[The Merging: Early Afternoon] Dylan hurriedly scribed another Laguz rune, trying to stem the flow of blood from Kazuma's torso. The wound closed a little more, the edges almost touching each other. Close! Damn you, close already! Dylan recited in his mind as he began to sign another rune. I'm not going to let another one die! Not another one... And for a moment, his mind flashed back to a memory of the first death he saw as a member of Creature Cure: Lord Gryphios Lowell, his senior commander and his father, bleeding his life away on the dusty floor of a warehouse, somewhere downtown... Kazuma opened his eyes, jerking straight up at the pain shooting through his body. Out of the corners of his screwed-up eyes, he saw Dylan and Hina, alarmed at his sudden movements. "Welcome back to the land of the living, Kazuma." Dylan had one hand round Kazuma's back, steadying him. "Can you walk?" ********** [Judaica, the Abyss: TIME UNKNOWN] There she was. Standing in front of his throne, the blood of proud Judaicans staining her hands, dripping onto the crystal-blue floor of his throne room. And now, she was addressing herself to him, not as a servant, but as an equal. Normally, Kasdeja would have sent an intruder like this to the great beyond with a swipe of his sword. But something in this brash newcomer interested him. "In case you haven't heard, the name's Bordeaux." she said. "A little birdie told me that you're trying to gather the Judges." How did she-? Kasdeja's eyes widened, his fingers closing tighter round the handle of his sword. How did she find that out? Could it be one of my own betrayed me to- Actually, that was me, a hollow voice said, in a voice reminiscent of dead leaves rustling. Who-? Who dares intrude? Show yourself, coward! Kasdeja would have none of this. An intruder in his castle was enough: an intruder in his mind was insufferable! All in good time, Kasdeja Zadricter, the hollow voice chuckled. Pardon the cliche, but you'll just have to wait for the answers. But wait, Vetholarel is here. He'll answer you. Give me a second. At that moment, the woman known as "Bordeaux" was speaking. "Well, I'm here to help with your world domination plans. But don't think help will come that easy. Only I, Vetholarel, and Innis' counterpart are awake; and I have no idea where that she-devil of a Judge is either." My old comrade, the voice rasped. I think a bit of an introduction is in order. Slowly, the voice reached out to Bordeaux, touched her consciousness with its presence. Good day, Vetholarel, the voice said. It's me, Ammat-Seva. Remember me? Your old friend?

[The Merging: Afternoon] "I feel like I ate a bowl of nails," Kazuma remarked. Dylan sighed in relief. If anything, Kazuma could still talk. The wound obviously was healed well enough. "Alright," he said, "let's go." He took one of Kazuma's arms, motioning at Hina to do the same. "Ryou and company are waiting for us."

The MergingllAfternoon The days events were over. Dante was gone. Bordeaux was in the Abyss, but the Violetta were still up tight. Ryou and Hina kept their senses on high alert for any threat. By now, everyone's powers and patterns were quieted down. "So much for just some fun in the sun..." Ryou said. "There's still time, if you want to celebrate Hanna...though you're probably not going to want to..." Hanna was standing backward a few feet of everyone else just looking up as the wind cared her long silky hair, her birthday dress was a mess and on her left hand her riped ribbon as she griped it she said under her breath. Lets go back home... she started to walk back to the mansion as her gaze was to the ground. She walked speechless all the way, her thoughts lost in nothingness, the expression on her face was empty once again. As she reached the Mansion she walked inside not minding anything or anyone as the maids looked at her and quickly turned there look away. Hanna walked upstairs and slammed the door to her room shot as she stayed leaning on it looking down, drips of tears started to fall on the floor, she slide down sitting on the ground resting her head on her knees. It needed to be close enough to her room to hear her cry. Happy....Birthday...Hanna....  |

-merging, afternoon- Kazuma had a feeling of guilt that he couldn't do anything helpful during the battle or nothing to stop that stranger, instead he got wounded and nearly died. As they enter the house Kazuma hide his arm under his torn cloths so that the maid wouldn't see it and walked to his room to apply bandages to it again "I'm useless.." Kazuma enters his room and takes out some bandages as he starts to wrap his arm up |

[Violetta Mansion. Time: Late Afternoon] Dylan staggered up the stairs of the mansion to his room. The spell he had cast on his injured ribs had worn off, leaving him to struggle with the pain he felt with each breath. At last, he found his bed, and flopped upon it, savoring the soft sheets beneath him. Dear gods, what a day, he thought, burrowing beneath the covers. Didn't even get any answers. All I got from the trip was a ton of questions.

