After walking for a bit, the group found a staircase... had to kill a few mutants on a way there... but it was easy with such a crowd. Hono: Well then, it seems like this is a way to a second level. I wouldn't risk going there with everyone... instead, me, Train and some volounteirs should be a scouting team. Everyone else - stay here. Those, who wish to join scout team - just silently follow us. |

~Desert Town Sable-Largo's Mansion~ Largo: "Now I remember, you're that Vandrake daughter. I knew it!" Night: "Leon...I mean Leona, what is the meaning of this?" Claw: "Prof. Night I presume, how about we take this matter outside where it was a little.....private" Leona: "I agree, let's go onii-chan" Night: "Okay, by the way Largo. I came here to report that the new excavation site have been raided by the orcs. Don't worry, I'll fix it but it needs time. Maybe 2 weeks from now" Largo: "Fine, 2 weeks it is. Now go!!" Night: "Thank you, I appreciate it. Let's go Leona" *walk ouside* ~Desert Town Sable-Outside Largo's Mansion~ Night: "So...What is this all about?" Claw: "I'm sorry to trouble you professor, let me explain to you right now" Night: "You mean about the accident of the Vandrake family" Claw: "So you knew, this might save us sometime" Night: "Go on" Claw: "A couple weeks ago, the Vandrake Mansion located in the Island of Sylph was visited by a strange man. Although we try to push him out, he still manage to beat us. Strangely, when this person see Master Vandrake he walks towards him and whisper something to his ear. After that he leave. No strange behaviour can be seen happen to Master Vandrake but one night, apparently 5 days ago he and his family member went missing" Night: "I see" Claw: "We finally tracked him and it was coming to this place but when we arrive it's already too late. We can't find anything but still we kept searching this place a little longer. Finally today, we find someone who report to see Leona-sama with you and we manage to track her. So, here we are" Leona: "You're late...hmmph" Claw: "We very much apologize about it" Night: "Well, what is your plan now?" Claw: "Rest, since we Felian is not very much love this place, we intend to get some rest first" Night: "Let's head to the inn first, we can talk more there" Claw: "I gladly accept the offer" *bows*   |

Hono: I don't know... it wasn't on a first level map... so i suppose it's on a second level - deeper... Anyway, someone may take the gun that orc had... and if there are good martial artists here - team up with the one who'll take a gun and follow us... the rest of you - follow us as well, but be far at least... Yeah, couple of martial artists should guard armless ones. Yeah, you may now turn on the lights, Train... i can't share my vision to everyone here... |

~Desert Town Sable-Largo's Mansion~ After walking for a while, Night and Leon arrive at the west gate. Beside the gate, there's a mansion which is odd if anyone look at the situation here. The mansion is full of green plant and flowers, little pond and tropical birds. It was like this place have been warped from another place. Even the climate is weird. As they enter, a butler came towards them escorted by a tiger. Malik: "Welcome Prof. Night, my master awaits you" *bows* Night: "Thank you Malik, it's a pleasure to meet you again" Malik: "It's an honour professor" Leon: "Nice garden you have here" *look surrounding* Malik: "Thank you......and may I know your name sir" Leon: "I'm Leon, Prof. Night's personal assistant" Night: "Errk...Leon~" *glance at Leon* Malik: "Oh is that true? Welcome Leon-sama" *bows* Leon: "Thank you Malik-san" Night: *sigh* "Show us the way in Malik" Malik: "Absolutely, right this way. Please follow me" *turnaround and walk towards the entrance* The mansion interior is decorated like an emperor's palace. Priceless antique and artifact is shown as display in every corner. Malik turn to a very large room. There's a long table inside the room and along the table is a group of man discussing some urgent matter. At the end of the table sit a large plump man with a big cigar in his mouth. He is wearing an expensive suit made from tiger skin. As they went in, Largo turn and greet them. Largo: "Hahaha!! Welcome Night...please take a sit" Night: "....." *sit on a chair infront him* Largo: "Gentlemen, maybe some of you know about this man here. This is Prof. Night, he is my lead researcher and my personal archaeologist. Currently he is excavating site near this city and actually found one of the greatest discovery of all time" Night: *stand up and bow to everyone* " Greeting everyone. Prof. Night at your service" Everyone bow slightly to Night as he sitdown on his chair. Largo suddenly notice about Leon who standing beside Night. Curiousity came to his mind, a Felian is extremely rare in this part of the city, but not recently. At one point he ask Night about his new partner. Largo: "Night, it seems that you brought someone with you. It's rare for you as it is rare to see a Felian here. Who is this?" Night: "This is my personal assistant Leon" Largo: "Since when you need an assistance, Night" Night: "Since now" Largo: *look intensely to Leon* "Why are you seems so familiar, Mr. Leon? Have we met before" Leon: "*sweating* "Ummm..." Before Leon could answer, a group of man dress in black suit came into the meeting room. Accompanied by Malik, they line up behind Night and Leon. A man who seems like the leader of the group came to the front. To Largo surprise, these group is also a Felian. Leon recognize these guys and stand firm beside Night. Largo: "Who are you and what is your business here?" Claw: "My name is Claw, I'm the head of personal guard of Vandrake family. I'm sorry to barge in but my present here is to pick the heir of the Vandrake industries" Largo: "And who is it? Everyone in here is not a Vandrake" Leon: *smirk* "You're late, Claw" Claw: "I'm sorry for making you wait, Miss Leona D. Erasure Vandrake the 4th" Night: *shocked* "WAIT!! Did I hear it right, Miss Leona? Tell me, is this true!! He is a she!!?" Claw: "Miss Leona-sama, it seems that you pull that prank again" Leona: "Teehee.." *smile* |

