Katsuomori:: OH!!! Nice drawing there. I did a similar one like, a year ago (lol), but the girls are looking towards each other instead of both of them looking at you... well, "facing" you. Your's has more detail in terms of the shading area then mines, but nice drawing. Y(^_^)Y

Yo everyone! Wassup??? Sorry for the loooooong abscence (again)! I 'm gonna be hellishly busy for the next few weeks so enjoy this teensy little pic I drew during Government class! I folded the paper in half so that my teacher wouldn't notice me drawing, heh heh heh. These are my friends and my teacher (2nd from the top) drawn without them knowing it.  I added a fancy twist to this one,nice anime-lovey-dovey orb background. Also the letters are nice.  This one's a sadder pic,I made while eating cold sesame noodles,I have to love that peanut butter-ish sauce. I was actually happy when I made this one,which is odd,my emotions work backwards. @ pappy very cute drawings of Shinku & Eva-chan....i see you do alot of fan-art....is there a character you absolutely love drawing all the time? Who's your fave character to draw is what i mean. @ jov Love the atmosphere on your 2nd pic...the one with the angel....to me it's not a "failing work in progress"....to me it has alot of character...mood...& like i said atmosphere. @ rayuzaki cool pics you have shown us...also i see you're using one of photobuckets new features. Anyways quite alot of originality in character designs...alot of variety from chibis, to semi-life drawings, to looks like sort of comic art....all in all good work! @ megapunk Some very cute pics...i can tell you have tried hard on the pics...with some more practice i can see some potential. Do you draw often or are you just starting out...or is it just a hobby? In any case i hope you decide to post more & improve with every drawing that you do...eventually you'll suprise even yourself. @ Red Again some excellent coloring work....i see you've been sort of interested in the "operating system gals"...personally i like the XP gal...she looks cute. I've seen pics of her wearing glasses &....:L *drool* damn! she looks....*drowning in drool* @ Roq Following in the footsteps of 'Without you' eh? ^^....well you beat me on this front....my drawing ability with "life-drawing" has diminished over the years. I struggle nowadays when i try to draw real people. But you i see are still very good at it! *no worries about not able to post as much as before...i've been posting here sparingly as well...there are alot of talented people here posting so i have no doubts that the thread will be fine with out us. just post when you can....* @ Rabbit Heh...glad to see you so eager to see what i have in store for you....seeing that post of yours excited made me concentrate on your pic more so than the others i've been working on. Don't worry though those ones can wait a few more days....anyways the pic was finished a few hours ago...been working on it all day. I would say it was decently done...could've used some more detail & work but i do hope you still like it. To be honest i used a 'reference' pic from a magazine (megami)...the pic was of Saber eating a hamburger...but i changed it to Shana eating your fave. I have to agree with Angelus. So many great drawings!!!! I am too lazy to comment on all of them since I haven't been on for a while but I will try..... @Isumo: great drawing. You added your own creativity to the original. I think it looks great! If you like more realistic drawing, check out my profile. I posted my works there. @Pappy: I love your drawing. Very cute. I think the anatomy is fine. How old was the drawing? @Red: your coloring is always refreshing to the eyes. Great job. @Roq: your drawing looked very good. Keep up the good work. Here is what I came up with today. This is nowhere near as clean as Pappy's drawing. I am too much influenced by my past realistic drawing experience. :( One thing to mention is this drawing was done by pen. I found that drawing with pen disciples me to be careful where to draw because you can't easily erase mistakes.   |

@roq: They are nice sketches but it would have been better to make them bigger and w/ more details. @Roq: very nice portraits of your friends and teacher! ^^ I could hardly read your writing, it was very very blurry on my computer. ^^; I know that Jamal and Ms. Philips (only part I could make out) will luuuuuuurve it almost as much as I do. It makes me laugh that you drew that in government class. I usually draw in Canadian History, Math, Complimentary Courses B, Life Skills, Language Arts and Science XD How I maintain an 80-90% mark, I do not know lol. @GC: How old are you? Hmmmh... I just watched Shakugan no Shana... I understand this whole thing about melon-pans now... XD Anyway, what i mentioned before, a bleach fanart... I made it yesterday and i happen to go to my friend's home today... And yeah, rob the scanner... :D  Sorry if it's big... And excuse the dirty lines, i just can't make clean pencil lines...-_- Anyway, it's another picture i hadn't intended to turn this way... O.o The original drawing is a very simple picture, but i guess you just gotta love photoshop... Anyway, this is the uncolored version. I wanted to color it and make it a wallpaper someday... It's from the cover of Vol. 7, please enjoy my rendition!   Enjoy! Now then, @Megapunk, welcome! Pic 1: What a sweet pic there! It's quite well done actually, and the background is a great touch! Pic 2: Quite good there as well! Backgrounds are one of your strengths and the character has a great style to her. Quite nice! Pic 3: lol This one's very very well done! Not a bad effort at all with Akito! Pic 4: The punk quality is very cool, and I love the graffiti on the back too! The coloring job is also pretty well done and consistent! Very cool! Please post more! @Izumo, hey man!!! I caught the realistic art bug a week or two ago, but I like to switch styles up whenver I can too. @Eureka: I am truly flattered by your comments and I will give it some thought. :) @Roq: I really like your style. There is nothing wrong copying other people style but I think uniqueness and individuality is what brings people to the manga/anime world. It is always good to develop your own style. I always like drawing that has punches and yours got it. The thick lines really defines the character. Good job. Here is my very first photoshoped drawing (not complete yet) and I am eager to get some feedback for you folks.  |
