Well, this entire arc has been kinda strange. In fact, since sometime near the end of the last arc, it's just been off (but we've talked about that a lot already). I question where the Vizards are now, since yeah they left, but you would think something like this happening would bring them out. The last time something went and happened in the human world, they showed up, even if it was also to go after Aizen. I just hope Kubo doesn't do what I think he is, and gets rid of them. For the levels of power though, in DBZ they didn't mean too much near the end. Especially in DBGT (which I know wasn't part of the normal stuff) power levels were totally just out the window. Even in the normal series, though, power levels started to get absurd after the Freiza Arc. In Bleach, though, even their tier of power [Shikai/Bankai, Seats/Vice-Captain/Captain, etc] don't mean much now. I know it's a shounen and it's all about action, but I think the way Ichigo's power has progressed and changed over the series is ridiculous. It was alright in the Soul Society Arc, and even in the Arrancar/Vizard Arc after that, but at some point in the Hueco Mundo Arc it just got ridiculous. I was kinda hoping Ichigo's return to power would be a bit slower, that his power would be different, and there would be more story and involvement. It started to look like that with his new powers, but then BOOM -- He gets a huge power boost and his Soul Reaper powers back, becomes stronger than ever, and still just has the same ol' GT spam attack. Regardless, I still do enjoy it. It's a good read despite the frustrations, and it's pretty entertaining. It's just nowhere as good as other series out there, specifically Fairy Tail and Reborn, which along with Ao No Exorcist I see them as some of the best stuff. Even Naruto, despite how crazy I think it is (just so much going on) is carrying itself better than Bleach right now. AND YES, I HATED TO SEE RIRUKA GO AWAY. WHAT THE HEEEEEELL. The arc after this could make or break Bleach, I think. |

Yeah after the Freeza arc things got out of hand, however, the Cell saga in my opinion was good. Actually, when Gohan rightfully deserves the be the strongest character when they gave that role back to Goku it was annoying. Then later with the Buu saga, Mystic Gohan should've been the strongest, and they KILL Gohan, like, wtf. I'm not Gohan biased, I was actually more of a Vegeta fan despite how cocky and cowardly he was, but I was a big fan of teen Gohan when he became the first SSJ2, and rightfully the strongest character and should've been. Plus he gets the best family in the series I think after Krillin's family (18 groupie here... ;P). But yes, with Bleach, ranks don't really mean anything anymore, cause Rukia is stronger than most 3rd ranked Shinigami by now. Also they trained during Ichigo's no power-year off and should've been closer to Aizen's power. What I hate is like this, Ichigo uses that ultimate move, results in loosing his powers forever. A year passes. He then figures out a way to get his powers back, now everything's back to normal. Like, it negates/contradicts the actual storyline. That's one thing I absolutely hate about this author KT, cause he literally just makes shit up whenever he pleases. There aren't any real arcs anymore, cause everything is just switching back to some different time or some random enemy appears.... Like I think he's just milking the series to pay off his bills. I'm sure most fans are getting a bit ticked off as well. With Naruto, they had Shippuuden where everybody grew up, had costume changes, new moves, etc. And Shippuuden WILL end eventually, there is a fated end, but Bleach, there's no Shippuuden, no aftermath, it's just constantly dragging out. The main enemy was of course Aizen, and everything in between were just either filler arcs or random enemies. I mean the Vizard arc lead up to the Aizen finale, but then they added the flashback arc where Aizen screwed the Vizards over. Also note, they did state in the past that there might be an arc to show Ichigo's dad's days in the SS. Younger Yamamoto?? lol Bleach is just your average manga, there are a million better ones. Hell I could literally make a better doujinshi series than Bleach. What do you think will happen now? I vote new random arc/storyline. Ichigo knocks up Ishida? We'll see... ------- |

