hmmm. let me see.... i think it's sailor moon... i watched it on tv with my sister when i was don't know how young... maybe bout 4 or 5... well let's just say i was so young that i can't even remember what sailor moon is about...or i just couldn't understand..hehe.... oh and dragon ball...those used to be my sister's favs and i just followed.. another one of my first anime is samurai x.... i used to watch it when i was bout 10... every saturday morning at 10 am....hahaha.... and then cardcaptor sakura would come after that at 10.30 am.... then slam dunk....can't believe i still remember that.. and i used to love pokemon too....i would watch during the hols

my firsts were probably pokemon...cardcaptor sakura and naruto. I loved pokemon when I was like 8, I watched it ever day... |

oddly enough, my mom is the reason I likey anime, she and I both sat and watched "Princess Mononoke" (btw Miyazaki=sheer undiluted brilliance) at like 6 i didn't understand it but I remember thinking, "cool that thing is walking around without a head", ahh, good ol' days, oh, and, its still cool that its walking without a head. ;) d_(*_,*)_b

| haha, my first anime? its hard to recall when i started watching since 5 years old but i guess it is Dragon Ball or Slam Dunk. lol. well, the actions drove me to watch more animes even when i am studying right now in university:D |

I think it was Sailor Moon. The dub was broadcasted on TV when I was a little kid. I didn't actually know it was anime though; actually I didn't even know what anime was! Later I got into Pokemon, also from watching dub on TV, although I don't think that's how I first knew of it. Maybe it was everyone owning trading cards all of a sudden that brought me into the world of Pokemon.. not that I ever owned any trading cards.. Anyway! My first officially recognised anime [i.e. I actually knew it was anime, not any cartoon on TV.] was Naruto! My friend introduced me to it. I first watched a OAV and a few episodes that she had brought to school and they were TERRIBLE. I really disliked Naruto until I decided to watch it for the reason of filling up spare time and now I love it! I still hate that OAV and those episodes I first watched though.. |
