Hola Rubysakura !! Bueno, quiza yo no cante como un profesional, pero sé algo de teorÃa del canto en las técnicas alemana e italiana. Sobre el falsetto, no es considerado como tal en las mujeres, definitivamente sà hacen algo diferente, pero es denominado "colocación" o "impostación", quizá sea sólo que la palabra "falsetto" fué mal empleada, y de cualquier manera, el recurso que usó Capri es parte de la técnica, y fué bien usado, además según recuerdo el falsetto era uno de los puntos a calificar en el torneo "Technique: How well do use your voice as your own instrument. Falsettos, vibrato, intonation and all of that!". Lo que hizo Capri, sin importar el nombre que se le dé al recurso, es algo válido dentro del canto tanto clásico como moderno, además hizo un gran trabajo ^^ Luiz !!  |

GEEZ PEOPLE... I have never had people complaining SO MUCH before in the contest...I am getting really pissed off.. I agree with Rubysakura...I have been taught about falsetto voice o "falsete" in Spanish. And there is such thing as a falsetto. I USE IT...a lot. And please...respect the judges comments...THERE IS A REASON WHY THEY ARE JUDGES...THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. You may not agree with them...but don't say that they are wrong...or they don't know what they are talking about...seriously? Zauber: What all of the judges criticize Capri the most was the song selection. It was dull and not the best for her voice. It wasn't as if we said she was bad...because she is not bad. What judge Benny tried to say was that he would have liked to hear Capri in a song that requires her to let her voice out completely and not hold back, sing at "full voice". ****** Estoy sorprendida por la cantidad de controversia que se esta creando en esta temporada del Gendou Idol. La verdad me esta llegando a molestar. Este concurso es para divertirse...y no para quejarse. El falsete por lo que yo se...y lo que me han enseniado, SI EXISTE. Y yo lo uso al cantar cuando quiero llegar a notas que con voz a full potencia suenan muy gritadas. Y si no es asi...entonces estoy loca y no se de lo que hablo >_< Y por favor...RESPETEN los comentarios de los jueces...HAY muchas razones por la cual la gente que elegi son JUECES. Ninguno de ellos son simples amateurs. Nosotros sabemos de lo que estamos hablando. No pedimos que concuerden con todo lo que decimos porque eso no tendria sentido, pero al menos muestren mas respeto hacia nuestro conocimiento. Zauber y Bluii: NINGUNO de los jueces ha puesto en tela de juicio el talento de Capri. Ninguno. Es mas...todos hemos dicho que tiene una buena voz. Todos los jueces concordamos que la cancion que eligio no fue la mejor para su tipo de voz. Todos queremos escucharla en algo mas fuerte y que requiera el uso de su voz potente a full. Y CON ESO DICHO...POR FAVOR...ESPERO SE ACABE LA DISCUSION. **** COMMENTS FOR GROUP 5 WILL BE UP SHORTLY. I AM SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG, I AM STILL WAITING FOR ONE JUDGE SCORE. Hey all! Just thought I'd stop by and post a reply xD There are some really talented singers in this competition this time round it seems... I'm getting super nervous already o.o Just wanted to wish everybody good luck and congratulations to those who made it to the next round. @Kona: I listened to your song the other day... your voice is apsolutely beautiful! Just thought I would say so. :) I'm getting worried that I might not even get to the next round! Haha. I've never had voice training in my life so I'm not sure if I'm even that good or not... >.> Anyway! Again, congrats to all those who got through to the next round, and well tried to all those who didn't quite manage to :)   |

