The triangle? That's always been One Piece, Bleach, and Naruto. I don't reach it,
but One Piece is widely considered to be the top of the triangle and has been for
years and years. Again, I don't read it, but its popularity among those three is
typically number one.

When talking about history in Naruto compared to Bleach, both have their share
of history. They both have a past and history that you can look at as being thought
out and whatnot. The difference, however, is what you pointed out; Bleach has
a lot of its story seemingly made up on the spot. Or at the least, Kubo allows
each arc to draw on new material.

Naruto draws on new material as well, but there's a lot in Naruto that comes up
from the past that the reader knows about on some level. The whole past with the
War, or when Nine-Tails attacked, or maybe the story of the first Hokage and the
fight with Madara, or things like Kakashi's past or tales of the old generations.

In Bleach you don't typically get that. Most things with villians draw on current
events, with some secrets of the past that get added in to serve as plot devices.

You didn't know about Ginjo or even that there was another substitude shinigami
specifically, but you could have guessed there was since Ichigo was given the
badge. It wasn't a personal connection you had with the former substitute/Ginjo,
but the fact there was a substitute wasn't shocking. However, in Naruto, you have
a personal connection with the past events -- because you see them in flashbacks,
or you simply learn about past events through characters talking about them in the present.

[Also, Naruto does have far too many flashbacks, in both anime and manga]

So while Kubo creates totally new villians and stuff each arc, perhaps connected
to the past and past events, they seem mostly random when compared to Naruto. That's
because in Naruto you have detailed knowledge of the past, of characters, events,
etc. You have a more personal connection with it than Bleach, and are forced to
recall/remember past events or characters (or you get flashbacks). In Bleach,
Kubo just brings out new stuff.

The major problem with what Kubo does, though, is he has been known to create
plotholes and cause some continuity problems. Things he does based on the past
seem to contradict things he has already said and done. That's why he gets a lot
of backlash from fans, and why Bleach's popularity/respect has dwindled.

LOL I can never type that much again, LOL.

For the characters and Ichigo's OP-ness, though, that's typical shounen. He should
have lost, based on the way characters like Ulq and Grimmjow were presented with
their power, but he didn't. He came back and out-dueled Grimmjow [which isn't
too bad. He did grow stronger] but then he was totally owned/killed by Ulq, even
after being stronger, but came back thanks to his hollow powers. That got a lot
of fans fuming with how it happened.

However, the same can be said for characters like Naruto. He's been owned and at
times should have died, but whether because of the Fox or something else, he lived.
Same for characters like Goku in DBZ, who is probably the best example.

Bottom line, Bleach is just like most other Shounen with it's obvious faults,
which are ones that even Naruto and One Piece have. The issue with Bleach, though,
is Kubo just appears to have things a lot more random than others. He employs a
lot more deus ex machina than other mangaka, and tends to contradict himself
with the story and plotlines, and even character power levels.

I still really enjoy Bleach though, and still enjoy Naruto, but I'm not as blindly
dedicated to certain anime/manga like I may ahve become as a kid. Being older,
you can see flaws in series like these. That doesn't mean you can't still like,
love, and/or enjoy them though. And I still enjoy them. ~

BUT BACK TO THE STORY RIGHT NOW FFFF. I GOT BLISTERS ON THESE FINGERS.

AND YOU'RE SO RIGHT. THEY TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT NEL, WHO HAD BECOME ONE OF MY
FAVORITE CHARACTERS. JUST FORGOT ABOUT HER.

This is what I was touching on. Kubo does things that contradict himself and
cause plotholes; like apparently forgetting about Nel.

It seems things are getting interesting after this weeks chapter. Some unknown
baddies delcaring war, and that guy who landed on Ichigo's bed before looking like
he's not an arrancar (based on what he says) and seems to use a Quincy weapon.

I'm guessing these are like Vizard/Arrancar, but are now the Quincy version.

Things are pretty random at the start of this arc. Should be interesting to see
where things go in the coming weeks.

EDIT: JUST WANTED TO ADD I DIDNT MEAN THIS TO BE SO LONG AND I CANT DO ANOTHER
LONG POST LIKE THIS AGAIN, LOL. LETS KEEP THE CONVO SIMPLE FOR NOW.... ;-;

(you're talking to the master of long-posts!!)

lol the "triangle" is lame now.

