@Maiku - I wouldn't mind a match or two, even though I'm kind of crap at fighting games. I honestly don't even know why I buy SC games. I finished up with Soul Cal V a while ago. It was good, but I really wish that they had more singleplayer stuff to do. SC3 is still my favorite in that regard (and I'm probably going to go replay that game in the near future). I will say one thing however. Despite the fact that I don't like the Assassin's Creed games, I will say that the inclusion of Ezio as a guest fighter in this game was a great move. He's fun to play as, fits the time period of the SC games (unlike freaking Darth Vader and Yoda in SCIV) and he's a good fighter overall. It's just disappointing that he makes no contribution to the story whatsoever. I at least expected him to appear in the story mode. Other than that, I'm still playing Sengoku Basara with my friend on Saturday's. I have to get back to Dead Island with him tomorrow, because it has been a few weeks since we played (I kind of shut myself down for 2 weeks due to a problem at home. Was not in the mood for social contact. >.>). I Platinum'd Fist of the North Star, just for the hell of it. Finished Star Ocean: Second Evolution. Good game, although I hated how the game continuously shoves the ClaudeXReina relationship down your throat, especially since I didn't want that relationship. It just seems so out of place when the game keeps making a point to ship those characters together, only for the endgame to roll around and see Claude and Opera hook up (which is the ending that I wanted along). It just makes Claude look like he's leading Reina on. I know that they have done that kind of thing in the other games that let you decide the ending, but in this one it just seems like the game was pushing a certain pairing way too hard. I had started on Radiant Historia, and was enjoying it, but a copy of Pokemon Emerald showed up at the store for $4.99 the same weekend I started playing RH. Emerald was the only game in the main series that I hadn't played, so I had to start on that instead. I'm about 8 hours into Emerald now and heading on to my 4th badge. Also, I'm probably going to be cancelling my Resident Evil Operation: Raccoon City pre-order. The game sounds like it's going to have a really short co-op/singleplayer campaign, so it's not worth me and my friend wasting $70 each just for a 6 mission long campaign mode. I'll probably switch the pre-order to Armored Core V instead, which is supposed to be out on the same day.    |

@Jon Maybe we'll get some matches in this weekend. I had started Radiant Historia too a few months back, though I haven't played much of it (I forget what came out at the time that pulled me away from it). I'm still debating on getting the Vita, and with it (when they're all available) Lumines, Sound Shapes, and Gravity Rush. I'll probably get it further down the road since the Wii U is coming out this year, but I've got a friend who's getting it who really wants someone else to own it for multiplayer stuff. I just wish E3 would hurry up so I have a better idea of how much I can spend this half of the year so that I can still buy everything this fall. Maybe tomorrow's Nintendo Direct will give me some insight into their plans for the year.  |

@Maiku Yo the Kages are looking pretty sweet, Mei and that smaller guy (forget his name) looks fun! One thing I'm disappointed though since they changed a few characters moves Pain is still the exact same. I wish they added maybe another Pain (one with/without six paths). The Pain where he summons that giant Chibaku Tensei. I mean even in the boss fight he's throwing rocks at you while you're playing as the six tails, but his awakening is just some blitz-mode which is sort of lame and not exciting. Pain is one of my favorite characters in the series! Badass villain. It seems they're not adding my request of ANBU Itachi but it seems his older Tsukiyomi version will be in. Masked Man (older Tobi) is also in and his Ultimate is badass if you've seen it! I also saw that Kabutomaru is also in, wonder if Zetsu will be involved at all, but CC2 also stated that they haven't revealed all the characters yet even though about 75 are already confirmed. If ANBU Itachi is in this game or the current Rinnegan Tobi I'll run naked around my neighborhood... ^_^;;

Skipping on the Vita for now, instead getting SSX. The demo is freaking insane! Has anyone else tried it? I've probably played it for at least 5 hours by now. Can't get enough of it. I'm looking forward to it being shipped to me next weekend. Pokemon announcement tomorrow better be a main game entry for the 3DS, or at least a Trozei or Mystery Dungeon sequel (also for the 3DS). |

It hasn't been "confirmed" from CC2, they're sorta being trolls right now. If anything, they'd only add 3 support characters cause the final character selection screen has three random spots missing. I'm disappointed they added Haku and Zabuza cause "fans have been wanting it for years" but not make the Sound 4 playable? Glad Kimimaro is back though.

