@Renma - It's fine. I'm pretty sure a lot of people are in to that period of time at the moment. [Village Outskirts] Vincent began to attack Arumuat again, but this time he fought seriously. "Never too late to try though." Sven rose to his feet slowly. The exposed parts of his body had been cut all over, but he managed to get to his feet with little trouble. He could see that both Fenris and Vivian were tired, but the blood Sven was loosing from all the cuts was already starting to have a slight effect, he could feel the fatigue setting in. The cold temperature had slowed the blood loss, but it was also attributing to his tiredness. "We can't keep going like this without Maria, we should retreat for now." he called out to his partner. Arumuat continued to fight off Vincent as he spoke. "I told you. Our payment will not be guaranteed unless we take them down o-" "Wrath of Heaven!" Vincent shouted as he swung the Angelus towards Arumuat, striking him with several of the light spears. Arumuat slipped to one knee but managed to deflect Vincent's next attack before jumping back. He stood back up, shaking off the pain as best he could. He examined the scene. Maria was still holding the barrier in place, Vivian and Fenris had been worn down, but Sven's blood loss left him in no condition to fight Fenris physically for very long. Arumuat had made progress on his front, but despite his serious wound Vincent was still faster than him and the remaining undead soldiers made it a difficult fight. He sighed before speaking. "Very well then. I hope you realize that this will be on your shoulders if our payment is withheld, or if it is cut, then your half will be forfeited." Sven nodded his acceptance and turned to leave.    |

[Vivian][Village Outskirts] As she was looking up into the sky, Vivian saw Fenris come over to her. She lowered her head and smiled. He sat down beside her, and Vivian noticed that he was also breathing hard. "It seems were both a bit exhausted," Fenris said, "The rest will need to finish the battle without us it seems." He smiled a little before he continued. "Action hasn't been in short supply lately," Fenris said, "Hopefully we can get a break from fighting and running after this little skirmish." Vivian nodded. "Agreed," she said, "But still... If your not in the fight than watching it can be pretty cool." She managed to pull herself into Fenris' lap with the remaining strength she had. "My body is now adapting to the new powers that come with an Illusion Master," Vivian explained, "So I have to take it easy. At least for awhile. You get overworked much faster when you acquire a new ability, and that's exactly what's happening to me. Ready to carry me once again?" Before she continued, Vivian stopped to listen. She couldn't hear any fighting going on. Vincent and those other people might be talking this thing out, Vivian thought. "Wonder what's going on out there," Vivian said, "Things seem to have gotten quiet. Did we win this...?" A win would definitely boost their group's spirit, Vivian knew that for sure.  |

[Village Outskirts] Vivian: "Things seem to have gotten quiet. Did we win this...?" Fenris: I think so, from what I can hear, they seem to be talking about leaving. He closed his arms around Vivian, who was sitting on his lap, hugging her tightly. Fenris: It seems that we have the same problem then. My body is also adapting to my new abilities. He thought about it and realised that this battle was the first time he had really used his new abilities. He was smiling broadly as he first lifted Vivian to her feet, then stood up and lifted her back to his arms. Fenris: Well, let's go find the others, shall we? He took a few steps forward and stopped. Fenris: But hey, shouldn't it be your turn to carry me?   |

[Vivian][Village Outskirts] Fenris hugged Vivian as he told her that he had the same problem as well with adapting to his new powers. He then lifted Vivian to her feet, stood up, and then put her back into his arms. "Well, let's go find the others, shall we?" He asked. He started to walk , but then he stopped. "But hey, shouldn't it be your turn to carry me?" He said. Vivian had to laugh at that. "Very funny, Fenris," Vivian said, "Maybe sometime I can have that arranged... Do you mind being carried by a clone of me?" She giggled a little bit, and then continued. "Now seriously," She continued, "Let's see what the others are up to." Since Fenris had walked out of the illusion barrier, she could now see that Vincent was near their opponents, and straight ahead of them was a group of skeletons surrounding Anke and Aoko. Anke was on the ground, and Aoko was right next to her. "Could we go over to Anke and Aoko first?" Vivian asked, "It's straight ahead, and although they are surrounded by some skeletons, you could probably push though them. Vincent seems to have his situation handled. One of the men seems like he can't even fight anymore, and the other is injured as well." Anke better not have done something crazy again, Vivian thought, I know how she loves to use all of her energy at once, and then something bad usually follows... And Vincent really does seem to have whatever he is doing under control... "So can we go straight ahead to Anke and Aoko please?" Vivian asked. |

