[Vivian][Village Outskirts} As the rest of her friends chatted, Vivian stayed quiet and paid no attention to them. She was only waiting, watching, to see what their opponents would do. She watched their opponents through a window. She saw the woman of the group raise a dome-shaped barrier around the area they were in. "Uh, everyone?" Vivian said, "I think we're now trapped. The lady, she put a barrier around the area." She smiled fiercely as she tightened the grip on the icicles she created. "This is now officially a battle." She stated, "They have no way out, and neither do we. This goes until the end." She then looked around at every member of their group, starting with the small Aoko, and ending with Fenris. She stared at Fenris for awhile, her fierce look fading away; she even started to blush a little. Why did all of this trouble have to start now? Vivian thought, I really liked it before... She sighed. Well, I can't decide everything. She waited a few moments to stop blushing before she turned back to the rest of the group. "Ready everyone?" She asked.  |

Anke [Village Outskirts] "Ready!" Anke said smiling brightly, "Let me attack first, since I bet they can't place my identity. I can take them by surprise with an attack, luckily for me, there is a grave yard behind us!!!" Anke was getting excited at the idea of showing off her true powers with this new body of hers. "Just tell me when Vivian."  |

[Vivian][Village Outskirts] "Just tell me when, Vivian." Anke said first. Vivian smiled at her enthusiasm. It was nice to see that it wasn't just Vivian who wanted a battle. "How about... Now!" Vivian said, "Let's get them!" To start off the attack, Vivian threw both of her icicles up in the air, and muttered a spell that would let them stay there. She then pointed at the large guy who knocked down the wall, and with that the icicle homed in on him. She kept the other one in the air nearby her, just in case she needed it. Let's hope it gets him directly in the head or the heart, just like it should, Vivian thought, Then we'll have one of our attackers down for good. She looked around at the others. "Anke and Vincent, you two go out first. The rest should stay back with myself and Fenris," Vivian said, "These aren't orders, it's just a part of the plan I came up with." Vivian felt as though she needed to add that last part in because she didn't want to be like a dictator to her friends; it was just the best plan of attack she came up with. |

Anke [Village Outskirts] "How about...Now!" Vivian said giving Anke a bright smile, so Anke was alone in her enthusiasm this time. Vivian started the battle with an attack of ice bombs, Anke smiles a little at this, her friend had taken quite a liking to the ice element. Anke thought it suited her white hair and energetic personality. In a strange contradicting sort of way. "Anke and Vincent, you two go out first. The rest should stay back with myself and Fenris," Vivian said, "These aren't orders, it's just a part of the plan I came up with." Vivian said after she sent one of the icicles in pursuit of the big man. Anke nodded "Right, I'm paired with Vincent." She ran out into the middle of the open field, behind the house, that was marked off by little head stones. The wind was blowing symbolically as she lifted her arms above her head. "Aufstieg" she cried out and from behind her a terrible rumbling and quaking came up from the ground beneath her feet. Hundreds of skeletons began to pull themselves out of their rotting coffins to join the world of the living once more. Anke could feel the magical power rushing though her blood stream, and though her heart was being effected, she couldn't feel it. For once in her life she could be as reckless as she wanted to be. From under the large coat that had black fur lining at the top and was made from crimson and black wool, with the Faustus crest proudly stitched into the back she took her great grandmothers skeleton. "mit der Liebe meines Herzens holen Sie das Leben zurück zu" she said and the skeleton attached to the inside of her coat sprang to life. It was dressed in the same trade mark colors of the Faustus clan, her long blond hair and bright blue eyes were shining bright as she stood next to her grand daughter. "Looks like a worthy battle my child" the once lifeless skeleton that had been turned into Eliza Faustus said to her great grand daughter. "It shall be..." Anke relpied, she turned around to the skeleton army that was standing behind her. "Schicken Sie Marsch nach" she told them and forward they went. Anke standing in the middle of their charging masses. An army now close to 800 strong, with Anke and her friends at the head of their numbers. |

