pppppfffffffffffffft larc en ciel is japanese and its name is french, so why not make a band have a japanese name with no japanese ppl in it? XD edit: YAYNESS i dled nagareboshi :3  |

By saying that, I said that there were no Japanese people in the band, meaning, there are NONE so far I believe. I already said L'Arc~en~Ciel was Japanese, but the name was french...

@DA: its just either GenRock or TAB...but maybe just put GenRock. ^^ Oh and about that post Michi did, it was just part of brainstorming, and it doesn't mean all singers sing at the same time, they probably would change once in a while, or depends on the song.. (male or female type of vocals)..and for back-up purposes if the others are inactive. And for the arrangement, all we need are devoted and loyal band members for that..later. Hmm..and we do need sample music mp3s from those who are gonna play or sing.. except of course for Pame and the others who already posted songs. At least I think that's what Michi proposed. XD @FA: ROFL! Rated G....wahahahaha... XD Hmm...so any language is fine with you guys?    |

yeah sory Dangel i ddint read yer post then x_x anyhow.. yeah, i geuss english japanese french and spanish is fine with me... japanese is rather more difficult but i canr ead romanji and im getting into the phonetics (too much anime/j-pop xD) so if i get the thing in romanji there would be no prob... i guess? x_x anyhow not even the name is decided yet (: |

Er, as of now, I think an "english" title would be best for now. Though, people are still talking about the "type" of language the title should be, instead of listing some possible nominations. Oh, and GenROCK has been added since yesterday I think. I want to hear a band title from Michiyo herself. That might give people uber ideas. :P

luvi:: :D Oh, and soon after the [official] band names been decided, people who want to be in this band, should start getting ready to post some stuff in the karaoke thread. We'll decide on positions, how many people are gonna be in the band first of, etc. But for now, just think of names, please...

Anyways, yeah, I guess people can plan ahead for a bit, but what's going on now is now. I don't want so many people to get involved with the "audio" part yet, because it'll only make it harder to leave people out. I doubt we're having some 20+ member band here.

yeah thats true... u could post a new thread in the Music section for the auditions for the band... i can be in charge of opening and posting the rules for the thread, just for the burocratic part, and anyone would be able to audition... this would be done after the name has been decided of course... just a suggestion, to share some fo your weight take it r leave it :) |

I don't think that would be as great as you're thinking because once the members have been chosen, the thread will be dead since it was only a "try out" thread to get into the band. I doubt posts will be over 200 unless spamming's involved. I think people should just put their stuff on the karaoke thread or here even...

yeah well... what you say is true... again, but you know, putting the try outs on the karaoke thread would be problematic for the ones that would be "judges" or whatever, and anyways, what is the problem with a dead thread? we make the thread, exploit it to its maximum and then close auditions, or when teh auditions are done, delete the thread maybe? i dont know the mechanics of the forum so i thought making an "auditions" thread would be something that could make a better organisation of the project |

Well, I'll give members until Friday or Saturday night, not sure. Although, I won't pay attention to complaining or accept late nominations by those days, because I'm still [hardly] waiting for members to post more ideas "NOW!"
