(Ken must be having another busy week.) [House] Vincent chuckled slightly at Vivian's retort, and then spent the rest of the conversation listening as everyone talked things over. Eventually Anke and Vivian left the room and headed in to the kitchen. He turned his head over towards the rest of the group. "So once again we spend our time debating." he said as he stretched out. Suddenly, an arrow struck the window next to one of the new members. He slowly rose to his feet and made his way towards the door, taking up his swords along the way and attaching them to his sides. "We don't catch many breaks do we? I'm starting to think we might be cursed." He made his way outside, leaving the door open so that the others could still see him clearly. He stood in the middle of what used to be the street, his hands in his pockets. He directed his voice back to the house. "Simple solution to that problem. . . Aoko was it? Just make sure you're all paying attention, because I don't want to do what I'm about to do all day. Maybe if I'm still sleepy you'll only get one chance."    |

[House] Vivian had gone with Anke to collect supplies for the trip, when Fenris heard an arrow hit the wall. As Aoko and Vincent tried to locate the attacker Fenris decided to take care of defense. Fenris: Driving Gale. The magic Stormcallers used when calling the storms was unlike any other. Rather than using their own magic to summon the storm they used their magic to draw the natural elements into the area surrounding them and then releasing it. This made it hard to detect exactly where the caster was as the magic covered quite large area. The power Fenris had used was the second tier of the storm, it called a wind blowing into the direction the Stormcaller wished with enough force to blow almost any thrown object off it's course. In times of war it was most often used to shield armies from enemy arrows. Fenris: -Blackclaw, Whitefang, see if you can find the one attacking us. He seems to be shielding his presence, but his scent trail should remain. Come back after you found him. Blackclaw: -We'll go. With that the two wolves ran out of the door and silently and stalthily started searching for the attacker.   |

[Vivian][House] Before Anke could respond to her question, she heard a thud. "Vivian, Anke. We've got a company." Aoko told them. Aoko started chanting a spell. "Tch, it's no good." Aoko muttered, "He concealed his presence very well, I'm guessing he's pro at this." Vivian immediately went over to Fenris. She passed Vincent along the way, and watched him go to the middle of the street. What is he doing? She thought, he could get seriously injured if he was hit, maybe even killed. He doesn't know how skilled our opponents are. He might be underestimating things here... Vivian went over to Fenris, and saw him calling a storm. For defense, Vivian thought, good thinking. She helped him stand up, and then took out Picasso. "Let me help you with this." She said to him. She held out the book in front of her, and concentrated her energy into the book. She then grabbed Fenris' hand, and put it on top of the book. "I learned this the other day," Vivian told him, "You can transfer energy to another person through the book, whether it be physical or magical. Right now I'm transferring magical energy to you."  |

((Well, let's keep ourselves entertained then shall we? |D)) [Aoko] [House] "Let me help you with this." She said to him. She held out the book in front of her, and concentrated her energy into the book. She then grabbed Fenris' hand, and put it on top of the book. "I learned this the other day," Vivian told him, "You can transfer energy to another person through the book, whether it be physical or magical. Right now I'm transferring magical energy to you." Aoko has enveloped the entire house in a very thin magic power, This is just a mean to detect the trajectory of the arrows as they have no other mean to determine where they come from. However, as a slight pain stings her neck she realized that one of the arrow managed to pierce through the barrier. Without anything else to say, she leap towards Vivian and Fenris and knock them off sideways as an arrow just pierced through the wall, leaving a very tiny hole which only fits for the arrow to pass through. She glanced at the floor, where both vivian and fenris were few seconds ago. An arrow was planted there, with some kind of a charm hanging by. "Magic Cancelling charm.. Seems like we're dealing with some Mage Hunters here." Aoko looked aghast as she didn't really realize that they would be sending Mage Hunters here. Long distance fight is definitely not her forte, so she doesn't really know what to do at this point. The magic cancelling charm made a hole on her thin magic barrier, however as it's Cancelled not Pierced she can't determine the trajectory of the arrow. [???][Somewhere in the village] "It missed, Aoko of the Blue Light knocked the target sideways. Seems like it was a mistake to underestimate our opponents." The guy who's still touching the ground with his palm just said with a cold voice to his partner. The one holding the bow is quite disappointed, as smoke comes off from his bow. "Ah, that's too bad. Shall we go all out then now?" The Archer put his bow on the ground, and take up a Larger Bow from the ground. He loaded 5 arrows at once to it and aimed at the direction of the house. "Wind, South. Adjusting, 3 centimeters to the left. Wait for my signal."  |

