[Cave][2:15 AM] "If that's what you really want to do then it's alright with me. Just so you know however, I accept no responsibility for this plan if he ends up as wolf chow." Vincent said to Vivian. Vivian nodded in agreement. "What about you? Think you can manage to walk to the village?" he said as he turned to Aeon. "Of course. I just used magical energy, so I'm a bit tired, but physically I'm just fine." Aeon replied. "So what do we do now?" Noctis asked. Vivian could tell it was Noctis because of his voice. He must have been in there for a little bit, and he could have sneaked in awhile ago, so Vivian did not notice his return. She wasn't suprised, he normally did things his own way without asking others first. "Heading to the village that those Cold Ones used to call home. We need food and someplace to sleep. It may also provide us with somewhere to hide in case we are attacked again, though we may have to leave him here, hes too big to carry, especially in our current state." Aeon said as he motioned to the KO-ed Fenris. "Well we had decided on going in to the village and attempting to rest there, but whether or not we do that now that your back is entirely up to you, Mr. Leader." Vincent had said to Noctis. Vincent was a nice enough guy to Vivian; however she thought that he depended on Noctis just a bit too much for comfort. "Anke's house or the empty village that's probably still littered with dead bodies. Regardless of what choice you make, please just choose quickly, I'm getting very tired, and I seem to be the only one left that can fight at full strength." Noctis said to him. As we were waiting for Noctis to decide (he seemed quite deep in thought), Aeon yawned quite loudly. "I'm going to head into the town to find some food and a place to sleep. I'll be able to find you guys based on those stones that Fenris gave out earlier, so I'll catch up if you choose to go somewhere else. Right now, though, I need to find some place relatively safe to get some rest. Those who want to come with me are free to, I would feel more comfortable with more, anyways." He said. he started to walk away from the cave. Vivian was quite proud of him actually, making a bold move like that. It was something she had wanted to do for quite some time now, but she was too shy to put in her own opinion like that. "I'm afraid I'm going with him... I usually do not act on impulse like this, but I do think we should get to some place safe fast. And the village is supposedly empty, so it seems safe enough... And there would be plenty of supplies there, and a safe spot to sleep until morning comes." She started to walk away behind Aeon. "And like Aeon said, just use the stones Fenris gave us if you need us, and vice-versa." She called out to Noctis, Anke, Vincent, the Anke Clone, and the knocked out Fenris that she had left behind. Vivian and Aeon traveled on, further and further away from the group. "Thanks for doing that, speaking out like that. I had always wanted to do something like that, but usually I am either too shy, or afraid of someone yelling at me and getting mad because of what I said." Vivian said to Aeon when they were out of eyesight of the group they left behind. Vivian thought for a little bit, deciding if she could really trust Aeon with her feelings about what she really thought of the situation they were in. 'Not yet...' she thought. She did not know him well enough; and outside of Anke and Fenris, she did not know many of the people in the group they were in well enough to trust her true feelings with. Let alone her life. But, as she said earlier; it was either stay there and be wolf meat, or go off to some place safe. Anke said her house was out of the uestion, so that only left the village. 'But what if there is some sort of danger in the village?' she thought, 'No, I must stop overthinking myself. I made the right decision.' However, Aeon did not have much magical strength left, which might pose a problem. Vivian was somewhat drained, but she still had some fight left in her. "So, after we spend the night in the town, what should we do next?" She asked him. She was unsure of what they should do after spending the night.  |

[Cave] He waited until the two of them were out of sight before looking to Noctis and Anke. "I guess she's found someone else to tag along with. Looks like I've been dumped." he said jokingly, chuckling a little. Vincent pushed off the wall and started out of the cave to follow Aeon and Vivian. He tapped the clone on the head as he passed by. "Come on then. Let's not get left behind. I may be out of a job as her bodyguard, but it appears as though I still have to get you to the village in one piece."    |

