Aeon | Village Aeon was looking around the village, wondering where everyone went. Ever since he felt the bursts of energy stop, he had been unable to detect more. He jumped from rooftop to rooftop, trying to find any sign on someone he know. After a while of doing this he was finally able to find Vincent. Getting closer to him he also saw that he was with a young girl. Deciding that finding one of his companions was good enough for now he stopped his search for anyone else and jumped down beside Vincent. "Hey, fancy meeting you here" Aeon said to Vincent. "I thought you guys would be easier to find, but since Vivian and Fenris took off somewhere, you're the first person I was able to find, you know where anyone else is?" "And whose this girl?" he asked Vincent "She looks a little young for you." |

[Village] "You think?" he said as he looked down at her. "Give her about ten years and maybe she'll be my type." he said with a chuckle. "She's actually a new. . . ally we discovered, I suppose that would be the correct term. She is having a bit of a problem at the moment however, some kind of magic side-effect." He looked around a bit, attempting to find tracks nearby in the snow. "As for everyone else, I'm afraid it's just us. We got separated during an attack by some of the little girl's friends."    |

Fenris [Village] Fenris kept walking steadily towards the approaching Stormcallers, as he felt Vivian resting against his shoulder. There was silence as neither could find the words to express their feelings. They had been crossing a frozen river when one of the ropes holding the bridge they were on had snapped, causing them to fall down unto the frozen river. Fenris had managed to twist his body into cushioning Vivian's landing, as they landed on the river ice with an audible thump. During the fall Fenris had hugged Vivian tightly, so that she wouldn't end up under him and now he could feel her breathing on his face. Fenris: Are you okay, Vivian?   |

[Vivian][Village] Vivian was resting comfortably as Fenris carried her until they came to a bridge. She didn't say anything because Fenris would still be walking straight across the bridge, so there wasn't a need to say anything to him. Then, the cable holding the bridge snapped; probably due to the cold weather. "Eiiiaahhh!" Vivian yelled as she and Fenris were in a free fall down into the river below them. She had a very... Strange yell, to say the least. As they were falling, Vivian noticed that Fenris was able to move his body under hers, and when they landed on the icy river, he was under her. "Are you okay, Vivian?" Fenris asked her. Vivian took a moment to respond, as she had her breath knocked out of her because of the sudden fall. "Yes," She responded, "I'm okay. At least Anke wasn't with us, or else she would be something close to dead now, due to her heart." She laughed a little at this before she continued. "Well, I think we should get up now, shall we?" Vivian asked. She then tried to get up on her own, only to fall on top of Fenris again. "Crap, that fall really must have gotten me by surprise," Vivian said, "I don't even have the strength to get up. Do you think you could get both of us out of here? Let's see... Once you get up, just go to the left... Until you get to a small wall. And then go right, until you get to the bridge. Next to the bridge, there's a ladder to get out of here." She paused for a moment to catch her breath. "Can you hold me with one hand?" She asked him, "You'll need the other to find the ladder."  |

Aeon | Village "Well two people passed through my barrier that way" he pointed towards the area where he saw the one with the bow headed "and that way" he pointed towards the area of the barrier Vivian and Fenris left out of. "Those are the only points that people have left from this village, although they could have teleported" Aeon said. "I suspect two of them were our enemies from earlier, so that means at least two people left already" Aeon mused. "We should get moving anyways, it seems that there are more enemies who know where we are than originally expected." |