Train: *dashes from behind hono* an Orc.... What a guard...... I was tring to be suttle but guess that's out of teh question now.... *points his gun at the orc and fires a couple of rounds that hit the orc on the head* battle: train took the orc by surprise when he came from behind hono and fired at him. the bullet hit the orc in the head(-100% I.K.) killing it instantly Loot: Orc fang x1 train: it's helmet won't help it I used explosive rounds.... they blow up on contact and realesse a secondary projectile.... *realods his gun* evryone stay away fom the door *Shoots the Locks* now hono where the is the armory round here... |

@Shinji: Jeez... like i can keep up with everything :D I can only send you a summary of My/Train's story: Kaze,Hono met Train. Together arrived at another city to visit a fair. Found out that their own city is attacked by monsters. Returned to found the city burned down, but no corpses present. Currently trying to rescue citizens :) I can't really give total summary, since there's no primary story :) Story: Without saying a word, Hono smashes the door out and rushes forward on both legs and hands in a beast style... only to find unguarded cells. As Hono was standing there surprised that noone's around, as a small door at the side opened and an orc entered... When he saw Hono, he was as much surprised, as she was... But in a moment, they both came to senses, and... an orc pointed a crossbow at Hono. She lifted her hands up, taking a "give up" pose. Hono(mumbling): Damn... I have no luck... Train, it's all up to you now. |

~Desert Town Sable-Street~ Night and Leon walk out of the equipment shop. Night manage to obtain the new whip that he wanted and Leon get a new attire plus weapon. Both of them walk along the street looking around and greet people around there. Night actually have a meeting with Largo, the merchant who became his supporter so he decided to go to Largo's mansion. Night: "Leon, I have another business to attend to" Leon: "So?" Night: "Wanna come along or you want to go back to the inn" Leon: "Hmm....I think I stick with you onii-chan, beside there's nothing to do inside that small room" *smile* Night: "Okay, let's go" *turn left* Leon: "Where are we going?" Night: "To my friend's house, his name is Largo, a merchant" Leon: "Largo?...hmmm" *thinking* Night: "What's wrong, does that name tip something off your memory?" Leon: "I don't know, but it seems I'm familiar with that name" Night: "Your father's acquaintance maybe, since your father is a big merchant maybe he made deal with Largo before" Leon: "Maybe.......oh well, I can remember if I look his face. Where's his house?" Night: "At the west side gate near the fountain. If we walk straight here. we'll reach it soon" Leon: "Okay....." *look to the ground* |