Naruto's history is already cemented in fact, we just started and learn about Naruto in the current generation.
The past Hokages, the previous 3 Ninja World Wars, past villains, those are all fact and in the past.
Of course right timing should be allotted to reveal those past battles and wars and characters which Naruto did better than Bleach.
Even Naruto had a ton of filler arcs however they were more or less annoying side missions.
A lot of Bleach's filler arcs were fake though since Ichigo doesn't learn any new moves ever he doesn't have moves to bring over lol.

The basic thing I'm trying to say is (to limit long posts) is that Naruto's past is fact and recorded history.
Their flashbacks too aren't as bad, they only come when a villain dies or someone like Itachi and Jiraiya.
Also Naruto's flashbacks come at the best moments especially during epic fights like the ending to Itachi vs. Sasuke (final).
Some of Bleach's flashbacks were made into entire arcs.

I hate made up stuff, I like when things are all laid out most of the time.
Even if Naruto has a million characters, they all existed in real time.
Finding out about them before or later is up to the time, but they've existed since the first chapter.
Bleach's character are clearly made up on the spot, there is no denying that.

I can care less about movies, they can just abandon everything and be more creative since it's a movie.

Even if it's Shounen, Bleach's main hero is Ichigo. Series like DBZ had more than one hero,
and arguable Goku was the main hero in the DB series but he's died a bunch of times and someone else had to step in which made things a bit fair.
If there's no Ichigo, everyone is screwed. End of story, end of battle, end of war.

Btw about Nel, Kubo called me and said she's at a daycare in Ichigo's town. She'll be involved later I guess.

The new villains seem to be Quincies, Ishida's race or type.
Things are a bit random, not sure why they're declaring war on Soul Society though,
however it's been explained before that the Quincy hate the Shinigami so who knows.
I always thought that they stay in their territory, the Shinigami stay in there's so not sure why war has been declared.

Also did you see the body proportion of that strange group that went into Yamamoto's space? Long ass legs. O.o`

P.S. For the sake of you I kept this post a lot shorter than what it had been originally. :)

Are you reading Naruto? Bump that manga thread to talk about it there so we don't talk about it here.

Naruto's is, for the most part, set in stone before events relating to those past
events come into play. There are plenty of times where there are new reveals and
new information, though, but Kishimoto does an amazing job tying things together.
Because of that, even if something is new, we can't really say for sure if it is
or isn't. Unlike Bleach, you don't see plotholes popping up or contradictions.

And, if you do [there have been a few in Naruto, as there are in most series] they
aren't near as glaring as the ones in Bleach.

For filler, I don't really count that. Especially in Naruto, the King of Filler.
If there's one thing Bleach does well, in the anime, their fillers are at least
entertaining. Albeit I don't watch either anime much anymore, if at all, but all
the filler I've seen between them gives Bleach the edge. Naruto just had toooo much
pointless filler, or 'fluff.' Bleach's filler always did have some elaborate story.

With Naruto's flashbacks and Bleach's, Bleach had the one flashback arc, Turn Back
The Pendulum, but that was actually pretty good. Not to mention, it wasn't really
a "flashback." It was given it's own story arc, and wasn't cued in from the present.

I think Bleach's flashbacks that take place aren't near as frequent, but with
Naruto's we're at least seeing past events we typically have some knowledge of.
In Bleach, aside from the Turn Bakc The Pendulum Story Arc, all flashbacks are
mostly things that are new.

With all that, I can get what you mean by new stuff. Personally, as a writer, and
someone working on a series of "light novels," I have things planned out in detail.
Events that happened in the past, present, and future. I like to have everything
connect properly and have that stability that the reader [and even myself] can rely on.

AND WHEN DID KUBO CALL YOU. WHAT. IN A DAY CARE?! CALL KUBO BACK AND TELL HIM NOT
TO BLOW THIS FINAL ARC AND DO SOMETHING GREAT WITH IT. FFFFFF.

I had thought they said somewhere early on that Quincies were extinct, minus
Ishida [another contradiction, Kubo?!] but I still think that they appear like
the Qunicy version of Vizard. With them thinking they were arrancar.

