I hope all the characters are somewhat different. I can understand some being the same, but I think Rukia, Renji, Toshiro and the pair of 3rd seats in the 13th have changed around some. Maybe Soifon has changed for ya, haha! I'd also like to see some other subtle changes, perhaps, and new abilities rather than the same old stuff. But yeah, they're known to not wear them sometimes especially when it deals with Ichigo. I'm really starting to lean towards Rukia, though, which is partially just from talking here. If it ends up being someone else, I'm gonna have to have some revenge on you for aiding in me changing my mind around over and over, lmao. Chapters need to get here! |

Well a year and a half passed in Bleach roughly, and that must be like 10+ years at least in Soul Society for sure. I mean even during the flashback arcs... actually, the captains looked the same... Oops... XD But still, I'unno, even Ichigo barely changed. I'm expecting something like post-Shippuden, that was a nice significant change, but I'm not expecting the chances of that happening in Bleach too high. They're sort of lazy with that stuff I guess. Plus if they make Ichigo's bankai and him only having one move the entire series thus far, can't expect much regardless. The only reason like Byakuya and Yoruichi changed was because they were younger and grew up, but most of the captains that remained captains after the later-Vizards left, didn't change at all. I'm not really expecting them to learn any real moves either, I'm only expecting someone like Hitsugaya to have the most significant change since he was still a kid. He's at least older into his later teens now and his bankai will have certainly matured more. Other than him nobody else will/might not have changed that much.

Yeah Toshiro should have some changes, which I'm hoping for [but I hope they aren't extreme so that his character loses the feel he had before] since Toshiro is kinda my favorite character of the series. Since the past, I know Ukitake changed his hair style and Nanao grew up quite a bit, so maybe we'll see some changes like that from the characters. At least some new styles with their clothing or hair, if nothing else. I can also see certain characters getting new skills [specially Rukia and Renji] as they grow in power. I also wonder if the Captain slots were filled -- they should have been, after all. I could seriously see Renji as a Captain, maybe even Ikkaku if he got forced into it. Either way there's a lot of things from soul society I want to see what happened to 'em. and as a whole, most characters should look different on at least some level, since Kubo's drawing style changed ever so slightly right after the Ichigo v. Ulq fight. Which brings up a point that Im not sure if I said a few posts back, but I really enjoy Kubo's art since he made the subtle changes. He's really improved his drawing, even if his story telling ability/style has left fans frustrated. |

If the captains aren't chosen yet, then that's a poor decision for KT. Although that Amagai Shuusuke arc was a filler arc (more or less a favor for Yamamoto's idiot decision), it's been so long and they should have all of the Captains chosen (though there's no huge threat yet...). Honestly I wish Hisagi became a captain and developed a bankai, then again he didn't manage well after revealing his ever cool first sight of his release. He's always grown stronger but I don't think he can handle the big boys yet, and Ikkaku who already has bankai, would look hella cool as a captain with the cloak. He's friends with Hisagi and Kira so it wouldn't be too difficult to adjust to the situation. Someone to fill in for Aizen for Momo though would be pretty tough. Aizin? And yeah you say the art style changed, but I don't think it changed at all. Maybe some slight features, but artistically nothing changed. There's no real improvement, I've seen anime where a new remake totally changes everything (Negima). Even within DBZ and Naruto had major drawing changes here and there that were visably noticeable. The clothes they wear I think help make you think that, cause normally we're used to seeing everyone in their gi or Shinigami uniforms, with freestyle street fashion like the Vizards and Ichigo's regular fashion, it can change things especially after growing a year. Another note I think Renji has the power to become a Captain, however I think he's too loyal for Byakuya, and also he makes poor decisions sometimes and struggles against certain opponents. He does have bankai and improves, but until he gives Byakuya a true fight, he won't be Captain. But old man Yamamoto would make those biased decisions (but with Renji I might be right), cause Byakuya doesn't let Rukia rank higher than a 6th seat because of those crazy large battles with the Espada for example. Someone like Renji could not beat that big guy Byakuya beat easily. If anyone became a Captain, I'd say Ikkaku, Hisagi (only if he gained a bankai by then), then Renji. If Kira somehow gained a bankai, holy crap he'd be insanely strong. I'm like the only one who loves his Zanpakutos ability so much, people don't realize how useful it is, and if he had a better flash step he'd take his opponents out with ease.

