@GMeis the golden age? basically its the time before "CHAT" was created and every thread is an innovation of its own, designed to entertain and delight the users of the forums...and the forums were at its peak in terms of posts and popularity 463 to go for 10k!hahaha |

Thanks for the update Zpart and Inx. I have been around for a while but I just joined the forums like half a year ago. I did check the forums back then, but didn't really notice. I must be slow. :p Currently: 608 Gradually gaining. :) |

Back during the Golden Age, was the prime of the top posters on Gendou.com. It was pretty cool cause you were "categorized" in different RPs you joined in the infamous Gendou City. Gendou City now might be good, not sure since I don't RP anymore, but back then it was fun and innovative, and it was really competitive, too. Even if the forums are at least "revived" a little bit, nothing can ever bring back the Golden Age Era, because the old threads have been recored in history and the members in those threads, are gone. :/ Though knowing user from that period such as myself, we've all changed a huge way since then. :P Also people would talk a lot and make it more entertaining, unlike users now who just post and say it's "cool" or something simple like that. :O [@Zpart] You're on your way buddy. You'll probably surpass me under my nose in a few months.

but DA, I think what was the final blow to kill the forums was the chat when I first came into gendou forums I was not on RP's, now I try to do it more and more ^^. Maybe I can't write great stories but i do my best to not post only a "cool" XD Gendou should close the chat for a week and see what happens hahaha I'm currently in my 6300 posts yay!! what i remeber a lot was the Critics bar wich was very cool and fun. good days that will never return |

I think during the time when I became active in forums, chat already existed... can't really recall... But I do recall a good number of people posting in Share your Karaoke and Karaoke Club (the only 2 places I posted then... guess thats y though I'm in here for more than 1 year I'm still at this sad amount of posts) when I first came in. Alot of them now rarely come into forums... Shinta, Mizuki, Rei, Hikari, Suzuku, Kali (I really am worried for her cause she just 1 day suddenly disappeared) and many more... *sob sob* Well, I guess I'm not one of those who post "cool!"... *stares at the long post I've already written* Currently @ 1593... not much progress yet... ganbatte masu~ |