Fenris [Village] Fenris was about to get up and answer Vivian when he heard a familiar voice. ???: Well, well, who do we have here? A man dressed in a similar manner to Fenris was looking down from the river bank, he had short cropped, black hair. Fenris: Ragnar, good to hear you again, it's been a while. Fenris rose up holding Vivian and started following the instructions she had given to her before Ragnar showed up. Ragnar: So what's with the odd welcome and you seem a bit unsteady did you hurt your head in the fall or something? Fenris: Nah, I'll explain later, we need to go meet a friend and I require assistance. Fenris had managed to make his way to the ladder that Vivian had mentioned, he held her in the crook of his left arm and grabbed the stairs with his right, when he was almost at the top Ragnar grabbed his hand and helped him up rest of the way. Fenris: Thanks, say how big of a group the Stormcallers sent here? Ragnar: There has been several attacks to the villages around here lately, so they sent quite a large group. Three Stormcallers, six of the Wolf Guard and dozen or so Stormclaws. They also said that there might be a Stormcaller here, so I think that's why they sent so many of their own. The Stormclaws were the soldiers of Stormcallers, while not as numerous as many other noble armies, they were well trained and well equipped. Fenris: Could you arrange a meeting with the Stormcallers? Ragnar: Sure, I can do that. Who will be attending the meeting? You two? Fenris: Yes, there might be others but at least we will be there. Ragnar: Okay, let's leave the introductions for later then, the house over there will act as the meeting place, you should wait there. Ragnar pointed at a house not too far away. And then he left jogging towards the approaching Stormcallers. Fenris: Vivian, did you see where we need to go? I think we should make our way there and prepare for the meeting. Fenris spoke to Vivian who was still held in his arms, he sounded a bit nervous thinking about what would happen at the meeting. |

(Alright, Ken is a going through a bit of writers block at the moment and asked me to take the reins for a little while until he can think of something good story wise. I'll try and come up with some diversion for the time being, but if anyone else wants to start a small plot thread then feel free to go ahead. Renma started something, but seems to have vanished from this RP.) [Village] Vincent stood and thought to himself briefly, closing his eyes to do so. A message suddenly flew through his mind and he shook his head quickly. "Ahhhh. . . that was not pleasant. Stupid magic." he sighed, before continuing. "Well, looks like we've got a clue. They have some sort of message magically inscribed here, says to look for a spirit stone they hid nearby and contact them." He paused and looked to Aeon. "Honestly, I don't think it's too hard to guess at where they have gone, but we should follow the message anyway, better to be safe than sorry." 'I wish they would stop pulling those magic tricks on me though. First they're teleporting me all over the place, then cloning, and now they're beaming messages in to my head.' |

OOC: first of all, thank goodness it has been so quiet around here for the past few days. i lost power at my house due to a storm, and right now i'm posting from a restaurant, so dont expect to see me until sometime around thursday... [Vivian][Village] Before Fenris could respond, a man came up to him. Vivian stayed silent during the conversation, but could determine that this man was a Stormcaller and his name was Ragnar. "Vivian, did you see where we need to go?" Fenris asked her, "I think we should make our way there and prepare for the meeting." "Yes, it's slighty to the left of the road, not too far off. Just keep on walking with your arm out, and you should be able to find it." Vivian replied. She could tell that he was a bit nervous from the sound of his voice. "And Fenris," She said, "Just relax. It'll be fine at this meeting." She smiled as she said this, but of course he couldn't see that. |