Yeah I'd rather play as the Sound 4. I just never really liked haku or zabuza as much as a lot of people seem to. I hope the game has a really substantial campaign. The single player was one of my favorite parts of the previous NUNS games. Fifa Street demo comes out this week. I kind of want it to blow me away like the SSX demo, but at the same time, I don't want to buy another game lol |

Not really a fan of them either, however Haku might be a character who I can main in NSGen, his moveset is wicked sick. The story mode/single player is going to be really lengthy since they're basically covering Storm 1 AND Storm 2, Part 1 all the way to the 4th Ninja War though not sure how deep. However from my guess, since Kabutomaru is in the game with Edo Tensei as his ultimate jutsu, I can imagine it goes maybe a bit early then maybe stops. Storm 2 sort of had a final ending in terms of a final boss to fight and you could then run around doing meaningless quests. CC2 also said they've limited that part of the story mode part of the game a bit so you can get into fights a bit more though I hope nothing's rushed. From my first look at NSGen a while back I thought it'd be a copy of Storm 2 with not many significant changes a game should have when releasing another game within the same series. So far they've changed some characters movesets however characters like Jiraiya and Pain seem to have the same combos, the game still has similar graphics, not much I can say more until I play it. Storm 2's story was much improved so I doubt the story mode will be any lacking, I just hope you don't fly through everything right away but I'm glad there's so much content in this game now and many characters, cause I'm sure they're saving the goods for Storm 3 in the future! Not sure who the DLC characters might be if there are any, who would you imagine they would be? Rinnegan Tobi? ANBU Itachi? lol 7-8 year old Itachi who graduates from the Ninja Academy? XD I added in my pre-order so I'll get it on Tuesday when the game comes out. Post more in the NSGen thread I made!!

well depending if i wanna get RE: O.RC just for that thin silver case and other goodies i might reserve it a week early since i already gotten Tales of Grace F reserved and paid fully.In case ya already saw the PSN looks like the games on PSN are going on sale on March 6 depending which votes have won I'll be happy to get AC:Brotherhood on sale :D and a few goodies as well. @DA they finally release the demo for NSGen and good thing is that we can now select if we wanna have our ears bleed in English or stick with Japanese Voice

@JC I thought Racoon City wasn't coming out until like November? Maybe I'm getting confused with another later title. You're gonna buy Brotherhood even though you're playing it now? And yeah the NSGen demo came out like last week lol and yeah I played it nothing different from the Japanese version though I wish they could've gave us Ay too like in the special con demos they had in Japan. You should pre-order NSGen so we can play each other online like the first week! XD Though of course I'll beat the game first then start playing online but if you want early matches online lets play. I seriously hope they fixed online since they're adding tournaments and whatnot, though I shouldn't lag anymore on my part since I have better internet now then when I had Storm 2. I'm curious about the survivor mode though I'm trying not to really watch anymore videos of the game itself. I get it within two weeks anyways so I'm excited. Seems the OST and Killer Bee's single, I still don't know if that's for all pre-orders or just Japan only cause Europe has their special pre-order limited card set but US so far has nothing special than a friggin' card... :(

@DA yea it's Resident Evil 6 that your thinking of and yes although it doesn't really belong to me but i wouldn't mind getting a good deal IF it does become one of the winner and playing muti with other friends in case we wanna get that Trophy Role Model and Abstergo Employye of the Month i tell you it's really hard and i thought i gotten all the bouns for Role Model but i guessed wrong then i looked it up and this is only possible with private servers which will require people who have time and know what to do although communications might prove difficult cus we might not know who needs what now. hmm...and i thought it DID come with the soundtrack =/ man they should of stick with THAT instead of the freaking cards