When it comes to DBZ, Gohan is without a doubt my favorite character in the whole series. In the Cell Arc was his shining moment, and sadly after that he got weaker and by the Buu Arc had a chance to be the strongest but got killed off in a pretty lame way. I get how Goku was the hero of the series, but I didn't like how Gohan was built up to be the strongest Z-Fighter, and then got knocked back down. BUT Regardless, yeah, ranks are out the window. As for the storyline up till now, there is no real divider like in Naruto, but wasn't Shippuuden just the way they separated the anime series? I didn't think they used the name in the manga. And even with KT doing what he does story-wise, and making it painfully obvious things he seems to just make up, a lot of mangaka do that. It just tends to be really obvious [or seem obvious] to the fans and critics. I WANT TO SEE SOME YOUNG ISSHIN THOUGH. Maybe figure out what the hell they started to reveal about Ichigo near the end of the Aizen stuff, that I don't think has ever been cleared up. I mean really, damn, that's been sitting out there for awhile. Then again, it may just be Kubo setting himself up to extend things later. But now .. Well, as much as I want to say filler-type material, fans want some things to get done story-wise and not be as drawn out. Whether Kubo listens to the fans [that are getting more and more impatient, I think] or not, is another question. However, with that in mind, I think they have to do something "main" story related. At least involving a trip back to Soul Society for Ichigo, maybe checking on the status of Aizen, and maybe some big thing with Ichigo meeting with Yamamoto. I have a feeling we may see something big with Ichigo and Soul Society/Gotei 13. Doesn't have to be a conflict, but maybe just some sort of revelation or a new way that Ichigo interacts with the Shinigami and stuff. |

Yeah Shippuuden was just an anime thing, not a manga thing, but it did change in the manga, I forget when exactly though. But it was good cause 3 years passed and the anime finally took on a new role, deeper story, new characters/villains, etc. It went somewhere and it was eventually going to go there in the first place, it was just going to take time. Naruto to me, is so long cause it's like an everyday RPG, it doesn't skip over a period of time (other than those 3 years :P). I know with some manga series, they can add in some random stuff here and there, it's common, yes, but no, with Bleach there are no excuses, the stuff that gets added or "changed", is simply not even filler. It's a whole 'nother level of it. Like you ask KT "what is the storyline of Bleach?", I'm sure he'd say something like "it's whatever you want it to be" since it's always random... There's simply no bad guy now. Ginjou is dead, and now Ichigo is left with nobody else to fight and has his full powers back. Now this would be another simple [end-it-here] point, but that won't happen. Bleach will continue to be milked for a while longer, and I most likely see some sort of filler arc coming. Even with the movies there were random enemies, so I don't expect anything different from Bleach anymore. It's all the same stuff. For now I maybe see Ichigo just talking to his friends and telling them what happened, so I see a ton of talking and dialog in the next few chapters. Then maybe a drift into some past-filler arc for sure. ------- |

lol this arc is going to last like 2 years since it's "the last". And of course after EVERYTHING that happened, Fro-san Shinigami is still somehow alive and well and even training subordinates! I feel bad for that Shino, she already died in quick manner. lol ------- |

There was a picture that Aizen left Soul Society. *gasp* Does Ichigo seriously still need to be in Bankai mode to beat Hollow? Btw, when did Hollow start looking like behemoths!? Does this Arc follow the last Arc (timeline wise)? ------- |

As far as I can tell it has no reason not to follow it. It may not be RIGHT after it, but I don't think much time has passed since the Fullbring Arc. I also think the hollows may look like that because of the BIG SCARY PLOT DEVICE that's coming up. Maybe Hollows are starting to get a lot more powerful in Karakura. Not too surprising, I guess. For Ichigo to still be in Bankai though, LOL. I don't know if he was in Bankai in this past weeks chapter, and sadly I can't check, since I just now found out that the place I used to read manga is dropping all Viz manga do to a court order. [coughmangastreamcough] My manga viewing is in serious jeopardy.. |

(I sent you a PM) How convenient for Hollows to just get stronger when the final arc has come around. How do Hollow even get stronger, do they train somewhere? Maybe in the Tokyo Dome since that's a large place for them to practice. I don't know exactly if he was in Bankai but it looked like his bankai's appearance. Then again when has he NOT fought in bankai form, only when he didn't level up to that yet. Yeah that bill's post-effects are really pissing me off! ------- |

[Gotchu back!] And what do you expect? It's Bleach, LOL. I'm just guessing with how they look, though, since they certainly aren't the average looking bunch we've seen. I wouldn't say they trained, though. I'd just think they're "born" in those more powerful forms. That's one thing that always kinda bugs me with Ichigo. He made Bankai seem less powerful then it was, when you compare to the Soul Society Arc. Bankai's use to be feared and respected, but they became just another case of Super Saiyan. Oh well, at least here's hoping the last arc is entertaining. |

