@Jon: She must have been one awesome NPC then lol.

@Shuy: There's not really an easy way to say which characters you dont like xD

@Yuna: I agree with you with the lance weapons. I've always been more of a twin blade person myself which leads to me liking zidane somewhat.

Overall though I personally love lightning's Blazefire Saber is my all time favorite. The concept of it changing from a gun to a sword has its pro's and cons but in a way it's better than squall and seifer's gunblades

@Yuna I agree with Shuy and I prefer the whole blade experience just because well I don't really have a reason :/

@Everyone I think a banner for people's signatures is a great idea everyone should cone up with something and we should have a vote :D

I don't like :/ maybe just Zell VIII just he annoys me :/

@Jon —
I wasn't really looking at Dissidia as being a game when comparing the characters,
but more like it's not a game and you just base things off what the characters are
capable of.

But yeah, a lot of it depends on who you prefer, which is what's fun about it.

As for confidence, I do the same thing with my work. There are a few times when I
do something that I really like and I'm happy to say it, but most of the time I
always feel like something is lacking when compared to other works.

@Zaku —
There aren't many I don't like, rofl.

@All —
Didn't think about Twin Blades. Im gonna throw that under my love of swords, since
in most cases I love Twin Blades despite how something like that wouldn't be
practical in the real world. It's one of my favorite style weapons in games or
anime/manga/books.

Finally off for the summer :D phew exams are tough...

I haven't wrote here in a while so I decided to make another question :D

@ Everyone who do you thing is the most evil villain of all the FF series ?

I think that sephiroth is an example of a completely sycho villain but when you see that he was a good guy and then turned bad it kind of makes you wonder if he is pure evil... Other than that I think he did the most destruction (I don't want to spoil it on anyone who hasn't palyed it yet so I won't say what I'm most mad at him for :D )

Oh! Also what's everyone's plans for the summer??

@Watashi : Most evil Villain? I'm going to have to go with Kuja from FFIX. He nearly wiped out every single country on Gaia and did behind the scenes at that. Some people would go with Kefka from FFVI but since I've never played I have no real opinion of him.

I have no real exciting plans for the summer :/

FF13 - part 2 comments?

The principal setting of the game will be different from the original game but the original game's world will still be in the game. The game's battle system will be a further evolution of the "Command Synergy Battle" (CSB) and Paradigm Shift systems first used in the original game. It will fix and address issues and make areas that were already considered good even better.[8] There will be a feature that allows the player to control the difficulty of battles. During battles, players will be put through QTEs called "Cinematic Action" which will allow them to deal higher damage to foes and gain the upper hand in certain battles. Further more, you can tame monsters and have them in your party for fights. Also in battle there is a "Feral Link" that is similar to the Gestalt gauge in the original. As you attack the Feral link fills up and when it's at max, you can command your current tamed monster to perform a devastating attack that requires you pressing commands at certain times, rapidly tapping a button, etc.

The release date in Japan is December 2011, America and Europe in early 2012!!

Thoughts on purchasing the game?

@Watashi: I saw the trailer and honestly I wasn't impressed. The fighting style looked like a combination of kingdom hearts, .hack and naruto. Also the cliff hanger excited me a bit I must admit, but what i want to know is. WHERE THE FOOK IS SNOW.

@Zaku : LOL. I enjoyed the music from the trailer, but Noah or Noa -however it was spelled- just seemed a bit random. I wandered where Snow was as well. There was a short novel explaining the aftermath of the Fall of Cocoon. I think Snow and the others went into hiding. Even after what happened, the people of Cocoon still didn't like L'Cie. The only L'Cie they didn't see plastered everywhere was Serah. That's what I think anyway. I'll be getting the game because I've never really skipped a Final Fantasy release -except for XI-

Wow I didnt notice this until just now. Sorry Yuna XD

But regardless of what I already reserved XIII-2 since I am a Square Enix Gamer. I sure hope the game concept isnt like it was in XIII. Also WHY IS SERAH WIELDING A SWORD. SHE'S SO LITTLE XD.

@ Everyone ill update this asap ... I have a question though, which final fantasy series did you play first and how did you discover the games...

My first game in the FF series was Final Fantasy 7 and I discovered the game through my older brother... afterwards I discovered that there was in fact more than 7 all the way to 11 at the time

@Chiny hey welcome :D hehehe my favourite is also FFVII I love everything about it plus I named my cat Cloud

@Watashi - No interest in FFXIII-2 at all, since I very much disliked XIII.

The first FF I ever actually got to play was FFVI. My uncle had the game for the SNES, which he brought with him when he was babysitting. I have him to thank for my current gaming habits, since he was big in to RPG's for a while. I also got my first look at FFVII while visiting him one day.

I'm still hoping to get some details on FFXIV for the PS3. It was a no-show at E3 as far as I could see, so I'm getting kind of worried that it may just wind up being canceled altogether. Despite the negativity surrounding the PC version, I still really want to play the PS3 version. I've always wanted to try an MMORPG with some friends, but my computer can't run most of them and I have no interest in WoW's style or setting.

Also, some news for those of you that have Little Big Planet 2. On July 13th they will be releasing a FFVII costume pack for the game. You get costumes for Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, Aerith and Vincent (Vincent's is only if you buy all the costumes as a bundle I believe).

Edit: Apparently I need to edit the size of the text in my FF Club icon. Too small to read.

@Cheh1: Welcome! say what was your favourite out of the games you completed?

@Jon: Damn I don't play little Big Planet but that sounds cool however I got a Vincent Valentine mod for Minecraft...
Ya the whole mmorpg is cool but if I was to play it I'd join the Japanese server (off the track of final fantasy) have you ever played dothack (.hack) or watched any of the animes I'd love a MMorpg like The World..

If you haven't I suggest reading the manga or at least playing the game however it's for the PS2 but you could download it for the computer.

@watashi: my all time favourite was X until dissidia released~

between IX and VIII, which one do you see a better one?

Re: Final Fantasy CLUB ... ファイナルファンタジー
Link | by on 2011-07-11 10:15:43
@Cheh1: I prefer VIII I just never got into IX but it's still a good game ...

@Everyone: By the way I meant to ask what your favourite quote(s) is from the ff series ... mine is

"You can't change the past, you can only change yourself" Ellone... it gives me the chills but in a good way...

AND

"Then, I'll be going now. I'll come back when it's all over" Aeris

AND FINALLY

"Yuna! This is our story. Now let's see this thing through together" Tidus