DN: El proposito del concurso es el de divertirse cantando. Es por eso que escuchas a personas q no cantan nada y aun asi estan participando. Si esto fuera un concurso profesional entonces muchisimos ni siquiera estarian siendo evaluados. Y nadie maltrata a nadie. Los comentarios son constructivos y a eso no se le llama maltrato. Si uno entra al concurso y sabe que canta mal, pues que se atenga a las consecuencias de los comentarios que recibira. *** GROUP 5 RESULTS: JUDGE JOSH Zero Song Selection: 2 - The song is well within your range and seems to fit your personality, though requires breath control that you don't quite have, yet. Technique: 2 - You need to work on your breath control. You're constricting your throat too much to hit those higher notes. It makes your voice crack and kills your dynamic. You should be louder. (not in the sense that you should turn yourself up in the mix) I mean you should be louder when you sing. When you breathe in, breathe in through your mouth and nose and when you sing, push the air up from your core. (diaphragm) Interpretation: 1 - The song requires a great deal of positive excited energy. You mostly sounded anxious for the reasons that I listed above. Personal Appreciation: 1 - You get one for trying.Overall Score: 6 Miky Song Selection: 3 - Nice pick for your range. Technique: 3 - You have nice pitch tone of voice. However, you don't demonstrate any type of advanced vocal techniques in your performance. Interpretation: 2 - You lack a sense of subtlety needed to really sell a song of this type. I can tell that you're beginning to get ahold of breath control, but you lose it every once in a while, which leads the volume of your voice becoming too great at certain points of the song. Personal Appreciation: 3 - You have a nice voice and I can tell you tried hard for this performance. Consider what I mentioned above for your next one. work on establishing a vibrato and a solid sense of dynamic.Overall Score: 11 Kei Kun Song Selection: 1 - The odd melody of the song seems to be beyond your sense of pitch. Technique: 1 - Like I mentioned above with the pitch, you go flat and sharp quite a bit. This is usually done at the beginning of a note, which is followed by scooping up to the correct note. If you have access to a piano, I'd suggest playing random notes on the piano and singing them. Then work out a pattern and sing along with you play at a staccato. The reason for singing staccato is to deny you the chance to scoop up to your notes. You either hit the note or you don't. Interpretation:1 - This song requires a sense of subtlety that you don't quite have while singing. Keeping that in mind: It may have been better for you to pick a song that requires a stronger voice. Personal Appreciation: 1 - You get a point for trying.Overall Score: 4 Naia Song Selection: 3 - The song is set within your range. Technique: 2 - You go flat on a few notes here and there with the lead but your harmonization background vocals are almost consistently flat during the first chorus. Interpretation: 2 - You don't have enough energy for this song, especially on the first two choruses. I liked what you did on the third chorus. There's two ways to express energy when singing. You did exhibit one, which is volume. Your volume was always appropriate. However, you lack any varying sense of emotion. Personal Appreciation: 2 - You have a nice voice. Just work on expressing yourself as you sing. Think of the words and put a bit of conversation into your singing.Overall Score: 9 Atashi Song Selection: 2 - The song is a bit too low for your range. It ends up inhibiting your ability during the verses. Technique: 2 - You stay on key for the most part, but you don't really demonstrate anything aside from the ability to hold your pitch. Interpretation: 1 - You seem very timid for a song that's meant to be powerful. Part of that is simply that it's too low for you. The other part is that you sing with your head voice. You can gain a vocal sense of command by pushing air up from your diaphragm, rather than relying on your throat to hit the right notes. Personal Appreciation: 2 - I want to hear you really sing next time. Your natural tone of voice is sweet. Try and learn to command with it. Overall Score: 7 Mitsuki Song Selection: 3 - The song is well within your range and fits the tamber of your voice well. Technique: 2.5 - You miss some notes here and there and I can something akin to nervousness in your voice at times. You're starting to gain control over your vibrato. Keep at it. Interpretation: 3 - You have the right kind of energy and dynamic for the song but you tend to rush words at certain points. The only advice I can give for this is to practice your songs a bit more before performing. Personal Appreciation: 2 - You have something nice going on, but you're very sloppy.Overall Score: 10.5 JUDGE SELECTION: MIKY