Anke l Outside the Cave Anke sleepily watched as Vivian and Aeon disappeared in the direction of the Village. They planned on using the spirit stones Fanris had given them to communicate. If they found a suitable place to rest for the night. Vincent came over to the clone that was holding her. He tapped the clone on the head as he passed by. "Come on then. Let's not get left behind. I may be out of a job as her bodyguard, but it appears as though I still have to get you to the village in one piece." Anke smiled and nodded her head. "Thanks Vincent. I knew I could trust you." She drifted out of consciousness. (( Thanks for catching that Jon I fixed it.... XD Sorry I see your avatar when posting and I get all mixed up... It doesn't help when one of your best friend's is named Jonathan... lol...))  |

(@Rin - You got a little mixed up with the names there I think. ^^) [Cave] He looked back to Anke as she passed out, then to Noctis. "I hope you like small talk, because it looks like it's just us now." He took another look at Anke. 'I told you not to go trusting people so much, but it looks like you have anyway. I guess that means I have an obligation to make sure that the trust isn't broken. I really don't want to put you through that form of pain.' he thought to himself. He sighed quietly, 'I should have stuck to being a loner.' |

Ooc: sorry if parts sound funny...just finished writing a phil essay. Aeon | Somewhere between the cave and the village Aeon had not gotten far out of the cave when someone caught up to him. He glanced beside him to see who it was. "Vivian?" he thought as he smiled - "didn't expect her to be the first to tag along." After walking in silence for a bit Vivian said "Thanks for doing that, speaking out like that. I had always wanted to do something like that, but usually I am either too shy, or afraid of someone yelling at me and getting mad because of what I said." Aeon stayed silent, he didn't think he did anything special, but it was nice to see his actions were appreciated. Right when he was about to reply, Vivian spoke up again. "So, after we spend the night in the town, what should we do next?" she asked him. "Now that IS good question" Aeon thought. He had not considered what he was going to do after getting some rest, only moving based on the fact that they needed to get someplace safer than that cave. Considering what Anke said about the Cold Ones, he was pretty sure there would be nothing waiting for them in the village, as Cold Ones were supposed to be relentlessly hunting their targets, and not waiting around for them. Because Aeon was in need of rest he had thought up until what they needed to do now, and not so much what was needed to be done later. "I suppose that would depend on a few things" Aeon replied after thinking for a short time. "Those few things being if the others chose to follow us or not. As Anke and Fenris seem to know this area pretty well, they could tell us where we are and where to go to leave this area. However. if they do not follow us we will need to find a map. If we cannot find a map then I think we will be left to wander around for quite some time" Aeon smiled and waited for a short time to see Vivian's reaction of this last comment before continuing. "I think I may head to my family house in the East. I have some pretty reliable information that Alexanderson is the one behind the recent tensions, and based on some of the comments from his subordinate that Vincent and myself encountered earlier, I think things are starting to escalate. By heading back home not only will I have the protection of my family, I shall also have the protection of the country - seeing as how my father is on the council of elders." Aeon sighed before continuing, he hadn't been home in quite some time and was not looking forward to the trip home. "It will allow us to prepare a counter attack appropriately, and there may already be some information on the movements of the west. Of course, this is subject to change based on if the others have different ideas, but as for a plan for right now, I think this is best plan I have." Aeon really felt that they needed to find some place safe. Either find some place safe or get a whole lot stronger in a short period of time. Being constantly persued did not allow them any time to formulate a plan. A plan which they desperately needed. |