Anke Anke's dream world faded and she woke up slowly, she sat up as her vision cleared and noticed that a good 85% of her skeleton army remained standing, she was still encircled by her protectors and Akoko had come to her aid at some point. She stood up and called off the skeleton guards wanting to see how things were going, Vincent seemed to have things under control, but he was bleeding and must have been in a sticky stop. The other enemies looked like they were retreating. Vivian and Fenris were ok, and Anke sighed in relief. She was still sitting on the ground, trying to keep her head clear so she could focus her energy on the skeleton army, which she was sending to aid Vincent. She allowed her grandmother to return to the underworld and commanded on of her skeleton soldiers to bring her the body. She tucked her grandmother's remains back under her coat and waited for a moment.  |

[Aoko] The black cat suddenly appeared in front of Aoko as it stared at Anke who's lying still on the ground. Aoko as if understanding what it just said, nodded and watched as Anke regained her consiousness. "Seems like I Wasn't needed, master" Aoko seemed a bit surprised hearing a voice whispering directly to her heart, noticing that it's telepathy. She turned her head to Anke now, as she sit on the ground. "Good morning, sleeping beauty. Too bad there's no prince charming waking you up with a kiss, huh?" Aoko grinned as Ren stared at Anke intently before letting off a meow and leap off at Anke's lap as she started curled her body. Aoko stand up and turn around, trying to find Vivian, vincent and Fenris. After finding them she waved her hand at them, still grinning just like someone who won a lottery worth few bags of gold.  |

[Village Outskirts] Sven and Maria had fallen back in to the forest. Arumuat turned to leave but was charged by Vincent. "You don't expect to just walk away now do you?" Vincent heaved as Arumuat quickly blocked the attack. "Actually I do, considering the shape I've left you in." Arumuat said with a slight chuckle. Vincent knocked him back and stabbed him in the shoulder, but Arumuat kicked the cut on Vincent's body and drove the tip of the scythe's pole in to Vincent's side. He jumped back and fled in to the woods where Sven and Maria had gone. "Oh, that was a bad decision. . ." Vincent had dropped to his knees, his swords falling to his sides. He was trying to control his breathing, while also muttering under his breath. "Don't look down, it's only going to make this worse. . ." [Forest] Sven was sitting down against a tree while Maria tended to the cuts he had sustained. Arumuat gripped his shoulder and was looking back in the direction they came from. "You had better not be thinking about going back there right away." Sven said as he gave him a hard look. Arumuat responded slowly. "Not even remotely. I think I have found a way for us to convince our employer not to cut our pay however." "How may I ask will you manage that? We didn't kill a single one of them, and retreated, it will not be easy to keep this job." Maria said without taking her eyes off of the wounds. "The two of you did not notice it, but something strange went on with the two unidentified girls. The older one collapsed, and the young one went to her with some kind of being. I couldn't tell what it was by sight, but I could see an energy that most certainly did not come from the little girl or the one who raised the dead." Sven looked up with a small smile on his face. "So you plan on convincing our employer that our failure was due to the appearance of that little girl and some unknown force that accompanied her?" Arumuat turned and sat down, looking at his two partners. "Precisely. You forget that that man is a telepath. All he will need to do is read my mind and he will have his proof. When he sees what I saw I can expect that he will want that little girl captured or provoked to find out the nature of that power. We can use that to nullify or failure today, ensuring that we still get paid." |