If you go back to the time around the Ulq fight, you'll see subtle changes. I'm not talking like a whole new style and all, but Kubo improved little things here and there, and added the addition of some new styles for comical scenes. Check out when Ichigo is traveling back to Karakura, when Unohana is conversing with him, and he's got those panels where he's kinda chibi-ized but not. Since then that same style like appeared in scenes. There have also been slight changes and improvements over facial features and fine details in hair/clothing. It's all subtle, but it's there. It's been talked about occasionally by some other friends of mine as well, and I've seen some discussions about it here and there on some other places. For the Captains, I agree fully with Renji. However I think he's gotten a lot stronger since we last saw him, and possibly evolved the power and ability of his Bankai. I don't know if he can take Byakuya, but I wouldn't say it's impossible. I would LOVE to see Shuuhei as a Captain. He's up there in my top 5 characters, and soemtimes sneaks in as top 3. I've always liked his character and the way he portrays himself. Especially when it comes to combat, I love his style and Shikai. Before he used it, I always got the feeling he almost held back in most battles, and that he had a pretty powerful Shikai. He ended up with an interesting one indeed. If he developed Bankai? Oh man, I couldn't wait to see that. and I agree with your ordering, too. After all Renji tried to get Ikkaku to take up a Captain's role, and while he wanted to hide his power and stay in the 11th, it may have gotten to the point where he couldn't go on hiding it and avoiding his responsibility to himself and to soul society. Hisagi is the next obvious choice, and then Renji. Even with his Bankai, you always got the idea Ikkaku and Hisagi were better suited for a leadership role. Especially with his struggles and decisions he makes in the field. That's not to say he couldn't have imporved in the time skip, though. Only time will tell ~ [is that a pun? I tihnk I used a pun without intended to, LOL] For Kira, he could be a Captain if he had his Bankai and really grew into his role as a leader. He has a great ability and could make it better by becoming stronger and training, but I get the feeling he may not be ready by the time we see him again. Then again a lot could have changed with him. There's so many questions and not enough chapters to answer them! @.@; .. |

Renji's bankai progresses the fastest only because he see's better external action being with Ichigo's group. If Byakuya just sat at home while Renji were on ALL these fights, he could probably match him formidably, however Byakuya has the killer-instinct warrior mentally and gets stronger with each fight significantly like a Saiyan. He's like the Vegeta to Ichigo's goku... if that makes sense? Also Rukia has a lot of moves so if you wanna be a Lt. at least you have to be able to beat her easily. However be prepared for instant yet painful death when Byakuya finds out. Hisagi is a young gun, very smart, strong, but not there yet since he has no shikai abilities yet. Unless you develop abilties for your shikai, your bankai probably won't be that exciting. Kira has a unique non-Reiatsu using ability into his Zanpakuto, and Ikkaku can change the form of his as well as Renji's stretching ability. Ikkaku and Hisagi were both influenced under good Captains, Ikkaku would mirror Kenpachi a lot and always want to be on the battlefield to have an interesting fight, and Hisagi would be more of a leader and take special roles of developing strategies. Some like Kira and Renji would be there for support, and Renji being one of Ichigo's closer allies, would probably leave a lot to help secretly, where if he was a normal Captain, he'd have too much paperwork and duties to follow. And no I don't think that was a pun, so stop thinking you're hot s#it, loser.... dadadadadaddgfsdfhht...j/k... XD What sucks for Kira is that Gin left and eventually had to die in another cliche way, a way I saw a mile ahead before it even happened. And yes questions that will never be answered, the cliche of anime sadly.