[Kozo, Manion, Late Afternoon] Kozo stayed back a little on the way from the merging, and when they got to the masion he grabbed Ryou and pulled him into an abadoned hallway. "Misaki." he said as he got down on his hands and knees. "please here me out. i know i left with out a word to anyone but you, and i feel as if i brought shame upon the Violletta house." he put his head on the ground. "please gather the other headknights, and meet me in the dining room at 10pm, and i will explain myself then." he started to get up his head down and a look of dispair on his face. "i know what i have to answer to. leaving my post was dishonorable...do think she'll forgive me??" he didnt wait for ryou to answer that last part, just turned around an d heade to his old room. as he enetered it he saw a piece of paper on the floor by the window. *NOTE READS* My prince, thank you for what you did for what remains of our kingdom. we are proud to have you as our leader. your Loyal Follwer, Nezumi Hyou *END NOTE* Nezumi Oh-Maru: Looks like you gotta make a decision. your pride as a warrior, or the girl. "silence, i told you protecting her is my life." "and yet you only told misaki-kun, you were leaving. and not just that but made him promise not tell any--" Kozo grabbed the sword and threw it in his draw, and closed it. he went to his bed and plopped face first in to the pillow. "why did the "Sword of the Rat King" have to be a demon sword?" he thought to himself. "Mistress....Happy Birthday." he said uder his breath.

OOC: Sorry for the late post, but I'm back. RYOU MISAKI & HINA KAGUYA The Merging||Sunset Ryou watched in silence as Hanna left. Hina placed a hand onf his shoulder but he shrugged it off. "I don't think she'll be fine this time. On her own birthday... attacked... I'm going on ahead..." Ryou went jumping through the trees, heading towards the Violetta Mansion. he watched as he did, then turned to the others. "All right guys, let's clean up, then head back to the mansion!" and so they did. Back at the mansion, when ryou arrived, the guards stepped out of his way. he walked into the mansion and up the stairs to Hanna's room. He heard the soft, faint crying of a young girl. he knocked on Hanna's door, but no answer. he knocked again, this time louder, saying, "Hanna, I know you're in there, open up." still no answer. On the third try, he didn't present any formailities and just opened up the door. there she was, sitting on the ground with her head in her knees. Ryou sighed then went to go sit beside her. he wrapped his arm arounhd her shoulder, and tried to comfort her. "Come on Hanna, try and be strong for your family. Without you they wouldn't know what to do." ryou was sarcastic there but had no hint in his body or tone. "I understand if your sad, but you need to pull your act together. I won't always be around to babysit you Hanna." with that Ryou stood up and walked out of the room. Ryou exited the room with a lok of anguish about his face. When he walked around the corner, he was stopped by Kozo who explained his terms to Ryou. "I'm sorry, but tonight's not the night for this Kozo." Ryou shrugged off Kozo and went to his room, closing the door behind him and layed down on his bed, facing the window, he began to talk in a quiet tone, "Poor child... having to go through so much torment and anguish... no one can feel her pain... no one but me..." With that, Ryou fell asleep just as Hina jumped up into the window. She notcied he was asleep, then went back into the Merging to finish some unfinished business.