[Village Outskirts] Fenris was feeling exhausted, he hadn't held back at all, but since the barrier had risen the connection between Fenris and the wolf spirits had been momentarily severed draining his energy even more than he had thought. Fenris: It seems I'm a bit spent, also that barrier seems to be keeping the wolf spirits outside. So it seems I will be concentrating on defense. He felt Vivian begin releasing the icicles she had made. Fenris: Here's the last one too. Fenris held the icicle loosely on his hand which he extended towards Vivian. He then started collecting magical energy to his hands preparing to defend the group to best of his ability.   |

[Village Outskirts - House] Sven braced himself and tensed his body, he started to shoot his fists forward, punching the shards of ice as they came at him. Vincent exited the house and looked towards Anke, who had conjured up a small army as well as some other woman. He thought to himself momentarily upon seeing the new woman. 'If she can pull off something like that, then I assume that he must have found a way to do the same with her. . . that's going to make what I have to do all the more painful.' He approached the two as they began to move towards the attackers. "So you can raise the dead now too? Exactly how long has it been since I last saw you?" Arumuat turned towards the group building up to his right. He spun his scythe around as he walked towards the army to face them head on.    |

Anke "So you can raise the dead now too? Exactly how long has it been since I last saw you?" Anke smiled and laughed a little, "No, I can't raise the dead, I'm just using her spirit to give her skeleton back her former powers, it's actually one of the simpler spells..." Anke gestured to the army behind her. "These guys are only good for physical fighting, while my great-grandma's temporary embodiment here will allow her to act freely of me." Anke shrugged, "It's like Vivian's ice clones, what my grand mother see's I see, so no attack can sneak up on me, and I don't have to worry about her, because her spirit is conscious enough to react on it's own." She looked at Vincent and her expression softened, "I know you don't like this creepy stuff, so I'll try to keep my creepy tactics to a minimum." |

[Vivian][Village Outskirts] As Anke and Vincent left the house to attack, Fenris and Vivian concentrated on defenses. "It seems I'm a bit spent," Fenris said, "Also that barrier seems to be keeping the wolf spirits outside. So it seems I will be concentrating on defense. Here's the last one too." He held out his hand with the icicle, and Vivian took it and threw it up in the air with the other one. So the big guy can smash these icicles too, Vivian thought, These thing's can withstand a lot of damage, so he has to have the same amount of strength that Fenris has, give or take a bit. She saw that Anke and Vincent currently had the situation under control outside, so she decided to step back for a bit and see what would happen. She held out Picasso to Fenris and put one of his hands on top of it. "Let's work as a team with this!" Vivian said happily as she transferred magical energy to Fenris. |

[Village Outskirts] Vivian: "Let's work as a team with this!" Fenris smiled as he felt power flowing to him from Vivian, then he heard something he had not expected. Whitefang: -It seems our time has run out. Blackclaw: -Yes so it seems. Fenris: -I can hear you, but why can't I sense you? Whitefang began to laugh, but her voice was clearly human. Whitefang: Because we have given up our host bodies. Fenris was so shocked to hear that voice that he fell to his knees. Fenris: It can't be... Blackclaw: Better believe it. Fenris: Somehow I already knew... but still... There were tears rolling down Fenris' cheeks. The two wolves had changed their form taking on their original appearance. Blackclaw had turned into a hulking man who looked like Fenris, Whitefang had turned into a tall woman with long black hair. She kneeled down and hugged Fenris. Whitefang: We don't have much time left, but we wanted to say goodbye. Blackclaw: Goodbye Fenris, I'll be waiting for you, you've made me proud... With that his form faded away as if blown apart by the wind. Whitefang rose up and lifted Fenris with her. Whitefang: Now isn't time for you to sit still, your friends need you. She wiped his tears off and held her hand on his cheek. Whitefang: Be strong, be proud. She then walked to Vivian, kneeled in front of her and hugged her. Whitefang: I wish that I could have known you better. Keep him safe. She too started to fade away. She turned to face Fenris. Whitefang: You still remember? Fenris: How could I forget. Whitefang: Now you know the meaning. Fenris turned his head towards Vivian. He was smiling broadly. Fenris: Yes, now I do. Whitefang: Goodbye Fenris, we will meet again. Fenris: Goodbye... mother... |