(@Ren - It seems like Ken is going to be a while, so I don't see the harm, seeing as how our characters won't really be moving anywhere. Might as well. ^^) [Street] Vincent looked back at the house as the arrow struck it. "Huh. . . I figured that would work. Guess I'm not being taken seriously." He jumped up on top of one of the destroyed buildings on the opposite side of the street, but still remaining in front of the house. He stood and stretched his back and arms with a slight grunt. "Come on now, I know it might not seem like a challenge, but I'd appreciate it if they would at least humor me before my sanity returns." |

Anke [House l by the Doorway] Anke watched as Vivian transferred energy into Fenris by way of the Picaso. Vincent was in the street working on his own offensive trick and Aoko was surrounding the house with a sort of magic barrier. "I really hate it when I'm useless." Anke mused out loud. She knew that if she were to do much more than freeze their attacker's bodies it would exhaust her. "Aoko-San do you think these people are after us, or you, it doesn't matter either way I'm just currious. Also your barrier is predicting the trajectory of their arrows right? Thats how you knew where the next arrow was going?" Anke didn't really need to knows these things in order to make her next move. She was truthful when she said she was just curious. She raised a single hand into the air. "Skelette Steuerung" she muttered in her native tong. She then dropped her other hand to her side causing both attackers to drop their hands to their sides. "Vivian, do you mind giving me some of your energy. Holding off an entire army of zombies is pretty energy consuming." Then she called out to Vincent on the street. "They're all yours. Do with them what you want."  |

[Rooftop] He heard Anke call out to him. "Right, whatever I want. That would be great, assuming I knew quite where they were. I suppose I could always take a guess. If the arrow hit the building like that, then the attackers should be somewhere in that area, seeing as how there's no other high vantage points." he said quietly as he began tracing lines from the house to the area in front of him. He started hopping from destroyed house to destroyed house, his hands in his pockets. Despite the fact that they were under attack, he couldn't help but feel oddly uninterested in it all. His mind was elsewhere to say the least. |

Go back three houses and over four. They are in the window that has a clear line at the door I'm standing in. Oh and you can take your time, it's not like they can move or anything..." And, seeing how the arrow landed between me and Fenris, and how it wasn't even close to hitting you or Vincent, I'm pretty sure that Fenris is the one they are after." She sighed as Anke had her hand on Picasso. Vivian was getting a little bit drained, but she hadn't really done much in the battles prior to this one. So she didn't mind. |

Fenris [House] Fenris was knocked down but the storm had already started, it would stay in place for several hours or until he dissipated it. There was quite the commotion going on, from the sound of it. Vivian: "Sorry Fenris, I can't transfer energy to multiple people at once. Can you wait?" Fenris: Don't worry Vivian the storm has already begun, but I might be able to help in a different way. Vivian: "And to answer your question, I think they're after us, not Aoko. And, seeing how the arrow landed between me and Fenris, and how it wasn't even close to hitting you or Vincent, I'm pretty sure that Fenris is the one they are after." Fenris: They're after me huh? Fenris had managed to find his way behind Vivian using the smells, sounds and the flow of magic around her to guide him. Fenris: Vivian, tell me if you need help, I'm also capable of energy transferring, as it is one of the basic techniques of the Wolf Guard. Fenris had readied his shield and was standing between Vivian, Anke and the attackers. |