Or maybe its something like Quincies that became hollows in death and thus Arrancars,
or Hollows that became Quincies, or something ridiculous like that. We should
probably learn more this week.

To be honest, them declaring war so suddenly is a bold move on Kubo's part. We
know this is the final arc, but there was no real "lead-in" to it. Just straight
to them declaring war. We'll have to see how things go.

P.S. I shall look for that forum!

(here's that Naruto thread, and damn it needs a huge bump: http://gendou.com/t/9167&ent=882463#882463)

Just a few last things about Naruto while we focus more on Bleach, I prefer what Naruto did with its fillers and have a huge chunk of them at once.
Although of course later on things caught up a bit and they had to make a few more but only a few, unlike huge arcs like Bleach.
The Kakashi Gaiden was a neat filler flashback special where we learn about younger Kakashi and his team with Obito and Rin, and of course his sensei at the time, Yondaime Hokage.

The filler arcs were annoying yeah, they were just side quests basically of what you play in Storm 1 and 2, those annoying quests.

However they jumped to Shippuuden and it had a huge start (with the awesome OP at the time) and things were pretty much set from there.

I prefer that over what Bleach normally does which is story arc, filler arc, story arc, filler arc. It's inconsistent and makes fans like you and me, annoyed.

However since then Naruto has had no major fillers, it's all been focusing more on the war and the Kages and everything relating. Things are also finally heated up, too.

With Bleach now, I also think it's random these guys have just come out of nowhere (literally, since that's what Kubo does best, spoof~~~) and declared war onto Soul Society.
Reminds you of when Tobi declared war at the Kage Summit doesn't it? Though that was definitely expected of course. XD

These new guys are probably a fusion of Quincy and Hollow I suppose, their powers are definitely Quincy related because of their arrows.
Though Quincy in general were weak compared to the Shinigami so they must be Hollow related or so. Mask gives a hint of that though we're not sure.

lol thinking about it it's not a surprise since things like this have happened before.
I'm sure we'll get a flashback story explaining who these guys are, what their purpose is, why they declared war, etc.

That flashback arc to talk about the Vizards is one of the only needed arcs in the entire series.
I don't consider that filler at all since the Vizards were very crucial in the final boss fight against Aizen. Everything else like that little girl arc is ludicrous.

And yes, I called Kubo and he said he got distracted playing NSGen. WHAT!?

-------

Re: Bleach Manga (spoilers)
Link | by You're Not Alone! on 2012-03-01 16:56:15
I didn't mind the Bleach filler as much since it had some story behind it. When
it comes to Naruto, like you said, it's the same kind of side stuff fluff that
you would see in the games. I wouldn't mind a well-done thought-out Naruto filler,
but I don't really watch the anime for Bleach OR Naruto anymore. Mostly because of
filler, but I found the pacing really mind-numbing there for a bit.

If you wanna waste time, have some filler. Don't just make episodes full of
nonsensical filler every few minutes. That really just got annoying in both series,
even if I understand why they do it. It's the downside to running anime alongside
manga.

But yeah, centering on bleach now, it really is random with these guys. A bold move
considering how the fans have been reacting to Kubo/Bleach as of late. I wouldn't
even compare it to Tobi, considering that made perfect sense and was coming. This
is just random.

My mind is kinda like "WHOAH Damn" at the new chapter, though. Not every day you'd
see Yamamoto's Vice Captain get just -wrecked-. I don't think he's dead [It's
Bleach, what would you expect? Lololol] but his getting owned is an easy way
for Kubo to demonstrate these new villians and their level of power.

Without a doubt, these guys have to be Quincy-Hollow related.

But, MORE IMPORTANTLY.. You're telling me that Kubo is playing GENERATIONS?!
Maybe he's looking for new material for the final arc.. Hyuck, hyuck.

Here's a good question, is Ichigo stronger than Captain Yamamoto? He used GT again, not the final one though. ;P

Btw this is going to be pretty much like the Arrancar arc. You're gonna see a bunch of battles again and it's going to be all match ups like it was in Hueco Mundo.

Fill in my memory, Shinji and Kensei are Captains again, is there one more I'm forgetting or is there one still vacant?