RYOU MISAKI Ryou's Room Lightning filled Ryou's room, and as it flashed, he jerked upright in his sleep, panting and sweating. As lightning struck again, Ryou whispered one word to himself, "Hina..." A bad premonition came over Ryou, and his gut wrenched; something grave was going to happen. In a hurry, he got out of his bed, and got dressed. he through on his scarf and jumped out of the window, heading into the forest. Ryou had no sweater, no jacket, no hood. Only his pants, tanktop, and scarf, yet he didn't feel cold. He jumped down into the bushed, undetected. He looked out into the clearing, and in a hushed whisper, exclaimed, "Hina...!" In the center of the clearing, was Hina, fighting an unrecognized figure, cloaked by darkness. They were fighting, but from Ryou's perspective, Hina was losing; and he was right. The wounded Hina fell to one knee, and the shadowed figure walked up to her. They raised their sword, which was curved all along the blade, and had thorn-like spikes sticking out from all points on the sword. They brought down their sword, on the unprotected Hina, slicing right through her torso. Ryou now stood up in the bushed and yelled, "Hina!" In a frenzy, Ryou ran out into the clearing, slid, and caught Hina before she hit the ground. The figure, was now runnng nto the forest, laughing and yelling, "I killed a Sentry!" in a maniacal voice. Lightning struck once more and tears began to gather in Ryou's eyes. "Hina..." he said, now crying. With the last of he strength, Hina reached out and placed her hand on Ryou's cheak, weakly saying, "Ryou... don't worry... I'll-" she was cut off by a coughing fit, hen resumed her train of thought, "I'll always... be with... you..." he hand dropped and her body fell limp. Ryou raised his head to the sky and screamed with anguish, "HIIIIIINAAAAAAAA!" Birds, sleeping in the forest flew in away, startled by the scream. It was also heard by the people at the Violetta Mansion. Ryou began to cry more havily now. In a couple of minutes, the Violetta family arrived, led by Hanna. They were all shocked at what had happened, and could tell Hina had been killed. Ryou noticed their presence, and began to stand up, going insane, and muttering to himself, "i won't let you take her away from me. Not ever." over and over again. He was now facing the Violetta, his head looking at the ground. he then bursted into a blind rage, swinging his arms around, and rock pillars shooting up all around him and Hina. "I WON'T LET YOU TOUCH HER!" he yelled while doing so; his pattern, starting to flash violently. But even over Ryou's rampage, a gunshot could be heard throughout the forest. Hanna's arm was raised with a gun in her hand, smoke filing out of the barrel. Ryou fell to the ground, senses returned, and shock in his eyes. The shot only pierced his shoulder, the wound would not be fatal. he just layed there his eyes wide opened, tears still trickling down his face.

OCC: horay its still going but i don't know how the mistress was fine after here little step out the window -Kazuma's room, night- Kazuma gripped his heart as he felt that something had gone wrong, like a feeling of something turning his stomach around. He looks out at the window with soulless eyes like he was even there as he silently starts crying tears that weren't his but belonged to someone in him. ~"The sentries are not as great as they once were"~ Kazuma snaps back into reality and realizes he was crying, he wipes away the tears and hears a gunshot. Kazuma runs down the hall and outside to find what was happening and looks over at the clearing with Ryou holding Hina for some reason. The sharp stomach wrenching pain returns and he walks over to him. He stops behind him and asks in a voice trying to deny something that was obvious "Hey Ryou whats wrong?" Blood seeps the ground as the rain as everyone around looks like they know what happened "Hey shouldn't we get Hina and you inside?" Kazuma's vision starts the get blurry a little as the realization starts to seep in |