Ooc: You are free to control the Stromcallers and their forces, except for Ranek and Ragnar, it should make the posts flow more smoothly. [Village Outskirts] As the barrier had come down the Stormcallers and their forces were now coming towards Fenris and his friends. Fenris: Ranek! Have someone check out the man, he seems to be bleeding, I can smell his blood. Ranek gestured at one of the Wolf Guard who nodded and made his way to Vincent and began addressing the worst of his wounds. Vivian: "So can we go straight ahead to Anke and Aoko please?" Fenris: Let's do that, just give me the directions. Fenris navigated his way throught the rubble and skeletons and next to Anke and Aoko. Fenris: Hello ladies, how are you two holding up? He heard a meow from Anke's direction. Fenris: Oh sorry, I forgot you little lady. How are you three holding up? No more objections kitty? Fenris could hear Ren had started purring. Fenris: I take that as a no. |

Anke Anke smiled at the cat on her lap and gave it a quick scratch before it jumped off her lap. She turned toward Fenris who just spoken and smiled. "I know I'm fine, but Vincent doesn't seem to have the same fortune." Anke stood up with ease, more ease than usual. She was still full of energy, having siphoned some of energy from back home. "I'm going to go see if he needs any help." She dispelled the skeleton army, which crawled back to their graves. As she ran for the edge of the woods. "Vincent!" she called, "Vincent, are you alright, tell me where it hurts!" |

[Vivian][Village Outskirts] As Fenris carried Vivian to Anke, their one woman opponent pulled the barrier around the area down. One of the men ran off, however, Vincent attacked the other man, yet he blocked it and seriously hurt Vincent instead. Why did he attack! We had already won this thing! Vivian thought, We had won, and now he's really hurt... Why did he do such a reckless move? Fenris ordered Ranek to go check out Vincent and help him, and as soon Fenris made sure Anke was fine, she to go to Vincent as well. "So reckless," Vivian commented as Anke left, "No time to chat. But that's just her style, I guess. Well, we might as well head to Vincent as well, to see how bad his wounds are. It's just to the right of here." She looked towards the small Aoko. "You should come along too," Vivian said to her, "I think we're gonna meet up around Vincent and then decide what to do next." We always have to plan out what we are going to do, Vivian thought, I hate this; I want to decide things for myself, and not be forced to do something because a bunch of people are after us... "Well, shall we?" Vivian asked. And because of the people that are after us, I now have to be carried around because I lost most of my power... Vivian looked up at Fenris and started to blush. But as long as it's Fenris carrying me, then I don't mind it at all. |

[Village Outskirts] Vincent laid back, still wincing in pain as Anke rushed over to him asking about his injuries. "Well, just about everywhere you can see internal flesh and blood." He closed his eyes and finally eased his breathing to calm himself. "I should have gotten a bit more sleep, apparently." he said as he looked up to her. "So what about you? I seem to recall you freaking out for some reason earlier, but I was a bit too preoccupied getting split in two to see why." |

Anke [Village Outskirts] "Oh," Anke's heart did a flip, "I hope that my out cry didn't distract you, I tired to control myself, but I used an illusion spell to put our opponents into a nightmare, but it back fires and effects me as well..." She began to gently press her bare hand to the wounds covering Vincent's body. A bluish-purple light emanated off her hand and the bleeding began to ease up. The light turned pure white as she cleansed the wounds and it turned pink as she started to close the wounds. "I'm going to ease the pain, stop the bleeding and close the wound, but your tissues will have to knit back together naturally. I wouldn't advise getting caught up in anything too strenuous in the near future." |

[Village Outskirts] Vivian: "Well, shall we?" Fenris: Yeah, I think we'd better. He thought about what should they do now, the most obvious direction would be the Stormcaller Mansion, after they would get there they would have plenty of time to recuperate from their adventures and to plan their next course of action. He started making his way towards Vincent and Anke being careful not to fall down. He could sense Abnke using her magic. So Vincent was injured quite badly then. He reached the two and stood someways away from them. Fenris: So we all seem to have made through, more or less in one piece. So I think we should head to the Mansion now. Ranek are your men ready to move. Ranek had joined them after the barrier had fallen. Ranek: Yes everyone is present and ready to move. Fenris nodded and turned back to Vincent and Anke. Fenris: So shall we head out? |