-------

Re: Bleach Manga (spoilers)
Link | by You're Not Alone! on 2012-03-02 03:35:27
That's a REALLY good question. You would think Yamamoto, with how he is portrayed
as this all-powerful Shinigami, but it IS Ichigo who keeps saving the day. If the
old man's age has him unable to get the job done, then obviously Ichigo being able
to do it means he's stronger.

Damn that's hard, though. Yamamoto appears to be like Ichigo in terms of reiatsu,
since it seems he just has massive amounts of raw power, but even so I have to
say Ichigo.. I think.

It'd be different if we REALLY saw him fight, in something other than Filler or
a movie [even though Kubo oversees/works on the story for both] since his brief
work in the Karakura Town Arc isn't much to go on. Simply based on the fact that
it's Ichigo who gets things done, I have to say him.

Even though I think they said before that his power was so massive, they didn't
want him to do any fighting? Or something like that, lmao.

We may get an idea in the next few chapters. If he gets owned and [we know] that
Ichigo will eventually save the day, there'd be no question as to level of power.

As for the other Captain, Rose WAS Captain of the 3rd back in the day, and he
has become Captain of the 3rd once again. The Vizard have filled their old
roles [at least the Captain-level, minus Love who was Captain of the 7th back
in the day].

Re: Bleach Manga (spoilers)
Link | by devils-angel on 2012-03-02 07:29:39
Even now and I'm always going to bring this up, Ichigo can't be Nnoitra. Bleach is built on match-ups so Ichigo might be stronger/weaker than others.
Ichigo is the main character so he has to save the day, the Captain commander has to protect his troops and Ichigo is more like a independent soldier.

Captain Yamamoto I don't remember was ever really pushed and injured, he's like the General of the Army which in our ranks, head of all and commands his troops. Less action.

You can't even compare Ichigo to the others cause I'd never imagine them fighting to the death again like back in Soul Society the first time.
And all that was just a fluke, in my head at least so Ichigo is only the strongest when that's the only way...

I don't remember seeing Rose though I vaguely remember. Can't remember that well since last time I saw him, he got messed up bad.

-------

Re: Bleach Manga (spoilers)
Link | by You're Not Alone! on 2012-03-02 11:17:26
It is all about match-ups, no doubt, but Ichigo is also [I believe] far stronger
than he was when he faced Nnoitra before [then again, power level is all relative
in Bleach, so I can't say for sure].

Yamamoto is indeed the Commander and General of the troops, but like with Aizen,
he's got to get his hands dirty eventually. If he went all out against Ichigo, in
what would surely be some dream battle, it'd be a lot easier to see.

If he went all out, you would think he'd win, but I'm more on the fence than I
would have thought I would be. If you think about match-ups, maybe it just so
happens that Ichigo would match-up favorably against Yamamoto?

BAH. IT MATTERS NOT.

But yeah, it's Rose as 3rd, Shinji 5th, and Kensei 9th. I wonder what the others
have done for their roles..

Re: Bleach Manga (spoilers)
Link | by devils-angel on 2012-03-03 02:29:59
Ichigo had power to push Ulquiora and still lost (technically he won), he couldn't phase Nnoitra, who's weaker in terms of rank. Not one single scratch and was brutally toyed with.
He's only known for his speed and GT, it makes absolutely no sense to me how someone so one-sided of a fighter can be the leader of the entire series.
Other characters like Ichigo in other similar anime have more depth, more moves, etc. but Ichigo just gets by on luck because of his role as main character. He's lucky.

If you want to talk about technical skills, Ichigo has no kidou, he SHOULD'VE learned how to use Cero (if he still has his Hollow powers), though only one power slash of a move.
He simply can't loose (or die) cause he's the main character so technically you can't compare him to anyone, even Captain Yamamoto cause there's a realistic chance he'd die.

Aren't some of the other Vizards with Urahara? I thought what's her face, the short blonde short tempered girl, was on her way to the bath house or something before this new enemy showed up.

I'd imagine the stronger ones to be somewhere in Soul Society too since Gotei 13 disgraced themselves during the Aizen fight so they need their help for future battles.

-------

Re: Bleach Manga (spoilers)
Link | by You're Not Alone! on 2012-03-04 12:21:50
Ahhh, that's right, Hiyori might be with Urahara.

