sig. Each layer have 5 frames with 1 second per frame. And you can do the sig Eureka's request. I'm going somewhere else this week so I'll be offline. The rest of u can take my place till I get back, probably on Saturday or Sunday. XD~!
