Re: What's your japanese name?

| My name, using kunyomi readings, would be Fumitsuru Naru (this has nothing to do with the name generator you guys/girls are using) It's the actual kunyomi reading of the kanjis of my actual name. Anyone can figure the it out? *Guess!!* |

Ahahaha! I remember this from back in the old Animelyrics.tv forums. Good times. My generator name is: ä¸å³¶ Nakashima (center of the island) å¥å¤ª Kenta (healthy and plump) I guess that makes sense? My real name is æž— (Rin)ã€€é´»æ¥ (Kougyou) which is my Chinese name in on'yomi. In Mandarin it would be "Lin Hongye", Cantonese "Lum Hung-yip" The family name is actually fairly common in Japanese (Hayashi) though it isn't always alone, but the first character of my given name exists only the musty bowels of Japanese dictionaries, and they didn't even get the meaning right.
Maka here is an wonderful example of why it's a bad idea to home school your children.
Maybe also a good example of why inbreeding is a bad idea, although the paternity test has not been done to say for sure.

My teacher and my friends (in the class and in Japan) call me りん. It's just a lot easier to pronounce, because my real name is Cypress. Otherwise, I don't have an official Japanese name yet.

汎太 摩楼 At least, that's what the people in Japan assigned to my name. Yeah, that's right, I've actually been in Japan, forced to use their language. But of course they know a lot more English than we know Japanese, so nyeh. I do believe they said that it means something like "Overflowing Mind", or at least the first name. I don't remember the last name's meaning. |

my name ended up being... 森田 Morita (forest field) 一真 Kazuma (one reality) How appropriate, since I'm a radical environmentalist who believes that the "one reality" is that the Earth is dying quickly from our actions XD |

Erm... If I use my chinese name, it'd be 洪(Kouï¼‰é»ŽçŠ ï¼ˆReisenchi?)... It sounds weird though... *sob* Apparently, æ´ª is an almost nonexistent word in the japanese language, and çŠ is hardly used as well... Anyway, it means 'flood waters', 'dawn' and 'coral' respectively. I guess names in Chinese and Japanese don't make much sense in English, do they? From the name generator, I got: 黒柳(kuroyanagi) ã‚ã‚„ã‹(ayaka) (What a mouthful ><) I think Kuroyanagi means 'black willow', and Ayaka... can either have no meaning, or mean any phrases that are 'ayaka'. ’綾香’can be one, erm... it's 'fragrant cloth' or something... Haha. ^^ The generator's cool though. xD (but I think I'll stick to 秋風 ã‚ã• or 黎...) |