And it's been ridiculous that Ichigo didn't even learn some cero, minus his crazy
hollow-hax form. Not a single kido skill, when Kido have been vital to loads of
fights throughout the entire series.

He really is lacking in skills. I mean, some main characters get TOO many skills,
but he just has the one. That could fly in the first couple Arcs, maybe, since he
didn't even learn the regular GT until right before the Soul Society Arc and didn't
learn to use it until during, but still! At this point, as this is the final arc,
I have no idea if he'll ever get a new skill.

Probably not.

What I want to see now, is Toshiro owning. He's my hope, being my favorite character
of the series, and with his skills he shall OVERCOME THE NEW VILLIANS. MUWAHAHA.

It'll be fun to see how the Shinigami match up against the new foes. Though, we
still don't know how the Commander is going to fair. This week should tell a lot.

Re: Bleach Manga (spoilers)

Ichigo needs to be in Bankai form just to beat basic Hollow while Byakuya can fight against Menos with only Kidou.
Sometimes he toys with the enemy and only uses Kidou and dances around their pride before quickly killing them. :O

Yeah by now I doubt he'll learn a move, if he does it'd be some crazy super OP move that Kubo will pull out of his ass, like everything else in this manga.

We already saw Toushirou and I'm sure he's increased dramatically.
Renji said that he's been training to fight Aizen, so I'd imagine everyone else especially the Captains have improved a lot.
I wouldn't be surprised if Hisagi achieved Bankai, which I'd LOVE to see!!

-------

Re: Bleach Manga (spoilers)
Link | by You're Not Alone! on 2012-03-05 12:29:29
That STILL bugs me; the fact his Bankai is something he's always in, even with
basic fights. I get the fact his Bankai is "special" and due to its compact size,
it is speedy and can be maintained for absurd times with no strain, but still.

When you have a power-up you just constantly stay in, it loses some appeal. I think
Bankai, for Ichigo, has done just that. Sure, it looks pretty cool [mainly because
I'm a fan of most character designs that involve overcoats] but come on, let's
see some more normal Shikai.

Even though he IS always in Shikai when not in Bankai, and some could say that
makes him powering up to Bankai like others going into Shikai, but still. Using it
just for the sake of having him look cool or have a transformation with others is lame.

But yeah, we've seen Toshiro, but I'd like to see some more of him. It's the final
arc, and while we have a lot of time left, it's the last chances we'll get to see
him in action. We saw how a lot of the Shinigami improved, but I don't think we
saw much more than the tip of the iceberg from Renji, Toshiro, even Rukia, etc.

Shuuhei is up there on my list of favorites, too, so if he got Bankai it's gotta be EPIC.

Re: Bleach Manga (spoilers)
Link | by devils-angel on 2012-03-05 18:45:10
I honestly think by now Ichigo's bankai's ability is to have 5x strength, speed, and duration.
GT is a direct reiatsu move where he releases his reiatsu into the attacks,
so he could do a giant GT, pretty much a final GT like slash, with all of his power.

Although logically there are limits so I think that's where his hollow powers come in as a substitute for that weakness,
and the weakness of that is the duration though of course he's the main character so that's another substitute...

I think that's just how the system works in Bleach, although it's heavily broken.
Ichigo becomes stronger in the form that you fight in, remember my DBZ reference with SSJ.
Ichigo becomes stronger in bankai form even though his shikai is so weak cause he's simply always in bankai form.
And since he doesn't have the basic ability of even sensing other reiatsu he has to be in shikai form all the time because of his enormous storage of reiatsu.

If you actually look it up, there's a system chart on all the characters so technically you can see who'd be stronger than others.
Byakuya is pretty high on all levels making him well rounded though you don't need to see the chart to find out of course.

Ichigo's been defeated numerous times but only because he's the main character can he be portrayed as the "strongest", only because of that which breaks the system.

-------

Re: Bleach Manga (spoilers)
Link | by You're Not Alone! on 2012-03-05 21:38:32
There's a chart? Official? When was that last released?

and if it's in the style I've seen other series, then I get what you mean. Though
if it's like that, say Naruto's battle charts, they could still be debatable.