Anke [The Faustus Mansion l Midday] Anke rose from her place in bed, sighed and stretched. It felt good to have a good few hours of sleep under her belt. She had expected Vivian and Fenris to be here by now, if not Vincent and the others as well, but she was also somewhat grateful for the extra sleep she had gotten. Her house was still quiet and compleetly vacant. She crept down stairs and found that ever the servants seemed to be out. There were only three in the entire mansion and they usually went out around noon. Perhaps that was where they were. She descended further into the mansion. She stopped in the kitchen and ate a quick snack before trudging down to the dungeons below the house. Instead of modern lighting the dungeons were light by traditional torches and candles. Her great grandfather's appearance had spurred a curiosity within her. Her father must have taken his skeleton with him to the academy. At the end of a long, dark hallway Anke pushed open a rot iron door that would only open when touched by the hand of a Faustus. She scanned the room, multiple pearly white skeletons hung from the walls. The space her great grandfather's skeleton usually occupied was empty, thus confirming her suspicion. Anke gave a little sigh and crossed the room to where her grandmother's skeleton hung. She carefully lifted it off the wall and said a few words. The skeleton took on the appearance of life. "Grandma" Anke said addressing it "I'm going to need your help, will you please come with me?" Her grandmother smiled at her. "Dear I heard it all from my father, you and your friends are in danger, but it isn't your fault so I would be glad to help." Anke nodded and muttered a few more words. She took the and said a few more words the magic caused it to shrink to a size she could easily carry with her. She cast one more glance around the room. "One day I'll be in here" she thought to herself "probably sooner rather than later, but my skeleton will have all the same powers I have now, and it won't have the weaknesses I do. I won't be totally dead, my brother will keep me with him I'm sure. Besides when I'm dead my heart will no longer be a set back." She shut the door behind her and went about the rest of the dungeon collections supplies and potions for her necromancy as well as things Vivian might need for the picasso. She went back up stairs and changed into her own clothing, donning the colors that marked her as a part of the Faustus family. For there she went back to the main floor and awaited the arrival of her friends.  |

Someone seems to have gotten a head start on us, and in Fenris's current condition, I don't think we should dawdle." 'Why can't we get a break? It's not even the military anymore, it seems like every random person able to wield a weapon is coming at us. Why are they going after us like this? They couldn't have gotten wanted posters in this region so quickly.' |

He spotted the objects moving by quickly, a group of 3 people moving towards the others direction. He looked back to Aeon and Aoko. "I guess we should hurry. Someone seems to have gotten a head start on us, and in Fenris's current condition, I don't think we should dawdle." Aoko stared at the track long enough, when she realized something in the briefcase she always bring. "I think... I may have what we need... Wait, WAAAAAAH!! It's not done charging yet!" Aoko opened the briefcase already, begin rummaging the inside as she's trying to find a special magical artifact. However, as she took out a crudely looking stone with runes inscribed around it she sensed that the Mana supply she poured all along is still insufficient. Especially after her body has just shrunk. "This artifact is able to trace the last used magic nearby and use it as a railing to connect between us and the magic user. But, it's not finished charging yet so it seems we'll have to go after them on foot." Aoko sighed as she mumbled those explanations. She thrust the stone back to where it belongs and forcibly shut the briefcase off.  |

OOC: seems power came back to where i live sooner than i thought... so i'll be posting now... @ Renma- ahhh i love your avy and sig!!! (umineko fan moment, now let's get back to the rp. ^^;) [Vivian][Village Outskirts] After not hearing a responce from Fenris, Vivian continued. "Even though we don't know what's gonna happen," Vivian said, "I think it'll turn out okay in the end. It'll be fun too, like it has been so far. Well, when our lives aren't in danger that is." By the time Vivian was done with her little speech, they had almost reached the house. "Alright, here it is," Vivian said. There was a small fence outside of the house, and they were now standing beside the gate to get in. She rested as they walked and talked, so she had some strength to open the latch on the gate. At least it wasn't locked, she thought. "Well, shall we go in?" Vivian asked Fenris. |

Aeon | Village Aeon silently agreed with Vincent. He was searching for the stone by trying to feel the magic within it, but that was getting him nowhere. He decided to be a bit more forceful and decided it would be better to melt the snow than trying to find it. He gathered some energy in his hand and converted it into fire, then he slammed his hand into the ground causing a wave of fire to spread out around him, melting the snow in the area. "There it is" he said, pointing at a now visible stone. "Let's take that and hurry to the others" Aeon said, as he walked over to Vincent. |

