Will be looking forward to hearing you~ @Ruka: I nearly wanted to spell your name as Rukia... hahah... too much Bleach for me. 1st of all, Welcome!! About your recording Ruka... you sound really muffled in it. You might wanna try to sing further away from the mic and also try to remove some of the extra noises (eg: breathing noise on music only parts)~ I couldn't really comment on your vocal since the muffle is really getting to me... =X  |

Thanks for the comments! Unfortunately, I cant sing a full version of this because I dont have a rapper and it was only a one-time shot to see if my voice suits the song. Im trying to explore as many genres and styles of Japanese music as I can =) I'll keep in mind the suggestions! Thanks again! @rinzhen: VERY VERY nice voice! And I love the emotions you put onto the song! I also love your voice transition from chest to head voice & falsetto during the high notes. I cant do a decent falsetto without cracking..lol...I envy you! XDDD Sounds like you had tons of fun singing it! Your recording is also very clear...may I ask, what mic are you using? yay! New song!! @Amydien: Wow! you can use your normal to sing a male-vocal song?! I always end up singing them in really low pitch. Timing and pitch is good... I feel that this song should have a bit more energy in it though. Hope to hear more from you!! |

@Engel: Haha, Im more comfortable singing in my alto (I can still sing it in a slightly lower pitch than the one I used)....I just started noticing that while practising my singing...it sounds a bit dead at the moment but Im working on it! XD @zparticus: Thanks! Im working on more cover songs this summer, while Im still on summer break from school XDDDD I wish more people would post their singing clips...it's really fun listening to others. This is kinds random but, do you guys know any good jpop/anime forums? Most of what I know is mainly korean (soompi, bww2, z-degrees....) |

@amydien Thank you :3 LOL, yeah, it was plenty of fun singing this song. Which mic? I'm using my old Labtec mic. It used to be real fuzzy but I managed to clean up my audio :)  |

I thought was the original singer~~ You sung with lotsa confidence and you have a great voice. I guess the only thing that can improve it is the energy level~ Though you have "the energy" in the song but somehow... I feel that you can "burn" more~~ MOE!!!! @Miky:: Well done as usual~ you are really good with these difficult (utada hikaru) songs~~ Your pitch perfect, great timing, lovely harmonies and a good amount of emotions make it hard to not give 2 thumbs up! *shows thumbs* And though is the first time I heard "I still believe"... you made me fall in love with it instantly... with your voice of course~ |

I've been REALLY busy with all my school work (yeah, early in september and we get piles and piles of assignments already *pouts*), so Im just gonna share something I recorded back in April. Some say this is my best cover song (although I always give my best in every cover song I do lol). Is Mid Autumn festival (aka Mooncake festival) today~ It is a chinese festival celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month on the lunar calendar... and during the fest, we eat mooncakes and pomelos, walk around with candle-lited lanterns, and just watch the moon~ (hmm... something like hanami... but this is tsukimi?) On the box of mooncake I bought yesterday, I found this old poem (which was made into a song) and out of the festival feeling, decide to sing it...But because there's no BGM... please bear with my horrible singing~~ Happy Mooncake Festival!!! ä¸ç§‹èŠ‚å¿«ä¹ï¼ And after listening to my horrible singing... here's something sweet for everyone~~ *shares some yummy mooncake...*    @Amydien: Great singing... |

Miky!! Great recording as usual!! Can't wait to hear the final version! Hahah! Singers from the 70s eh... hmm... actually when I was much younger... I love to mimic those old singers way of singing... perhaps that bit of it still remains in my system... maybe I should try and sing some really old chinese songs to see how it'll sound... vibratto! Hahaha~~ All Gintama songs are weird...one way or the other. Maybe that's why I love them! o.o I dunno how come my voice changed to that pitch when I'm recording that... most of the time my voice changes to suit the song... automatically... and if I tried to change it back to normal... it'll end up sounding funny... to me at least... Love the songs by MEEP... I miss doing duets.... But then again... these days I've got no time and "feel" to sing...and I love Hoshimura Mai too!! Though I haven't heard much of her songs... I bought a Philips SBC MD650 @ SGD 49.90... Not too pricy considering I now finally have a good mic. Perhaps I can now sing better for your project MEEP... which reminds me... I haven't even done any recording after I sent you that recordings... |