Also, hasn't Ichigo learned to sense reiatsu nowadays? I don't think that has
anything to do with his Perma-Shikai, either. That's just, like you said, due to
his enormous reiatsu forcing him to remain in Shikai. Like Kenpachi, oho.

Oh man, Imagine Kenpachi learning Bankai. I think there's youtube video parodies
of him learning Bankai and the world suddenly exploding, hahaha.

As for his defeats.. yeah. I would say it was like Goku, but in DBZ at least Goku
stayed gone -- or someone else was able to take over in his place. With Bleach,
it's all Ichigo all the time.

OH YEAH, You think we'll see anything from Karin or Yuzu [Those spellings are right,
right?] dealing with their spirit energy? I think Karin was showing in the last
Arc that she was learning to control her spirit energy or something?

I hope Kubo doesn't go forgetting characters again.

Re: Bleach Manga (spoilers)
Link | by devils-angel on 2012-03-06 02:24:43
I think the chart has been around for a while, you can find it on the wikias or so. It's pretty neat.

Ichigo can't sense reiatsu, he just smells people's odor. Kenpachi is more like a shark when it comes to reiatsu.
Also Kenpachi is a beast if you look at it technically, he has no bankai, he just stores reiatsu in his eye patch.
He has no shikai moves, doesn't even need bankai, doesn't even bother with kidou. He only presented one move so far, which was simply a kendo strike which compresses his energy into the thrust of the attack.
I doubt Kenpachi will learn bankai, though I want to learn more about his Lt. that little girl always following around his back. Yachiru I think her name was, I like her and she's probably a beast herself.
Her shikai was hinted at numerous times before so she's probably a monster anyways.... O.o`

lol basically Ichigo refuses to go to school to learn there and he can't learn any moves when he's fighting with other people. He just refuses to learn! >_<`

"As for his defeats.. yeah. I would say it was like Goku, but in DBZ at least Goku
stayed gone -- or someone else was able to take over in his place. With Bleach,
it's all Ichigo all the time.
" ~~ lol I said something similar already... XD

I doubt Ichigo's sisters will be any relevant. Maybe do something here and there but nothing like Konahamaru using a rasengan on a Pain.
Just like Ichigo's friends, they only got their senses from being around their brother all the time whenever he's home fighting hollow or when making love to Rukia in his closet....

Re: Bleach Manga (spoilers)
Link | by You're Not Alone! on 2012-03-06 14:03:08
I'll check those out, then.

But are you sure he can't? I'm too lazy to look things up when we talk about stuff
[LOL!] but I could swear, especially sometime in the last year, that he did that
ribbon thing to find someone. I can't remember who it was, but I thought I remember
him doing it within the last arc or the end of the Aizen Arc.

But as a general thing at least he senses reiatsu for general stuff and sensing the
obvious reiatsus and sudden spikes in the area. He's just never been able to sense
things specifically, or find specific sources and knowing who's who. I'm prolly
just misremembering him doing that "ribbon" thing in the last year of chapters.

YACHIRU IS TOO AWESOME, and I'm unbelievably annoyed with Kubo not shedding some
more light on her and her abilities. Just like I am with him "forgetting" all
these characters that could have had stuff done for them, or maybe actually been
fleshed out. In the case of characters like Nel, he had to literally have just
forgotten her. It's so annoying, as she was becoming one of my favorite in the
series.

Who knows, maybe we'll never see Yachiru again, either. SIGH.

And yeah, realistically I doubt Kenpachi would get a Bankai. He may never even
learn his Zanpakuto's name despite starting to "care" about it. I don't even
think he'll learn an actual technique, since the Kendo is just.. well, some kendo.

Funny how games like Soul Ressurrecion(however it's spelled, even though the
game itself is right behind me with all my video games, lmao) have his moves
given names, or he's given moves with names he doesn't actually use.

AND I KNOW YA SAID SOMETHING LIKE THAT, FRIEND.. just a few posts back, oho.
BUT REGARDLESS IMMA REPEAT THINGS CAUSE I'M JUST COOL LIKE THAT.. RIGHT?! ;O;

Konahamaru (why does that sound wrong.. Maybe I just haven't said it in awhile)
doing that against Pain was pretty random, LOL, but I agree -- you wouldn't see
them doing something like that in Bleach. It'd be cool to see them training and
all, though.