I think Shuuhei's Shikai is pretty good, considering the way he can use it. I think he could have some abilities and whatnot aside from his normal attacks, too, that maybe weren't fleshed out or developed yet. He's really good with Kidou, I do believe, so that's an added aspect to his character's strength. He'd be a good leader, yeah. I think even if Byakuya appeared to sitting at home, though, his skill is enough to hold his own against most and his character type wouldn't see him just laying around not improving his ability in some way, I don't think. If he was like that though. it'd be interesting to see how Renji looked in a fight against him. Ikkaku would .. yeah, he'd be just like Kenpachi. Always looking for fights, raising hell on the battlefield and rushing in, while someone like Shuuhei leans back and develops an expert strategy, leading troops tactically. Kira's abilities, meanwhile, could really turn into something cool with further development of himself and his zanpakuto. For Gin dying, that was dasgfhdsgf. Still thought while the revelation and whatnot was cool, and I liked the fact he was pulling the double cross, I thought the way he went out was pretty lame. Mostly because he was a pretty cool character. No Pun this time, BUT BEWARE OF THE LAME PUNS THAT SHALL CONSUME YOU. O_O! |

Hisagi, like Hitsugaya, needs time to mature since Hisagi is also pretty young. He's also a prodigy in his own right, not up to that level like Hitsugaya, but he'll make it big one day soon. As for Byakuya, I always said he was the 4th strongest (behind the 3 obvious veterans). Kenpachi is strong as hell, yeah, but Byakuya respects his strength enough not to mess with him on a disrespectful level. Byakuya's no joke, anyone with Bankai abilities (especially his, which are ruthless) is a legit warrior. Lame puns don't consume me cause they're lame, lol. Don't be offended by what I said after (rofl~~). Anyways new chapter this week which I just read, spoilers if you follow from here on... This fight is dragging out a bit. Riruka and Orihime having a special moment together for some reason, oh because it was 'OVER DONUTS".... but Orihime was cute wanting those donuts though. lol, now KT is making Orihime a moe character?? What's this all about? The fight's dragging on and damn Ichigo got cut in the eyes, that must hurt like crazy. Also as your notice, his shikai form is coming back which is lame. His zanpakuto is taking more shape and it looks more like his regular zanpakuto, wtf?!?!?! To side with it somehow, it looks a bit smaller than his usual big one, but c'mon, is there seriously going to be nothing new?

Bleach data book 3: UNMASKED has been released and I've got some info for ya'll to digest. -Harribel (and apparently her fraccions) are confirmed alive, the only surviving espada, she was apparently healed by Orihime. -Grimmjow confirmed dead. -Yammy’s fraccion was his dog. -Stark is dead -Harribel's hollow hole is in her womb. She died giving birth which makes sense given her aspect of death: "Sacrifice" -A comic consisting of Ulquiorra's backstory: "Not be, But be". It seems that even Vastro Lordes can remember thier past lives. Also Ulquiorra's original hollow form is shown. Damn Aizen knocked up Hallibel? I can imagine what her daughter would grow up to look like. Read the latest chapter recently, and guess Ichigo got his powers back. And Ginjou's gonna die? lol, I thought it was funny how Ichigo "saw" Ginjou's reiatsu when he can't even surpress his.

O.o!! Grimmjow is dead??? Anyways, read the latest chapter. I can't say that I liked Ichigo's "outfit", but it was kinda cool (though it looks like skullclad Ichigo from the movie, lol). The sword is awesome, btw. Ok, so now I'm really convinced that Ginjou is a good guy. I really have doubted him and that increased with last week's chapter where he slashes Ichigo's eyes. But now, I think he really is a good guy. The best part (for me) of this week's chapter was the last part. At first, I thought Rukia was the one visited, but when Yuzu mentioned cousin, I immediately crossed her out as the visitor. And Tsukishima was a shocker! Is he really a cousin of Ichigo's?? lol  |

I'm personally not digging his outfit either, I even prefer his bankai uniform over this, but I guess since he's not a Shinigami technically anymore, he can't use those outfits anymore. But the outfit seems too generic and I can't really seem to dig it (maybe cause it's too tight). However if he has his hollow powers, it would look cool since it'd match (plus longer hair). His new weapon is, meh, I think I might like the incomplete version a bit more cause it was larger. And yeah I didn't expect the ending of the chapter the way it did, I thought it was gonna be Rukia, too. But yeah, I'm confused where like, the story is going, lol...

