@IM Players - Due to the sudden stall, here is my proposal, I moved the plot forward to the events that will lead up to chapter 4. What happens in between like snake's battle can be explained in a flashback. Agreed? @UTPBS Players - Everything suddenly stalled? Waiting for someone to post here, preferably Aoi as I'm interacting with his character now.    |

@Roxas - As far as I know, a few people are out at the moment. I had planned to get a post done yesterday, but didn't get around to it. I'm working a lot more than I originally expected to at the start of the summer, so I find it hard to get the energy to post. I should have time tomorrow though, since I plan to avoid games or anything after getting home.   |

@ Jon- As far as I know, we're still planning on that ending project. I haven't been able to do much with it recently between my vacation, AP Summer Work, and requests. All that I know for sure about it is that I'm writing up Vivian and Fenris's ending part of it. If you want to know what you should do if you want to help out with it then I think you should talk to Fenris about that (I know I'm not too much help with this, Fenris is the one who is doing most of the planning for this ending project >.>). As a little side note, I made quite a bit of progress with the Harvest Moon RP I've been planning on doing while on vacation, I think the only things I have left to do are to just write up the main plot, add the rules, and then just organize things a bit better. This Harvest Moon RP is going to be my first RP that's based off of a series, so I hope it does okay (Then again, that might be asking for too much seeing how RP's are nowadays. I really just hope that I'll get enough players to fill enough roles to start it). I'll probably be starting it sometime after the 24th of July.  |

@Roxas; For IM, I don't know what to post especially with the recent events in the rp. Sorry @Toyumi; Welcome back, Toyumi. Glad to have you back. @All; I am planning a Exorcist rp, most likely will post it on Sunday or so. The exorcist rp is not based on Blue Exorcist nor D.Gray-man. I had already did some research on real exorcist and exorcism before planning it. The rp setting will be after World war 2 in Paris, France. It is Exorcist versus Demons with a hint of mystery in it. I will reveal more later if you think this rp is good. I would appreciated it if you commented on this idea of mine instead of ignoring it. Thank you.  |

@Zero honestly, I'll have to say nay for the idea. It's nice, but with all these RPs lately, adding more is just...redundant. Wait it out a few more months, then we can try to discuss that idea further.  |

-Edit- @Zero - I've already explained why I don't comment on RP ideas in a previous post. @Toyumi - Good question. I RP for the same reason why I play RPG's so much and love them; I like to get a good story and have some fun while getting it. I enjoy imagining everything that I, and other members like me, have created in terms of story, characters and events. I like to try and play different kinds of characters, as well as trying to interact with characters that other people have created. In all honesty, RP'ing let's me do the things I want to do in real life (such as be an actor, animator/writer or game designer) but can't (due to my lack of skill, self-esteem, vocal ability, drawing ability, programming ability, etc. -_-). It's a little difficult to explain I guess. As for how my life would be different, I think it would change quite a lot. If I wasn't RP'ing here, I'd probably be wasting that time doing something far less stimulating (not that I make much use of my time as it is). I don't know if I would ever go RP somewhere else. I don't feel right about just jumping straight into another forum's RP section. I would have to take some time to get to know a few of the members, find out how they like to do things, what kind of style they like to use. I'm really comfortable here, so I'm hoping that I never have to go somewhere else for my RP'ing needs. Finally, I would like to hear your ideas for Pokemon. I know where to take the plot at the moment (probably up until Verain), and I have some ideas as to the overall plot, mainly related to plot twists and such, but I would like to hear your ideas on what we should do in the foreseeable future. Any ideas from Haseo and Fenris are welcome as well. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @Toyumi - Fenris actually got in touch with me afterward and said that he still plans to go ahead with everything. I'm just waiting to hear from him on when I should start writing an ending for my character. I may have to write one for Anke's character as well using the base idea she laid out, since she isn't as active anymore. Pokemon RP - I've already explained things in my last post, so I don't need to go repeating it here. The short version is that I will close the RP if the cast loses another person (3 people is not enough to justify keeping the RP going in my opinion). Since there are only 4 of us left, I'll only be making my posts after the other 3 RP'ers have made theirs. Shouldn't really be a problem since Fenris, Toyumi and Haseo are normally around. Finally, I realize that Haseo just posted, so I'll be posting again tonight or tomorrow. Still having a difficult time deciding what to do with the story. Under the Pale Blue Sky - I'm currently waiting on Anke to post. If I don't see any activity from her in the next few days then I may just go ahead and find a way to post around her. |