Fenris [Village] Vivian: Well, shall we go in?" Fenris: Yes, I think we should. After they had made their way in, Vivian pointed out a couch at the opposite wall, so Fenris made his way to it guided by Vivian. Not long after they had sat down the door opened again and four men stepped in. First was Ragnar and after him came a white-haired old man, red-haired woman and a bald man. They sat at the table in the middle of the room. Then they introduced themselves. First stating their name then their position. Ragnar: Ragnar the Wolf Guard, Battleleader. Old-man: Ranek Stormcaller, the eldest, Hurricane Lord. Woman: Karah Stormcaller, Gale Master. Bald Man: Sven Stormcaller, the Eye of the Storm. Fenris gestured at Vivian. As the tradition dictated Fenris was to introduce his companions. Fenris: Vivian Clef, the Illusion Master. The Stormcallers greeted her respectfully, for her family and the title Illusion Master were well known even in the North. Fenris: Fenris Stormcaller, the Tempest That Walks. A silence fell to the room and there was surprise in the faces of the Stormcaller, Ragnar was standing with his mouth gaping until he realised what he was doing and snapped it shut. Then Ranek rose up. Ranek: I figured something like this had happened when Morkai visited me. Ranek then struck his fist at his chest, a gesture repeated by Ragnar, Karah and Sven. Ranek: So I have finally been surpassed and by one so young. So why did you call for the meeting? Fenris then went on and explained what had happened after in their journey so far including his blindness. After he had finished Ranek turned to Ragnar. Ranek: Appoint a Wolf Guard and three Storm Claws to deliver a message to the Mansion, tell them to prepare themselves. Ragnar nodded and walked out of the room. Fenris: There is a friend who we need to pick up before we make our way to the Stormcaller Mansion. Ranek: Very well. Karah, Sven prepare the troops. Karah and Sven nodded and left the room as they got outside they started gathering the troops together as they had spread around the area. Ranek: Who is this friend you speak of? Fenris: Anke Faustus, she's waiting for us at her family Mansion. Ranek: Well, let's go pick her up then. Ranek left the room laughing as he went, he didn't seem the least bit concerned about the Knightmares, this made Fenris feel better. Fenris turned to face Vivian after Ranek had left. Fenris: Well, that went quite well. I'm relieved that we have found allies, but I still kinda wish we could have made the journey, just the two of us... I... He fell silent as he realised what he had been about to say and turned his head away, blushing madly. |

[Village Outskirts] He nodded at Aeon. "I just hope that they all stuck together. If they got separated then we have a problem. At the very least I hope they're in pairs." He reached down and picked up Aoko by the back of her shirt, hoisting her on to his shoulders, before picking up her briefcase. "Come on then little one. It'll be much faster if I just carry you there, given your present state. Let us know if that stone thingy works out sometime soon." He jumped up off the ground, clearing the roofs of several buildings. [Forest - Near House] The three figures stopped just short of the treeline, crouching next to each other. "Can you see anything?" the large figure questioned. A smaller figure, that of a woman replied slowly. "No, nothing. . . wait, yes. I can see two inside, but they aren't moving. I cannot verify the larger one, but the smaller one must be Vivian, judging by the profiles of the others." The third figure merely remained silent. Watching as the other two scouted the building. |

[Vivian][Village/House] Vivian smiled at the three men that had been introduced to her, and curtsied as Fenris introduced her and himself. After they discussed what they were going to do, Vivian silently listened. He's so confident, Vivian thought, Despite being blind. It amazes me. I could never go through something like that... After all of the men had left, Fenris turned to her. "Well," Fenris said, "That went quite well. I'm relieved that we have found allies, but I still kinda wish we could have made the journey, just the two of us... I..." Vivian sat down next to him and took his hands. "Yes, I feel the same way too." Vivian simply stated. She was blushing madly as well. She then did something very unlike herself. She leaned in towards him and kissed him. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!, Vivian kept on thinking, What's going on here? My first... After awhile, she managed to pull herself away. Her face was very red. She kept on holding Fenris' hands, but now they were trembling because she was so embarrassed. "Uh, I uh..." Vivian tried to say. She couldn't think of anything to say to Fenris. "Uh, well... That was... uh..." |