Kurayami finally arrived at the nearest town.He was beaten,hungry and exhausted from the trip which took him 3 days to complete. "3 restless days...Tch...No food,No rest and nowhere to sleep..." and with these words Kurayami Collapsed because of fatigue. "Never thought I'd see you..." said a voice And Everything faded into Darkness for Kurayami.... When he woke up he was in a white room. He put his hand in his face and said "I died then...This must be~" "Dont say Heaven or you will really go there" said a familiar voice. "No?...This must be~" replied Kurayami to the voice "If you say hell Ill really make you go there." said the voice "Yes yes...I know Brother..." replied Kurayami to the voice and he sat up. "tch...Just lie down.Your weaker than I expected you to be..." said Kenji "Im beat and hungry...No food nor rest for 3 days.What do you expect?" said Kuryami "I expect you to do what you did.Coze your weak." Kenji said to his brother and stood up and went to the window then remained silent. "How long was I out?" asked Kurayami to break the silence. "A week." "I see...So where did you go?" said kurayami "None of your bussiness" replied his brother. "Ahh...Ok I get it..Ok ok...Ill sleep for a while." "Good.Ill be leaving for a while.get some rest" said his brother thne he left Kurayami without another word. Kurayami then slept. Meanwhile Kenji was wandering around town...Searching for something.... |

~Desert Town Sable-Equipment Shop~ Leon came out of the dressing room. He now wear a new black sleeveless T-Shirt, top with a denim jacket, a baseball cap, a jeans,leather boots and a handy backpack. As he went on and show his new attire, Marrick and Night look pale. The one that suppose to be the desert-wear have become the city-wear. Leon: "What?" Night: "N-Nothing" Marrick: "Y-Yeah, look so casual" Night: "Umm...Leon, are you satisfy with your pick? If you want, you can take another stroll" Marrick: "W-Wait, hey Night, are you trying to kill me?. Do you know how many hours he will spent for the next new attire?" Night: "Do you know how many days I need to spend with him? Have mercy on me" Leon: "What's wrong with you guys?" Marrick: "Well...err..Leon, Night ask you to choose your weaponry. I've got a list here. Wanna have a look?" Leon: "Really? That would be great. Let see...hmm" Marrick: "Leon, what is your specialty? I mean in term of weaponry, which type that you can handle well" Leon: "I'm best in archery I guess and also explosion. Really, I don't know which to pick" Night: "Explosion? wait till you hear how the first time he handle grenades. It was so good that he almost make me die of heart attack. Marrick: "Really? Wow" Leon: "Onii-chan!!" Night: "Sorry" Marrick: "Archery and Explosion. Turn to page 10 Leon" Leon: "Okay, what's this? 'Mad Bomber' and 'Tranquil Disaster' What kind of weapon is this?" Marrick: "'Mad Bomber is a heavy bow that use explosive arrow. It's damage is so high that it can wipe 2 to 3 monster in one go. Tranquil Disaster is a short light crossbow with explosive needles. It can shoot up to 5 needles in one shot but it is less damaging than the Mad Bomber" Leon: "Mad Bomber seems so heavy, I guess I take the Tranquil Disaster" Night: "Marrick, is there any light explosive that Leon can equip? Giving him standard grenade will shorten my life" Marrick: "Hehehe...sure. I've got two standard Miniature Pulse Grenade, 'Cyclone' and 'Heat' Which one?" Night: "Give him 'Cyclone' and make sure to tell him how to use it" Leon: "Hmmph!!" Night: "So Marrick, how much does this all cost?" Marrick: "50000 gold" Night: *sigh* "There goes my saving, how about you minus with the artifact's price?" Marrick: "Sorry, I deal in cash. The artifacts came later" Night: "Okay~" |

Hono: From what i see right now, there's a fork forward. If i'm correct - we should choose right one... since left one would lead us in a direction Kaze in... and that's opposite to where the prisoners should be... Hono and Train turned right at the fork. Hono: Right now step high, okay? Since the road is too cracked and you may trip. You should see some faint light at the end, right? I suppose that's where the prisoners are... |

Hono follows him... as Train turns on the light, she seems very displeased... Hono: Damn it... turn it off... hold my hand - i'm a cat-person - i have a night-vision. I doubt any mutant here has it... but they'll see the light for sure. I heard cat-people can share their night-vision... but i don't know if it's true... and i don't know how for sure. |