@JC Hmm I'll have to check that out then to see what they have good up. PSN is usually lacking anyways. :( I hate the online trophies for Brotherhood, AC2 had none so you could've platted it easily if you found all the flags. Finding all of them is MUCH easier in AC:B though because of online trophies the plat is a bit harder to get. I'm personally not a fan of the online anymore, I think it was a good idea for Brotherhood but it's getting way too repetitive. I'm sure they'll add it in AC3 as well without much change, but AC is notoriously known for their single-player so regardless of online I love AC. I can't find any source that says the game comes with the actual soundtrack though I can find it online a well no biggie. The whole card thing is stupid because if it gives people early access help with online then it'll probably be released as DLC (free or not). I'm not sure what the cards actually help you with, my guess is that they give you items that you use in battle which in Storm 2 you had to unlock via points or whatever. I read somewhere gamestop.com's pre-order had a Naruto figurine but when I checked it was just another card offer. Lame. I'm glad the 1st/2nd Hokage aren't some pre-order bonus though and since the game came out already in Japan, you unlock them in the game (probably one of the later characters you unlock). Still no word on any DLC though if there aren't, then CC2 successfully trolled us all and those missing spots are stupid. At least until the game comes out in Europe after NA release, I doubt any DLC will be announced until then for fairness, though yeah, I'm upset NA gets no special pre-order bonuses or limited edition game versions like Europe does. Europe if I remember correctly also got Storm 2 before NA and Japan did so NA deserves something special at least instead of some most likely useless card. At least it's physical... :/ Btw I'm not sure about it now, but I'm pretty much done playing BF3 though I'm only saying this after a few annoying games. DICE still doesn't want to release updates on the console while PC constantly gets them, people constantly suck I swear the worst community for an online game in a while. I played this game where this guy stole my AA while I was repairing it and then he just camps in the back while the enemy moves forward. He eventually left and I took it [BACK] and we won the game within a few minutes... The game before that this n00b camps in the Metro tunnel after moving past the first wave, I give him a little message calling him a camping little p#ssy and he replies "yes. don't hate on a good strategy", well f#ck you @sshole. This happens all the time while I'm playing BF3, though maybe I should just give up on Rush and play TDM or Conquest. I told myself earlier I'd keep the multiplayer games I'd buy so I really don't want to trade in BF3, I'm just pissed off at the moment. I still have UFC:U3 so I might start a new career or start trying out online (if they fixed the servers) though there are some pretty cheap people online in that game, too. Though there's about two weeks left until NSGen so I'm too anxious, though anyone wanna try the Starhawk beta online with me? I've only played the Capture the flag mode so far, not sure how TDM is on that game or if you can invite people though it was a bit fun when I played a few games. Just message me on PSN or something.

It's been a while since I last posted. I've mostly turned into a lurker these days, sad, but it happens. Good news! I got another PS3, bad news, it's a fatty, not what I wanted, but I make do. Got two games, Catherine and Sonic Generations. Catherine : late, late review, but I have to put my two cents in. This is a really, really good game. I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm on the 5th floor now, I'm going with Katherine as my decision, because honestly, Catherine creeps me the f*** out. As for the stages, some are easy, others are a challenge. Sonic Generations : What can I say about this other than I love the stages. I grew up with both modern and classic Sonic so I'm not playing favorites. The boost system for Sonic is good and irritating. Collecting keys for the boss battles is pretty easy, so I really have no complaints about this game. AC3 - I have seen the trailer for this, and the setting is meh, I can't imagine it being America, sorry. Resident Evil 6 : Seen this trailer for this and went crazy. Chris and Leon in the same game is insane! Leon looks old, but considering it's been a little over 10 years? since the Raccoon City Incident... I'm really curious about the mercenary who travels with Ashley, -I think that's her, I might be wrong- Some are saying that's its a Wesker Clone, while others are saying it's Steve Burnside from RE : Code Veronica. From the trailer it says his blood holds the cure for the T-virus, if you remember Steve was injected with the Veronica Virus before he turned and died, so his body could hold the cure. If you remember the same happened with Jill with the T-Virus, it didn't go away, it remained dormant in her body until Wesker screwed around with it.