Hannall Mansionll Night Everyone was back at home, the mansion was silent as the night grew and th moon stood lighted the rain drops. After Ryou came inside Hanna's room and spoke to her. she laid in the middle of her bed, she stood with as she was after the fight. By that time everyone was sleeping or in there room. Hanna justs stood all that time repeating in her thoughts the words that Ryou had said to her. "I understand if your sad, but you need to pull your act together. I won't always be around to babysit you Hanna." And as thous words surround her thoughts, she grips the bed sheet placing her face down on it, she bites her lower lip and twist and turns. Then a lightning struck and the sound broke the silence. In Hanna's room the windows to the back were opened. And the body of the young Mistress was socking wet from the cold rain as she stood on top of the mansions edge. Her gaze wondering around the rain drops and fusing together with her tear drops. Her eyes looked lost and blank. Slowly she rose her arms up to the rainy sky and slowly placed him to the side of her body, as small rocks fell from the rooftop to the ground it was quite high from the rooftop and the ground. she closed her eyes and under her maybe last breath. You gotta be out there,you gotta be somewhere...wherever you are... I'm waiting.... Barefooted the young mischievous Mistress steps on foot to the nothingness, slowly letting her body fallowed. But then she heard a loud scream coming from Ryou. As she quickly stepped back from the edge. And as she did so she jumped landing on the ground safely. She quickly fallowed Ryou's voice as Kazuma was there. Ryou noticed his presence, and began to stand up, going insane, and muttering to himself, "i won't let you take her away from me. Not ever." over and over again. He was now facing the Violetta, his head looking at the ground. he then bursted into a blind rage, swinging his arms around, and rock pillars shooting up all around him and Hina. She kept looking at the lifeless body of one of her family members. The wind picked up and Hanna kneeled down close to Hina's body and whispered in her ear I Release You.. As Hina's body started to disappeared leaving a purple aura behind, and suddenly one flower, just like the one's she has on her garden bloomed. The young one stayed in front of it as she heard Ryou's cry, but Hanna dint shed a single tear. |

(Nezumi Kozo, Kozo's room, night) Kozo shot up in bed hearing a wild hissing outside his window. when he looked he saw Hyou. Hyou was Kozo's cousin from rat demon colony located in the mountians, on tbhe otherside of the merging. "Hyou! what are you doing here?" he whispered. "some of us followed you back, but that doesnt matter. that girl is on the roof." Kozograbbed his cloak and Nezumi-oh Maru, and ran out side. his cousin met him at the back door. then he heard the scream of Ryou. "Misaki-kun!" he saw Hannah land on the ground and she and some guards ran into the forst. "i'll deal with this insubordinance, later." he said looking Hyou in the eyes. He caught up with Hannah and the others. "I WONT LET YOU TOUCH HER!" Ryou shouted as pillars and rock shot up around him and HIna. just then a shot was heard and Ryou started to calm himself. hannah had shot Ryou in the shoulder, then walked past him tothe lifeless body of Hina. Kozo walked up the Ryou who as crying on the ground, Hina was like his mother, and Kozo couldnt help but notice a tear start to form in his own eye. he wiped it away and said to Ryou. "I know, my brother, how it feels to loose a mohter." Hannah knelt down and wispered into Hina's ear "i release you." and the bosy disappeared. Kozo patted Ryou on the back then walked over to Hannah. He knelt down in a knightly fashion. "Mistress you should go home and rest. Please allow me to go after him, the scent is still fresh. i promise i will bring him back alive and he will answer, to the family, for what he's done." just then Kozo heard the branches rustle and saw rat demons running in the direction the man went. 'those fools' he thought to himself, they're going to get themselves killed.

RYOU MISAKI Forest||Night Ryou just layed still through it all, then replied to Kozo's response, "No... you don'y know my pain... I have no family anymore... No one knows my pain, accept for her..." Kozo could tell that the "her," he was referring to was Hanna. Kozo's rat demon family went off into the forest in pursuit, but a little later, just as kozo predicted, their cries could be heard throughout the forest. Ryou began to think about things, then made his hand into a fist into the ground, grabbing dirt. He then closed his eyes, and got up and ran into the forest, angry. An angry look clear on his face that they all could see as well. Ryou shifted into his half-demon form, which he hadn't done in a while and sped through the forest, his pattern pulsing rapidly. It wasn't before long that he turned into Skeith. After a couple minutes, Ryou caught up with the figure, and a cannon formed around Skeith's arm. he pointed at the stranger and fired and large blast of energy. The stranger glanced over their shoulder, and was caught off guard by the blast. The blast hit them, and sent them rocketing through the forest, breaking down trees, and tumbling all over the place, limbs going everywhere. The stranger came to a halt in a clearing, and stood up, completely fine. "So he's found me..." they said to themself. Skeith came speeding through the trees, its scythe drawn, and Ryou in complete control. Using momentum, Ryou slashed with the scythe, but the stranger simply help up their sword, blocking the attack. Skeith faded out, and there was ryou, a suprised look on his face. "How did they... block that... so easily?" he thought to himself. Just by exerting a little force, the figure knocked Ryou off balance, then uppercutted Skeith, knocking him back. Skeith came to a sliding stop and Ryou looked up. "You're that person from earlier today in the Merging!" Ryou said, identifying them. The stranger walked into the moonlight, exposing the face, "Please, call me Bordeaux," Ryou was astonished, the stranger he had despised so much was a woman. He quicklly regained his composure and focused his thoughts on the battle that was about to happen.