"You are absolutely right on all accounts of what we should do," Vivian started out, "I don't know if Anke or Fenris will follow us. Noctis is somewhat of a leader figure to Anke and Vincent, and I think they depend on him just a bit too much. Which is why I choose to leave the group with you. And Fenris... Last I knew he was still knocked out, so I don't know what's going to happen with him. I believe finding some sort of map is our best option. That way, you could go bakc to your family in the East, and I can go... Well, I could go anywhere I want to..." Vivian sighed as well. She did not know if she should go back home to her father and have him teach her the arts of an Illusion Master, or if she should go on a journey to learn it on her own. "Well, it would not matter what I do. I know that the Alexanderson and his pals are after someone of our group of Noctis, Anke, Fenris, Vincent, you and myself. However, I am certain that it is not me who they are after, or they could have gotten me a long time ago." She paused to catch her breath, and then continued. He knew that their persuers were interested in Vincent for sure, and Noctis seemed to be hiding something, maybe he knew something as well. "If we could make it into the town, and then find a road that heads to a city, then that might be our best option. In a city you are always in a crowd of people, and it is harder to pick out someone from the crowd. That's also what I would have advised Noctis and the others to do; if they weren't so bent on Noctis being the king and them being his followers. And then you could go your way to your home. If it is okay with you, could I come to your home as well?" Vivian asked, and Aeon snapped back to the conversation. "Hm, you want to come with me?" he asked, "Sure, I have no problems with that, however, it may not be the warmest welcome home. I haven't been there in 11, no 12 years. Ever since my draining ability went berserk and I was told what happened, I've been travelling to avoid people and find a way to control it" he said stoically. He shook his head, and looked towards the direction they were travelling. "Hm, I think that's the village we want" he said as he pointed towards a group of buildings, some still smouldering from fire. "It looks like some of the village escaped the fire, and if not at least it'll be warm" he joked as he dropped a small rock with a pattern drawn on it behind them. "North" he said quietly to himself as they headed closer to the village. |

[Nearing Village][2:45 AM] "Hm, you want to come with me? Sure, I have no problems with that, however, it may not be the warmest welcome home. I haven't been there in 11, no 12 years. Ever since my draining ability went berserk and I was told what happened, I've been traveling to avoid people and find a way to control it." Aeon replied to her question. They could now see the village, which was in front of them now. Smoke was rising from it, and there were a few small, dying blazes in the snowing winter wonderland in night time. "Hm, I think that's the village we want" he said. He was pointing to a group of buildings that were still on fire. "It looks like some of the village escaped the fire, and if not at least it'll be warm." He said. He dropped a stone on the ground, and he might have said something as well but Vivian could not hear him. "Well, I don't mind a warm village." Vivian said, playing along with his joke, "And as your family goes, I have no problem with them being cold. I just think it is the best idea to go there for now... And you always say that you brought back your girlfriend as well!" She started to laugh a little. "Just kidding." She quickly added, just to make sure he didn't take her too seriously. She looked down at the stone in the snow and then walked forward a little bit, to hurry up Aeon a bit so they could get to the village faster. "What's that for?" She asked him, refering to the stone. |

Aeon | Nearing Village Aeon glanced around at his surroundings as he listened to Vivian talk. Smiling at first when she mentioned introducing her as his girlfriend after a quick though and some consideration, it seemed like a good idea. "Just kidding." She quickly added - after his silent consideration. "Well of course" Aeon thought, "we wouldn't be serious about it, but it would be a good way to avoid questions". "What's that for?" She then asked him, looking at the stone he just dropped. "The start of a barrier of sorts, actually more of an early warning system. With that stone I can place the 3 others I have and create a boundary and it will alert me if anyone crosses it. Although it won't prevent any attacks, we can get away easier because we will know they are coming." After walking a bit further, they reached the edge of the village. "It appears we have arrived" Aeon said. "Should we find some food first or a place to rest?" he asked Vivian, before surveying his surroundings again. |

Anke Anke's eyes opened only moments after passing out. She could feel her ice cold clone moving under her. She looked up at her own emotionless face. Vivian could have at least had the decency to clone Noctis and let his clone carry her. "This is just too weird." She mumbled to Vincent, not really trying to start a conversation, but just to break the silence. "So I'm guessing we're headed for the village." Anke continued, she had been a part of that conversation before she passed out, but she wasn't quite sure how long she had really be out. Though she assumed it was only a matter of minutes. |

Those two made a choice and the group is going to have to follow it now, because the only way we're going to survive this mess is to stick together." He continued to walk in silence for a short while before turning around and walking backwards, he checked on Noctis to see far he was from them. He was indeed following along, but not quite within earshot, so Vincent took the opportunity while he had it. "Listen, now might not be the best time, with you barely conscious and all, but I have to get an answer. How much trust do you have in me exactly? Do you see me as a good friend, a friend, an acquaintance, or simply as someone who fights alongside you?" he said quietly. |

