| There's nothing wrong with the uniforms in japan. They actually look pretty comfy, nice to wear. No need to worry about such hassle looking for clothes to look good. |

| I think that the most interesting part about the Japanese school uniforms, are how there are different colors/types of sailor suit/styles for every different school within Japan. I love also how some of the students know where each student attends for school just by looking about the uniform he/she wears. Of course, I think that the uniforms worn by the guys are just totally hot. With the high collar and buttoned up...I love also the deep navy color... |

i like the uniforms that japanese people wear. it's so unique and nice looking. it's also cool that they have two different styles of uniforms (one when it's hot and one when it's cold). but for me i like to change my outfit a lot, so wearing a uniform wouldn't suit me. OMG! my japanese class got a video from our penpals in japan and the guys look sooooooooooooo hot in their uniforms! and the girls were making origami in front of the camera, haha!

| I wish I had a uniform... Personally I'm a fan of blazer type of uniforms, not quite fond of sailor suits (I guess you can say I got tired at looking at them after Sailor Moon, lol) I remember some people would even apply for schools cuz their uniform was cute. (^^) |

I studied abroad in Japan for a certain part of my senior year of high school. In some ways, uniforms have their advantages. Like you don't have to hesitate with what you want to wear. I was kind of like that in high school so wearing a uniform didn't make me worry about that. But keep in mind they are SUPER expensive. However, some schools are really strict. Some may not allow you to have piercings or wear loose socks. I have seen schools that are uber strict like they don't allow their students to go out and karaoke. Too bad the school I went to didn't have the bloomers for PE uniforms for the girls. I remember ever since I played Street Fighter Zero 2 when I was 11, it began my interest in the Japanese school girl culture.

| You're forgetting that Catholic School Girls also have a very similar uniform. Except they generally go for a plaid skirt. They're pretty hot too, I went to highschool next to a Catholic school, in Canada though. |

Whenever I watch anime girls in their uniform, i wish my school have the same uniform too. It looks artistic to me. My school would tell us to wear our uniforms inches below the knee. It's like "duh", were in the tropical zone and we should show more skin not wear something you could interpret as: uh, it's so cold in here!    |