[Vivian][Just Outside the House] "They're after me huh?" Fenris said, "Vivian, tell me if you need help, I'm also capable of energy transferring, as it is one of the basic techniques of the Wolf Guard." "Nah," Vivian replied, "I'm fine for now. I haven't a lot of energy, whether it is Magical or Physical, since we left the Academy. I'll be fine, at least for awhile." As she was quietly transferring energy to Anke, she was deep in concentration. "Hmmm, I wonder who are attackers are?" Vivian wondered aloud, "They probably aren't anyone from Knightmare; or else they would attack us more openly. They have to be from a different source. A source that I'm pretty sure is after Fenris." She sighed. "Fenris," She said, "Did you ever have any real enemies? Or do the Stormcallers' have any enemies? How about the Fang?" Any bit of information can help in this situation, Vivian thought. She knew they weren't after her. How was she a threat? She was just a novice Illusion Master, she couldn't do any real harm. At least not yet. And then, something came into her head. She gasped at the thought. What if this is payback to something my father did? She thought. That could always be an option. Vivian knew that for sure. Her family had been threatened by her father's enemies numerous times. Yet, not one decided to attack them. They can't be after me, Vivian thought, not even my own parents know where I am, let alone some person who is only after me because of my father. With knowing this fact, she calmed down a bit, and decided not to worry about herself for the time being. "In the mean time," Vivian said, "Just protect yourself, Fenris. I know Anke and I must have protection as well, but be more concerned about your own safety for the time being. I know it has to be hard, since you can't even see where the arrows are coming from." |

Aeon | Village Aeon opened his eyes as he willed the various elemental forms floating around him from existance. He wished he could use all his power all the time, instead of sealing it up in order to protect his mind. He stood up, leaving the seal off. He enjoyed the feeling of having no restraints placed on him, whether they were self imposed or otherwise. But all good things must come to an end, and this was no exception. He started to will the seal back in place when he felt a pulse of magical energy. Looking in the direction it came from, he saw a wall of wind start to form in the distance. "Looks like Fenris has been found" Aeon said, "well since the seal is already off, I suppose I can be helpful". He tapped his staff on the ground and a wave of magic was sent out in all directions, after a short time he tapped the ground again and waited a bit longer. The magic wave returned, and Aeon absorbed it. "Vincent is away from the group, huh?" Aeon asked himself "I wonder if he's found something interesting." He turned and faced the direction Vincent was in before reapplying his seal and began to teleport. |

Fenris [House] Fenris: My enemies? Well there might be some bandit lords whom I upset during my trip to the academy and I doubt these are enemies of the Stormcallers because I have only been one like, two days, but enemies of The Fang? That's whole other thing, The Fang has been collecting enemies since it's foundation, especially from the other countries, there are few northern families with a grudge towards The Fang, but they wouldn't attack like this. Fenris smiled as he listened for any odd sounds. Fenris: If this attack was made by northerners they would have blown horns and attacked us head on. He just shrugged his shoulders. He then felt a wave of magical energy pass them, Aeon had woken up it seemed. |

[Vivian][Nearby House] "Hm," Vivian muttered, "That's odd. I don't think they are southerners either, froim what I know they would attack head on as well. Westerners don't attack like this, they first ask their opponents for a battle. If they accept, a fair battle is started. If they refuse, then it depends on the situation. They would either do a surprise attack if they must, and if not, they would continue on their way and try again later." Vivian knew much about Western battle because of her father. He taught her many things whenever she came to watch him in a tournament, or when she decided to come with him to watch him practice his skills. "So the attackers are most likely Easterners, and they might be southerners." She concluded, "but why am I babbling on at a time like this?" She chuckled. She couldn't help but share her knowledge, she was just an intelligent individual, trying to make the world just a little bit smarter by sharing her own knowledge. |