@ Zero- Personally, I haven't ignored your RP ideas, I just don't really have anything to comment about that would make it better or something. As for your latest idea, I agree with Naru's opinion, to maybe wait a month or two before trying it out. @ Jon- I have a few ideas about where the plot for the Pokemon RP could go, if you need some help with it. If you want to hear any of my ideas for it, then just PM me (Maybe you could include whatever ideas you have for the RP as well, so I won't just totally override whatever you have planned?). @ All- First of all, within two weeks this club will have it's first anniversary! Congrats to everyone, for staying active here and making this such a success! Now, I had a few questions pop into my head last night about RPing. Not sure if one of them has already been asked or not, but if it has, then it's been awhile so I suppose it could be asked again. Why do you RP? And how different would your life be without RPing here on Gendou (Would you just RP somewhere else, or what)? |

@Zero I really don't have any comment and I haven't visited this thread for quite some time. I haven't join any new RP's lately because, I'm kinda..uhh.. disturbed for personal matters. @Yumi well, I also do RP with this specific site but it's not that really good than here. First, there's no moderation and second, a lot of RP would turn out to be cyber so I kinda lost interest. Yeah, I tried it but I realized it's not worth it. Another thing is goodness, they use text language which is so annoying since I'm getting it hard to understand it clearly. RP is one of my favorite hobby besides from writing stories. I RP because it helps me to think of some ideas for a story so I don't think I would quit doing RP. I would prioritized this RP in gendou than that site. |

@Zen:I agree.Ain't finding better RP sites than Gendou. @Roxas:Well,the number of players are getting lesser by days.It's no surprise that the place's awfully quiet. Me?Well,I just happened to have loads of ideas coming out so much but have nowhere to land.In short,I just love RP ;D My RP's been delayed for quite some time...Next Wens would be good time to begin,though at present,it's could use more players who had experience with ships(or sea traveling). |

@Roxas - Not sure where everyone is gone. Quite a few people seem to be missing or otherwise inactive, seeing as how few RP's are actually getting any posts. @Zen - That's another reason I would prefer to stay here and RP. For the most part, grammar and spelling are pretty good here. There are also moderators around all the time to solve issues with users (not to mention that Gendou doesn't hesitate to ban people who go around causing trouble). This forum is a really pleasant place to RP. Not to say that Gendou is the only site out there with these traits, but I find it a bit difficult to look for one that is comparable. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Before I get to my RP updates, I just want to wish everyone here a happy first year anniversary. It's August 9th where I am, so I thought I would do it now while I have the chance. Can't believe that it's been a year already. It feels like I only joined this club 6 months ago. I'm glad to see that the club has been growing steadily since it started, and I sincerely hope that we can all celebrate a second year anniversary next August. I would love to do something special for this anniversary, but I can't really think of anything to do (plus, I'm not good at drawing or Photoshop). Finally, I want to congratulate Toyumi on her success with this. You did great work with this club, and I hope you keep it up through the next year. I've RP'd with you and Fenris quite often over the 2 years since you guys joined, so I hope that you will still be around in the future. Most of my old RP buddies are long gone now (such as Sagara, Kenji [to a certain extent], Ryu, Bloodymoon [Who is still here, however I don't RP with him anymore]), so it's nice to have some good friends around that I can keep an eye out for in RP's. I have more people in that group, but I will avoid naming names in case I leave anyone out. So "Happy 1st Anniversary" members of the Gendou RP'ers United Club, and keep up the good work Toyumi. I'm proud to be a member of this group. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now, as for updates, there's not a whole lot to say. Under the Pale Blue Sky - Story is moving forward, but no-one has posted over the past few days. Not sure where everyone is to, but I'm hoping things pick up again soon. We also had a new member join, and he/she has posted their character profile in the most recent post. Pokemon: Journey to be a Master - There's only three of you in the RP, so this update isn't really called for, but I should do one anyway. Since it is only the four of us, I'll be doing my best to make one post after everyone else has posted. Still waiting on Haseo at the moment, so after he gets back into things we will move on. I'm glad to see that you guys are still willing to stick with the RP despite the fact that it's only 4 people. In all honesty, I actually think that the RP is working much better now with so few people. It keeps things moving quickly and keeps it interesting. It's also a lot easier to follow along with events and the posts of others. Anyway, we'll see how this goes. After the group gets to Verain, I'll be combining Toyumi's story idea with my own. Using Toyumi's ideas, I have a better understanding of how the story will generally play out. As for the character specific plots, we're still working on that. Toyumi's character is already filling out her role, and I'm fine with mine, so I just need to work out some details on Fenris and Haseo's roles (Especially Haseo's, since it is so open ended). |