JUDGE CHARLOTTE [Zero] 13/20 Song selection: 3 Technique: 4 Interpretation: 3 Personal Appreciation: 3 Comment: You have a really nice style to your voice, and I really like that you added dynamics, instead of singing at one constant volume. It seemed like you ran out of breath a bit, though. I would practice some breathing techniques and try to get your breath support really strong. [Miky] 15/20 Song selection: 4 Technique: 3 Interpretation: 4 Personal Appreciation: 4 Comment: I really liked the emotion that you put into this song. I was really feeling it. There were a few times in the high notes where I feel like you didn't quite get up to the note you were aiming for, but that aside, I really enjoyed this. You have a really nice voice and I look forward to hearing more from you! [Kei-Kun] 10/20 Song selection: 2 Technique: 2 Interpretation: 3 Personal Appreciation: 3 Comment: This song is really cool, but I feel like it was a bit boring for a competition. It's one of those that I would like to listen to on a CD, but not really care about hearing it in a performance. You have good intonation, but this song kind of has a creepy feel to it, and your voice needed to convey that haunting kind of feeling a little bit more. [Naia (Mystik)] 14/20 Song selection: 3 Technique: 4 Interpretation: 4 Personal Appreciation: 3 Comment: You sound better singing this than Kitade Nana. I also really enjoyed the harmonies that you offered to the track. They really add something. [Atashi] 13/20 Song selection: 3 Technique: 3 Interpretation: 3 Personal Appreciation: 4 Comment: I really love this song; it's a total classic! In the beginng you were a little behind the music, so definitely listen for that, in the future. Your intonation is good, but some of the notes come off as kind of harsh. This song should have a more fluid sound to it. This isn't an easy song, and I think you did a good job of it. [Mitsuki] 14/20 Song selection: 4 Technique: 3 Interpretation: 4 Personal Appreciation: 3 Comment: This was a good song choice for you, and I really like the vibrato you put into the notes. You have a really strong voice, which makes listening to those long notes really enjoyable. I would try to back off a little sometimes, because you do have a really strong voice. If you learn just a little more control, you'd be unstoppable! JUDGE SELECTION: MIKY JUDGE PAME Zero Song Selection:3.5 Technique:2.5 Interpretation:3.5 Personal Appreciation:3 Comment: Relax. You seem to push your notes out. Control your breathing so the notes come out at ease and don't sound too forced. I liked your energy though. Miky Song Selection:4 Technique:3 Interpretation:4 Personal Appreciation:3.5 Comment: I liked the song you chose, it goes well with your voice. Just be careful with the high notes. I would have liked to hear some vibrato at the end of your notes because they seem to die a bit. With a bit more practice you will sound pro ^-^ Kei-kun Song Selection:2 Technique:1 Interpretation:2.5 Personal Appreciation: 2.5 Comment: Creepy song Kei-Kun! Doomness is here uh? You need to work on your intonation because you go off tune at the beginning of your phrases and then flat :( Try to work harder on the melody and then we'll see from there ^-^ Naia-Mystik Song Selection:3 Technique:3 Interpretation:3 Personal Appreciation:3 Comment: The song fits you but I didn't feel too much by listening to you :( I would have liked more energy, more feeling. Watch your intonation, you tend to go a bit flat. Nice harmonies though. Atashi Song Selection:3 Technique:3 Interpretation:2 Personal Appreciation:3 Comment: This song is a classic! XD You stayed on pitch just fine but you sounded too timid, almost shy. Be more confident and don't hold back. This song requires a lot more energy and power :( Mitsuki Song Selection:3.5 Technique:3 Interpretation:3.5 Personal Appreciation: 3 Comment: Really nice energy! Watch your intonation, you tend to miss some notes. Also your tempo, you went a bit faster than the melody at some parts. MIKY Song selection 4 technique 4 interpretation 4 personal apreciation 4 Comment: A beautiful interpretation of the song, your sweet voice matches really good with it...but I would like to hear you with a song that will make you use your full voice and more power.