Also, I believe through some of Kubo's contradictions, it was said in the last
arc that they had the power to become Shinigami because of their Dad, and had
their own power. In fact the stuff with Ichigo creating powers in his friends,
which was the explanation before, was kinda contradicted by Kubo at a few points
in the last couple Arcs. At least from what I've seen in discussions.

This shall be my last long post. Killing my hands too much with my CTS in both
hands not cooperating very well with me, LOL. Feel free to keep your reply short,
despite me going on a long reply here. Kekeke.

P.S. Loving the avatars you've been doing. I've been doing avatars like my current
one [with the font of the name having a picture within it] and just plain text
avatars with special font effects and whatnot [like ones ive been experimenting
with in chat, and like ones you've been doing] while keeping the kanji from mine
in each style [since it means "shu"].

You got me inspired to keep tweaking my avatars and improving them, since I'm
going with the text-style avatars for now. Haha. ~ :D

Byakuya's Battle Data, clockwise. Top: Offense (90), Top Right: Defense (80), Bottom right: Mobility (90),
Bottom: Kidō/Reiatsu (90), Bottom Left: Intelligence (90), Top Left: Physical Strength (70). Total: 510/600

And yeah I have no problem with long posts myself, I just hate reading them so I'll try to keep things a bit more brief in reply... XD

Ichigo can't sense reiatsu nor can he compress his. Ishida even said long ago Ichigo was very bad at compressing his chakra.
I guess his instincts keep him aware of any enemy force creeping nearby. Also, I don't know what ribbon thing you're talking about (or remember it).

A little bit about Yachiru, she must be really strong is she's Kenpachi's Lt:

Kenpachi's Zanpakuto might just be a sword he found on like the beach or something. ^_^

That Bleach game is so stupid, I remember seeing in the trailer Ichigo using fire kidou spells, I was like, "WTF!?"

I seriously doubt his sisters will become Shinigami, they might be trained to fight hollow in their town
but no way will they be more involved with what Ichigo does, their dad will certainly forbid did. I would.

And yeah I sort of have become lazy when making anything so I throw together anything simple, though simple > anything technical.
I taught people how to do these styles of avatars a long time ago and I always ended up doing something else.

If you ever need any help or tips, give me a PM or something I'll help ya out.
People want me to make my own GFX thread but I'm too lazy with that as well, though I seriously need to teach people about typography... -___-"

Yeah, I think simple is better than anything technical, at least with the Gendou
avatars. Reason being you don't have a lot of room to work with. I remember when
I started doing Gendo avatars, I tried to do too much and they were way too
cluttered. Then I starting doing more simple avatars, with subtle effects. Turned
out way better.

BUT Anyway, NOW that chart has sparked my memory. I've actually seen that one
specifically before, and I think I saw some others but I don't remember them. I
only remember seeing that one now, because of the Battle Data stuff that's translated.

I like that system, too. 0-100 per stat and 0-600 total. Makes it easy to rate.

And yeah, Ishida said that and it's been true the whole series, but I think it's
improved cause I swear he did something like finding a specific person. As for the
"ribbon" thing I'm talking about, you saw Ishida do it in the early chapters and
during his "contest" with Ichigo when they first meet. Where you see a bunch of
spirit ribbons and can find the one you want, which is usually red.

Ishida displayed it, and Ichigo I believe displayed it for a brief moment, and
then you didn't see it again. I believe it was shown in the last arc or one before
that, though, by Ichigo. I'm probably just misremembering, though.

For his sisters, prolly not, but they may develop some powers. Karin was actively
training and I think fighting in the last arc, too, in the early part.

That scene, haha! I remember that. Yachiru's power has to be epic, but sadly we
haven't seen it. I think in a couple games her Zanpakuto has a cat-like look,
but they made up stuff for her back then [haven't learned much more since then, anyway, LOL].

This was longer than I meant to do. DANGIIIIIT.

P.S. I've only beaten a few chapters, and then got caught up playing other games.
I'll go back and beat it soon enough. Really disappointed with it, though, since
the levels are basically the same ol' same ol'. Not even crazy amounts of enemies.