@ Jon- I guess I RP for most of the same reasons as you, I love imagining the story and events in a RP, and it's a fun way to get a good story. Thanks for the congratulations with this club! (Even though you're flattering me too much >.>) I can see myself being at least somewhat active RP-wise for the next two years (At least until I have to go away for college), but I'll probably end up being active RPing for much longer than that. Also, 6 months is half a year, so if it feels like you joined 6 months ago it doesn't seem like too short of a time really. Just pointing that out. XD And as a final note; I'll try to post in UtPBS when I can, but I'm kind of prioritizing posting in the Pokemon RP first since Fenris and I are going to have a battle there. Although, my birthday is coming up (In the next two days to be exact) and I'm going to be kind of busy (Kind of busy meaning that I have something going on everyday but it's not necessarily all day) until the 15th, so my posting in either of the two RP's might take awhile. @ Zen- Yeah, if they use text language then I would probably not go to that site for Rping. I don't even use most text language when I text/IM others. >.> @ Roxas- I really hope that everyone is just on vacation or busy, since it's been so quiet recently (There wasn't even a post in Gendou City at all yesterday). @ All- Happy first anniversary! I want to thank everyone for making Gendou RPer's United so active and such a success in the past year. I never could have made this club such a success on my own. I hope we can all keep it up and keep this club active so we can see more club anniversaries in the future. On another note, I've decided to scrap the Harvest Moon RP idea (Or at least, save it for another time since I kind of lost interest in it >.>), but I have another one in mind. I don't really want to give too many details away just yet, so I won't say much about it other than the fact that I don't plan to have it up until late August at the earliest (Hopefully activity will pick up a bit again at that time). |

Well I don't see myself stopping RP'ing anytime soon. It gives me something to do with my mind (that likes to run wild). And more than once it also has brightened my day considerably. Also sticking with RP's is something I tend to do, afterall we stuck with Free and Dream with basically just two of us and without the creator and look where that ended up. Well I'm not the most active member of the club, but I still hang around, so let's keep going and see where we end up.   |

@Snake, Jon and Yumi. Yep. It's actually a chat site. At first, it caught my attention because of the fast reply of the players but after a month, I lost interest. Sure, there are some people there are decent enough to play with but the general people only find it as a site for cyber so they keep on asking bla bla bla. As like Jon said, unlike here, there are moderators to maintain order in the site. As of now, I don't think there's any other site comparable in Gendou RP. Long live to the Gendou RP'ers lol. (And I'm actually proud that I belong to this group lol.) HAPPY ANNIVERSARY~ :3 Edit: Yeah Yumi, I don't use text language in chat and forum. I only use it in phone or even use proper English words sometimes. A friend motivates me to use English language properly even though it's chat(Skype,YM,MSN,FB etc) lol. |

Well I'm not a very active member here either but I do stick around and watch for updates and help the SoMI RP live while the creator is gone. Also, happy 1st year anniversary! Wow, a whole year, now lets try and reach the 5 year mark!   |

First off, I'd like to wish this club happy anniversary! It's been a good year; I know I haven't been too terribly active in this club, but I never pass up a post to read when someone posts here. It's been an honor to be in this club since day one. If it weren't for this club, most of you would still be strangers to me, and I thank you all. Secondly, I like to give a more personal congratulations to Toyumi herself. Youve been on top of everything with this club, whether it's something minor look updating the avatars on the first page, or engaging in discussion, you're there, and you do one heck of a job. Keep it up c: And as for why I Rp and where, I had rp'ed a bit before I even really got active in the Gendou community, but it was never as satisfactory there as it is here. I rp because it's a fun way to try new writing styles as well as work on your own style. It's been an honor to be able to rp with you guys. @SRT: Woah, 5 years? Don't go getting ahead of yourself, haha. I'll only be regularly active for 2 more years if that. My post count is starting to slow down, and it's just really not the same to post anymore. After all, I don't come to forums to just rp, I come here to engage in discussions as well, which the Waste of Time section and Rps cannot fulfill alone. But once college hits, it's straight to a 4 year university for me so I will rarely have any time. Then after undergrad, I'll have 3 years of law school and them I'm off into the world and really won't have much time for Gendou if any, since I'll have a family to focus on then.

So it's the club anniversary huh? Well congrats and all that. Well, I haven't been active in Gendou RPs, is that I RP on other sites and moderate on them too, so I've been busy helping with the renovations the admin's doing on the site, and since I'm on break for now, I have been lurking around the forums. To answer the question, I've been RPing for about 4 years now, starting with Myspace (shiver), then Gendou, then other sites. RPing here is mostly a hobby to pass the time away from the chat room. My posts here may have been slowing down, but I've been quite active everywhere else. But to be honest, the WoT threads are kinda pushing back the RPs back a few pages, so if one wanted to make a post in a RP, they actually have to look past the first two pages just to do so. Other than that, even in college, I still manage to find time to RP. Mostly random RPs work for me, and I like to use characters with personalities, not OCs. OCs are hard to work with, in my opinion. It's fun RPing with you guys, so if we made like random RP threads, it'd make Gendou City get more attention. And oh my god that's the longest thing I typed this week. |
