Inflation in my country? Of Course!
And it seem will worsened in 3-5 years...

The prices of gasoline rise in my country 1 month ago...
and it made the other daily need become VERY expensive...
this year the price of gasoline rise twice...
from 3,000 IDR to 4,500 IDR and the last 6,000 IDR...

fyi : 1 USD = 9,300 IDR

what about ur country guys?

[@Eria] lol, you know that for sure? :P

[@DN] Yeah, it's only to get my insurance lowered, which helps you out a huge deal when you're young.
You haven't driven a car yet? Aren't you, well, "ready"? I don't wanna say "old", lol. XD

Plus another good benefit from this is that I learn more, too, including what I needed, Parallel Parking.

I had another lesson today, my second one. Everything went smoothly as well.
Practice Parking again, Perpendicular Parking again, then drove around the shopping areas.
I also pumped my first tank of gas today, though good thing I didn't need to pay, haha! XD

Gas over here dropped .20$ so it's 3.75-79 or so now, which is a few bucks of saving.

Also more good news, I think I might be on a nice path to getting my own car.
I'm still talking it over with my mom,
it's not gonna be the best car ever, but we'll see what happens. :3

Yikes!! I haven't been here for like 24 hours and now I've got nearly 2 pages to resd... *reads reads*

Wow... you guys should really go get some good sleep. Sometimes the inability to sleep might be due to bad sleeping habits... like being online till late at night too often...=S

You guys can change you votes anytime before I close voting on 10th August~ But!!! I do prefer if you guys can think it through it carefully before voting. I sure won't want to have to help everyone change their votes on a daily basis~

I only like Sunday day time... get really depressed on Sunday evenings cause it'll be Monday soon... and we all know what happens on Mondays... School & WOrk...

And DA~ Good luck for the driving test... I'll repeat it as much times as I can remember! Muhaha!!

Hmm... I'll go see if I can think of another quote to put in as our Club's header.... the "handing out flyers" has used up it's magic =Þ

GAnbatte for the Maths quiz Vie!!!

@Kira: you don't have to be a member here to post though you are welcome to be one~

@Kei-kun: Haven't seen your PM yet... >_< So thats one vote for Vivid Colors by Laruku? You've got 2 more to go~

@Eria: Singapore (where I live) now doesn't have inflation... we have stagflation (Stagnatation + inflation = worst)! T.T

Yeah, they're pretty easy right now. I can get parking in no time. ^_~`

I guess countries outside of the US, driving is not so relied upon so much.
Since gas is not a major issue in other countries like now (even if it's dropped).

@Engel: I have bad sleeping habits. T_T

I think I will stick with my votes earlier. :)

On the driving issue. Regardless if I can drive and have a license, I hate driving. lol
Sometimes when I am driving, I feel like going to sleep. I don't know why.
I would much rather be sitting in the passenger seat. :p

Wow, jesus that's no good, lol. I love driving, even if I'm in-experienced,
though I think even now, I'm a good driver, not gonna brag but I am a good driver.

Driving before and after getting your license is totally different though, so you gotta be careful.
I drove with one hand today, cause I know I can though my instructor told me "both hands on the wheel homie", and laughed. XD

The first time I drove (practiced) and hopped into the driver's seat,
I felt this weird vibe around me. Also I didn't know how to put on the seat belt, LOL!

YOU DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO PUT THE SEATBELT?? o.O
how are the seatbelts there??
I don't think is that hard ^^'

I have experience using them in the passanger seat XD
But I always use it ^^

"both hands on the wheel homie"
hahahaha

Well I never ever thought about sitting in the driver's seat,
when it was time for me to practice, it was just weird,
cause the seat belt would surround me, from the opposite site.
I got used to it fast though, and it was only that one time, haha.

Yeah, that was a pretty funny comment.
He also followed it with a "don't go one hander on me yet, you're not ready" or something,
but I drove one handed with my dad last weekend to get mah haircut, so yeah. XD

This Saturday he said he can swing by the DMV place with me so I can see how the testing goes,
then the next day, Sunday, I gotta practice, but this time in my dad's car.
Hopefully if nothing comes up, my instructor can give me my certificate by Friday, or I'll be done by Friday.
Monday, the DMV is closed so I won't be doing anything anyways, then 1.15 PM the next day is mah test,
so I gotta get it together, get ready, and leave early cause you have to, so I've read.

We'll see how things goes this week though, but so far I've managed to park pretty smoothly.
I kinda tried it without "cheating" today, though I ended up a little far out, but I managed to get back in perfectly, so yeah.
I'll continue to do this so I can get it right without learning it without the mirror Sunday when I re-practice it.

>.> Zomg, all this talk of driving makes me remember how I'm supposed to be reading that drivers manual so I can get my permit...
It's so thick and technical that by the time I read it, get my permit, do my 50 hours of driving before I take the license test, I'll probably be off to college.
Then it'll be all for nothing cause I won't even have a car to drive!

