Re: Claymore

There are a lot of people who have read all of the manga up to chapter 73 consider Clare as Teresa lite. She does learn several skills later on that does differentiate her from Teresa and she does combine those skills with the one she jus displayed. |

D-Ninja told me about it and I've read some things on it. I am looking forward to it. I just have to get on downloading it, haha I've been way to lazy :D

Just out of curiosity.. for those reading the manga, what language is the manga in? And does the manga detail how the Claymores actually decide their ranks? Do they fight each other? I'm guessing it's not based on seniority since Priscilla (the awakened who killed Teresa) was No 2 not long after she joined. Or do the 'superiors' decide? The whole 'organization' thing reminds me of Black Cat.. except each member of Chronos had their own unique weapons.. Clare is shaping up to be a junior Teresa.. Teresa didn't have any outstanding skills (or did she?).. the one thing that made her so powerful was her unmatched ability to sense Yoki.. not really sure what it does though.. i guess it means she could sense which part of the yoma's (or claymore's) body was being imbued with yoki so she could predict where the next attack was coming from. It's almost as good as being able to read your opponent's mind XD Edit: Ep 11 subbed is out~! Happy downloading XD |

@square yeah.. it was sad when Teresa died.. somehow I saw that coming, it was just the way it happened that surprised me. She let her guard down, and felt pity towards the young Priscilla.. but sad moments like these are what makes animes (or for that matter, any movie) memorable, no? Just finished watching ep11~! I shall not give anything away.. just that there's no yoma killing in this episode, but somehow.. this episode gave me so much satisfaction after watching it XD Many things are explained.. and the introduction of numbers 1-5.. sugoi~! I must say.. the music in Claymore is superb.. it reminds me of the old Indiana Jones movies XD I've fallen for Clare.. she hardly shows any emotions.. XD she doesn't even look at her colleagues when they are talking to her..lolz~! |

yeah.. can't argue about that.. even though she still has that stone face on when she speaks to Raki.. XD You could see that she cares for Raki when she playfully punched him for worrying about her safety (Ep9). But still... gotta love that expressionless face of hers XD Is Raki developing Onee-chan complex? XD |

Maybe, but I doubt they'll become some lover couple. I'd say somewhere around that, yes. "Family". :D ------- |

uhuh uhuh.. i can't see them being a couple.. it'd be too weird.. but brother and sister.. yeah.. yikes~! in the next ep (12) Clare will meet Ophelia.. no4.. a fren told me something that is going to happen to Clare.. most of you who have read the manga would know XD It involves Raki as well.. I guess the correct word to use is 're-attachment'? |
Re: Claymore

26 epsisodes.. i guess that's about right.. most animes are either 13 or 26 epsisodes these days.. probably to fit it into dvds i guess. Some longer ones like GS/GSD and Blood+ go up to 51 or so episodes, but then again, what is quantity without quality? err.. not to say GS/GSD and blood+ are not good, just examples. I actually enjoyed watching them. Let' see.. Suzumiya Haruhi had only 14 episodes, (and shown in random order too~!) but i throughly enjoyed it. On the other hand.. i painfully watched all 51 episodes of Groove Adventure Rave (more bad than good..). I wouldn't recommend that to any of my frens. hora~! I seemed to have veered off topic a bit XD I wonder how Claymore will end. As usual, the manga will probably continue on after the anime is finished. Anor.. For those who have read the manga.. no spoilers please~! Or.. use spoiler tags if you are posting something that is possibly a spoiler XD Domo arigatou gozaimasu~! |

Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu had 14 episodes, and three different orders in which you could've watched it in... or four if you count the random order for yourself. According to Wiki, it says Claymore still has 11+ ongoing episodes, so who knows if it's just 26 episodes or not. The Manga (volume) is the same as well. ------- |