(I've got to try and get in contact with Ken again and see what exactly he's up to. Temporarily handling his RP is making me a bit nervous. >.>) [Village Outskirts - House] He put his hand on her shoulder softly. "Creepy stuff doesn't bother me, it's the magic part that does that. Just make sure they know who the enemy is and I'll be fine." He turned and headed off with the army towards the man with the scythe. "Oh, and if death incarnate over there kills me, don't raise my corpse like you did with these things." he called back over his shoulder. Arumuat had already begun mowing down the undead that met him. "Numbers are useless against the superior trained warrior. I don't see why these graduates are such a high priority if all they can muster is a barrier and a handful of shambling husks." Sven took a quick look around. Arumuat had the two of them distracted, and there didn't seem to be any others in the area, so he decided to make his way towards the ones hiding in the back. "Shouldn't be too difficult. Two little girls and brick wall. Simple." he said as he smacked his gauntlets together once again and made his way towards the house. |

"Oh, and if death incarnate over there kills me, don't raise my corpse like you did with these things." he called back over his shoulder. Anke watched as the skeleton army began to attack the enemies. She looked at her grandmother's temporary embodiment, "ready?" she asked and the old woman gave her a nod. Anke shouted out another spell making sure to keep vincent out of it, because this would be by far the creepiest spell she would ever cast. "Schwartz!" the spell attacked the enemies and the world went into an allusion, everything looked the same, but everyone was now in their worst nightmares, including Anke, the spell caster. |

[Vivian][Village Outskirts] As Vivian was transferring power to Fenris, she heard two wolves behind her. She turned to look, but they weren't wolves at all, one was a man that looked like Fenris, the other was a woman with long black hair. Related to Fenris? Vivian wondered. After Fenris talked to them in this wolf-talk, they talked normally. "Because we have given up our host bodies." The woman said. Apparently, they had some of this conversation in the wolf-talk, so Vivian didn't know what was going on. Fenris had fallen to his knees, and Vivian put Picasso down and went down to his level. "It can't be..." Fenris started to say. "Better believe it." The man said. "Somehow I already knew... but still..." Fenris said. He was crying, but Vivian could tell that these were tears of joy. She looked up at the couple. "We don't have much time left," The woman said, "But we wanted to say goodbye." "Goodbye Fenris," The man said, "I'll be waiting for you, you've made me proud." The man then faded away, as if the wind had blown him away. What? What's going on? Vivian wondered. The woman then came down and lifter Fenris up, and Vivian came up as well. "Now isn't time for you to sit still," she said, "Your friends need you. Be strong, be proud." The woman then turned, to Vivian, kneeled in front of her and hugged her. "I wish that I could have known you better." the woman said, "Keep him safe." She then started to fade away, but slower than the man had faded. "I will," Vivian whispered, but she did not know if the woman heard her or not. "You still remember?" She asked. "How could I forget." Fenris replied. "Now you know the meaning." She said. Fenris turned to Vivian, smiling so broadly, and he seemed so happy, he started to make Vivian smile as well. "Yes, now I do." Fenris continued. "Goodbye Fenris, we will meet again." the woman said as she had almost disappeared. "Goodbye... mother..." Fenris said. Wait, that woman... She was his mother? Vivian thought, And the man... His father? He did look alot like Fenris... "So the wolves... Were your parents?" Vivian asked. She already knew the answer, but she couldn't think of anything else to say. He must not have known that they were his parents... So that means that earlier today, when he was asleep in the early morning... I was actually telling his Mom I like him? Vivian started to blush madly. But it doesn't matter now, I mean, he did return my feelings with the kiss earlier... "Funny how these things turn out, isn't it?" She asked him. She smiled, and looked out the window. She saw the larger man running towards them, but Anke ran after him. She said something, probably a spell, but Vivian couldn't hear it. Guess the battle's heating up out there, She thought. She didn't know what happened to them, however, all of their opponents and Anke all of a sudden seemed dazed. What did she do? She looked over at Fenris and Aoko. Like Vivian, they both seemed unaffected by this. She looked over towards Vincent, and he seemed okay too. Is this our chance? Vivian thought. She decided it was. "Vincent!" She shouted, "Now's your chance!" Vivian also knew this was her chance, and pointed once at the large man and again at the other man there. One icicle was homing in on one, and the other one went to the other man. "This battle's getting exciting." She said to Fenris. |