I guess that's always been true, though Menos are still referred to as the most powerful Hollow. Even captains are cautious when fighting a large group of them because of their Cero. Ichigo is an OP character like Goku. And yeah bankai was something that took years and years to obtain. Of course Ichigo obtained it within what, three days I believe which was just ludicrous and then defeated Byakuya! He didn't even heal or anything, which is BS cause Byakuya surely is stronger than Ichigo but since he's the main character they give him the edge. Also curious to know if Ichigo is still a Vizard, if he still has his Hollow powers. The thing I've learned with how Bankai works is if you're in Bankai mode, only your Bankai gets stronger. So in his Shikai form even though technically he's always in it will never level up. Like in DBZ, after you went SSJ, there was SSJ1, SSJ2, etc. But you'd always power up to your second strongest mode cause you have to power up to get past a level to get into that SSJ's level. Example: Gohan at the World Tournament during the Buu/Great Saiyan Man arc, he fought that pink guy who work with the Surpreme kai and had to do this crazy screaming transformation into SSJ2. I think it'd be better if he lost them since he lost his powers entirely but he can finally learn a new move or two... I swear if Bleach ends with Ichigo fighting this entire time with ONE SINGLE MOVE, yeah... ------- |

Yeah, Ichigo is OP, and I get the way he's done as the main character – but the way he got that power, bested Byakuya, and then from the next Arc on, all Bankai were just easy to use and fight with. It started slowly, but soon it became expected to have a Bankai in use. I know it works like power ups in any others, but the thing that got me was the fact the Captains already had the power of Bankai -- but after Ichigo broke it, they could use Bankai however, LOL. Still, I can fault them. Soul Society was an amazing arc and even if things fell off after that, it's still been entertaining. For Ichigo to learn another move though.. you may be asking too much, LOL. I had hoped the fullbring arc would bring out some new moves, but NOPE! Here at Bleach HQ, we're all about Getsuga Tenshou. All Getsuga all the time, enjoy your stay! Hopefully Kubo will give him a new move or two, though, even if it is a bit too late. One of the biggest complaints in the series is the fact all he has is GT, after all. |

@Shuy I guess so but it's pretty simple to predict what someone is going to do when all they have is one offensive attack. His main strengths are his speed and his one blitz move of a slash. However, since KT is ALWAYS making random enemies they won't know about Ichigo that much so it's just a regular first meeting fight. Lame. Other than his reiatsu level, I believe any of the Captains he fought before can beat him, Kenpachi and Byakuya I'm positive can beat him. I still go back to that Arrancar arc where Kenpachi fought Nnoitra. Ichigo couldn't TOUCH him at all! Kenpachi comes to save his butt but before Ichigo was able to cut and beat Kenpachi? Bulls***. That in no way makes sense whatsoever. I believe Byakuya is faster and more strategic than Ichigo and can still beat him. If he never had his Hollow powers ever he wouldn've been f#cked a long time ago! I mean c'mon, InuYasha learned more than one move and his enemies were childplay compared to the Hollow in Bleach. @Ray Are you doubting Ichigo's OP skill? ------- |

DON'T BADMOUTH INUYASHA HE FOUGHT TOUGH GUYS RAGE RAGE RAAAAAAGE. - Cough. - A-Anyway, yeah. The way some things have gone in terms of balancing who is stronger, is kind've out of hand. I would think Byakuya could win with strategy and speed, but I think Ichigo's speed is about the same or better -- plus, he has main character power. That trumps any and all trap cards by Byakuya. Kenpachi I think cooould win, but I believe the biggest thing there would be time. If Ichigo was able to just go all out quickly, he'd prolly win. Also if he just didn't let Kenpachi hit him. If he could avoid and dodge everything, he'd be okay. And without his hollow powers [he prolly still has them somewhere. Damn you kubo!] I think we have to see him develop something else. I mean, his new form/power up is OP as hell it seems, and it's hard to judge his overall power when he fought Genjo. I guess we'll just have to see. AND YEAH RAY, HOW CAN YOU DOUBT THE POWER OF THE MAIN CHARACTER?! As for something beyond Bankai, I think we saw it when he beat Aizen. The only thing left is new skills or brand new powers [like what the Vizard powers were] because we've seen what comes after Bankai. If Kubo does anything like that again, I'm going to be pretty upset. Would be the biggest cop out I've ever seen by a mangaka, LOL. Surely he wouldn't.. |