ahaha sorry for not posting for a few days |D Got some problems with RL but it's all good now [???][Somewhere in the village] Both of the assassins suddenly dropped their hands, with their weapons thrown sideways. However one of them managed to quickly mutter a spell, redirecting the curse towards both of them to logs of wood near them. The archer quickly take his bow and aim towards the house again. "I have caught the frequency... Well, They are unlucky this time.... Homing mode." As the archer aim the arrow-less bow, he sensed a disturbance in their territory. That could mean that there's someone trying to breach. He glanced over his shoulder only to look his partner's back is already turned against him and headed over the source of disturbance. The archer's hands glow for few seconds as if charging for his power. Then as he pull the string of the bow, an orb of light was materialized just like an arrowhead on the bow. "Hundreds of lights..." Using the curse anke placed on them before as guiding rail, hundreds of arrows dazzling just like city lights at night were fired from his bow. All of them are now converging towards the house. [Aoko][House] "Aoko-San do you think these people are after us, or you, it doesn't matter either way I'm just currious. Also your barrier is predicting the trajectory of their arrows right? Thats how you knew where the next arrow was going?" Aoko think for a while before shaking her head and came up with an answer. "If it were me, they'd have predicted how I'm gonna be able to use my magic to predict the trajectory of the arrow. And yes my barrier can't absorb the attacks... using my current power. " She felt something stings again, as hundreds of holes has been made on her barrier. She stands up, signalling everyone to stay on their spot using her hand as she started going to the front door. "My my.... it seems that the enemy has grown impatient." She dashed outside, standing just in front of the house as glowing blue aura is surrounding her. She faced the direction where all the arrows came from, as hundreds arrows of light headed her direction. Aoko raised her hands and an invisible forcefield protected the house from the Arrow of Lights completely, leaving the house unscathed. As aoko's forcefield continue to protect the house, Aoko's hair turned blue gradually. "I Kind of wanted to save this unless it's necessary... but It appears that This is quite a dire situation indeed" Aoko extends her barrier enveloping the entire village, detecting few human beings presence in it. Her barrier can detect any heat source, hence the presence concealment was rendered useless by it. Aoko Turned her head towards the single heat source that just fired hundreds of arrows towards her as a blue magic circle appeared below her. |

I feel almost insulted, but at the same time, I can't help but feel a little disappointed. Anke Anke listened carefully, still concentrating on her magic, as Vivian answered her question and started a conversation with Fenris. Then things started getting tricky. "What is this, they don't have skeletons!" Anke exclaimed randomly. "No that can't be it because I had them a second ago. Wait a moment! They transferred my spell to an inanimate object. But that is nearly impossible! Just who ARE these people?" As Aoko dashed out of the House Anke let up on her magic only to see the fruits of her labor. "A waste of power again. I'm really sorry Vivian." Amand Amand was sitting alone in the room at this point, when one of the Knightmares burst into the room. "We found you sister in her little gang." Amand's heart did a flip in his chest. "Where are they, is she safe, you are going to return her to me safely right?" |

All the better to lure out and take them one by one" Along with a cold and mischievous voice, from behind vincent some kind of invisible blunt object just came in contact with him. About 10 meters from there, a guy dressed in white tuxedo jumped in to the scene. The smell of cigarette can be smelled from him as if he was just bathed in a room full of smokes. He walked towards Vincent, along with that another invisible blunt objects impacted the wall behind him leaving quite a large hole. He Glanced at his partner who already left the place to reposition himself. |

[???] Vincent rose to his feet slowly, stretching and rubbing part of his back, wincing a little as he did so. He smiled a bit, as the other attacker took off. "Well, someone is certainly dressed for success, and enjoys an equally showy entrance. Personally I think you're trying a bit too hard, the formal pants are nice but you should think about trying a dress shirt instead." He walked around a bit, stretching back and to the sides a few times before drawing the Phantom and putting his left hand in his pocket. "Sarcasm not intended by the way." |
