Pretty: bonito, preciosa, hermosa, pame XD let me see if i'm able to explain... speak and talk: is, Hablar say and tell: is, Decir the diference?? probabli the same diference in english... but if you ask me the diference between speak and talk... i really can't say X_X   |

DN is right...speak, say, tell have basically the same meaning in English but they are use in different context. In Spanish we have hablar, decir. For example if "I say": Por ejemplo si digo. In this case say mean decir, and it's variable is digo because of the present tense. I'm telling you: Te estoy diciendo. I'm talking in the phone: Estoy hablando. Same with speaking which means Hablar. So Speak, and talk: Hablar Tell, say: decir I hope I explained it right! |

Hehehe Kiseno! *pat pat The verb to "be" in spanish means: ser, estar. So all its variations mean the same like is, are and am. When you say I am French, means Soy Frances-which comes from ser, because you "are" french. It is a state of being, which is "ser" Now when you say I'm fine, mean Estoy bien-which comes from estar. It is a state of stating the way you feel and that's why you use estar. You can't say Estoy Frances because it's not the right verb in the context. I really hope I helped you! *Huugs |

Wow! Pame-chan si se la juega de profe!! estoy cansado, aun ni se que voy a cantar para semis porque he tenido que limpiar mi casa para mi fiesta de cumpleaños, asi que estoy como muerto...Creo que voy a usar el "ensayo y error" de nuevo...XD!   |

ohh im so jealous of all u brilliant spanish speakers... Mi español es no bien.. my verbs suck the only verb tense I know is present tense like "Samantha works." Samantha trabaja. I can ask some questions, like, "?Dondé esta el baño?" @kiseno: Feliz Cumpleaños is right |
