Here's a sample of her new song Masterpiece the 2nd opening song for To Aru no Index. First impressions. Sounds a little different from her usual songs...maybe it is the arrangement of the guitar & synthesizer work. Also the warping of her voice in the beginning takes some getting use to. The same thing occured with Kotoko doing the 2nd opening for Shana 2. I just wish they don't warp their voices cause they sound great without it. Have to listen to the full version for my final verdict. So far 7/10.  |

| I not really a big fan of Mami Kawada but her voice is good and probably the best j-rock singer. I love Joint and Hishoku no Sora the most. Compare with KOTOKO, Mami Kawada's songs more to j-rock and techno. |

actually i take it back.. the warping grows on you and its different to blaze by kotoko so yeah it sounds pretty good =D Jellyfish is good too =D |

Jellyfish is the continuous part of MASTERPIECE if you listened to them both together by putting Masterpiece first,and later Jellyfish you can find out that they are actually a link songs together  they have the common composition.. both have an initial sounds of those (effect) &hearts the songs more..ORICORN CHART   12th ~

I remember watching some episodes of Shakugan no Shana and I actually found the songs that Mami Kawada sings as really good. As for that song from the StrikerS Sound Stage X Drama CD...when I first heard it...it sort of reminded me of Subaru and Teana. That song gave me that type of feeling. |

I'm a little disappointed that she hasn't done anything for ero-games for a long time. Her last song was for a game in 2007 called 'Soshite Asu no Sekai Yori' from a company called Etude. She did both the Op/End songs called 'For our Days' & 'Return to that Place'. I don't want to think that all this noteriety she has been recieving made her forget about her roots. |

So this is for Kawada Mami or KOTOKO? (sorry if this sounds stupid, I just read some of the entiries. Kawada Mami is very talented, I listened to masterpiece a few days ago and it was so good! The first time I heard her was in Shakugan no Shana. |

i think she's a singer o.o i don't think she is a seiyuu but it would be fun if she is a seiyuu :3~~ her voice is so sweet xD