[Village Outskirts] Anke had begun to treat his wounds with some form of magic. Although he would prefer to let it heal naturally as opposed to magic, he couldn't argue with the faster results. "So do what I just did, except don't get hit. Got it." He looked up to Fenris and the others who had made their way over. "I'm fine with heading out. There's no way I'm going let myself slow anyone down." He started to get up, feeling very stiff but not in nearly as much pain. |

Anke "I don't want us to go very far, Vincent's wounds are still unhealed on the inside and I would prefer if he didn't exert himself" Anke turned to Fenris who was carrying Vivian... "If at all possible we should at least take it kind of slow." Anke turned to Vincent and gave him a stern but caring look, "don't you dare worry about slowing us down, because if we lose you it will slow us down even more... Besides, I've done a fair job of slowing us down anyway." She held out her hand to Vincent to help him. "I'm not saying we can't go to the mansion, I just want us to take it slowly... For Fenris and Vivian's sake, my own and Vincents." She amended. "Oh and please, Vincent you can lean on me f you need to." |

[Vivian][Village Outskirts] "What's with all the talk of slowing it down?" Vivian asked, "We already going to go slow, so if we go any slower, we will just be standing still!" Vivian managed to laugh, but then it started to hurt her so she stopped. "Well," Vivian said, "We have to go slow. Fenris is carrying me, and Vincent is still seriously wounded on the inside, despite looking alright on the outside. And besides, we don't want our healthy and somewhat-healthy members to loose energy, we will need all the energy we can get if we are attacked again." Vivian hated to say it, but being attack again was a possibility. They had been attacked multiple times since leaving the academy. It was only a matter of time until they were attacked again. "Although, let's hope we aren't attacked." Vivian whispered. From her voice, one could tell that she was scared of what might happen next, but she tried not to show it. |

He straightened back up slowly, breathing out, before looking back at the others with a sheepish smile. "Let's be on our way then." He paused and looked to Aoko suddenly. [Village Outskirts] Fenris: Okay, so were good to go then. He rose and took a few steps then stopped. Fenris: Ranek, have your men lead the way, so I'll be able to follow. Ranek: Certainly, Ragnar get these lazy bums on the move. Ragnar: WERE MOVING OUT! BACK TO THE MANSION! NICE AND STEADY! As the rest of Stormcallers and their soldiers headed out Ranek and Ragnar joined them. As they were going Ragnar turned back. Ragnar: It's good to have you back. Fenris: You too. He nodded to Ragnar and began to walk after them. |

Anke Anke helped Vincent up and watched as he winced in pain. She didn't like how stubborn he could be at times, but she would be a little hypocritical if she pointed it out. "Is that a friendly offer or a request based on desire? Either way, I'll keep that in mind." He said as he straitened up. "What do you mean?" Anke asked? She didn't understand what Vincent was referring to. She wanted him to lean on her because he was injured and obviously in pain, but if he was more comfortable leaning on Fenris, that was fine with her too, though Vivian would probably object. Akoko wouldn't be much help either way. |

[Village Outskirts] Aoko picked up Ren as she started walking towards her, holding her in front of her chest. Nobody would really guess that Aoko is not just an ordinary girl in this appearance. "By the way, do you have any idea how much longer you'll be like that?" Aoko shook her head, as she looked up at him. "I Don't know myself. This is probably the first time I've ever been in this state. Maybe I'll return into my original form at Night ." Aoko paused as she continue walking. "But, I'm not sure myself. If I Can return now, I'd have done so since earlier you know" Aoko surely isn't comfortable having to rely on others for her own safety, however It appears that being in this Child form did took its toll as it began to affect her mind state. |