-Forest, night- Kazuma looked up from the flower and watched Ryou run into the forest. His eyes starts to fade away as becoming soulless and controlled. He walked into the forest after Ryou leaving behind a trial of ice that slowly froze the ground. As he gets to the clearing he sees Ryou and the Figure fighting and hears her name "Bordeaux" Kazuma's eyes open wide as if in shock but not of his own free will, some other was controlling him from inside. He walks into the opening as his eyes turn ice blue and he slams his fist into the ground freezing it around Bordeaux to give Ryou a hand. A unfamiliar voice rings out of Kazuma's mouth as he spoke ???: "I see you are awake Bordeaux.." Kazuma looks at Ryou, the soulless eyes showing remorse and pity ???: "I am sorry for your lose" |

Hanna Forest||Night Kozo patted Ryou on the back then walked over to Hannah. He knelt down in a knightly fashion. "Mistress you should go home and rest. Please allow me to go after him, the scent is still fresh. i promise i will bring him back alive and he will answer, to the family, for what he's done." As Kozo was about to move ahead,RyouRyou shifted into his half-demon form, which he hadn't done in a while and sped through the forest, his pattern pulsing rapidly. It wasn't before long that he turned into Skeith. Hanna knew that Ryou would react this way, and he did so she got up and spoke to Kozo. That wont be necessary, i WON'T be pampered any longer... Im the hair to this household and you're Mistress and is time for me to leave my filling and what i want behind. From now one.. Im just what i am... As she finished that sentence a purple light blinded Kozo for a few seconds as she was dressed in her Creature Cure Uniform, Her Tattoo was brighter in a blink of an eye she was running towards Ryou and Kazuma's Direction, as she pulled out her twin Gun set. Under her breath she spoke to herself, she kept running and quickly she reached Ryou's location. She found there Kazuma as well bu he looked drifted, she saw Ryou focusing on the battle that it was about to start but as he was going to take his stand she walked beside him but as soon as she did she quickly too a step and rushed to the new opponent, Reveling her twin guns and took a pinpoint accuracy to shoot as she spoke. I won't let you... I won't Let you RYOU!, the flame in you're heart.. I won't let it burn out!. As she jumped above the enemy. I won't let it happen to you as well! As Memories of her and Ryou when they were young, pass like chapters in her thoughts and suddenly the wings that were her curse released and a bright light covered the forest for a few seconds as it cleared up and her wings were exposed. |

(Nezumi Kozo, forest, night) I watched as Hannah left in the direction of Ryou and Kazuma. i jumped into the trees and followed the path that Hyou took, and found him badly wounded. "sorry, my lord. i.." Hyou started. "shut up Nezumi Hyou." i interrupted. "i told you to go hom, i did not tell you go get yourself killed. *sigh* can you still run?" i inquired. Hyou: "Hai. 'tis but awound." Kozo: "good, then go home. i dont want to see another member of my family get killed today." Kozo turnhedx toward Hannah's direction. he feels a burst of energy and then turns back to Hyou. you are my cousin. and eldest of the tribe. you lead them. i found my place in life, and it's.." "that girls lapdog." Nezumi-oh Maru blurted out. Kozo grabs the hilt and slams the sword back in its scabber. "it is at lady Hannah's side." Kozo finished. "but the sword chose YOU!" Hyou shouted. "you.. as heir to the Rat King's throne." "i refuse."kozo said to his cousin. "what kind of chivalier would i be, if i abandoned the family." hKozo looked Hyou in thte eyes. "YOU will rule in my place. that is my final order as the Nezumi-Oh (Rat King)." after that kozo ran off in Hannah's direction. As Kozo leaves another rat jumps out of a tree "he's not coming home." "no, no he's not. let's go." Hyou and the other rat walk away. Kozo jumps from tree to tree. he jumps out where Hannah and the others are, and lands on the other side of Bordeaux, form Hannah. Kozo draws Nezumi-Oh Maru as lightning strikes once more. (OOC: hey guys! i'm recruiting for the "Vongola Famiglia" thread in "Other". so if anyone wants to join the mafia go on over there and sign up, and tell them the Cloud Guardian sent you.)