Anke [The Faustus Mansion] The time seemed to be passing really slowly. Anke had been home for almost the whole day now and there were still no signs of her friends. She was starting to worry. Fenris and Vivian, where were they? Vincent and that new girl, how were they doing, and was Aeon back yet? She sat on her couch sipping a warm drink wishing her friends could be enjoying the same restful comfort. They all needed it. Especially Vincent, she had pulled him into this with out his full consent, even though it was mostly Vivian's fault, Anke still got the feeling that he didn't really want to be here. Still she didn't want him to leave either, now was his chance, but Anke didn't want to ponder that. He had been sincerely protecting her from the beginning even if Anke was too dense to realize it. "Thank you Vincent" she whispered as if he was there to hear her. She fell silent for a second and though of Vivian. Her friend must have told Fenris about her condition, but Vivian seemed to be getting really close to Fenris lately, and Anke trusted her judgment. For the most part Vivian's judgment would always superceede Anke's. "Thank you Vivian" she said once again. She leaned her head back and stared up at the fancy designs on the celing. She looked down at the maroon and black dress she was wearing, with the family crest on a black belt hanging around her waist and on the sword hanging from that. Her black cloak fell to the floor and her hair was done in braids so that most of it fell to the back of her knees. No one would mistake her now. Her pink eyes shone with passion and she began to pace around the room. "I am going to die anyway." she said in a determined voice. "I will never let my illnesses hold this group behind, if I die, I will have died protecting them." With that she walked to the front of the mansion and looked out at the snowy front lawn. Her friends could not be far now. |

"W-w-who d-do you think I am???! P-put me down!" As if ignoring her, vincent continue hoisting aoko. Aoko blushed from the way she's treated. Being treated like she's some kid is another matter, but being hoisted to his shoulders is too unladylike even for her. She just sighed as the three of them made their way. |

(I've got to say, it's kind of cool to see romantic or attraction take place between characters that are controlled by different characters. I used to never see that, people always had to create characters and drum up their own romance stuff.) [Village Outskirts] "Oh calm down, just enjoy the view. You're not getting anywhere very fast in the form you are now, so you can either ride on my shoulders, in the briefcase, or you can walk through the snow and wilderness on your adorable little legs." He landed in the open, taking a short look around. They had to be close to their destination, but he couldn't see anything out of the ordinary happening around him. 'Everything seems quiet. No recent damage to any of the buildings as far as I can see, maybe they fled to another location.' "In any case, we don't have time to talk about it, so you're free to make a choice whenever you want, but until then I'll be carrying you." [Village - House] The third figure finally spoke, as the other two kept watch on the building. "Surrounding them is the best option. The military has been hounding them since they fled from the academy, so they have likely put up some sort of defense or warning system out of paranoia. Sven, I want you to circle around and take up a position behind that house over there." he said as he pointed past the house to a different building. The large figure nodded without a word and headed in to that direction, circling around and staying out of sight. "Maria, I want you to stay here in the trees. Make your move as soon as I jump back. Once it begins, that Vivian girl will be left to you, Sven will take Fenris, I'll stay on guard for others that may be with them and if it's clear then I'll proceed to assist you before we move on to Fenris. According to their profiles, Vivian is proficient in the use of magic, which is more of a threat to our number advantage than that man's physical strength, so she needs to get taken out of the picture as quickly as possible. Understood?" The woman nodded and looked back to the house while the third figure made his way out in to the open, heading towards the house. |

[Village Outskirts, Abandoned House] Fenris was taken by surprise when Vivian kissed him and couldn't react to it in anyway. After a moment she pulled away. He could feel her hands trembling in his. Vivian: "Uh, I uh... Uh, well... That was... uh..." Fenris let go of her hands and hugged her tightly instead. There was tears of joy in his eyes. Fenris: Vivian... No need to say anything, I know what you meant. I... I... He draw a deep breath and his voice lowered into a whisper. Fenris: I love you... There was nothing else he could think of saying so he just hold her in his arms. |
