Mansion|| Morning Hanna wa in her bathroom, she took a hot bath, now she was standing in front of the foggy mirror combing her long black hair. Looking with the corner of her eye the clothes she was about to were. After a few minutes in the bathroom she finally opened the door. Hanna walked towards her room mirror holding the black dress she was wearing. She twirled holding the tip of her dress, as she then stood again in front of the mirror she fixed her hair back. She sighted and walked out, standing in front of her dormitory doors some maids stood in shock as they have never seen in a few years Hanna put on that kind of clothe. She looked embarrassed as she just stated to walk looking down. As foot steps were heard, Kazuma & Ryou looked towards the stairway, as Hanna stood looking down to the side and her face was red. Ummm.. Are we going to have.. breakfast first? As the maids passing by stood in shock looking up at her. ![]() As the maids and lower Knight whispered Is.. is.. is.. ![]() |

RYOU MISAKI Violetta Mansion||Foyer Morning Ryou looked up at Hanna, "Good morni--" He was cut off by the sight he was looking at. "Wow..." Ryou said under his breath, blushing. After a couple seconds, Ryou put his hand behind his head and laughed a little, "Sure, nreakfast sounds good," Ryou said as his stomach rumbled. With that he blushed, and Drakar laughed a little. "Hey! Shut up!" Ryou snapped jokingly. In that time, hanna's expression had not changed, and that made Ryou's smile fade away. 'Well are you coming my Mistress, or do you need help from a proper gentleman?" Ryou said walking away, sticking his tongue out at Drakar as a joke. He reached the top of the stairs with hanna, and his smile once again dropped, "Something's wrong here..." Ryou said, whispering into her ear, "You haven't sent any new Sentries over to the Merging; why is that?" Ryou looked into her eyes.ee if he could find anything, he found nothing. He sighed, then hooked arms with Hanna and led her down the stairs as if that little conversation hadn't happened. He whispered into her ear again, "I need to talk to you about something once we reach the Merging, it's important," |

[Judaica, The Abyss. TIME UNKNOWN] "My Lord." Stolas' clipped voice snapped Kasdeja out of his reverie. "Yes?" The demonic tyrant shifted his body upright, leaning against the back of his throne. His eyes still lingered on the blizzard blowing outside, tracing the paths of the frostwraiths as they twirled and twisted in the wind, crying out to each other with their mournful screeches. According to Halphas, his gambit to distract the Riverhalls had worked well. If he was right, then Ymir would have the time needed to build up his army and help in the invasion of the mortal world. "It appears that Lauviah is dead, My Lord," Halphas cut in. "Apparently, the entity known as 'Gorre' has killed him." At this, Kasdeja leaned forward, almost leaping off his chair. "What? You mean to tell me-?" "Yes, My Lord," Stolas continued. "The Eight Sentries are awake once more." Kasdeja sank into his throne. No, no, no.... not now, not when my plan is coming together... It took him a few seconds to regain his composure, but when he did, he immediately began making up a new plan. "So, the Eight are awake," Kasdeja said. "Anything else I need to know?" "Yes, my Lord," Stolas said. "Apparently, the Riverhalls have been able to tap into their power. Eight of them are already marked by the Sentries." "Then, we must eliminate them," Kasdeja said. "No need to rush, My Lord," Stolas was quick to reassure his master. "According to Halphas, the Sentries are not yet in control of their powers. We still have time." At this, Kasdeja was noticeably relieved. Looks like the Sentries are still off balance. We must use the time to build up our forces and prepare our attack. "And what of Ymir and his cronies?" "Malphas says that they're building up a substantial amount of power. Already, they've got nearly half of the gangs under their leadership, with around twenty percent of the city in their hands, with holdings in mostly the more squalid points of the town," Stolas said, reading the statistics with great relish. "So, do we have enough forces to launch a strike on the hunters?" "Almost," Stolas said. "We are currently working on a way to send reinforcements to their aid. Emperor Glashlavol wishes to put his troops to the test." "Perhaps letting them reinforce Ymir's gangs will be good for them," Kasdeja said. "Indeed." Stolas tilted his head, causing the spectacles perched atop his nose to tilt. "Shall I have them send their troops up? Our rift can accomodate at least three divisions of th-" "Stop, Stolas." Kasdeja's voice was harsh and cold. "Are you telling me that the rift is not fully open yet?" "M-my Lord, the rift is highly unstable and trying to open more th-than one is impossi-" Stolas said, chattering out the words in fear of his lord's anger. "Are you to tell me that all the time you were working on the rift, you were unable to stabilize it?" Kasdeja said, aware of his servant was gripping the sheaf of parchment in fright. I think I'll keep him squirming a little while longer. "My Lord, the rift requires more power to open, something we lack. T-the only source of p-power like that I know is-" "The AIDA." Kasdeja finished the sentence, breaking his facade of rage. "Y-yes," Stolas agreed, gladdened to hear Kasdeja's tone of calm, casual boredom return. Kasdeja sighed. It was no use looking for them: the AIDA were perfectly invisible until the Sentries fully awoke. Better to stall the mortal hunters until such a time. "Ah well," Kasdeja said. "Proceed as usual, Stolas." "E-excuse me?" Stolas was baffled by his master's sudden change of mood. "Send Ymir a message. Arrange us a meeting with Crocell and Glashlavol. In the meantime, have the two emperors send some of his forces to mess with the Riverhalls and any other threats." Kasdeja settled back on his throne, turning his attention back to the raging snowstorm outside. "Well, what are you waiting for? Go." Stolas quickly bowed and went out. |

