@Anke - Welcome back! Good to see you again! Basically, every RP on the first page of Gendou City is probably new to you. I've started two myself, 'Pokemon' and 'Under the Pale Blue Sky' (I have to include some kind of self promotion XD). Free and Dream is gone, simply put. Fenris sent me a message a while ago talking about doing up an ending for it, but I don't know what became of that idea. EDIT: @Toyumi - Yeah, if nothing happens by tomorrow then I'm going to have to send a message over to Fenris. Getting that group on the boat is mainly what needs to happen right now. I'm trying to set up some action with that. So he is still working on that. Well, I'll need to get in contact with Kenji then. I want to know what his character will end up doing before I go creating an epilogue for mine. I guess king will have to be left out, since I haven't seen him in close to two months.    |

@ Jon- Well, if the Pokemon RP still has you, Fenris, Haseo, Landon, and myself, then I think it could go on, even if we end up traveling in one big group or something instead of having two small groups like you had originally planned for the RP. Also, in Under the Pale Blue Sky, I've been waiting on Fenris or Roxas to respond (Mainly Fenris, so he can get our group on the boat and whatnot). Don't know about the others in my group, but they might be waiting for one of those two to respond as well. And about the Free and Dream ending, I've talked with Fenris about it as well. Last I knew he was still planning on doing it, or at least attempting to do it. He wants to make it one big epilogue post that will explain what happened to each of the characters immediately after what's currently going on in the RP and then a few months/years after that in a summary format, to give a more definite ending to the RP instead of having it die off like it did. For example, Vivian and Fenris' part of the epilogue would explain what they did for a few months after the twins were born, and then go into a bit of a summary for what happened for 16 years or so after that. Fenris wanted to make our part of the epilogue end at 16 years after the current time in the RP to explain a bit about how the twins grew up and whatnot, but I don't think you have to go that far into the future for your part of the epilogue. I think he wanted you to cover Anke's part of the epilogue too, but now that she's back maybe Fenris can PM her about his plans for this epilogue thing and you and her could work together on it? (Since your characters had a bit of a thing going on in the RP and if you want to end that in the epilogue.) @ Anke- Anke! It's nice to see you around Gendou again! As for RP's, I actually would have to recommend Under the Pale Blue Sky as well. Under the Pale Blue Sky kind of reminds me of Free and Dream, which is why I personally like it. I would also recommend Jon's Pokemon RP too if you're into Pokemon or if you don't mind doing a bit of research about it. Well, as for my school RP, I've given up on that idea. It always keeps on turning out to be way too much like my school. XD So now it's back to the beginning, and now I've been thinking about creating either a Survival or Sci-Fi RP. I kind of want to try out a Survival RP, although everything that I've come up with so far seems too much like The Hunger Games (Which is a good book, although I don't really want to base an RP off of it). I'm going to see if I can come up with anything else this week.  |

@Anke: Nice to meet you! @Jon: I agree with you on the Persona Rp even though I haven't posted much xD. @All: As some of you know I've been studying for finals lately and it's sent my rp mind into overdrive. So I ended up writing a somewhat plot for an rp. Feel free to comment Three swords of fate. Born of the emotions of time they were used time and time again to calm the storm known as war. Now 500 years into the future the sword became lost in time and there power only told in stories. Until one day a great hunt for the swords begin. With every hunter and collector after it the worlds may be facing another storm. The ties of history and a fierce power are what stand between the humans and the swords.

@Zaku - It tends to happen quite a lot. I would say that by the time Aoi moves the RP ahead, we'll be down to about 6 or 7 members in the Persona RP. Which is not a bad thing mind you, at least in my eyes. I think a smaller cast of players is a lot easier in terms of management and following along with the story. @Anke - Good to hear. I sent you a PM about your character, since there are basically two groups to join up with at the moment. @Toyumi - (I added this to my last post, but I'll add it here too.) So he is still working on that. Well, I'll need to get in contact with Kenji then. I want to know what his character will end up doing before I go creating an epilogue for mine. I guess king will have to be left out, since I haven't seen him in close to two months. Also, I want to apologize to all the people that have been pitching RP plot ideas. I'm not ignoring them because I have something against anyone here, I just have a feeling that my critiquing would add nothing of value. Note to everyone in 'Under the Pale Blue Sky': Fenris has posted now, so I'll be doing some work on the RP when I get the time over the next few days. It seems that some people have dropped out or have stopped posting, so I'll need to combine the two groups we currently have. It's a little earlier than I had hoped, but if I don't do it now then we could lose players at a much quicker rate. I'll also be weeding out the people who haven't posted in a long time. There will also (finally) be some action! So I hope people will continue to stick with it. After I get that sorted out, I need to refocus on Pokemon, which is also slowing down a lot and still hasn't attracted any new players, well, except the guy that posted in the RP last, but somehow I doubt he will actually take part. |

