I'm home... and dead tired from walking more than 10 hours and most of the time in the sun... nearly non stop. x_x You didn't know how to put on the seat belt? Too anxious maybe? The most funny story I've heard from my friend was during her test, her tester (erm... is that what you call them?) as her to note the motorcyclist on her right... and in hear she was thinking... "Hmm... cute guy!" and it gave her a immediate failure... cause she was suppose to give way to motorcyclist! hahaha!! I won't what would happen if she said her thoughts out loud~ hahah!! OMG!! You guys sleep while driving... I've seen people do it but... NOOO!!!! Is too dangerous!! *pokes GMeis*...no long post cause I was rushing out... I was running late but I ended up waiting for me friend for another 1/2 or so and I was on time... she's later than me... T.T Do you miss my long posts already? =Þ I hate manual cars... though I drive none... the stick is one thing... the crutch is another....Try using a manual car through a Jam...it'll kill you~ Ermm... did Hikaru posted a poem or a song in Japanese here? Anyone know's what is about?? @DN: it sounds like a song lyrics/story/etc to me... And Vie... who is occhan?? [@DN] Haha, relax with that attacking stuff, I'm posting how I've always posted, nothing has changed. Oh, and read the posts so you know what's going on, heh. :P [@Engel] Do you mean give the on-coming person the "right-of-way"? And the "testers" are called your driving instructors, haha. If you keep you're cool, don't get nervous, and do what you need to do on the course/road, you'll pass. I drove stick today with my mom's van, since she drives it to work. And since I have to go with her, she let me drive today, though my dad was against it, but my mom will give me props. XD Though it wasn't hard, the stick thing wasn't how I imagined it would be. Plus when it comes to driving, since my mom hasn't seen me that much driving, she looses her cool when I stop behind a car, and while we're not in motion, I move up just a bit, heh. Also, it's "clutch", not "crutch", lol. I thought you said something else for a minute there, hahaha. :O Oh, and one last thing about giving someone the right of way, this dumb girl was gonna drive right in front of me in front of the plaza where my instructor comes to get me, and when she looked at us, she made it feel as if WE made the mistake. Jesus, I wanted to reverse the car into her hood! D:< I think I have parallel parking down, though since I'm not "cheating", I still pull in a bit too deep so when I turn I fear I might hit the curb, so I gotta pull front then back then front again. I don't think you can do this on the driving test, but I'm going to ask my instructor tomorrow before we head off. A bit more to this club, since it's driver's ed in here right now, lol, sorry about that, but wow, Hare Hare Yukai is close to Vivid Colors. I honestly though there'd be a different result by now.

Is a driving instructor who sits beside you still call a "driving instructor" on the day of your practical test? Opps... I tot I spelt wrongly too but couldn't really tell since I had baked my brains under the sun for way too long today... "clutch"... I guess when some people see that "you are still learning" or that "you are new at this", they'll try to put the blame on you first thinking you are an amature... This probably not just happens to driving but for many other matters as well *sigh* I've been a victim of such stuff for too many times... Hahah... I realise that DA's posts thess days are as long as mine... cool!!! hahahah! I love long post (though not when I have to read it when I'm having a headache...) |

The practical test? Are you talking about... the permit test or something else? The person who sits next to you while you're driving to get your license, is the driving "instructor". Talking about long posts, I've made even longer ones before, some twice as long even, haha. The fan was harder than my dad's Sedan, but I'm sure I can drive it. Everybody has to know how to drive a van y'know. ^_~`

really DA? why is that? why do we need to know how to drive a van?? At first you put fan" and I was like "what the hell does a fan had to do with driving?" O.o but at the end you put van, so ish ok XD I was wondering if in your countries you have problems with the motorcycles like we do here?? |

Here we call it "practical test" here... I believe your "Knowledge Test" = "theory test" so I guess it is the permit test since you only get your permit to drive after that test~ twice as long? I wanna see~~~~ >_< |