[Village Outskirts] Vivian: "This battle's getting exciting." Fenris was still a little shocked by the sudden appearance of his parents so he only nodded in response. He snapped out of it when he felt Vivian throwing the icicles and could sense where they were going, he decided to strike at the closer enemy with his magic, to distract him from the oncoming icicle. He sent a strong surge of ice magic traveling into the ground and as he couldn't pinpoint the enemy's location he targeted larger area then he usually would have. Fenris: Jaws of the World Wolf! Icicles began bursting out of the ground in the area surrounding their attacker after they had grown to about hip level they began sprouting icicles from within them turning the area surrounding Sven, into a field of ice thorns, which were as strong as iron due to him enforcing them with his magic. |

[Village Outskirts] Sven looked around, taking in the sights caused by Anke's spell, he knelt down and closed his eyes. He held up his arms in a defensive manner, bracing for an impact and attempting to remain calm and collected. Arumuat's eyes had once again began to glow and he was now fighting Vincent and the undead attackers at the same time, unfazed by the illusions. Vincent was fighting leisurely, with only one sword. "Sure you don't want to run? You don't honestly think you can take us all on, with or without the help of a bunch of walking coffin-stuffers." Arumuat took a swing at him but missed before driving the pole part of the scythe in to one of the undead warriors that approached him. "You seem to be under the belief that this battle is one sided, but all members of my group are still standing and in perfect fighting shape, so the outcome is far from being in your favor." |

Anke [Dream World] Anke was still under the influence of her own spell, the world looked the same, but the situation was completely different. From inside her own allusion she watched her friends get slaughtered mercilessly, starting with Fenris, Akoko, Vivian and finally Vincent, each with a more gruesome death than the next. Anke had taken precautions before casting the spell to make sure she wouldn't react to the new situation. Her body was frozen to the spot and she was completely defenseless. In the back of her conscious mind she knew that her spell didn't have an effect on the one fighting Vincent, but he could handle himself, the rest seemed to be falling right into her trap. Anke would wake up as soon as one of them died, or figured out that they were in an illusion, and took the necessary measures to get out of the illusion. Getting out would be harder than they realized though. Even if they could tell they were under an allusion the magic was laced with darkness and took over the rational part of the victim's mind, and so it would take extreme will power, and the courage to see your worst fears come to life to break the spell. As the spell penetrated deeper into Anke's subconscious her visions became worse and worse. After watching her friends die, she watched her family die, the whole while she stayed alive and blood was pooled all around her. In the real world, she couldn't help herself from screaming out, "No I'm the one who is supposed to die first!!!" Then the nightmare grew worse and Anke fell to the floor completely still the effects of her counter spell kicking in to keep her subdued. She laid in the middle of the battled field with a group of ten skeletons circling around her to preform a protective barrier. |

[Village Outskirts] Vincent turned his head to Anke as he heard her scream out. "The hell was-" he quickly snapped his head back to Arumuat just as he began to swing. He tried to jump back but couldn't react in time. The tip of the scythe caught him and sliced him from his left shoulder down to his right side. Vincent took a swing at Arumuat to drive him off before jumping back and reaching up to the wound, wincing in pain. "That was rather careless of you. Although I cannot say I didn't expect as much from someone like you." Arumuat swung his scythe towards the ground, spraying the blood across the snow. Vincent looked down at himself, before raising his head back up to look at his opponent. "Yeah, I've got to agree with you on that, unfortunately. . . " he stopped as another surge of pain rushed through him. He drew the Angelus from it's sheathe and began to breathe steadily, attempting to stop his shaking from the shock. "It seems a little late to start getting serious, wouldn't you agree?" Arumuat said, before he once again began to fight off the hordes of undead. |