lol since when has Ichigo ever changed at all? He just keeps getting stronger just because that's how the manga works. I mean he dies against Ulquiorra, legit, and Ulquiorra just "fades away" and Ichigo ends up with the "W". He never beat Ulquiorra and was spared by the heavens. Grimmjow freaking stabbed him and put a hole in his chest! Orihime heals him and he beats Grimmjow later... lol the fastest person in Soul Society history at one point was Yoruichi. Ichigo learns bankai and surpasses him in every way. :( Byakuya's moves are much better than Ichigo's in my opinion and his fight against the Fullbring guy only revealed his very slim blindspot, however if Ichigo tried to go in that far he would only commit suicide since he wouldn't be able to get out. Also in a second dream fight, without hollow powers, he wouldn't be able to handle Byakuya's Senkei, Gokei, and Shukei. To go towards Ray's theory of something past Bankai, Byakuya would be the first candidate for it. Also I believe Toushirou even though his bankai is immature could still go past another level (his fight with Hallibel). I can't ever doubt those two duel-wielders either since they've been around for SO long. lol I wouldn't be surprised if Ichgo can use the "final" Getsuga Tenshou repetitively. ------- |

Yeah, I really don't like that about Bleach, which is the same for a lot of fans. I think Bleach's potential was sky high after the Soul Society Arc, and while I still enjoy the series, there's no doubt it dropped on my list with some of the stuff that happened. I don't even mind the way the fights went with the Espada, but Kubo just seemed to do things with a bit too much "deus ex machina". I really think the outcomes of the fights could have been better, even with the same or similar events happening, if Kubo had just done things a bit differently. Hard to get that point across, I think, LOL. For Byakuya, I think he's the more skilled of the two, but I think Ichigo's OP level of power would give him the edge again. Their speed is almost the same, based on the way things have gone, but I think Byakuya is more skilled. Ichigo just has too much power [mostly due to him being the Main] to fall back on. If we really had a legit level past Bankai, the SSJ3 to Shikai and Bankai as SSJ1 and SSJ2, I still think Ichigo would get it. Byakuya has to be on the list, and so do Joshiro and .. why does my mind blank on their names? ANyway, the dual wielders. I would say Toshiro too, because of his age and him already having the level of power that he does. A lot of room to continue growing in power. AND LOL IF HE USES THE FINAL GT AGAIN IM RAGE QUITTING. LOL.. |

Bleach used to be a part of Shonen Jump's "triangle", other wise known as the Bleach, Naruto, and 'FMA' circle. Of course eventually FMA dropped out after finishing because it had a legit ending and even had an anime series not based on the manga which is still regarded as one of the best anime of all time. These days it's more Naruto, Bleach, and a few others like One Piece added. Basically the long on-going series that seemingly never end. With Bleach though compared to Naruto since I don't read One Piece, Naruto has an actual beginning and end, basically history. Real history. Not sure if you're reading Naruto manga now, but they're in a huge war where Kabuto summoned basically every villain ever in Naruto. These villains might seem like random characters, but they're real characters that used to be around in the previous wars/generations. There's real history to them, you know their moves, you know their past encounters with enemies, etc. With Bleach however, when there's new characters, they're all literally random and made up on the spot. Up until the Soul Society arc, everything was already set. The only thing that kept it going was Ichigo having hollow powers. Of course after that they had some really annoying filler arcs (with more random characters) then of course the Arrancar/Espada/Vizard arcs. Up until all of this, Aizen was the main enemy because he betrayed Soul Society. Anything relating to the past in the later arcs was the "flashback" arc which showed why and how Aizen did everything he did and of course the Vizards as Captains. So relatively speaking after all these arcs, Aizen should've been able to clear Ichigo away but of course he can't die. Ichigo is clearly a berserker with speed which in life, makes no sense and even in anime is seemingly unfair. If Kenpachi had Byakuya's speed and agility and arsenal of Kido techniques, THAT'S OP. But Ichigo has an endless suplly of reiatsu, absolutely no kido, his speed is overrated and just increases randomly, and he can never die. Also as he displayed against Ulquiorra, he technically can die once and come back to life fully restored. I'm not sure if he still has his hollow powers so we'll see what happens from now on. Just ranting cause I like Bleach, but you can't judge it as a great series because everything is always made up and Ichigo is OP. I'd like to see Ichigo fight Espada #2 then again he can't beat Nnoitra. XD! lol, btw this just came up as I'm typing this, wtf happened to that little girl, ex-#4 Nel? Rofl~~~!? Anyways read the latest chapter and we get introduced to a new character (oh a new character? what a surprise). Not sure if it's an enemy or not but he didn't take off his shoes in Ichigo's house and is stepping on his bed! Oh naw he didn't!?! ------- |