HINA KAGUYA The Merging||Morning Hina sat around waitig for Ryou and the others to return. She seemed a little uneasy. She felt a strange power that seemed to come from far away. She hoped it wasn't who she thought it was. But little did she know, it was. Kasdeja had awoken. With only Ryou and her fully up to speed with their Sentries, things weren't goign to go over well, especilly since Ryou had trouble controlling Skeith. "Oh...if only you were still alive..." The image of the first Sentry leader popped into her mind. He was the strongest Sentry, in history. Well considering there was only his generation and now Ryou's generation, there arent many Sentries. But he was still super powerful at the least. He looked exactly like Ryou; the resemblance was uncanny. She sat around more, waiting and waiting. She decided to take a nap, to rest up for later that evening when Ryou's harsh training would resume. |

The Merging, Morning Toru arrived at the Merging, wondering what exactly had driven him to come here. It wasn't a particularly famous place. Even so, Toru saw a girl lying asleep in front of the lake. Toru walked over to her, knelt down, and shook her gently to wake her up.

Here's my Sentry Profile. NAME: Dylan Lowell ABILITIES: > Spirit Hawk > Fragarach II > Runescribe > Sentry Mark- Mark of Gorre, the Duality of Self: Allows Dylan to tap into his Mark or summon Gorre, the Fifth Sentry. PATTERN NAME: Mark of the Duality of Self PATTERN: ![]() (Credits for the image to to the .Hack Wiki) (Note: Dylan is not this short.) Dylan uses his Pattern whenever using Gorre would be unnecessary or otherwise detrimental. As it only uses up a small amount of power, it is useful for those occasions when Dylan needs only a slight boost in power to emerge victorious. ABILITIES: > Fragarach II, Mode W/Mode F: In his Pattern form, Dylan can change the element of Fragarach II to either Water or Fire. > Cloudcover/Cometwake: These two swords are blessed with the powers of Water and Fire, respectively. Dylan can switch between the two at any time. > Supernatural Reflexes: Gorre's pattern gives Dylan superior speed and agility, allowing him to leap as high as 30 feet. > Refreshing Aura: Gorre's powers grant Dylan an aura that rapidly heals him and any other allies nearby. > Transcendent Runes: Using Gorre's pattern allows Dylan to directly tap into the power of the Runes, allowing him to heal even the most grievous of wounds and deal damage to foes. Not only that, but Dylan no longer has to call on the Runes by voice: simply thinking of the Rune he wishes to cast allows him to cast it (Quick-cast). OTHER EFFECTS: Dylan's personality changes when he switches to the red pattern: while using it, he talks and acts slightly more feminine than his normal self. ************************ SENTRY NAME: Gorre, the Duality of Self CHARACTER NAME: Dylan Lowell TRANSFORMATION: Dylan's Mark glows a bright blue, and his eyes change color: one eye turns a deep blue, the other turns a bright red. The area around Dylan grows hot and humid, causing the air to shimmer. Dylan then recites the summmoning incantation: as he does so, his voice gains an echo, almost as if a woman was reciting it at the same time. Upon doing so, Dylan begins to shrink, eventually transforming into a blue sprite-like creature. His feet disappear, replaced by a strange mechanical structure that keeps him afloat. APPEARANCE: ![]() (CREDITS: dotHack Wiki, once again) ABILITIES: NOTE: When two abilities are separated by a slash (EX: Ability1/Ability2), the second ability is the Azure (Water) Form's version of the attack and the first is the Crimson (Fire) Form's version. Dylan can switch between the two forms