Regretably Im going to say (....I cant believe im saying something good regarding this anime) the Scythe on Chain is the coolest weapon I have seen, but the downside is that I saw a good version of it in Inu-yasha

its no anime weapon but Cloud's new Buster Sword was quite a good concept

But the mystical "Hammer" of anime is my best "weapon" (i mean... it just shows up without notice... lol)

My favorite weapon would be Sanosuke's zanbatou from Rurouni Kenshin.

I also like Vash's pistol, and Gene's caster (from Outlaw Star)

My favorite mecha: Van's guymelef Escaflowne

I agree with Rufus, definitely Cloud's Buster Sword in FF7: Advent Children. It can divide up into 2 smaller swords or combine into the BIG Buster Sword.