Yeah, I liked the incomplete form because it resembles his shihakusho. He now more looks like a "superhero" to me. lol Now I'm thinking after what Tsukishima had done to Inoue and Chad, that his FB is more than "it cuts through anything". I don't know what it is but I'm pretty sure he has done it to Yuzu too (if he is really not Ichigo's cousin, lol). And yes, I'm confused too, where the story is going. Its like it has no direction yet to where its going to be. |

Yeah I mean a FB is just a weapon and only Mrs. Dirty Bootz so far had her form change (cause her boots were her weapons). I guess his new outfit is more like armor to protect him maybe? Cause he's still maybe vulnerable? Ginjou also said that he has his powers back, or is starting to. His FB is complete so this is what we all waited for... lol, pretty lame. About Tsukishima, I thought before that it can like confuse you or hypnotise you if he "stabs" you. Maybe he can like manipulate your thoughts at will if he stabs you, I'unno. He does look a bit like Ichigo's family though, maybe not Ichigo cause he's randomly orange headed. I somehow sense another useless backstory again that Bleach constantly has. And not sure how Ichigo doesn't remember him if they are related, but I'unno. Also another question, since he does have his powers back, he won't be able to use getsuga tenshou anymore right? Cause technically he doesn't have a "zanpakuto", he just has a "FB", but since he's a former shinigami the only real powers he'll regain is maybe his hollow powers? Cause he never learned cero or any kudou, yes he only had ONE FREAKING MOVE! Ginjou said that his new powers will pass that of a Shinigami, so maybe new powers????

Hoho! I've read the chapter and all I can say is poor Ichigo. It feels like he is in a horror movie, but instead of running for his life, he's running away from his friends and family who's under Shuu-chan's spell or whatever it is (gave me the creeps). Then Ikumi came, and I thought "ok, he's found someone now", but then she's also a victim of Shuu-chan's (another chill goes up my spine! lol). I've never seen Ichigo like that since Yammy and Ulquiorra beat him up way back in the start of the HM arc. Then the Xcution too, has been "captivated" by Shuu-chan except for Ginjou (naturally), lol. Ichigo has nowhere to go now. I hope what Urahara, Isshin and the mystery shinigami are doing will be revealed soon. Kudos to Kubo for this chapter. I've never read a Bleach chapter like this before. I hope he keeps this up! XD Btw, Ichigo's eyeballs were focused many times here than any other chapters. lol |

Yeah it's a different type of chapter, since with Bleach it's always just Ichigo fighting someone. I might be onto something about Tsukashima's ability of like memory manipulation. Though how did he get the other FB people, where was Ginjou??? And yeah Ichigo's eyeballs were the main character this chapter. And yeah, where is the new Shinigami?? I hate when they just tease it, and naturally you'd think it's in the next chapter (even if it's at the end) they sway somewhere else.

For the past two chapters, Ichigo has really lost it. As this chapter's title suggests, "End of Bond 1", he is going to loose his bond with his friends and family.As long as they are under Shuu-chan's "Bookmark" powers, if Ichigo attacks Shuu-chan, they will think of Ichigo as the enemy. Poor Ichigo. XD And its not surprising to see Inoue and Sado in the end as they have been bookmarked by Shuu-chan. I think the worst has yet to come. But if Ishida, or Isshin and Urahara shows up next week, it will be a phase changer. |

They're really dragging on who that mystery person is, aren't they? Seems like they're the only ones who can help Ichigo. I hate when Ichigo's all reckless and wants to kill someone, he never thinks at all (he's like the older [er younger] Naruto). If Ginjou's still by his side which should be the case, Ichigo will be fine, but he'll probably have to fight his friends as well. If Tsukushima hurt Ishida (cut his friggin' arm off!!) then wouldn't Ishida be under control as well? Although so far from the images we saw lately, he doesn't seem affected. He seems fine, but wonder how his arm got cut off... It's starting to drag out a bit though, hopefully something intense happens soon!

ive got this weird feeling that its going to turn out such that tsukushima guy says "oh, im different/i was bullied, no one liked me. so i have this ability to make everyone my friend, and i dont want to lose it". then ichigo, after cutting him up like crazy is going to go touma lecture mode and say some heart warming things. then tsukushima is going to be like "okay..." and give up his powers and ichigo gets his powers back and then they become good friends. and then BAM, next horrible arc begin, and we forget about all about these characters.

Y'know what? that gave me an idea why tsukushima's FB is from a bookmark and about the ability FB is made up from something important right? he's bookaholic and not a social person... prolly lonely on the way, wanna make some friends... then WHAM FB of his desire