freely, as long as he remains in the form of Gorre. Also, when either the Azure Form or the Crimson Form is defeated, the remaining Form will take over and continue the battle. > Corona Flare/Tsunami Bullet- Gorre attacks with a barrage of fireballs/water spheres. > Inferno Cutters/Whirlpool Blades: Gorre forms two swords made of fire/water. They can be thrown like darts, upon which Gorre makes new ones. > Pyro Guard/Aqua Aegis: Gorre creates several hexagonal shields of flame/water around itself. These shields repel magical and physical projectiles with ease, and can serve as a battering weapon if Gorre decides to dash around the area. > Ignition Wave/Maelstrom Hammer: Gorre summons a wave of fire/water that crashes into all enemies in the vicinity. > Cataclysm Cannon: Both versions of Gorre appear and unite into a giant cannon-like form, which fires a combined blast of water and fire. This ability can only be used if the Sentry manages to achieve perfect unity with the two halves of Gorre's personality. > In Gorre Form, Dylan cannot summon his Spirit Hawk or cast Runes. BACKLASH EFFECT: Overuse of the Avatar Form can cause Dylan to suffer from a wide variety of effects depending on how long he was in Avatar Form, ranging from dehydration to a debilitating fever with chills. OTHER EFFECTS: Just as the Azure Form is the masculine half of this spirit, the Crimson Form is the feminine half. Both Forms becomes small voices in Dylan's head whenever Dylan is not in battle. ************************************** [OOC: @Haseo: How do you intend to use the AIDA? The original AIDAs seem too much like simple viruses, and they're not exactly paired off with their Avatar counterparts. Perhaps an upgrade to Esper-like beings would be more like it? And if so, may I help?] |

Mansion, Dining Hall, Morning Mary can't say anything once she sees the Head Mistress. She looks.... dazzling in that black dress. She looks pretty plain compared to her. There are two things, she thinks, they won't be able to eat upon that stunning thing, or they'd be eating more at that gorgeous sight. She smiles. It is a mildly teasing smile meaning to show Mary's approval of her appearance. "Good morning, Mistress." she said, "Where is Sir Rictus?" |

[Violetta Mansion, Morning] The door of the mansion was slightly ajar. Dylan strode toward it, rubbing his head. Something in his mind told him to go there, and he wondered if the two sprites he saw were part of it. Sighing (and wincing at the pain in his ribs), he walked in. The delicious smell of breakfast wafted through the chamber, stirring up a growl in Dylan's stomach. He remembered not having eaten anything since the fight he had with that demon brat in the dungeon. The thought of food caused his stomach to growl, this time even louder. "But first, I gotta go eat," he muttered. He walked down the halls, coming to a stop in front of a gold-handled door. From behind the door, sounds of idle chatter mixed with an occasional laugh echoed. Pushing it open, he walked in. The first thing he saw was an entire group gathered at the table: Kazuma, Mary, Drakar, that odd fellow called Ryou... and a young woman in an elegant black dress. Wait... who's that girl? She's quite beautiful, Dylan thought. Feels like I've seen her before though. Then he saw the red eyes and the long, black hair. The realization came as a huge shock. That's Miss Hanna? W-whoa. I never thought she could dress like that. Not bad, Madam. Not bad at all. For a moment, he stood there staring in shock, his jaw wide open. Then, he remembered his manners and stood straight up. "G-good morning, Miss Hanna. Uh... what's going on? Is there some sort of... celebration?" |