lol I hate the fatty PS3s, mines is like that too, I bought it off a friend. If I had a choice I'd buy the slimmer ones though I heard they had issues compared to the fatty, but you gotta love the gloss and touch button functions, plus I feel it's stronger just cause it's... fatter... XD And yeah I didn't play Revelations so I don't know anything past the ending of AC2 (Brotherhood). If AC3 is the final AC, they need to release some crazy collector's edition with every AC together, though I doubt that'll happen since they gave AC1 away for free with AC:R. Also AC2 is almost as cheap as a packet of gum and AC:B is still relatively up there, though irrelevant. I can't give an honest opinion of the previous stated, however I hope Ubisoft isn't ruining the precious AC series, one of the best in the world. Read comments about the graphics, the graphics never looked like those amazing cutscenes and probably never will until PS4 hits. Still judging by the trailer, I just can't see Assassins involved with Mercenaries though only in AC can that makes sense. Plus I hate the Revolutionary War, compared to today, most idiotic tactic of war ever. I doubt I'll get it though however online co-op is a nice feature... a rare feature in ANY damn game... @Yuna Are you planning to get the new Naruto Gen game? I'm curious who from Gendou.com is getting it cause I want to all play together. :)

@DA - Like I mentioned on PSN, I'm not a Naruto fan and not really much of a fighting game fan, so I won't be picking it up unfortunately. I've already got three games lined up over the next two weeks anyway. @Yuna - Glad to see you're finally back. Yeah, the fat ones are kind of a pain from time to time (especially if you need to move it anywhere since they weigh a ton). I sort of miss mine, mainly because I had a cool Valkyria Chronicles decal on it. I will say that I do not miss the smaller hard drive of my old one though. I took a few extra precautions with my new slim. I have until April for the manufacturer's warranty before my PS Protection Plan kicks in and goes for 2 more years. I also got PS+ so that my saved data will be automatically backed up. No way am I going to lose my save data again like I did with my old one. In terms of games, me and my friend have finished Dead Island. It was a worthwhile purchase because we managed to get 39 hours of gameplay out of it from start to finish. That said, I will be trading it in towards Ninja Gaiden 3 CE for a bit of extra trade credit. It simply had way too many issues and glitches to be worth keeping. It was a really frustrating game when it came to crashes and connecting to a friend's game. Yakuza: Dead Souls is out next week, along with Tales of Graces F. I'll be getting both of those, but I'm not sure which one I'll start on first. Probably ToGF. Other than that, I'm back on White Knight Chronicles 2 with my friend. Was able to finally claw my way up to GR 19 and I'm just harvesting some material for Ark Knight weapons and armor. I'm going to have to look into Rebirth soon. |

@DA : Sorry, but I probably won't be purchasing it, but I will be hearing a lot about it because my older brother is such a huge fan of Naruto, -I wish I could get him interested in other animes too- @Jon : Thanks, I'm glad to be back. I've re-downloaded everything and thank God for transferring data from PSP to PS3. I was pretty far in my FF games. I didn't get the warranty for my PS3, something I going to regret, I'm sure. As for new games, Tales of Graces F and Final Fantasy XIII-2 are really the only ones I'm interested in right now, we'll see how the year goes. One other thing I'm curious about this year is E3. I haven't really looked it up, but I hope I'm surprised at they have this year.

Hey guys, been a while! I've been enjoying my 3DS with Kid Icarus, been power training teams of 'mons in Pokemon Black (my friends and I are battling almost every week), and started in on Reckoning. E3 is only like 7 weeks away- can't wait! I'm kind of exhausted of SCV, but my roommate still makes me play it with him. It's cool, since he can't beat my Nightmare ;) What have you guys been up to? |

It certainly has been a while. I've bought a lot of games since I last posted, but have also managed to get through a few of the lengthier ones. I finished Tales of Graces F, including the Lineage and Legacies epilogue, and I'm currently making my way through Chapter 3 of Yakuza: Dead Souls. I also bought Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii, despite the fact that I don't technically own one. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I bought the game with the intention of borrowing a Wii from someone. I may start on that game next before returning to my other games. On the co-op front, me and my friend have been playing Hunted: The Demon's Forge for the past few weekends, but we also have Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon on the shelf (which we only played about 3 hours of in total). There's also Sengoku Basara to go back to, which we have somehow managed to get 30 hours of play time out of and still want to play a bit more. Oh, and I also have Armored Core V, so if anyone else here has it then I'm available to join in on some missions (I'm not very far into the game though, have to get back to it after Yakuza). It's not even worth talking about my handheld collection, because that just continues to grow and I almost never finish games from there. >.> As far as upcoming games go, I have Pokemon Conquest and Lolipop Chainsaw on pre-order. I have yet to pre-order Pokemon Black 2, but I'll have to do that at some point soon (along with Borderlands 2). |
