"DA", lol. Anyways.... (>.>)... they do have a ton of stuff. Exploring will take time since I don't use Adobe as much I should. Until Summer, I'll surely experiment more and more and hopefully create some stuff to release on my own. I will surpass my cousin since he's a professional at Adobe. (+.+) OH! One time in school, since my stupid friend didn't bring in these pictures I needed for a project we're doing, I had nothing else to do but hunt around in the internet (mostly relating to Photoshop) and I found these crazy tips or whatever, when using gradients. They even looked easy to try out, but the result was insane! I don't remember the site and the internet at my school's been having some issues, but I'll try to find it again. XD ------- |

"Cyclone Eye" (Click to enlarge) My father, in an attempt to help me with a Photography assignment, took a picture of his eye with our digital camera (still visible in the "pupil" of the eye. One day I got bored in Photography and just colorized it. For what few things I did, it turned out really well. I basically did it to attempt to figure out colorization to try to use in my sig, but I decided not to. Recently, I've modified my avatar/signature and made Eureka's new sig. (And I still have to do Fidchell....) |

Ah, pretty neat. I've seen a bunch of stuff like this before; one tutorial where someone made an entire face look like a dark night scene with stars, trees, etc. I also saw fans use the Sharingan and add that to their eyes. Some are a bit rushed yet I saw some incredible ones (some in .gif form, too). I've been quite busy lately, so I haven't even opened photoshop to use it a lot. I might try to enter a second sig/avatar to uprise my chances in winning in that contest thread, but I might not create one by the deadline, who knows. XD ------- |

Basically, a layer is like a layered cake. The first layer created will be on the bottom of your screen (like a cake). Below is a small example of how it basically looks: Now below are two [thumbnailed] images of a three layer example I quickly made for you. There are three layers (from bottom up):
Here's another scenario: You're standing with an open umbrella above your head to protect yourself from the rain. The Umbrella is the top layer while you're the bottom layer. Simply switch the layer order. Umbrella underneath and you're on top of the umbrella or standing on it (might break XD), the rain will hit you since the layer (umbrella) is below you. ------- |

I also don't understand layer much and never bother to learn it. But when you wanted to do a good avy/sig and you see yours is just too simple, you wanted to learn how to do layers. Thanks to some place where I stopped by and with some of the users help, I finally able to level up to the level of making animated GIFs! Thx Terror of Death for telling me about the frame sequences. Really help me a lot~! Nyaa! Do DA count as well? I just don't remember. Hahaha~! So rather than static images, I can do animated ones~! But my future challenges would have to be making avatar straight from the anime episodes. But just how? Screencaps?? I'm sure it's screencaps but how one earth did you make screencaps?! How people was able to make lots of screencaps? How?!! Someone teach me, please~!

Actually Layers are not that hard...actually they're so easy I find them REALLY useful when photoshopping tebayo~! ;3 that's what made my avatar/sig go BOOM! @ Kana A simple "Print Screen" and Paste it into a Paint program or whatever will give you screencaps tebayo~ |

Kazuma:: Oi! I love her! Yay! Pretty nice wallpaper, too. I haven't even come around to even start on my own yet. (=.=)' Layers are indeed easy but if you have like 30+ when making animations, it's good to rename them at least unless you're surely aware of what layer is what. Kanayuki::: You can either do what Imppy said and adjust some contrast, color, etc. in Photoshop or you can find some over the net somewhere. They're everywhere, really. XD ------- |

"Lighting Strike: Pen and PS" (Click to enlarge) A drawing that I had the idea for for quite sometime. "A tree, all alone in a field, is struke by lightning during a storm." I draw the basic image on a piece of paper, scanned it, then colored it in Photoshop. This is most likely the only thing I can draw fairly well... |