|D Sorry again for disappearing so suddenly. Finals are coming and assignments are piling OTL . [Village Outskirts] Aoko stood still, apparently is awed from the battle occurred around her. if it were her usual self, she wouldn't feel this way and would be more pumped up. But in this form she really couldnt do anything on her own. She glanced at all of her comrades, from the Vivian and Fenris duo to the now bloodsoaked Vincent. Finally, her gaze fixated at the familiar girl laid on the ground surrounded by ten skeletons. "ANKE!! Get a hold of yourself" Aoko rushed towards her, Ren the black cat followed beside her. Aoko kneeled near Anke as she started analyzing what just happened to her. She recalled the same symptoms as to what she has seen during her years as a travelling mage. "Magic poisoning? No.. There's no signs of her body getting devoured. Could it be this is one of those double edged magics?" Aoko glanced at Ren as she nodded. The black cat simply vanished into thin air, at the same time a bone-chilling wind just swept through the area near her. There's more to her than just an ordinary cat, it seems. [Anke's Dream world] The battle scenes in Anke's dream suddenly stopped, as if She's watching a DVD and someone just hit the pause button. A Girl in black and a blue hair suddenly appear, standing few hundred meters across Anke. She started walking towards Anke, as she showed her a smile.   |

Anke [Anke's Dream World] The horror story going on inside Anke's head was becoming quite the reality out side as Vincent found himself injured, but Anke was unaware of any of this. In the middle of the chaos everything stopped and a strange girl appeared. They were now surrounded by nothingness and the girl began to walk towards Anke smiling. "Who are you?" she asked. Staring at the girl intently. |

[Vivian][Village Outskirts] As the others ran off to fight their opponents while they were somewhat off guard, Vivian still stayed back for the defenses. This stuff has to be ready, just in case something really bad happens, Vivian thought. Vivian knew that she was more of the support type of person anyway. She concentrated her magic, and when she muttered a few words, a large ice wall appeared around her. It was somewhat of an illusion, and somewhat real. It would only allow her friends to walk through it, and not their opponents. It would also block any sort of attack from all sides. Well, except from above. But Vivian could take care of an attack from only one direction. It was much easier than being wide open to their enemy. The only downside to this wall was that now she couldn't see what was going on around her. Well, Fenris has to deal with that as well, Vivian thought. "So I'm missing the action," Vivian muttered to herself, "But I'm okay with that." As she tried to sit down, she cringed a bit, and almost fell face flat on the ground. She managed to get her balance back before she fell down all the way, and was in a kneeling position. What the..., Vivian thought, What's... going on? She slowly sat down, and thought of nothing as she caught her breath catch her breath. All of a sudden I seem so... Out of energy. Vivian sighed and put one hand on her forehead to take her temperature. Not hot, so it can't be a disease, Vivian thought, So, what is it? She thought about her powers bit more, and a thought came to her. It's how my body is adapting to my new powers. They say that this happens to many people when they suddenly get a new ability. Your body gets overworked much, much faster than it would under normal circumstances. So I guess that this is happening to me... She smiled, relieved that at least she knew what the problem was. Guess I shouldn't throw out these spells and stuff so fast. At least not yet. Thank goodness I took a few medical classes back at the Academy. Vivian closed her eyes for a bit, trying to relax. She then opened them, and looked up to the sky, listening to what was going on. It was the only thing she could really do at the moment. |

[Village Outskirts] Fenris wasn't sure if he had caught his enemy, but he decided to finish his attack anyway. The icicle Vivian had thrown struck Sven in the arm instead of hitting his heart due to the angle of approach. Fenris: Wind Dome! The area where the field of ice spikes had risen was surrounded by a dome inside of which a small tornado was blowing. Fenris: Shatter! The ice spikes shattered into millions of razor sharp pieces which were caught by the tornado causing them to severely wound Sven who was caught within the dome. After a few seconde Fenris released the magics he had been using and the dome disappeared causing a hail of ice fall on the surrounding area. He was breathing pretty heavily at this point having exhausted most of his energy. He heard Vivian breathing heavily too and sat down near her, leaning onto a wall he happened to find. Fenris: It seems were both a bit exhausted. The rest will need to finish the battle without us it seems. He smiled lightly when he heard Vivian muttering about "missing the action". Fenris: Action hasn't been in short supply lately, hopefully we can get a break from fighting and running after this little skirmish. |