RYOU MISAKI & BORDEAUX Forest||Night At first, it was only Kazuma that showed up, and intsantly, ryou looked over at Kazuma and yelled, "What the hell are you doing here?! This is my fight; mine alone! I will avenge Hina! Only me!" the cannon once again formed around his arm, and he aimed at kazuma after he froze Bordeaux, "I don't need your damn help!" he said, firing the cannon. Bordeaux easily broke out of the ice though. She wiped a few ice shards off her leg then looked up at Ryou. "A little internal strife?" Ryou turned his direction back to Bordeaux, "You shut up!" he said extending Skeith's arm, trying to grab her face. Bordeux simply sidestepped, then rushed Skeith while hiding in the shadow of his arm. Ryou readied Skeith's scythe in the other hand, and swung when Bordeaux neared him. Bordeaux, forced to guard, held up her sword, but was pushed back a ways. When she came to a halt, her arm was limp, and it was able to wiggle in awkward positions; Ryou had dislocated it with Skeith's strength. Bordeaux's arm began to wiggle around, then snapped into place in a jolt. Now Hanna and Kozo had arrived, and Ryou once again, looked at them in rage. "Leave me to fight alone, you damn Violetta!" Ryou once again yelled swinging his scythe at hanna, causing her to jump back in the tree. Ryou aimed the cannon at Kozo who was behind Bordeaux. Bordeaux didn't flinch, because Ryou's shot diespersed around her, then came together once again before hitting Kozo; who was forced to jump away. "JUST LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!" Ryou yelled as skeith roared. he rushed Bordeaux so fast that he instantly was in front of her. With a suprised look on Bordeaux's face, Ryou punched her with extreme force. She was sent speeding backwards into a tree, knocking it over on top of her. Ryou, as Skeith, walked over, and picked up the tree and threw it. Bordeaux was not there, but there was a hole in the ground. he looked around, trying to find her. With his guard let down, a black arm reached out of the ground and grabbed Skeith's face, and began to crush it. Bordeaux slowly came out of the ground a smile on her face. Her arm was transformed by the AIDA virus, the virus that had infected Dante earlier. "Poor baby Ryou, can't do a single thing to hurt his precious mother. I'll let you know a secret Ryou," Bordeaux began to say as Ryou was struggling, "Hina wanted me to kill her, she begged for me to take her away from the world," Ryou's eyes were now open and filled with anger, Bordeaux still had a grasp though. "she said she had no connection left to this world and she might as well leave it." The ground began to shake from Ryou's rage manifesting iself as real energy. Ryou's voice soon bursted in the air, creating an immense wind, causing Hina, Kozo, and Kazuma to flinch, "THAT ISN'T TRUE! SHE WOULD NEVER DO THAT!" it said. A black aura surrounded Skeith, and it grabbed Bordeaux's arm and pulled it away from it's face. With it's other hand, it summoned its cannon and aiming directly at Bordeaux's face. Bordeaux could not escape, and Skeith shot her at point blank. When the light from the blast cleared, Bordeaux's head was shot off completely. But AIDA dots started to swarm, and Bordeaux's head was reformed, a smirk on her face. Bordeaux's claws shot straight through Skeith's body, piercing Ryou in the inside too. She then drew her sword, and cut through Skeith, and hitting Ryou too. Instantly, Skeith let go of her arms, and Ryou's voice could be heard, yelling out in pain. Skeith faded, and there was Ryou, grasping his arm in true pain, AIDA virus surrounding his arm. "It burns! Stop the pain!" he yelled in anguish. Bordeaux took this chance to retreat.