Those two made a choice and the group is going to have to follow it now, because the only way we're going to survive this mess is to stick together." Anke knew that Vincent was right. If this group of fresh graduates were going to hold their own against the well seasoned Knightmares they would need to stick together. Besides Anke never even dreamed of leaving her friends. "Listen, now might not be the best time, with you barely conscious and all, but I have to get an answer. How much trust do you have in me exactly? Do you see me as a good friend, a friend, an acquaintance, or simply as someone who fights alongside you?" Vincent's question took Anke by surprise, but she had been expecting something like this after all... It sounded as if it had been bothering him for a while. Anke bit her bottom lip as she thought about it absently. Her pink eyes wandering over the face of her friend. She deffinatly thought of him as a friend, but had she known him long enough to think of him as a close friend? Not that time mattered, the things they had been though together in only a matter of days were enough to form strong bonds. Anke opened her mouth to reply but shut it again when another though popped into her mind. 'what if he just though of her as someone who fights alongside him. What if the idea that she felt something more, even if it was only friendship, scared him... Well she would leave that to chance. Anke had never been the shy type and resolved that it would be better just to tell the truth, especially when she was already trusting him with her biggest secret. "I see you as a good friend." she replied, she was confident in her answer but her voice was still quiet and filled with meaning and emotion. She continued to face him but her eyes turned out to the snow covered stretch in front of them. She continued to chew on her bottom lip. |

[Forest] He continued to look at her for a moment longer, before turning on his heels and walking forwards again. "I see. Do you remember what I first said to you when this whole mess began? Try to remember that as things go on. It's not that I don't want friends, or lovers, or people I can trust, but having someone who has a lot of trust in me leaves me in a bad place. I'm not saying I will ever betray you all, or that I will be killed, but I can't see in to the future, so either of those things could very well happen. I don't mind the others, I'll always be just some member of the group to them, losing me would only mean that their army has one less tool to use, but you and Vivian are a different matter. Both of you seem to have a measure of faith in me greater than that of the others, which I would rather not break." He stopped speaking for a second, before continuing. "I would prefer not to see those bonds broken, because if and when it happens, it's going to hurt the both of you in a way that spears and swords could never accomplish." He smiled to himself, snapping out of the monologue he had been in. "Of course, I can't speak for the two of you regarding such feelings, especially the little one. She did take off with Aeon after all, so maybe I am just a faceless soldier to her, as opposed to a friend she can rely on. Regardless, that's the reason I never bothered to hang around with any of you during our Academy days. We were being trained for the military, which meant that when all was said and done, they would have us shipped off to die in a war somewhere." |

Forest l Anke Anke cursed herself for telling the truth... sometimes such things should be kept to oneself, no? "Yeah I remember..." she whispered. Thinking back to that first discussion she had with Vincent. "Anyway," she started trying to turn the conversation onto a lighter note. "we are almost to the village... I need to find warmer cloths so why don't we focus on that... rather than these depressing matters." She fell silent for a moment, "not that they aren't important, but maybe we should take our mind off them for a while." "It wouldn't be too terrible to find some rum in town either. It keeps your body warm and lifts your spirits... If you can take the alcohol that is1" She turned to Vincent and gave him a big smile. She pink eyes shining. |

[Forest] He chuckled a little, pushing his thoughts on the previous matter to the back of his mind for the time being. "I wouldn't have thought that you'd be the drinking type. I don't touch it myself, doesn't taste good, doesn't smell good and it messes with your body, which isn't a good thing for a swordsman like myself. There are other ways to warm yourself up anyway, without needing to trick your mind in to thinking your warm." He looked back over his shoulder. "What about you Mr. Leader? Any opinions on this?" |

"Anyway I thought it would benefit you because of the body heating properties. I was just suggesting it as a physician... I NOT like that!!!" she huffed. Twisting about in the grasp of her clone. "Can somebody dispel this thing?" she asked "I have two perfectly good legs of my own after all, and it isn't exactly pleasant to be carried around by a frozen copy of yourself." |