~Desert Town Sable-Equipment Shop~ Night browse the weapon list slowly as he seems to be interested in some of the merchandise. After a while Marrick came out from the back room and walk towards him. He's sweating heavily. Marrick: "Man, that guy is like a girl. It seems he want to browse everything on the display" Night: "So, where is he?" Marrick: "Still in the back room, I give up halfway when he said he want to look for a new boots. You really have to pay much for this Night" Night: "Don't worry about it. I've got the loot" Marrick: "Great. So Night, have anything that you interested?" Night: "I've listed 3 new whips in the list but actually I only need a pair, which one should I buy?" Marrick: "Okay, what is the name of the whips that you listed?" Night: *looking at the list* "The first one is 'Iron Splitter', the second one is 'Hydra's Toungue' and the last one is 'Silver Serpent'. I really don't know which one to buy" Marrick: "Let's see, Iron Splitter is a heavy whip that can cause really destructive damage but it reduce your mobility to move. It works best if you're fighting armored monster" Night: "I see" Marrick: "Hydra's Toungue is a light type whips. It was easy to use but less powerful than the standard one. Actually it was created to fight speedy monster and water element monster" Night: "How about the last one?" Marrick: "Well, the Silver Serpent is a balanced attribute whip. It is much more powerful than the standard one and It can be use in any type of battle but the user needs to learn how to control it first. So, what do you think?" Night: "Yup, pretty much" Marrick: "Night, can you double-equip weapon?" Night: "Not right now but maybe I can learn it next time. By the way, I need silver knives too, any reccomendation?" Marrick: "Okay, how about 'Slipstream'? It's light and fast but less damaging. Since your fighting style consist of whipping, you can use it as distraction" Night: "I'll take it" Marrick: "Okay, by the way is that young man need weaponry too?" Night: "Sure but I'll let him pick his own choice" Marrick: "Heh, lucky for me browsing for weapon is not as tiresome as browsing clothing" Night: "Oh I won't be so sure about that" Marrick: "Huh?" Leon: *walk out the back room* "Hey guys, what do you think of this?" |

Kaze: Well then... wait here until you hear the explosion... Having said that, Kaze left towards the easter side of the cave... in a few minutes, something exploded there... As predicted, the guards dashed there... some time passed... but no explosion happened... More guards dashed there from inside the cave. As Hono started worrying, the second explosion was heard. Hono: Now. I dunno what happened, but anyway - that's our chance. |

As the two brothers were running towards the cathedral they started to feel an intense evil aura in the area.And as they were nearing the cathedral the air around them was thick as syrup and had the color of acid. "What the hell is in the town and why werent we able to sense the presence before..." said Kurayami Kenji remained silent... "Well lets get this show on the road then." said Kurayami again to his surprise his brother made no answer. "Whats wrong with you?" "Hmp...Lets just get this thing over with.I dont like things that defile sacred things." and with that Kenji dissapeared. "tch...Whatever" -Cathedral- Inside the cathedral there was a man..or a monster in the form of a man. It was infact a man who had a bad mutation. "So this is whats doing these things to my lands?" a voice from the shadow said. "Who's ...Huh...There?" weezed the mutant. "'Darkness' is my name...But..You can call me Kurayami" said Kurayami stepping out of darkness with swords drawn. "Humans!You will die!" weezed the mutant "tch...So youre the one that caused this fog and monsters to come?" asked Kurayami "Human!Die by my hand!" weezed the mutant and he charged at Kurayami "youre not going to answer then?" Kurayami evaded the attack and counter attacked But the mutant blocked the attack and counter attacked Kurayami.Kurayami got hit in the shoulder and legs and they were bleeding. "tch..not weak as you look..." Kurayami at this point jumped back and was kneeling while holding his injuries. "DIE!!!" weezed the Mutant and he charged at Kurayami for a second time. "tch..so this is it?" kurayami said to himself. "No.This isnt it!" When the voice said that there was a flash of blades and the mutants Head got cut of and Kurayami saw his elder brother standing there with a serious face. "Run Kurayami.This Mutant isnt whats causing this fog.We gotta escape this place.I now know what does cause this fog.We cant defeat it nor do we have to try.It is futile." said Kenji. "B-but!" said Kurayami but was interuppted. "Just do as I say!Ill meet up with you when I do.Head to the nearest town.Ill meet you there." said Kenji. "Alright..." and despite his injuries Kurayami stood up and limped out of the cathedral. "This time its personal..." said Kenji and he went the other way. |