managed to get a post in Under The Blue Sky and Zero's Infinite Contract. I'm considering closing God Child 2 as the response of those taking part is very very low. Thankfully I managed to come up with an RP idea: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ D.M.C. Inc. This story takes place 10 years after the events of Devil May Cry 4 and directly after Devil May Cry 2. Dante is now trapped in hell and the Devils of the world are planning a massive offensive to take advantage of this. However, Dante had a backup plan in case something like this happened. During the 10 years, he had traveled the world and along the way of slaying demons, he found others like him and Virgil. Half-demons, devil touched (like Lady), and kindred Devils (like Trish and Sparda himself). Dante took the time to help them all stabilize their lives and powers while giving an offer. He offered all of them a chance to open and run a branch of Devil May Cry in their respective countries. This then became known as Devil May Cry Incorporated aka D.M.C. Inc. Now with Dante missing, someone has recalled ALL of the young Devil Hunters to the HQ branch of DMC in Miami, Florida. It seems that the time has come for the next generation to take things into their hands... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As you can see, it is heavily based on the Devil May Cry games. Of course when I finish things up, more will be elaborated. The young Devil Hunters will be under the jurisdiction of Lady/Mary, Lucia, Trish, Patty Lowell, Morrison, Nero and the mysterious man who recalled them all. (note: the mystery man is the one at the end of DMC 2 who rides a bike to the shop. It is NOT Dante.) Each country has only ONE branch of D.M.C. Inc. expect for certain countries like America which has 5 not including its main HQ(New York, Los Angeles, Salem, Louisiana, and Seattle) due to the sheer size of the country.   |

@ Jon- I'll be posting in both Under the Pale Blue Sky and the Pokemon RP later today, I had an English critical lens essay occupying all of my RP time for the past few days. >.> @ Roxas- Your RP idea is alright, but the only thing I don't like about it is that it's based off of a series. Like I've said to other RPer's, if you want to base an RP off of a series, you have to explain the series so RPer's who don't know about the series (Like myself, in this case) could join your RP. For example, just from your description I don't understand much about the RP; you'd have to explain the background of Dante, the differences between half-demon, devil touched, and kindred devils, what the branches/ incorporation of Devil May Cry does, what a Devil Hunter does, and about all of the other important characters you mentioned in your post (Virgil, Lady/Mary, Trish, etc.). If you don't explain those types of things, then you might get a limited response to the RP. Yesterday I thought of a new idea for the RP I want to create once my summer break starts. I don't want to say too much about it right now, other than that it's a Sci-Fi RP, because I don't have all of the details of it down yet. But when I do have things sorted out for the RP, then I'll share some of the plot for the RP here. |

@Toyumi - You may want to hold off for a minute. I'm about to start on a big post (or at least what I expect to be a big post) that will bring the two groups together. I was going to spread it out over more posts, but I no longer have the time to do that now that Anke has joined in and some people have stopped posting. As for Pokemon, you are free to post there, since Haseo has replied. I'm waiting on LnDn at the moment, because my character and Rosa need a talking scene. I think I will do something with the antagonists though, since I have kind of forgotten about them recently. |

Hello ppl, I won't be as active than I used to in the RPs because 1. I accidentally busted my pc (and the repair ppl are too lazy to fix it this week) 2. I have finals coming up in 2 weeks. Currently all I have in my hand is a iPhone (it sucks when trying to type long posts) so I won't be posting a's often. I will give SoMI privileges to Big-Worm(he is actually pretty good) till I get my pc fixed.   |