RYOU MISAKI Violetta Dining Hall||Morning Ryou followed suit, and walked into the room and sat to the right of Hanna, so that Rictus, one of the only people he truly trusted in this mansion, would be sitting across from him. Ryou stuck out like a sore thumb, since his clothes were tattered and ripped a little from all the training and fighting he'd been doing lately. But nontheless, he was there and waiting for Rictus. he didn't fancy formal events like this, so he was laying his head on his hand, drawing circles on the table with his finger. Ryou yawned. He thought to himself, "Could this be any more of a drag?" All they were doing was waiting. Something Ryou didn't like. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HINA KAGUYA The Merging||Morning Hina was awoken and startled. She jumped backwards, doing a backflip, and accidentally kicking Toru in the face. When she landed, she summoned her pattern. "What are you doing here?" She asked in demand. "It's not polite or safe to wake a sleeping demon you know." And it was true. Hina wasn't dangerous unless you were on her bad side. Which was easily achieved. "So stateyour business before I blast your head off." With that, she summoned her bow, and knocked an arrow, pointed directly inbetween Toru's eyes. |

I followed my instinct and came here, but I don't know why." He looked at the arrow. "You have one fierce kick, though," he added, rubbing his chin.

[Violetta Dining Hall: Morning] The two maids accompanied Dylan to his seat, pulling up the chair and getting him a plate. Dylan looked at the dishes before him. In front of him was a platter piled high with bacon and fried eggs. A little further down was a stack of toast, with a dish of butter and a knife sitting next to it. The centerpiece of the set-up was a large ham in the middle, smoking hot and dripping with glaze. Even though he was hungry, Dylan waited for the rest to begin eating. Besides, he had much thinking to do. He wondered how many died in the attack on the previous night, and how many were injured. Yes, casualties were inevitable in their line of work, but he never thought they would hit so close to home. How would the Knights deal with an enemy that was literally at their door? What if the demons decided to attack again that day? And then there were the two sprites who appeared to him. Were they friends or foes? ************************* Meanwhile... [Downtown: Morning] A baseball bat whistled through the air. Ymir ducked, then swung his club at the foe, smashing into the gangster's ribs. The foe doubled over, letting Ymir finish him off with a kick to the head that sent him flying. "So, that makes the second gang we've fought since yesterday? Damn, these posers are crawling out of the floorboards like roaches." Around Ymir stood the rest of his party, all holding a variety of makeshift weapons, from wooden planks to switchblades. Scattered beneath their feet were the members of the Young King gang, nursing broken ribs, battered noses and other injuries. They shouldn't have interfered with my fight, Ymir thought. See what those gimps got for their trouble? A club to the face and a brutal curb-stomp takedown, he bragged to himself. At least Maugrim was a worthy foe. Ymir walked over to one of the gangsters, a particularly brutal-looking wolf-man wearing a torn denim vest that barely covered his furry chest. "So, 'Maugrim the Mauler', thought you could fight the best damn gang in the city and not get your ass kicked in? Boy, this is several levels of low, even for someone like you." Maugrim spat in Ymir's face. "Screw you." Ymir's smirked, then slammed the sole of his boot into the wolf-man's face. "No, screw YOU." He then followed up by stomping on the demon's prone form several times before turning to address the defeated gangsters. "Alright, you witless scumbags, since me and Maugrim here wagered control of this part of town and I won, you guys are under me. My law is the only law we here at Ragnarok live under: follow that, and we'll get along fine." He grinned, showing off a set of wickedly pointed teeth. "Don't worry, you get all the perks of being in Ragnarok: the reputation, the power, the respect and obeisance of the common man when you walk down the street and they see you." He clenched his fists, shaking them at his audience. "Isn't that what we all want? To show the world that we mean business? To strike fear into the hearts of those who spit on us? Here's our chance to do so!" Maugrim had only began to stir when Ymir saw him. "And you." He knelt beside the wolf-man. "I forgive you for your insolence, since I admire your guts. Heck, I'm a nice guy, so I'll let you lead your gang." Lifting him by a tuft of fur, he stared him down, red eyes glaring into feral yellow ones. "But first, you have to swear your allegiance to ME." Maugrim's only response was a snarl. "Come on, Maugrim. Do you want to disappoint your crew by chickening out? I'm just asking for a teeny tiny little vow of allegiance. After that, I'll let you take the helm for this gang, and I'll give you a spot in my elite. Just sign on the dotted line, compadre, and you're in." "I.... will never bow to a monster like you," Maugrim growled. "I have... my honor." "Honor, schmonor," Ymir scoffed. "Who cares about your moralizing? You bet control of this joint: now pony up the goods." "You may have taken control here... but this part of town... follows us." Maugrim grinned. "Whatever you do, you'll... lose to us... in the end." Ymir was growing impatient with the wolf-man's blabber. He lifted up his club and struck Maugrim a blow that knocked him to the ground senseless. "So, does anyone else have any objections to my leadership?" The rest of the gang shook their heads. "Good. Now, let's go." The rest of Ymir's followers turned round and followed the retreating figure of their leader, as the rest of the defeated Young King members followed. One of the gangsters, a bald, pudgy ogre, turned back a moment to look on the battered figure of Maugrim, sprawled unconscious on the pavement. "Sorry, Boss," he mouthed. "We'll come back for you. We promise." |