Rinnie and Jon plezz try not to post back and forth like that too much... we dont want it to seem like a 2 person rp (and i know how you did this before as well lol)) [Village][2:55 AM] Aeon explained to Vivian how the stones would act as a barrier as the entered the empty village. "It appears we have arrived" Aeon said. "Should we find some food first or a place to rest?" "I say we get some food first." Vivian said, "It would be better for us to regain some energy before we rest. Plus, it would feel better after the walk to get here, since that took longer than I expected." She turned around, to see if she could see the others, to see if they had followed. But if they had, she wasn't able to tell because of the snow, which seemed to be falling down heavier than it was when she and Aeon had left the cave. "But we should keep an eye out for shelter too," She added, "Looks like a blizzard is brewing up out here." She walked ahead, and motioned for Aeon to follow her. She was on the look out for a market of some sorts. And, near the village center, she found one. It was a large indoor market, which was probably the only place to get goods in this small village. "Here we go." Vivian said as she went to the door. However, the door was locked. "Hmmm... Do you think you could get this unlocked, Aeon?" She asked him. |

Aeon | Village "I say we get some food first." Vivian said, "It would be better for us to regain some energy before we rest. Aeon silently wished she would have chosen sleep, as he was ready to sleep standing, but he went along with her anyways. She briefly turned and looked behind them, and Aeon assumed she was watching the weather get worse as she then suggested they keep an eye out for shelter as well. After a short while of following Vivian through the village she found what he assumed to be an indoors market. While she checked the door Aeon took out three remaining rocks and threw them into the air. After a short chant he felt the barrier forming. After his task was complete he walked over to Vivian. "Do you think you could get this unlocked, Aeon?" She asked him. "Yes I can" Aeon thought "and we would have a nice opening on the other wise as well, but that would be a bit too obvious." He then looked at Vivian. "My spell are too big, but that may work" he concluded. "Yes, I can open it" he said to Vivian "but i'll need to borrow your hand" he said as he took her hand with his left and and pointed at the lock with his right. After a short time he placed his palm over the lock and the sound of objects falling could be heard. He released her hand and stood up. "I froze the lock and broke it apart with ice, and then melted the ice with fire. Since I can't use ice magic on my own, but I know I can use your magic to control ice" he explained "I hope my draining ability didn't cause you any problems" he said as he opened the door. "With this method as well, we can bar the door from this side, and make it look like the building has not been tampered with from the outside" he added. "Shall we find something to eat then?" He said as he walked into the abandoned building. |

@All: well I hope Kenji gets back to the RP soon, I'll remind him if I see him in chat. But as people seem to getting to making RP's I thought I'd inform that I have an RP that's almost ready to go. The story still needs a bit of work but it's otherwise ready. I'll probably start taking entries within week. Fenris [Cave] Fenris woke up from his dream feeling rejuvanated as Blackmane had told he would. Fenris was lay still with his eyes closed as he listened and smelled his surroundings. There was a strong scent of wolves in the air, but he could also discern the scents of his companions. Then he heard the wolves starting to speak around him. Their speak was unlike anything he had heard, but for some reason he could understand it. Wolf A: He has awoken. Wolf B: So he has. Pack Leader: Welcome, brother. Blackmane told us to seek you out and so we have. Wolf B: He's quite big for a wolf. Pack Leader: He's not entirely wolf. Wolf A: He's not? As the wolves kept speaking Fenris opened his eyes. The darkness didn't pass even as his eyes were wide open. For a moment he felt panic gripping him until he remembered what Blackmane had said, that this would be temprorary. Fenris: It seems I require your help, brothers. I can't see. Pack Leader: Truly? Well, luckily there are those who are willing to go. Blackclaw! Whitefang! The rest of you go. Two wolves who had been guarding the rest of the pack came to the clearing. Pack Leader: You two shall accompany our brother here. Blackclaw: So shall it be. Whitefang: As it should be. Pack Leader: I'll bid my farewell to you brother. Fenris: Goodbye, brother, Good hunting. The Pack Leader let ou a howl and started running the rest of the pack followed. And Fenris was left with the two wolves. Fenris rose up and faced the direction where his friends had gone. Fenris: We need to follow my friends trail, I trust you to guide me. Blackclaw: We shall, brother. Fenris and the wolves started following the rest of the group slowly.   |