[@DN] Well you'll need a van for family stuff in the future, right? Not saying you'd buy one, but to drive one, I'm definitely gonna learn now. :P Also, what kind of issues are you talking about with motorcycles? [@Engel] Oh, well know you go to a certain quiet area in the back, and you do your test on a computer, touch screen. They need to update the dang computers, jesus, it's like before Bill Gates made Windows or something. :/ You get your permit to drive period, and you need a person 21+ with you. After you wait six months (a week if you're 18+), you can go for your driver's license and if you pass, drive by yourself or whatever. About the posts, I'unno, they're around, can't really find any. :O

lol. So much to read!!! I can't read japanese. :( @Engel: I kinda like long posts. It gives me something to read since I don't have anything to do lately. :p @DN: What DA said is true. Vans are also useful for moving small items from place to place. Especially if one gets a job doing that and you have to use your own vehicle. :) @DA: Regarding your post on the last page. lol I drive Ford Taurus 97 GL. I bought it used for 2100$. My mother paid for 2000, cause thats all she would shell out. I had to pay for the extra 100$. Worst part was my mother took me to look at cars at like 5 dealerships and in the end she finally said it would be cheaper to look in the paper. I freaked out about the wasted trip. So I looked in the paper for a regular 4 door car that was cheap with some help from some friends. The car works ok I think. I had to spend a couple thous. to fix some stuff, like a tune up and at one point it was dripping transmission fluid. I hated paying for those repairs. So much money. :( Hmmm.. where has H been. I haven't seen him in here for a while.   |

[@Gmeis] Ah, that's not bad. I'm not sure what it looks like though. My mom wants something as low as 1500$, but to be honest, it's gonna be over 5100$ if you're talking about me, lol. There's no way I'm getting a low-deal car cause they break down, you basically pay more money to fix it, etc. So I'm just gonna get a nice car to start out with, but it's gonna be nice cause I'll have it for a while anyways. I found this SWEET Black Mazda on Cars.com, not priced yet, then later it was up to 14K! UGH! I found an orange one, too, though it might be even more expensive. I'm still talking to my mom about it, eventually my dad will get in it, but we'll see. Let's worry about my license first, hahahaa. But wow, I can't wait. It's been so long. And talking about H, it's only been a day so far, but not even a day, haha. [@DN] Vans are very important, like 'em or not. Though you wouldn't need a van until you're in a family, and the mother will eventually drive it more (sometimes). Since my mom's van is a Mazda, I might try to get a Mazda for myself, but dude Mazda's are expensive. I doubt my parents will go all out, though I've known to be a bit spoiled, lol.

Singles don't need vans, except for driving drunk friends. :p H will probably stop be here later then. :) @DA: I didn't really care what kinda car I got at that time. Just as long as it was in working condition, cheap, and not too many fix ups. I just really needed a car to get back and forth to work at that time. lol. Oh, and I know you hear this a lot already, but good luck again. XD |

I have a question now that DA mentiones 'expensive' how much does the cars cost over there, casue here in Colombia are extremly expensive compared to the US cars :S |

Haha, you can never have enough "good lucks", so I appreciate it. I guess getting a car period to start out is all that is needed, though I like appearance, so I gotta roll in a bit of style here, lol. Plus my friends who have "not-so-good" cars complain to me all the time. I think it must be some mental warning for my way when I'm there or something. XD About a Van and drunk friends, I doubt you're gonna be like, "hey mom, can I borrow the van?", "why dear?", "I gotta pick up the guys at the bar, you know... they're drunk again." ...well, that's sorta possible, hahaha. About how much cars cost here, name some expensive prices in Colombia. I don't know crap about cars, but cars can get VERY expensive here. But if you're talking about cars regular people have, it depends. If you're old, you get nice cars cause I've seen old people driving in Benz and cars that just came out this year, it's nuts. And if you talk about imported cars, that's an even larger nightmare. Though you know how bad I want to see a Skyline in person? /drools