Mary watches Ryou yawn without covering his mouth. His head is propped on one hand and is tapping his fingers on the table. He has tattered clothes, too. She shifts in her seat and rearranges her hands on her lap. No matter how annoying this waiting is getting, there's no reason to forget your manners. Goodness, I'm almost starving!, Mary thinks. |

Violetta Mansion, Dining Hall Rictus walked through the door to the dining hall, a drowsy smile on his face. "Sorry, guys. I fell asleep in the bath. I smell ham, I think." He looked around. "What, you guys weren't waiting for me, were you? I thought I specifically told Hanna not to wait... Where is she, any- oh!" His eyebrows went up when he spied Hanna at the end of the table. "I feel under-dressed, love. Happy birthday." He walked around the table and gave her a one-armed hug from behind. "I'm never really around for it, am I? Suppose I can't just mail it to you this year. I'll take you shopping later, if that's okay with everyone. Actually," he said, looking at Ryou skeptically, "maybe we should all go out. A normal day sounds pretty good." ================================================================================ Sentry Sheet Rictus feels that using his pattern is a sign of weakness and often refuses to use it unless it's absolutely necessary to save someone else. His pride would let him die before using it to save himself. Pattern Abilities Rend in Reality: Rictus uses his demon energy to open holes to various dimensions. Flight: Rictus is able to jump extraordinarily high, 30 feet with ease. When Rictus's pattern is activated, there is no limit to how many times this ability can be used. Wild Vine: Works much the same way as Blackhole Rose, though Rictus now simply grows an energy whip from the palm of his hand. Rake: Rictus focuses energy into his claws, which he can release into the air as a wave. Call of the Forest: Rictus can control plants and certain animals that are nearby. Demon ![]() Magus is naturally a placid Sentry, known as The Propogation. He serves as a guide and protector to the other Phases, and will willingly throw himself in front of one of the others to protect them. Like Rictus, he is a spirit of nature. Abilities (Only a few are original, but I like Magus in the games. BOTH Maguses. :P) Flight: Actual flight, but I'm fairly certain that all Sentries can do this. Leaf Shield: Magus creates a shield with six leaves, repelling projectiles and damaging anyone that attacks close up. Unforgiving Bud: Magus attaches exploding buds to his target, which explode after about ten seconds. Light of Purity: Magus flies up and fires a shower of energy beams at his opponent. Wild Vine: Works much the same way as Rictus's Blackhole Rose, though Magus simply grows a vine whip from the palm of his hand. Photosynthesis: Magus channels light energy to heal himself and others. Backlash: Paralysis. The longer Rictus has Magus activated, the more severe this condition becomes. Even a minute will leave Rictus stiff and staggering, making moving painful. After five minutes, the paralysis is more pronounced, and Rictus will lose function in his legs first, and the paralysis will spread upward, becoming completely debilitating after ten minutes. Rictus will feel none of this while he is transformed, but it will take effect immediately upon reverting. The general rule is that it takes Rictus three times as long as he is transformed for the effects to wear off. For instance, ten "Magus Minutes" = 30 minutes of recovery time. |
