well since the anime thread has to be spoiler free, i made this thread for the people ahead. so how about the latest chapter? grimmjow finally releases his zanpaktou.

I haven't read it yet since the anime hasn't stopped (ex: Air Gear). But, since it's going so slow, considering the filler like episodes, I might check it out. I can't wait for Grimmjow/Kurosaki rematch:

It's totally DBZ now... -_- - aerial juggles - slamming Ichigo down then wait for him in the air while saying "come on, that can't be all you've got" just to be cool - Ichigo suddenly appears behind him uninjured and do the bigass getsuga tenshou - Grimmjow not injured at all after receiving that attack head-on... Weeeeell to be frank i'm disappointed... -_- |

well at least there isnt constant yelling to power up. i found that most annoying in dbz

Hehe... That might be the case for the dbz anime... But i have only read the manga for DBZ, which doesn't have that many yelling... So i see bleach lately the same as DBZ manga... (the fighting style etc...) And there are those 4 new ladies appearing... what would they do i wonder? |

Dang, I had no clue! I found it randomly! XD Well, I've said this before in other, much older threads, but it's not really a surprise that Manga, especially one, such as Bleach here would somehow turn "DBZ", lol. Most anime like Bleach, y'know involving some form of "Ki" or "energy", etc. would turn out to be like DBZ since it's a heavy action/fighting anime. DBZ heavily influenced ALL action/fighting anime, so it's not really a surprise. I'd be interested to see the actions in the anime though, but that'll take a long time considering how slow they're going.

i just read it. i liked it alot. it looks like they both are enjoying the fight and gasp ichigo is holding on to his mask longer

@DA I know, but still i once had a hope of a better fighting method... Kubo can't realize my hope it seems... -_- @Ray Yeah, that's one of the interesting part here... It seems Ichigo's instinct doesn't allow the mask to break! Still, judging from what the ladies said, the mask's power seems to be somewhat bad. A battle between espadas she said... |

It should come up soon, I hope that is... (:\ You said the next episode looks decent, that might be the end of the fillers then, who knows? I really hope so though...

yea i hope so too. as much as i like this manga/anime i hope it ends within a year because i like conclusion. same thing with naruto

You're talking about the whole anime or the filler ish episodes? The movie is coming out in September, a new movie has been named, but at this point, the manga looks like it can go on with a new storyline. They can choose to end it after they deal with Aizen or someone else comes in... >.>; Naruto is going to take a lot longer to end then Bleach. Bleach will most certainly end before Naruto, but who knows. They've become brothers in the business now...