@Snake - Try and keep the 2 post rule in mind please. You just broke it. @Frozen - Welcome to the club! Alright, I'm going to give Pokemon a few more days before I post there. I may have to send invites out to people though, in the hopes of attracting more members to the RP. I did a bit of structure work on Under the Pale Blue Sky, and now there's a battle scene going on. That gives me a few days to come up with some ideas on what I should do with the plot. I'm a little stuck at the moment on how to handle the post-battle events. I never actually came up with a master plan, so I'm unsure of what the big-picture of the RP will be. I'll come up with something though, I'm sure of it. The battle scene gives a bit of time to come up with some plans. Finally, I'm thinking of doing something from now on, for any RP's that I start. I was thinking of giving people (or allowing people to use) small ribbons that represent RP's. Kind of like what people do with the -ISM thing. I don't have the time to come up with a mock-up at the moment, since it's really late, but I should be able to easily do one tomorrow. What does everyone think? Useless idea? I was kind of hoping that it would give people a little more pride in the RP that they are taking part in. Maybe I'm going about this the wrong way though, now that I think about it. >.> |

@Snake Of course I'll be a pilot. Why not have America be the superpower of air/land? It would make things easier to have countries major in one type of combat. I was thinking of suits similar to a mix of Iron man and Masterchief but it may be overwhelming depending on the players. Also. . . I believe that the RP won't end if the player limit is set to 20. People tend to drop off from time to time usually due to personal issues. |

I'd like to issue an apology to Jon, and others in Pokemon and UTPBS. My life's been really chaotic lately. But that's not to say that it's been bad-- it's been quite great. I've really gotten wrapped up in real life, and I kind of forgot about responsibilities I had here. Please, just bear with me soon, I'll post in Pokemon tomorrow, and try to post in UTPBS tomorrow as well. I, also, have an rp idea I'm starting to build-up. I've had the story concept in my head for some time, probably about the same time I had the idea for Other Life. It was supposed to be set as a precursor to Other Life, but I really didn't have the time to put it in the motions. It would have touched on Otherace and what hapenned before their invasion of earth. But since, I've scrapped the idea of a prequel and made it's own concept, and here it is: The planet of Adrene had been experiencing a time of peace for quite some time now. There had been no war, no famine, no depression in the economy. Because of this peace, civilization was able to advance, but due to a coalition agreement after the last war, development had weapons had been halted. Then, one normal day in the country of Lidell, a strange object fell from the sky. It attracted scientists from around the planet to investigate what it was; none of them had any idea. It was a space rock that they had never seen. Too large to move, the scientists studied it there. Soon after it fell, however, scientists as well as people in the area began to fall gravely ill and die from an unknown disease. Some people even mutated, into these sludgy creatures. The dead were considered the lucky. The stone was found to be the origin as the cause, and the environment around the stone began to decay, and become a toxic wasteland. Then, Armageddon struck. Hundreds of the same stones rained down from the sky, crash landing into Adrene, and eventually the whole planet was contaminated. The race of life on the planet, which happened to be human, built domes around their cities to protect themselves from the unknown substance the rocks released. But even though they had built domes, contamination was still spreading. People went missing, and eventually, their mutated bodies would be found destroying buildings. The capital of the county Martel is where this takes place. An organization has been put into action to protect the city from the contamination effect. But how long could they last? The outside was unknown, something had be lurking outside their domes... Any opinions?

@ Jon- The first thing that comes to my mind when you say ribbons are the awareness ribbons for cancer and AIDS. Not sure if you mean that type of ribbon or not. XD As for the idea, quite honestly I have to say that I don't like it. If you have a ribbon for your RP's, then the ribbon might just serve as a come-on, having people who aren't dedicated RPer's join the RP just so they can have the ribbon to go with it. @ Snake- Like what Jon pointed out, you broke the 2 post rule here. @ Haseo- You sure do like RP's where strange rocks are found by people, don't you? XD Anyway, I like the idea, even though I think it seems a bit... Clichéd, I guess (I can't think of any other word to describe what I mean at the moment, sorry if it sounds kind of harsh >.>). Although if you go through with the idea and make it into an RP, I'd be willing to join. |
