I grew up watching the Mandarin Dubs of the Doraemon TV series... probably was watching season 5 or 6 at the time. An older cousin of mine founded the local Anime Club in our city back when VHS tapes were the only sources and Laser Discs were starting to become available. The original Macross which he showed to me in a room at the local library along with maybe 4-5 other club members, was the anime that really launched my own otaku journey. |

My first anime was Bleach, which a mate of mine introduced me to, and that got me into the whole anime thing...

I think it was Sailor Moon. =.= I didn't know it was an anime at that time. Its still one of my faves though. |

Mine was Sailor Moon circa 1996. Ah, good times, good times... The Robotech from the original Toonami lineup was a favorite of mine, too. |

Ok. Most of you guys probably haven't even heard of this anime. It's pretty old. I think it first aired in Japan in 1999 or something. Anyway, it's called Marmalade Boy. It's kind of an anime style soap. It's about a group of high school people who get caught up in love triangles or rectangles or dodecagons! But it was a good series and I loved it. You guys should check it out. Alot of the Episodes are on YouTube. Miki and Yuu forever! |

| God, I'll feel so old saying this, but Samurai Pizza Cats was my first anime. After that it was definiately Sailor Moon...and the rest is history. |
