I hope there is no continuation. If it happens, it possibly created another DESTINY series after Gundam SEED ^^; It's possible if Lelouch is still alive. Remember when the memories come from Lelouch's touch ? It's the same reaction when C.C. connected her Code, sign of immortality. That provide Lelouch as a perfect Geass-user. He probably receive the Code from his father grab. And Lelouch turns into R2 -> Rurushu Ranperuji Newtype confirmed Lelouch is already dead. But, a death is not always a life, it can be a name or anything else. Same as Resha Valentine in Groove Adventure : RAVE Lots of personal blog choose this theory. At last, Lelouch's death will always have different meanings on every hearts. |

I'd prefer OVA. I'm afraid if there will be degradation of quality when it turns into movie. |

A movie would just re-cap the season, or half of it so no reason for that. At least with an OVA, there's a chance they'd make something different (like an After Story of R2). ------- |

R3 ? i would prefer "remake edition from the series" and say "no" for continuation. i think that's much better :) |

I personally think that Lelouch's plan was terrific, he totally fooled me with it... not like Schneizel who I figured out his method to get control of the world XD it was more predictable (and after it... even too simple for a genius like himself). In the end, all the roads lead you to Rome XDD (as in Lelouch and Suzaku finally understood they were looking for the exact same thing, and were united). with the OVA and movie discussion, I go for an OVA too, maybe it opens the doors of a third and unique season XDDD |

Lol, I think its best for the anime to end - I don't think there should be any more rebellions. The world is united and everyone is helping each other, fine...happy ending. Lelouch should stay in the outer worlds, not that I don't want him to come back - but personally I think his fight is over. Suzaku should be able to handle Zero's tasks with Nunally. ^^
And I thought I've already 'abide' by the rules of signature.

Though I question the validity of Suzaku's Geass. If Lelouch is dead, will the geass still be active? >_> |

If you watched the last episode, right when Suzaku slayed him, Lelouch whispered in his ear of the new Geass he will have to live with. Here, I took some quick snapshots of it: If you mean the one that was actually casted upon him with his actual Geass, to "live on", I doubt it would matter since the world is at peace and nobody would really force that Geass to activate in Suzaku. ------- |

Wasn't that scene referring 'geass' to a wish, as to the previous conversation they had about geass being like a wish? |

Yes, these two scenes are different however. The conversation between Lelouch and Suzaku was about Zero Requiem. Lelouch told Suzaku about Geass being like people's wishes. Those who can't achieve something on their own, accomplish something by themselves, they wish for it. Kind of like how the casters of Geass, casted Geass onto people to get what they wanted from them. That scene above with the snapshots I took is when Lelouch "casted" his last Geass onto Suzaku/Zero. Not by using the actual Geass, it's kind of like requesting Suzaku to replace Lelouch (as Zero) in life (since the name of Suzaku is dead). Lelouch wished for one thing, a world of peace. The scene where C.C. is at a church talking about Lelouch's fate with Geass probably proves how big a wish Lelouch wished for. Though we know that at the cost of his own life, his wish came true. I believe that is Zero Requiem. ------- |

I cried at the ending, (I only do that for things I really love.) It gives a good resolution that Nunnally figured it out and Lelouch, who acted selfish and corrupt in varying degrees along the entire series, did the most selfless act for the betterment of the world. Also, I found this which gives an interesting theory of the ending.