But I guess since I'm not really doing anything else, I could read it...

lol, I've heard that the permit test isn't that hard but when I took my drivers ed course online, they'd give me little tests and I failed almost all of them because I'd skim that huge wall of text.
< Basically setting up self for an auto accident -____-;;

(XD I love how all of this relates to the topic of being single. /sarcasm But discussions are nice though. :3)

omg driving lessons and tests outside Indonesia are so complicated.... scary ^^a... I'm glad I was born in Indonesia where tests are optional, to take or not to take ^^

anyway, I'm with gmeis, I prefer to sleep on the passenger seat than to drive, always got all sleepy inside a car, especially in traffic jams ^^; I've fallen asleep once when I was driving in a highway, caught in a traffic jam -_-' luckily the sound of horns waked me up ^^a

weeee!! just noticed that the title has changed ^^

Gendou City Crossover RP! ~Coming soon~

Dang Jow, what are you reading, how to MAKE a car instead of driving one? XD
All of you guys no need to worry. When I get my license, buckle up. ^_~`

The Knowledge Test is easy Jow, 15 questions, literally took me five minutes.
I answered the first 13 in like, ONE minute, haha, then got one wrong, got one write, etc. til I passed.
I was super lazy before though, so I failed twice (lazy, didn't study),
though strangely, I showed up at the DMV like, six times total, yet took the test three times?
It was really annoying... and I don't feel like talking about it? Unless someone asks about it. :P

Here where I live, they've changed the driving manual twice in like, the past year.
I'm giving my sister my copy, which was an older version,
but it's much simpler and gets to the point.
Though there is a lack of information (like signs and other information),
she only needs it to pass the knowledge test.
Just like me taking driving lessons now (to lower insurance as well), my sister will do this when she's ready, too.
It's sweet though, cause I'm going to force her to get her permit on the week of her birthday,
and by the team she enters high school, she only has to wait two months until she can go for her license.

That's sweet, cause she can drive before anyone, get a car earlier, and rub it in people's faces. >:3
Unfortunately I was super, SUPER lazy and missed my opportunity to do this, lol.

@H: lol. Sleeping drivers are the way to go. Though I don't recommend it to anyone.
For some reason no matter who drives, I always start feeling sleep in the car. Not good. :p

Whenever I start feeling sleepy in the car, I start blasting the music like crazy.

I don't think the driving tests in the US were hard. I think they were just more of an annoyance. :)

Yeah it's a pretty simple test as long as you know what you're doing.

XD Okie, since everyone says the test is easy, I guess I'll get on it then.

=____= Aw man, 80 pages?
Luckily they're little pages...
>.> And every third one appears to be some sort of ad...

XP My mom'll be happy to know I finally started to read this thing since she can't drive anymore.
She's been hounding me all summer to do this.

Re: The Single's Club~ (singing our Theme song??)
Link | by devils-angel on 2008-08-04 17:20:45
The thing about the test is you have to be more specific with everything,
though it's understandable since this'll effect the rest of your life.
Make a complete stop at stop signs, wait three seconds, etc.

Actually, the hardest thing would be parking,
though if you learn it like I am now, you're surely able to pass.
My cousin, who is like an android (a genius at life), passed without driving a second between the six month waiting period.
My aunt and uncle (his parents) bought him a nice car already,
though he shares it with my aunt a lot so it's not all his yet.
Plus my aunt has enough money to get a really nice car, even from this year or next year even, so she's good.

As far as I know, the only thing you need to look out for are what I said about the stop signs.
Also, stop before the larger white line, they'll fail you mighty fast if you pass it, I think.
This Friday my dad's agreed to teach me a bit of driving my mom's Van (a banging Mazda, lol).
I asked if I can drive it to my mom's work tomorrow since I gotta wake up early and go with her,
but my dad said no, "I just started driving", "I'm new to this kind of stuff", blah blah blah.
"I've been driving 20 years", way to rub that in my face, pops. :P

Drive stick and Automattic are the same thing to me,
though it's different cause the van is a much larger automobile, so yeah...

I want to try stick someday, cause it's pretty cool,
though I want to learn it later in life, or at least until I get my license,
which hopefully will be a week tomorrow. Jesus I can't wait. >_<;

lol. Engel didn't do a long post this time. :)

I tried the manual drive before (stick). Its actually pretty fun.
I practiced on some tuned up car, but I didn't get the most out of since I was restricted to a small circle around a building. :(
The people said I didn't do too bad though. I think they were just being nice.

My dad's driving is crappy, regardless of how long hes been driving. XD

Re: The Single's Club~ (singing our Theme song??)
Link | by devils-angel on 2008-08-04 20:55:37
lol, yeah Engel must be busy. :O

Stick is just like Automattic, I mean you step on the break, and switch to whatever gear you need.
One time my dad was talking to me about parallel parking,
and then we drove to my grandma's house, and this was a bit ago cause I would've drove myself (cause I can now),
so when we got to her house, we found a spot to park, and he hit the curb.

While he shifted hard to the other direction, I made this weird face at him, lol.
I tried parking in this area there times, hit the curb twice first two times then got it right the third time.
This was way before I got lessons now so I had zero practice,
plus with on-coming traffic coming on and on, it's pretty darn difficult... and nerv wrecking. :/

Gmeis, what kind of car do you drive?
